Speaker 1 (00:19):
Yo, what's going on? Everybody? Happy New Year's Eve and
welcome to a new episode of My Canicass. I'm Candon
Dave and I'm groovy And if you're not in the
United States, Happy New Year for everyone in Europe. About
six hour difference.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
So oh, I was gonna be like what I was like,
that's my brain shit. No, I was like, I was like,
some of not.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
All of Europe, but some of Europe will be because
it's about six that's about six hours.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Perfect nailing the intro. Heh yeah, over No, No, I think
it's perfect. Going into twenty twenty six strong.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Pros pros NotI. We've been doing this for a couple
of episodes. We did do our three hundred this year.
But what's funny is we're gonna go through the whole year.
We're gonna remint on the year, talk about some stuff
that happened, talk.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
About where like everything kind of like will be grateful
for and honestly like what's coming into twenty twenty six.
We will wrap up a little bit of what's going
on too, because obviously we have to end on sort
of a weird note with all the tax stuff. But
we will kind of bring it until like.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
We just bring that in and some good.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Well no, I know, but we have to talk about
where we're going with twenty twenty six, so it's gonna
have to get in kind of towards the end. But
it was a really good year overall. I guess just
for like, you know, the year in general for cannabis.
I guess I would say so, yeah, I would say
it was all right. Yeah, I don't know if I
would say it was great. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yeah, I don't know. I mean for us, it was
a great year. I mean, we kicked off the January
with Eddie and Apex, which is great. He had the
ice the ice cush, which is a phenomenal strain. I
was actually talking to him about doing some work together,
so I actually, you know, to follow up with him
about that. And that was due to the Hashbash Cup
and we'll get to that a little bit. Oh. Let

(02:00):
me give a shout to all of our partners too,
before we jump into these episodes. We want to give
a thank you to all the partners that been with
us through the year and the ones that won't be
with us next year. We appreciate you supporting us this year.
And in the past, and we look forward to rebuilding
the partnership and going forward in the future. But I
want to first kick it off with the last Coast

(02:20):
Plant Therapy just called Mike Cana twenty at checkout. I'm
gonna jump over to Exquisite Extractions, Hash, Bubble Hash pre rolls,
Nebula Nugs, they got it all, and then want to
hop over to Canny extras Wort winning concentrates. Check out
the bubble Bath Vape. They got some fire batter right
now going on, and they're also gonna jump into smoking

(02:43):
tomatoes aka darry Do. Stay tuned. We're gonna be having
clay on in coming up in January, be testing some
new products that they have coming out experiments. Yeah, so
when we do stuff with that, and we got old
schol organics, we got the old school in the new school strength.
So thank you to all of our partners throughout the year,
and thank you for everyone that's been listening in the
jamming to us throughout the year. So appreciate all y'all.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yeah. Yeah, so I mean, yeah, I mean it's been
a hell of a year for me personally, but overall,
I think it like for the can for my canon cast.
It's been a lot of fun, made, a lot of
new relationships and new friends. So I think especially with
personal life going crazy for me and I know you too,
so it's like between both of us having like basically

(03:25):
our hitting our rock bottoms emotionally, like fiscally in some senses,
and then like honestly like the podcast and everyone, this
has been a really great, a great thing that kind
of kept me going throughout it all. So I want
to say thank you as well, So thank you the partners,
thank you to everyone that listens, but mainly like because

(03:47):
you don't know sometimes what's going on behind it. So
it's like we had a great year, like we got
to do Spanis, we had all these new great main
new friends, which actually one of our first episodes I
want to like talk about too after Eddie, But it's
it's just so crazy sometimes how it can like seem
so beautiful and then but really you're going through some shit.
So definitely it was a was a learning curve of

(04:07):
a year, but there was a lot of great new
relationships made, so I mean, you can't really like even Eddie,
like you said, Eddie's story was heartbreaking and so moving,
but like someone like him is like truly a motivator
of why I'm like why I said, like things like
this keep you going because those rock bottoms, Like I
I mean, I hit my own version of rock bottom, right,

(04:29):
But like I can't even speak to someone who's Eddie,
like like you just went through something like he did
and then like pushed through to have such a cannabis
brand who also focuses on mental health. And he's also
a coach. So if you haven't seen Apex out of Lansing,
check out their flower. Great people. You're supporting a good team.
And that's the one thing Like it was starting off
strong because like we didn't even know Eddie prior to
that interview, and then like now we met them and

(04:50):
now you might work with them, so.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
It's like you just it's it's I do want to say,
I want to go piggyback off what you were saying. Honestly,
this year has been a testing year for both of us.
So before we jump even jump into the podcast, I mean, overall,
if you've been finding some of my social and post
a lot of therapy stuff this year mental health and
that's something me and Groovy both here have taken a

(05:13):
lot of in the last like I know me specifically
the last six months, I've been doing some heavy therapy
and groovies. I needed it. Yep, you started. I think
you started writing in April, so you've been going a
little bit while, which has been phenomenal.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I never thought i'd go, and like, to be honest,
I honestly said I would never go. But there's a
lot of things that there's a lot well yeah, that
and other stuff rock bottom, but no, I mean like
in the sense of like what's surprising me is like
things that I never thought I'd be able to overcome
I've overcome, like with mental health and therapy, and which
is interesting to just tie it to cannabis too, is

(05:45):
like it's the same thing with cannabis. I never thought
i'd be sober off the drugs until I like from cannabis,
and like even then, you know, there's been slippery slopes
throughout my years, but like never like how I was again,
you know, and same thing with like I don't know
even this learning curve. You know, every every thing you learn,
you learn from it, right, you got to grow from it,
and that that's.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Like, don't learn that you're just gonna continue falling back.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
And I don't mean to circle back. But that's why again,
I learned so much from Eddie's story, Like, he's such
a motivating person. So if you don't know them and
you don't know APEX, check them out because motivating story
man like. And I think it's actually great that we're
starting off with our mental health journey and Eddie at
the exact same time. It's kind of crazy.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Mental He's big, and it's something I'm gonna continue talking
about going into twenty six. And the reason why I'm
going to continue talking about it is because I feel
good when I talk about it and post it on
social That's what I'm using it for as an outlet, right,
but also the feedback from all of you in my
DMS in the comments, hearing about someone mentioning me to
somebody else when they're hanging out. We heard that in

(06:44):
Vegas there talking about was that the guy that talking
about therapy? Recently we were at tap cow Girl went
up with her and so like, hearing that type of
stuff gets me to wonder, it's like, you know, not
everyone talks about no one wants to Everyone's like, you know,
afraid to talk about it. And mental healthy shouldn't talk
about it or whatnot, but I'm going to continue doing it,
and it's something I'm gonna continue pushing forward.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
And I just think that stigma has been with men
for a while and I think it's slowly dying. But
I am glad you know that you're going to talk
about and stuff.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
So I would never talk about anything if you don't me,
I would bury it, bury it, bury it and give
myself a heart attack to what I used to say, Yeah,
for sure, for sure up until now.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
So again, shout out to Eddie, shout out to mental
health and everything, because like I and I honestly like
have no idea how much mental health was going to
carry me throughout this year, Like that journey of going
to therapy every single week and then buy weekly and
sometimes weekly. It's just but it's been regular, non stop
this entire year. So pretty popped about that for sure.
And honestly, again, like to keep mental health and they

(07:41):
keep so regular, it's very tough, So like it's never
fun sometimes to keep on those days where you don't
want to record, but we love doing it, we love
talking about this, so it's like that's what carries us
through those tough times, you know. In January, I just
want to say, I know we had a couple other
articles or a couple episodes where we took it's called
Biden's avoidance, So I'm guessing we were kind of like

(08:01):
talking about how Biden not doing anything again about scheduled
three right exactly. But I want to skip to January
twenty second, when we had our newfound Bretta Michigan Matt,
because the thing is bro Like, I never thought Matt
would be like, you just never know relationships that are
gonna come after a podcast, right, you don't know, like
I never you never know you're gonna work with Eddie, right,

(08:21):
you never know if it's just gonna be a podcast,
like see you. I think we've chilled with Matt like
fifteen times since I was not at least right but
kicked in in Vegas, And like, if you don't know
Matt's events, Michigan mad in my opinion, throws one of
the best, if not the best, tied with the Olympics.
I always think his events are great, but Olympics is
a great event too.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Is really good with the events he does because.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Well that's why I said, I don't want to knock either.
But those two but some of the best events in
Michigan in my opinion. You know, there are other great
contenders as well. I shout out to Canababe and and
there's other people who throw events right, but they're just
the amount of hype that come over Matt's events are
insane and every time, you know, we've got to do
the scavenger hunts and stuff. So just special shout out

(09:03):
to Matt Man because like that, I think we made
like a like a friend from these people, from Eddie
and from.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Ye and I got in the Fantasy football.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
It's crazy thing that we only knew them a year though,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Not yeah, not even I mean yeah, wow.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
We were probably talking before then, you know.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Yeah, because we met Matt at the Halloween Grower not
the grocery Cally, I'm blinking on it whatever you called
the metric mash. We got him there and then that's
when we did the first giveaway I think was this one,
if I'm not mistaken or we got him on the
podcast and the next time for the Growers Galup, we
did the giveaway. So stay tuned because his next event's
coming up in January into January, so we'll be having
him back on. We actually had him on The Waking Bake.

(09:40):
Drovey brought him in when we were live, so if
you didn't pay attention to that's join us every Saturday,
nine am Eastern. That was fun. But like, yeah, you're right,
he literally popped out.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Well, it's making friends out of this podcast too, like
you know, and especially with the you know, the hard
year it's been. It's great to look back and like
right now especially be like, oh, yeah, I did make
friends this year.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
I mean, honestly, it's there when looking back at these
episodes we did. We had a lot of guests, you know.
Jumping over to in February, we had Jess Jackson on.
We had uh Summer with Us, our other co host,
Summer Sky. She set up this interview. Jess Jackson. Excuse
me if you're not familiar. She's a leader in the

(10:22):
cannabis active advocacy, social equity, and entrepreneurship. She's worked in
the DEI diversity equity and inclusion initiatives for over twenty years.
She was the founder of the Copper House, which was
a cannabis friendly bat in breakfast in Detroit in Detroit
and then she moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, but over there
helping with cannabis and regulation stuff. Over there, she's also

(10:45):
in She does a lot of stuff. She was a
great episode and she also wrote a book.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
I think about the shout out to Summer Sky too,
Like she's, you know again, like we've been going through
a year. Summer has been going through her own year
personal stuff with the move and everything and job stuff
and like changes in like you know, I mean, we
were just so happy to have her aboard, and like,
although you don't see her face every week, she is
just as important as this podcast. Like I love Summer

(11:09):
and she's always here. Hey, we should just get a
picture and put her in there. Actually we should. I'm
gonna put it. I'm gona put a little picture of Summer
just right by you over there. But she's always with us.
I mean, like you know what I mean, dude, dude,
But no, I'm just saying, shut out Summer Sky, Summer
Underscore Sky with four wives, check her out. She's she's

(11:31):
like the female voice in my can of cast and
such a great advocate in this scene. And you know
we've talked, we're gonna get more episodes recorded. I just
want to say thank you because this has been her
first year really with us.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
You know, this is one of the first interviews she
got in for us. She got is this. Then she
landed us. We're going to Flow with Gurrok and then
we had Collexium.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
And actually okay, so and again Flow and again people
like Flow and like we even talked to Anthony for
a little bit from white Guy at the time. But
you but shou out to Flow because Flow is like
a character and a half and I love that guy.
He brought us out to what was that event? Some boats, boats.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Some boats, boats and something.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Yeah, I want to say boats, and that's not it.
That's not it flowed and not called boat although b two, no,
it was called it was called boats and flows. It
wasn't called that because either way rock and then it
was a cool brand fun party. I just wanted to
bring up that party because I never thought I'd go

(12:31):
to a cannabis event at God, what was that venue called? Right,
it's like this this rooster tail, right. I never thought
I'd go to a canabisiment there. And it was actually
really cool, except for the cops outside just being trying
to be tough keeping their lights on for no reason. Well,
it was annoying because they didn't even do anything the
whole time. They just sat there with their cars on,

(12:51):
lights on, and like, like, for what reason you think
we're just now we're gonna go smoke inside while you're here?
Like dude, whatever was smoke as side? Like what's the
like with no one cares? Like, I don't know. That
was like I just want to shout out that event
because Flowed dealt with some bullshit and it was still
a great event. It was still busy, it was like
so it was like it was still a great event

(13:12):
and I, uh yeah, fun fun people. We should do
we should talk to him and it's been a while.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Yeah, well I have to have Flow up if you're
listening and hit us in the DMS if not else
did you just say too? Collexium Colexiom They were great, dude. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
They run the Grow and Dispenser Yeah out of Detroit. Yeah,
female and female empowered and I really love them. I'm
forgetting on her name right now, but they were really great.
They were really nice people. Check them out.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
Yeah, and Summer was with us on that episode that
was we had some uh they I forgot the strain
that they really liked that they were pushing. But they
do phenomenal stuff. I always see them on LinkedIn as
well too, So collecting that was a great episode.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
They were good people, man, really good people and like.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
And then we jumped into Clay smoking tomatoes. That was
That was the intro of smoking tomatoes that has be
coming on new apartments with us, and we couldn't be
more proud of having them with us and going into
twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
I love that and check them out Smoking tomatoes. Man,
if you're not into growing, they have like a whole line.
We're some experimenting ourselves with it this year and even
some growth series. Stay tuned.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Yeah, it's gonna be it's gonna be fun. I'm excited, man,
I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Six months of my health mental health training. But we
come back, we come back out, We come back out,
we come back out, we come back. It's kind of
funny because you can't see our fists at all in
the way I have the editing, So we just disappeared.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
So yeah, no, I mean that is it's been it's
been a it's been a wild year.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Man, it's been Well, that's what I'm saying, Like, I
just hope I really appreciate y'all sticking with us because
it's been a trying year for myself, and the podcast
and Groovy keep me going inside even though it's hard
sometimes outside. So it's it's great, man. That's why I said, like,
and meeting all these people and hearing their stories of
how they were affecting, how they moved through cannabis and
how they were inspired, it reminds me of like why

(14:57):
we did this. We did this to talk about why
Canadi inspires us. Advocates us inspires us. So I why
we want to educate because it inspires us so much
because we love the plan right, and sometimes you forget
it throughout the daily. Oh, we got to produce the content,
we gotta do the recording, we got to meet up,
we gotta do this. So it's just it's it's a
good reminder doing these interviews and stuff. Yeah, I mean, hell,

(15:18):
I mean this is right with my life fell apart
right in April hash Bag pash Bash, but it was a.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Fantastic I want to say. We give a shout out
to Jenna and we had genda for Muhammed's oh I
missed that, and I thought it was so cool to
have her on and have her perspective hiring people, firing people.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
She gave us something just the other side of cannabis
that's not just growing and processing. The more the front
end jobs. Yeah, you know, I don't want to say
fancy jobs, but they're the front end jobs. You know.
It's like when you at a restaurant and the bartender
and the waiter gets all the credit. But let's be
real here, who who really is the one doing everything?

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Yeah, it's the cooks, but they're like they're the job
where you're like, that's that's actually you need them in
position because it helps them make taking it to like
an actual another level of the industry when you have
HR in that.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
And yeah, it was obviously a good reminder for me
actually like in the because that was early. It was
March April, my life was far but I remember being like, wow,
this is a sector that I just don't feel like
anyone really thinks about enough. You know, I know we
all know like the grunt work of like like the
people who were like actually like processing the plans grow,
like the growing side, the people who do watering. We

(16:25):
were trimming. There is manual labor in that sense, like
the ourt culture side, but there's also the whole the
business side. Yeah, the the desk job stuff, which it's like,
oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
And she like helps gets benefits and which that's.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
The whole nother thing benefits, right, You're just like, oh yeah, right, yeah,
she Actually it was really it was a really interesting conversation.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Even had Summer with us on that episode. I was
actually with Jenna inside the capitol that day for when
the riot the riots are not the riots Jesus, for
the protesting, for the twenty four percent tags.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
We were a weird five years man, if you really
think about how much has happened. Just when you said that,
I'm like, man, he's right, because there was also COVID too.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Yeah I did, would mean that, and then it was
the protest, but it was. But we're talking about March though,
I know March was a shitty year but for you.
But we were in Spannabis in March and that was
such a unique, unique experience to be out in Barcelona, Spain,
to be at Spannabis. The last Spannabis in Barcelona is
coming from us, going into you know, a completely foreign country,

(17:29):
trying to find weed, observing the industry, observing how it
is in the culture, and how they're they smoke with
a lot of spliffs, which is like what was it
seventy percent tobacco and then thirty percent marijuana, and just
seeing their culture, the underground cafes, how they still had
products shipped in from other states. Like it was just

(17:51):
so unique and such a cool time to be there.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
That well, we must have talked about it on waken
B because I know we definitely talked about it here
and there. And I am actually pretty sad because that's
a good point. Like I was just thinking that, yeah,
we never got to it because like personal stuff. But yeah,
that was such a great experience. Like maybe we'll just
go do a segment, like I do a quick podcast
about it this year and just talk about it because
the whole experience, because I do want to break it down,
because it was, like Dave said, it was like crazy

(18:14):
having to like go to a place where cannabis wasn't normal. Yeah,
like our normalized ish because I know it's still not
normalized in like Mississippi and like Indiana, right, I guess
from Michigan. Yeah, from my perspective, I'm a little bit
like numb to it all, like where it's like there
you had like really it was really underground and like
even in Spain, like it was normal in the areas,
but like finding those spots and like that were like

(18:36):
true speakeasies for cannabis. It was really a cool experience.
So yeah, very grateful for that experience, and like I
don't know what pushed me like to like like we
should do it, and it's so glad we did because
Dave was like, yeah, let's do it, and I'm glad
we did.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Because last minute too, like we literally playing that and like.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Well, first off, my life, but also like because dude,
they're moving it so it's never ever going to be
the same. So Spannabis to talk about Spain, let's talk
about now. Hell about Spana is now Spannabis is. It
was in Barcelona for the past I don't know whatever
x amount of years, but now they're actually moving into
Babolo right, but not the same experience because they don't

(19:21):
have as many clubs. It's not as many. Like the
art there was phenomenal, Like we did so much art there,
like walking around and seeing art and it was such
a beautiful spot the underground. We got the judge half
full mount out there shout out to Fang in the
big big cloud organic cup. I guess it was out there,
she's shout all the homies. But we got full mount
from Spain that she was great.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Terp what was it? Turp not my god? What was
that term army which.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
By the way, terp army Spain fun great experience, pricey
but fun experience. Turp Army aminam Man just a in
and out cafe, like remember there's nowhere to like.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
Yeah, is a lot better.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
No, well you could still get but we couldn't even
We had to roll up and leave. Essentially, we barely
could roll up.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
It really wasn't even a spot for us to already getting.
People are mad that we.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Were so two different experiences when you say turp arty.
That's why when you said that, I was like.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Yeah, we're talking Barcelona.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
No, No, you're absolutely right, But my brain for some reason
went to Amsterdam because I was like, oh, but I
mixed them up. But no, I just want to say experience. Yeah,
Amsterdam was cool too, but like the cool thing to
But we do have videos coming out for that. Now
I'm thinking about that, because I actually do have one
that I'm editing, so we've been just backed up on
content and life, so but it's coming out. It's not
we can know, but these videos aren't like dated by time,

(20:40):
they're just they're just cool videos. So hopefully them because
I mean, we even got the UK guys teaching us
how to roll up a spliff and stuff too. I
was like, man, I hope we can, Like we ran
in a nickedee and he was like, okay, so you
got to have Moroccan hash is the right way to
do whichback on my own correct and with a filter
from the cigarett, We're okay. And literally, these you guys

(21:01):
from UK lit like thirty minutes later teach us how
to do it. So I'm just trying to figure out
how to like get his face blocked. But worst case scenario,
we're just gonna get it done. So expect a lot
of twenty twenty five content next year, and hell like
we're kind of opening u about it now, but we
both hit our rock bottoms this year. So just happy
that we put out all these videos because we're still

(21:22):
here and we're havn't given up, but we've anything it's
been six months of learning, but I feel like we're
rely charged, you know, crucially having this conversation with you
and they it's recharging. You go like, damn, you're right.
We didn't even like get to some things. We were
so busy and stuff. Right, That's why I han't said before
we start the episode, was like, broll, we're getting down
to our roots in twenty twenty six. We're just like
putting out the videos and talking about the shit we love,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
So I'm excited. We got so much coming out, like
we got Yeah we are at my CC.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
Yeah, we're just we've been Yeah, we've been making some
shit happen. It's just you know, exciting. Yeah, that's what
that's that's that. Oh that's why I held up the
content too. That's what it was too. I forgot like
we were like, oh, we're channing because we were going
to maybe start a channel, which we probably are starting
a little sub channel which you'll see her.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
You might be following it. It's on Instagram already. It's small,
go follow it.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Yeah, so we'll figure it out. You'll be seeing some
fun stuff coming out. So either way, I just think
it's funny to look back and go like, damn, that
much happened and it's only we're only the first quarter
of the year through. But like on a positive note,
right after all my hip way fans dave one hashbash cup,
so I just switched the note completely. But like sometimes

(22:32):
you gotta do that because like at the end of
the day, it's like that was a great thing, man,
because that's back to back chance for the bang. Yeah,
it was.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
It was a great experience.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Like you said, I wasn't I'll be honest. I couldn't
make it. And it broke my heart because that's why
when my brain was processing, like why didn't we talk
about spandamas, I'm like, oh right, I didn't even make
it the hashmash right, Like then I really thought about
where I was at that time, like right, so yeah,
and then things, you know, just we just kept being busy.
Things never happened.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
We continue going.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
I know, we definitely talked about it on the Wakening, We've.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
Talked about it small episodes.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
I know, we did dedicated, So we were waiting and
we are also waiting to meet up and do stuff
with summer, and then my life happened. Things happened that
your life having it was just NonStop. And that's why
I said, like it doesn't matter, We'll still we're talking
about it now.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
Hashbash cup and hashbash were great. It's always great to
be a hashbash, you know.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Yeah, dude, and you fucking want a cup again, dude.
I was like, I remember being like so like happy
for you, but also be like, damn, I knew I
should have went. I knew that I should have went. Yeah, man,
I was so pumped for you, dude, that because I
remember that first year, and like I think the second year,
I wasn't as shocked because I was like, yeah, dude,

(23:43):
because you especially because you entered bangering. I was like, dude,
that bangering slaps, man, I don't care what anyone says.
If you I'll put that against any head high buzz Like.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
Yeah, brother, I don't We'll see.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
I probably the first time I smoke banging, I was like,
you get the old fashioned stairs, you know what I'm
saying Like that, you know what I'm saying. When you
get the stairs where you.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Like, I get so high it puts me to sleep
sometimes that's how high I get.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
And guess what we need to make it in.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
Yeah, bag, I got some ideas.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Yeah, I guess we're back.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Guys. No, but we'll see. I mean I will see
if i'll enter it. I'm gonna enter something in the hashpash.
Maybe I'll do bangering is a donut. Yeah, I got
you bring it back in a different coat, bangering flour
and with someone's rosin. Yeah, I've already. I've been talking

(24:42):
to somebody. Actually, I need to call them. You know
who you are, because we need to do R and
D right now on That is where my head's at.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
I'm available, but I'm available. I'll put in the word don't.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Guys, I got because mister hashbash renounce the dates for
the hashpasch cup entries.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
I mean it's the first first Saturday I've ever April.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
No, No, the entries that are due hash Oh I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Yeah, well, I'm just saying it's the same time every year,
so it's like we know when it's coming.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
I thought it was a week before or another week
but a little sooner.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Well it's a week later. Just reach out to I
remember last time you were so mad and still once.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
We had to go, We're going to Barcelona. I had
a cropper early, right, right right, The whole thing.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Was a right, dude, that was blacked out those like
three months of my life and it was August. This
is like five whatever. No, I mean actually when I
go back there in my head, it's actually hard to
remember anything. But like starting therapy, like Spain was fun.
That's why I said, I'm not knocking Spain. Like being
able to judge the camp and all those great things.

(25:46):
Am streamber was fast and like we only did that
like very fast. I actually want to go back and
actually like stay like and actually take it in because
like we were like all right, go go go and
back to the Blade, and then the second we're like
go back.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
Because I would like to see sit down at some
of the lounges longer. And plus it was so cold,
so if we go to watch it was so cold.
It was like twenty degrees.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
You mean, when we go to m Taperlin and that
time the content will come out immediately, not to like
hopefully who knows, life's crazy.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know, but yeah, we'll
see hashbaglast year. That'll be a good one.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Like I said, Hashbash is always a great event, and
we gotta shot at the I mean, I know it's
we're talking about this year is but we had Adam
on mister Hashbash like three four years ago. Dave loves
that episode because you watch me get him sick and
watch me get COVID, like if you will have no,
no no, but you watch me go from like I
think I'm vying to by the end, I'm like sweating

(26:40):
and I can't even talk, and it's like what happened?
Like just a crazy like just want and check that
episode out because Adam digs into a bunch of history.
It's a two hours.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
It's over to it's the history is phenomenal me and groovy.
Just don't look at us put an audio.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
Yeah, just spotify that episode. Yeah, we're gonna hide YouTube video.
It's only on audio.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
It's actually that was a time when I lost smell
and taste from COVID. It was the worst COVID I ever. Yeah, yeah,
that was funny.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
And then after that, I mean, honestly, like it was
kind of just you know, we're talking about entourage effect again.
We had some random stuff we we talked. I think
we mentioned Mike from House a Dank at Biscon, but
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
Why it was the previous year.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Yeah, I think we I think we did that to
hype up Biscon, like because we were like, oh, Biscon's
coming up, let's put out this interview.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
Yeah, like Mike's Mike's Gray guy, Mike Mike de Laura
with House of Dank.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Doesn't bunch of add crazy stuff. I'm always see him
speak someplace.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
Always speaking, knows all the ins and outs of the industry.
Very smart guy and it was great to have that
interview with him. But we also kicked it with him
at m J Biskond not this year, but the previous year,
and such a cool down to earth fell out, Like
just how real he was just straight up talking talking
to talk respect that honestly, So that was pretty cool.

(27:59):
And then we we had one with Brittany and Mia
from Hardeen that was also around the same time too.
That was when we did at Biscon. We shared their story.
We've actually done a couple of interviews with Hardeen now,
which has been pretty cool. Every time we about Vegas
we've run into them, So shout out to Britany and
the team over there. They're always They're crushing and one
of the best discpos out there. Man.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Yeah, so so one thing I and then we also
had Rosalin on right in June or May or something.
What's interesting because I went to Roslin's website. I'm curious
where they're at because it says Rosen so Small Bass Solvent,
Rosin TC Followership Direct so it says farm bill compliance.

(28:42):
So I wonder if they switched to CBD. I interested,
So I haven't. I was about to say, I haven't
seen them a while, so I just no, I just
googled it. That's what their website said. So it's interesting
to see maybe they made that switch to CBD.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
But he was ready talking about it was tough for money,
and then I've seen stuff that they owed money or
heard stuff, so.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
So maybe they just switch market. Interesting essay. And then
like honestly, it was just kind of random episodes till.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
But I don't know anything on that, so I could.
I can't be.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
We have Resent Rivals, which was actually a really fun,
crazy weekend, which is like really needed for both the balls.
Remember that was fun. Shout out to Resident Rivals. That
whole competition. That was fun. We got to do a stage,
we did a live podcast, and we hit Forest two
nights while we were out there. I ended up bringing
my sacks into forest and jamming at the Frick Frank Blackjack,
which was like actually in the forest, which is actually

(29:27):
really fun. I actually thought it was gonna be like outskirts.
It was like right inside, so it was really fun.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
It was crazy. My sister's friend even heard you and
saw you and came run.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
That was dude, We had it. We had a little
crowd going too, like it was it was coming. Shout
out to j Rose, shout out to beat Nasty, Shout
out to my dude Connor from why not on the viola.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
We were just improving. I literally ran. We were like,
like were we really got in Forrest. I was like,
He's like, we're gonna make it. We're not gonna make it, bro.
We like just uh, such a fun week and met
them like two minutes later performing together. It was fantastic.
But shout out to uh smokey, shout out to who
know for uh for making that happen. It's all good.

(30:08):
But we've had ross on but having them both throw
that event, because without that, I wouldn't have brought my
sacks out there to do that whole event. Because I
did play a set. I think even when I was
at a Resinent Rivals, I did a set one of
the days, if I remember too, I just forgot about
it until now you did one, That's what I mean.
But I did want a res and Rivals the next
day after that forrest day, I forgot. But it was

(30:30):
such fun when you got We ran the whole stage,
We did the whole the whole event, and we even
kind of like minorly just helped out with like a
little bit of everything there. It felt was really fun man.
I mean, grant, we didn't help with the competition, but
just as far as like the av went, so that
was really fun. And I really liked that because they
was kind of like even on one side of that,
like Resinent Rivals they were doing like a national competition

(30:52):
for like Rosen, but they also had like an open
one that people could just like donate, so you had
people from like every side of the mark and I
really enjoyed that. It was kind of a neat idea,
you know what I mean. Yeah, cool experience, man, and
I hope we're yeah, I hope it happens again. Oh man.
This and then right after that was a meat Connect puff,
which was a shout out to Harry. Uh, Harry Parish.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
As well too. This is great for.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
Like yeah, no, for sure, definitely one of the best
business to business. Yeah, I'm not gonna I personally like
the fun events. You know, I'm not saying I guess
every events a little different. I guess when I was
talking about those like earlier, I was saying B two
C events, you know, I wasn't. His event is very zone,
you know, I think it's closer, but it's more of

(31:40):
like to me, it's more of like a fun version
of a corporate event because like you can actually smoke
and stuff, you know what I mean. That's why I
love what Harry kind of found that like pocket of
Like hey, yeah, you know, what's the one in Detroit
that used to travel that doesn't anymore? Uh you call
it Cannon conr Cannicon Cannon. Yeah. I always mix up

(32:00):
m J and that, so Canna Khan it's like that,
but smaller fun. I am more direct, like as you
can smoke and ship. So yeah, for me, it's like
the I figure he trumped way to trump some of
those other events.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
Yeah, he does it well. I mean the food he
gets there is phenomenal. He always has good food. And
then just the networking. I think that's the keys, right,
there is the networking as well, so it's different.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
But and that's where we had Meeta Calgirl.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
So yep, and we had stick too.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Yeah, yeah, for surely was that one. I thought that
was the next one. I was that same one, okay, yeah,
shadows of stick.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Stick Damn Calgar. Because you were out in the crowd
with the mic walking around, I was talking behind and
I had Damn Cowgirl nice to me and we were
talking back and forth.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Homies, homies home.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
If not mistake. And then after that we had a
Hatch wise guy and then Scotty shots for being with
us for the last couple of years.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
Yeah yep, yep, and then Hatch Hatch is one of
his artists, and Hatches like really cool dude, if you
haven't checked out Hatch, why guy? I checked out his music,
just dropped an album, yep.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Just performed at what was their their event that they
were promoting before that, Boonie Bash.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Oh yeah in the summer. Yeah. I shout shout out
to nine oh six can a couple for sure. I
always want to line up that event. But for the
past couple of years, I played another event. I'm hoping
to get up there this year. I should reach out
and kind of talk to him sooner than later. But anyway,
shout out to the whole crew and shout out at
hatch Wise Guy. He actually wrapped on one oh six
in park back of the day, so we're like, I mean,

(33:30):
granted cannabis. You know, he's you know, he's in the life,
and we got to talk about his personal life, but
just learning about hatch Wise Guy in general. And then
like since then, I've been checking out his tunes. Bro
dude can spit, you know what I mean, check him out. Man.
That was cool because I love like cannabis does touch
music and artists, you know, whether how they use it
or edibles or only a little bit, or they smoke
mad blunts or whatever. We see artists a lot in cannabis. Yeah,

(33:54):
music artist in cannabis, you know what I mean. That
was a good one, man, That was fun.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
Music in the we'd go hand and hand.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
And after that it looks like we got into best
in Grass live reviews. That means that must have been
right around the time we started doing risky reviews this year. Yeah, yeah,
that's right, and then Best in Grass.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Best and Grass, so it was Best in Grass Reviews.
But then we kind of put a twist on it
to give it a little bit. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
I think we eventually did have them on the podcast,
but that was later when it was actually when they actually.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
Did the I think we did improp live for them
the night.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
That's what it was. It was a live to give
away tickets, that's what it was. It wasn't a podcast.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
I've actually been doing a lot of giveaways, which is
kind of fun when we bring that.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
That's a big thing in twenty twenty five. Yeah, so
check that out. We're gonna be doing that more. We've
been having a blast doing that, like with people, which,
by the way, I do we have to talk about
that because someone called me about that. I totally forgot one.
We own one. We own a mechanic cast package. Just
someone de we oh it almost stop. By the way,
Hey I'm gonna pick that up. I'm like fuck. Sometimes

(34:55):
we missed green Gate though, so like my whole point
was though the the giveaways are gonna happen, we just
sometimes and we have so much fun like that one.
We weren't even supposed to give away.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
We're just we're doing another one'll do one Saturday. For
the first few years.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
That was my point, was just popping over by the
waking bags, Like we tend to just do impromptu giveaways,
but also we want to like do more just in general,
and it's.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Fun having people throw events, come on and give away tickets.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
Tickets. Yeah, well that's I'm saying giveaways in general, like
stick around man like and honestly, we should reach out
to more event people and just have them come on
and do that. So if you do an event, you
promote an event, you want to come on and do
giveaway with us, coordinate, let's do a giveaway. You know,
we have a groovy cannon, Dave. My cannon casts summer socials,
so we'll make something happen. Sorry, sorry, my sweater got

(35:38):
caught on my I was like, oh, which, by the way,
all right, we gotta pause here. I got my cat
a matching one, and I also got Dave's dog a
matching one. But look at this, look at this thing anyways,

(35:59):
all right, Sorry, I don't know sign No sweaters. Animals
and sweaters they're adorable, nice shivering so their dorms. But
no I mean meet best UH Best in grass It
was a definitely a need competition to be part of. Again.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
Yeah, shout out to uh Mark and Joey. We got
an interview with them at them at Bisons that they Yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
I don't even have to look at that video. I
don't know what that's gonna.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
Sound like, but it's it's a fun competition that they
have and people are judging it and the review system
that they put in I think is kind of unique
where you get to pick the categories and you explain
what it is and you rate it on the scale.
So I do like what they're doing. They're hitting all
in different states. So they they just launched in Vegas
or Nevada this year, which Joey was excited about. So

(36:49):
it seems like he's doing well. And I look forward
to them coming back in twenty six and we had marks.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
Energy Mark and Joey's energy too.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
They're good people. So I think like when you when
they meet the poet, meet who's actually throwing the event,
You're like, all right, it's getting to be pretty good.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
You know, and honestly, the data you get for a company,
you know, regardless of what you think about the competition,
because competitions are very tricky to make everyone happy. Yeah,
you know what I've noticed and like because I mean
even for me, I have like I'm a big fan
of just like doing it one way, which is blind.
But the problem is about blind is you don't necessarily
always get the feedback right in the same way sometimes
the blind or just competitions where it's like give me

(37:25):
one through whatever, which if they wanted to, they probably
could data better, but a lot of those ones don't.
Like I haven't seen one that's tied the data with
the blind with whatever. But like best in best in grass,
I think the data they give to those brands is
like next level, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Yeah, no, no, no, I agree, because they do give
the data back and that's what you want as a brand,
you know, because that does so much for you. So
they're good people. Uh, I'm excited to see the The
one thing I want to say is it's kind of
cool hot press. I kind of dig that vibe sometimes
because all events, you know, oh yeah, wherever you want,

(38:02):
but they do address to impress, and sometimes it kind
of feels good when you dress up you feel no it's.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Fun to see people indifferent. I almost don't even recognize people.
You don't how many times I had to double take
people that night. I was like, oh right, I'm blinking
on their name.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
But they brought over to other people with them from
their team at Best and Grass and they were over
that night before, but they were dressed up, so we
didn't even recognize them. Remember, they came up to us,
I know, and I'm blinking. I apologize, but that that's
just how good the event is. Because it's like cocktail tire.
That's a pretty good way to put it. So yeah,
shout to them, looking forward to it. What else we
got groovy, you know?

Speaker 2 (38:36):
And then it kind of smoked along into August, which
was like dab Cowgirl, we must add deb cowgirl on again, shout.
I love her, she's me and her actually like friends,
like you know what I mean, Like we become like
friends friends again. It's crazy to think, like over the
year and a half ago we only met her at Bizcon.
Now I would be like I could just call her
like that's my dog, you know what I mean. If

(38:58):
you don't know, dab Cowgirl or content is hilarious and
if you don't know her. You know her because she's
the girl wearing green and make way more sense when
you go check it out. He's funny, content, educational stuff,
great stuff. Love her And that was a good episode
because we really I feel like we got to get
to know each other, especially because we both bonded over
our birthdays being right around the same time the next

(39:18):
week or two weeks from then, so pacts. That's my
cuss twin dog. Then we talked about Veridius. So was
that when the scandal went down? Or were just bringing
up another thing? So that's why I just was curious
if you remember.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
They finalized it everything I think with the okay, because
I know that we were talking about the license is
shut down and something else. But okay, yeah, yeah, that's
not good about that. I don't care about that. The
one I'm most excited about was this September when we
had fucking uh.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
Are we gonna get to za? Are you gonna go
to that? Oh? You're gonna go next, but hold on,
let's before we get there. I really wanted to shout
out the Olympics. I know where you're about to go.
I can already tell because he's bumped out well, because dude,
the Olympics was great. Man, like, I love the Olympics.
That was a great eventual, the tyler and exciting matter
because also we got to run back year before me

(40:05):
and Summer didn't imprompt to impromptu uh trophies away right
Raindom because I was like, yo, bro, you want to
do this. I'm like, He's like, you're talking about people.
I was like bet. I was like, let's go. And
then we did a couple of awards. You know, there's
other great people there too. And then this year Slim great.
Dude loves Slim great. Em C the Cat's awesome. But

(40:25):
also some people backed out. He's like, yo, I want
to run it back. I'm like, hell yeah. And this
time Dave was there because last year you were out
of town with family, right, so you well you were
out of town, so like we and then this year.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
We got to do it.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
You were with well, I mean, I was Slim was MCing.
I was just helping give.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
Awards, correct, but you were speaking.

Speaker 2 (40:43):
And then Summer, yeah, we had like our team Atflete
for sure. Summer would just kind of read the card
and actually did the award part. I kind of just
hype people up, calm people down type of thing, and
then it was like I'm just gonna hold the drum
well also because I think it was also like Dave.
Dave's not like Dave needs like I don't mean to
speak about you, but Dave prefers to plan. So when

(41:05):
you're like, hey, Dave, you want to speak in front
of like what five hundred people in ten minutes, Dave's
like no, Dave's automatically going to go with the easier option,
Like I'm no, no things. I love it, dude, I
love that shit. It's just funny for me. People probably
like this guy's an idiot, like bring back slim, but
who's the short one?

Speaker 1 (41:25):
It's creovy. No, but that I respect the time he
always no.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
I love it. I love that whole event. I just
said I wanted to speak to that honor because I
actually do like being on stage because of the producer
DJ thing. It's like I love m seeing and stuff.
So I'm trying to bring that side out of me.
More is do that more? Because I you know, when
I'm in a good mood, I am very hyper and heavy.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
Yeah we got sweet so hoodies too.

Speaker 2 (41:46):
Yeah, dude, those hoodies are cold. So anyways, and then yeah,
do we we had one of the most I would
say impromptu and coolest interviews because these are some like
at least the podcast itself is something that we've like
kind of not like we just kind of respected and
always kind of was like, oh, it's because it's they're
one of the biggest ones in the game. So shout
out to Summer to make this happen. But yeah, we

(42:10):
had Lance from Yeah come on our podcast, which I
mean again like yeah, and dude, dude, Lance was a
cool cat man. Dude.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
He stayed here for almost two We almost recorded for
two hours, but he was here for like three and
a half fours. It was here for a while because
I was working.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
He was very improved to you. No, I worked too.
I just happened I had to get you off that afternoon,
and like, my job's very event based, so it's like
it depends on the date, right, I mean they're busy
or I'm not right.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
I know, Summer's like, hey, this is the date. But
like I even got called.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
We had like six days of like we were like
ten days. Like it wasn't a lot of notice because like, well,
because of his schedule He's like, I'm being this town.
He's actually have this time. And then we're like, okay,
so we were like we're gonna make it happen, and
you made it happen. I'm just giving you shiits. We were.
I was like, and Summer even left me to get
like get dressed or whatever and like call butever do whatever.
And I'm just like chilling land. I'm like some dog,

(43:01):
but dude, coolest cat ever. You know. He wasn't like
in a rush to leave, the chillest dude.

Speaker 1 (43:06):
I mean, I was like, wow, this is he didn't
I thought, you know what, I.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
Enjoyed he damn. I enjoyed that he like blessed us
with little Flower before he left, Like he was just
he was a nice guy, Like I don't I see
why he does well with the podcast. He can lead
a conversation, he can hold man ship. It was actually
very interesting. I didn't really have to like guide anything
like hey, and he asked us a question like, dude,
my man, I feel like when things get quiet, I

(43:32):
just asked a question like Ray, that's my job, you know, like.

Speaker 1 (43:36):
Question three two?

Speaker 2 (43:40):
No, But he was dude, it was it was It
was interesting and to hear someone that like, basically it's
paid to podcast, was really an honor to have them.
And then he gave us some info offline online. You know,
he gave some stories that he's never told. And if
you haven't checked out that episode, that was great. I
think David put the video up on Spotify for that
one too. I remember because he was like, I put
the video.

Speaker 1 (44:00):
Actually postmart clips. I mean, it was a really good episode.
It was. I was just so blessed that he took
time out of his day to even stay longer and record.
Like usually, you know, we only do about an hour podcast.
Everybody for longer and it goes to two hours.

Speaker 2 (44:16):
Well, I might have to edit something out, so if
you're listening, it might be like forty don't be.

Speaker 1 (44:19):
Like idiot that thirty eight fifty, get your facts straight
growing and if you are paying that much attention, just
shot in the comments on Spotify it that'd be kind
of cool to see. Yeah. But yeah, after that, I
mean that's when this huge twenty four percent tax came
into a fact and they came out of nowhere. Yeah,

(44:41):
thank you man in the house. Bill sucks. But I
went to I made to that.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
Yeah, I mean because I mean, like, yeah, let's talk
about it.

Speaker 1 (44:51):
Like experience to be a part of with the entire
industry chanting all three four levels of the state capitol,
save our jobs, and there she had a bunch of stuff.
It was Honestly, it was very chill powerful.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
That's the thing. It was very shitty, and it's really
shitty to now be on the other side because now
we all know it passed and it went through and
it's about to take effect if you're listening to this
podcast tomorrow. But if you're realistic listening to this podcasts
probably already in effect because it's probably the first you're
probably listening to them. But so for me, it's it's
just mind blowing down to look back and be like,

(45:25):
oh man, that's right, this is when it changed, and
we're like, oh maybe for so hurt. Yeah, well, because
people got nervous. People get nervous, prices go up, people sell.
Things change when people.

Speaker 1 (45:36):
Get interesting twenty twenty six with prices because i know
the price is going to hit the consumer, so I'm
curious how low.

Speaker 2 (45:43):
Yeah, I've seen things go back and forth on that
and seeing like I think you'll be able to pass
off to consumer to some degree, but it depends on
if your stuff's still bad and if people are still
beating your price. I think it's going to really depend
on your company. We'll see how much you're not just
gonna be able to up twenty four percent and just
sell your product for more. If you're already having trouble

(46:03):
selling your stuff, Like if Dispo's are already being I
could buy better, You're gonna have trouble. If you're selling
out every time, You'll probably be fine, you know what
I mean. I just think that That's what I'm trying
to say, is like, I don't know if it's necessarily
it's gonna be like twenty four percent to everybody. People
will want to pass it off to consumer. Will they
be able to That's not our question, I guess, is
what I'm saying. I think most are going to that's

(46:24):
my opinion. Well, they're definitely going to try. I'm not
disagreeing with that. I'm just saying who will be successful
and who will have to just cut?

Speaker 1 (46:30):
Yeah? Well, SOE time will tell shitty topic.

Speaker 2 (46:34):
Yeah, well, and it's yeah, I mean, yeah, yeah, it
really is a shitty topic because at the end of
the day, like it's very uh gamble right now to
a lot of these companies. So but it's crazy that
we've been dealing with it since October, yeah, like beginning
out October two.

Speaker 1 (46:52):
Yeah. Really if you think about it, well after that
that we had our partner who joined us earlier in
the year, Exquisite Extractions.

Speaker 2 (46:58):
Oh yeah, that way fine. Only worked that all out
and we were really really really great to have them
on because Trends become a homie too, a good friend,
especially with Vegas and stuff.

Speaker 1 (47:07):
Like the huge relationship with the Mountain Vegas.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
They do great processing. If you're a company looking to process,
reach out to us and we can tap in or
just reach out directly. Heard about your on Michanic Gass fact.
But literally, like if you're looking to process stuff, I
know they process stuff for company. I won't throw any
of the companies underneath the bus, but I know they
throw a process for known ones, you know what I mean.
So it's like check them out, man, they do good work.

(47:32):
They're a good team.

Speaker 1 (47:36):
Good good good people, quality quality product to good people.

Speaker 2 (47:39):
And it's for a good price too, man. I mean,
it's just it's a it's an affordable price.

Speaker 1 (47:45):
Yeah, shot, I mean, try Carter, the whole.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
Team and Travis all them. There's there's a whole team.
And I even met more people when I went to
the other day, Like, there's a team that processes that
we don't know and we just met some of them
who went out to Vegas. Right, They're a whole, whole,
good team. And like I said, it's actually kind of
funny to think how many friendships we've developed over just
this year. I didn't actually really think about it till now.
We're going to look back on this year, you know.

Speaker 1 (48:09):
So yeah, yeah, man, it's pretty it's pretty wild when
you think about it like that.

Speaker 2 (48:15):
Yep, yep, that's what happened.

Speaker 1 (48:16):
I mean, what happens I think you know, you're meeting now.

Speaker 2 (48:18):
We had a couple episodes that were about house bills
in the state Bill five ninety seven and stuff like that,
because it was like.

Speaker 1 (48:24):
It was that was the main time. That was all
everyone was talking about.

Speaker 2 (48:27):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (48:27):
It was after lawsuit after lawsuit. Obviously all lawsuits got
the nie I do want to go Before we hit
a house bills donor review, we had our three hundredth episode.

Speaker 2 (48:39):
Yeah, which actually was funny. I forgot it's not on
Spotify because we did it live correct, because we don't know.
I forgot about that because I'm like looking, I'm like,
where is three hundred.

Speaker 1 (48:47):
Episode after number fifteenth? I believe, because no, it was
November fifth.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
But that was just a fun one. I think we
did a giveaway.

Speaker 1 (48:53):
fIF We just didn't give away fifth November right.

Speaker 2 (48:56):
Because we said remember because I did. We bought the
mess and we forgot.

Speaker 1 (49:00):
I still did a video.

Speaker 2 (49:02):
Yeah, I know, but we both forgot. They were like
to the left slightly and we just forgot.

Speaker 1 (49:07):
But yeah, we did do a live and we gave away.
We gave away some. We gave away a lot. We
gave away its.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
Supposed to be three hundred dollars worth the prizes but
then up being more just because we had from the sponsors.
Gave some donations and stuff, so that was really fun.
We lost Coast Stove, we gave my.

Speaker 1 (49:20):
Can, doctor Dab did some class a hot knife cash.
We get a lot. That's what I'm saying. If you
guys aren't, if you guys aren't in our lives, are
paying attention to our stories Saturday, you're missing m Eastern time.
Be there.

Speaker 2 (49:33):
I'm not saying an end time anymore? Where's nine am
we start?

Speaker 1 (49:37):
Join? Join?

Speaker 2 (49:38):
We usually go to a ten no matter what. Sometimes
we've been just pushing it to ten thirty if we
have fun and there's people in the jet, so just
like realistically if it's popping, but at least still ten
if we're busy, like we have interviews or something going on.
So yeah, really fun.

Speaker 1 (49:53):
Join because you never know when we'll go live too,
but it's all in our stories. So go follows some
ig MI canic cast am I cast that's am I
C A.

Speaker 2 (50:02):
N A C voice smile that's am I C A
and and A C A s T.

Speaker 1 (50:08):
You know, you don't know that you're looking at my
can't cass on your phone and you don't know.

Speaker 2 (50:13):
But yeah, fall, yeah, pretty crazy. Hit that three hundred episode.

Speaker 1 (50:16):
Because the giveaways are own real and when they wait
till next year and three hundredth man, I never thought
we'd even hit three hundred. Pretty wild. I mean, think
about Chester this year.

Speaker 2 (50:22):
I honestly thought I'd give up, Like I thought I
was gonna quit for sure. Podcast music. That's why you
didn't see a lot of music come out this year either.
I straight got it. I have a lot, like well,
lots of exaggeration, but I have some stacked up. I
have some done mastered everything. I just was like frozen time,
Like it was like Hawkins November sixth, it upside down

(50:42):
in my life.

Speaker 1 (50:43):
Nice Stranger Things.

Speaker 2 (50:45):
Yeah, it's coming out. It's coming out.

Speaker 1 (50:47):
It's coming out to mine finally, the ten year series.

Speaker 2 (50:51):
Your boy has watched him go from thirteen to twenty three,
al right, in the past four years in Hawkins, Dude,
it crazy every time. I well, because the thing is, Dude,
I like it, Like I like a good plot, and
I like good twists, and I like when they like
it's like Harry Potter if you watch Harry Potter, Like
there's hints in the first book of like the whole story, right,
I love a full story, a full circle story. So

(51:13):
big fan. So I've already watched it two times, like
I especially the mode I was in over the past year.
I was like, I love this show. So I'm very
excited for Stranger Things. Everyone was like Christmas. I'm like, yeah,
Stranger Things. They him and I watched it with my
family while my family we caught up on two different TVs.
Like I was catching up on some episodes, and my
dad was catching up on other episodes. So there's just

(51:34):
two TVs of Stranger Things the entire day, night and
day going into It's not just me, it's my family.
Like we all like it. We all like science fiction
and like kind of nerds. No, no, anyways, I was
just excited. But anyways, I never I mean I yeah,
never three hundred episode dude. I was kind of like, really,
you know, because it just feels like way, like more

(51:56):
even sometimes, but like just that we did it consistently
and and against all the tribulations of cannabis and like sure,
now maybe we figured out this other idea with other
channels and stuff, but you know, it's been a it's
been an upward hill battle, you know, especially the name
we chose. So you'll let me learn though, you know.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
Smoke here, Yeah, I mean if we didn't smoke, that
would probably help us too.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
Oops.

Speaker 1 (52:21):
Sorry, joint.

Speaker 2 (52:25):
Well we're almost done, so like, honestly, I'm about the
pack of dad. We can split this, but I the
one the next episodes we had was she Here and
Jay from West Coastminster. She was of high prophecy.

Speaker 1 (52:36):
Yes, that was an episode.

Speaker 2 (52:39):
Especially because we were like writing our like coming out
about our how bad the year was really because I
feel like for the first like three four months, like
I didn't talk about it. I just kind of liked
went through the motions, right, but like especially having them
on and they talked about mental health and here from
High Prophecy does mental health events like including yoga, other
different events and stuff alongside with Jay. But just that

(53:00):
we opened up about it and they asked us questions.
So it was very cool to open up about it,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (53:05):
Yeah, Jay Run's West Coast Med set down in Detroit
and then like sets you here runs.

Speaker 2 (53:10):
A punch bi exotic, exquisite, exquisite.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
And just see how she attacked growing to like healing
and healing the soul and all the mental health. It
was just holistic healing. You know. I'm all about that,
and that's what we're talking about with therapy and stuff.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
It was just well, I mean, even when you think
about therapy in itself, talk therapy is a consistent process
in which you unravel things. Right, we're growing or even
art creation is why as another form of therapy, because
you are doing something right and intrigue something invokes thought. Right,
So I think even when you're sitting there growing and
you're sitting there and you're working on a plant, like
something might happen. There's something about that that it's not

(53:49):
necessarily like talk therapy, but there is some type of
like you're here, you are healing because you're creating something,
you know what I mean, in a way.

Speaker 1 (53:58):
Yeah, no, I get that, that makes sense. I get
that makes sense.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
You are creating something. Not in a way, but why.

Speaker 1 (54:04):
Had it was phenomenal guests this year on the podcast,
Like some of these episodes have been unreal and then we.

Speaker 2 (54:09):
Got into biz kind of game which Biscon this year
was a great was fun as hell.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
Yeah. We make some interviews released, like we talked.

Speaker 2 (54:16):
About yeah yeah yeah, Geared bros. We got a little
talk with Brian, We got I mean small little interviews
on site. We actually did more log style stuff like
really what we started in Spain. We never got to
show you. It's all gonna come with Spain, Amsterdam and
Biscon from this year. But I hope now that you
have a little insight on why you understand you know, so.

Speaker 1 (54:38):
Ay sometimes happens. You don't expect old people.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
At the same thing. No, it was like it was
like I was like rock bottom, He's like crap, all right,
And then like I was like, all right, I'm feeling better,
and they was like here we go. Not cute, but
we made it and we haven't. We haven't. You may
have seen things, felt like things shifted from us, but
it's not just it's been hard to keep up with
just this kind of content, ye alone all the other

(55:05):
stuff we've been wanting to do. And you know that's
why I said we're going back to our roots. No, man,
I feel it, you know what I mean? Yeah, Man,
it's it's life.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
Man. I got so much stuff up coming.

Speaker 2 (55:15):
Yeah, And honestly, dude, I think you know, I think
what's cool about a New Year, man, is always a mystery,
you know what I mean, Like you don't know what's
gonna happen. New Year knew me like it could be,
might not be, It might be, you know what I mean.
He knows I just changed my insurance and save a
ton of money. Actually it wasn't a Geico, but I

(55:38):
wonder if they would have got me cheap rates damn
called the get go but no, Uh, you know, a
lot of learning comes within growth and a lot of
that and especially because like some of our ideas didn't come.
We were struggling with ideas until some of this rock
bottom hit and then all these channel all the other
things started coming into place. So sometimes you have to
hit rock bottom two kind of uh repurpose some stuff,

(56:03):
you know what I mean, otherwise you find it fall
un comfortable.

Speaker 1 (56:06):
Yeah, no, no, that makes sense. That's why I was
on real when we hit the three hundredth going back
to it, like I can't believe it because it's three
hundreds a lot of episodes. That's you. Light will release
fifty two a week, I mean fifty two a year, but.

Speaker 2 (56:18):
The week would be insane. Yeah, a lot of mystery
comes into this next year. You know. Obviously we already
talked about the shitty twenty four percent tax and what
that mystery brings to Michigan. But also the rescheduling happened.

Speaker 1 (56:30):
Yeah, how do you end the year? And that? Oh
also last guest we had Miss loud Queen.

Speaker 2 (56:34):
Oh I got alost forgot what Miss Loud Yeah, Oh
my gosh, she was great. Shout out to Miss lau Queen.
I thought I was getting to the rescheduling thing, but
you know, yeah, because we snuck her in. Shout out
to Summer for setting that up, and Summer was on
that one, great one. But miss lau Qui was from
the UK and we got to talk about some of
European events and things she's experienced and things perspectives and talk.

Speaker 1 (56:52):
About Turps Lounge, all sorts of stuff different.

Speaker 2 (56:57):
Yeah, dude, that was That was a great episode. I'm
sorry I start skipping to where we're going in the
next year because we started talking about to him.

Speaker 1 (57:03):
Yeah no, no, no, I do know.

Speaker 2 (57:04):
Miss Loudkin was great. No, she was a great interview.
We went longer. Shouted to Miss loud Queen's dad like
he was over kicking it, like off scenes as being
the homie, like we kicked it for hours, like that
was another episode we were out here.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Yeah, but it was a long night for Dave.

Speaker 2 (57:20):
Yes, yeah, day day. Yeah, well we did a late
night and then like yeah, so, but that's what I'm saying,
Like sometimes people don't see they just see an episode
of four twenty, like, no, it's not always that easy
breezy cover girl.

Speaker 1 (57:32):
Yeah it's but no it's not.

Speaker 2 (57:34):
But yeah it seems like it when it's consistent, right,
It's like when you see an artist come out with
all this music and then you don't know what's going on. Man, great,
I'm just comparing an analogy. I know.

Speaker 1 (57:41):
Yeah, it's almost like you take it like, wow, this
is this is great. As a user, you might take
it for grants sometimes because when it comes out consistently
like oh this is nice, nice, and what it does,
he's like, oh damn. But we try to keep it
as consistent as possible even when we.

Speaker 2 (57:54):
Do hit and we're gonna have more we have. We
honestly are backpile on interviews that we need to set up.
If we could, if we didn't have day jobs, we'd
have we'd have a new one every week every it'd
be easy. So we're gonna catch up with new interviews,
new people, new perspectives. So we're hoping to bring people
in from companies but also use their expertise, you know,
talk about their companies, but also highlight something within that episode.

(58:16):
More so you're gonna see my Canic cast pivot a
little bit more towards the educational stuff and then also
see us maybe have a little bit more of a
logging fun channel coming out. So twenty twenty six is
gonna be a great year for the for the Channel.
It's definitely a mystery for cannabis with this Trump signing
rescheduling in but I mean with all the people missed,
all the mystery that are that could be in the negatives,

(58:38):
there are some guarantee positives right now in which we
talked about in the rescheduled episode a couple of weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (58:44):
Yeah, I mean, like.

Speaker 2 (58:46):
The Medicare stuff with CBD products, the basically bringing back
the right parts of the hend bill, not the shitty parts,
regulating the shitty parts. And then the banking and then
like this opened up companies for credit cards, marketing, right offs,
write offs in general. That's gonna open.

Speaker 1 (59:01):
Up huge for that huge and they finally right.

Speaker 2 (59:04):
So there are positives.

Speaker 1 (59:06):
They recognize it. It's not schedule woman, it's not on
the same level. And for a lot of people that
have been around for years, a lot older than us,
and they've been fighting this forever, they find they feel
a little good. Obviously, it's not the all end all
we want.

Speaker 2 (59:17):
Well, it's just gonna be want yeah, well right, But
also but also like as long as rescheduling becomes research,
that becomes be getting it descheduled then I'm all for
this step, right because we had to do we had
to do. But like if it becomes the wrong people
make the wrong decisions right now, that's that's I think.

(59:37):
I think a lot of people are worried about the
control part, and so am I. Yeah, Pa, there there
there are two ways to look at it. And at
the end day right now, we're both just kind of
going with the blow.

Speaker 1 (59:49):
Yeah, that's the that's the that's the open ending question.
Like what's going to be. So we'll see and that'snna
be something we're talking about all next year.

Speaker 2 (59:55):
It's gonna be a lot of new stuff for us,
a lot of new stuff for the industry. It's gonna
be a lot of new this year. Yeah, so let's
do it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:01):
I'm looking forward to. Let's go, let's go. We'll be
live this Saturday, nine a m. Eastern. Two weeks. We're
gonna have slim on I think as well too.

Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
Promoting events and stuff in this whole new year. We
got you know, Michigan Math's gonna come on and give
away more tickets. So whatever weekend before that is, stay
tuned to the socials. If you're not following us on Socials,
mechanic cast everywhere would be good. M I C A
N N A c as to the website. Yeah, we're
gonna be rep the websites. Like I said, I'm actually
starting to get back into my editing flows again, so

(01:00:35):
it's it's we'll come back. So yeah, it's well, it
feels like a rebirth in some sense, especially for me
with the music.

Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
I've been like writing lyrics to my words or to
my music and stuff, which again I don't know, I'm
still experimenting, but hell yeah lyrics and I got music.
I got collabs coming, I got collabs in the works
that I we'll see. Hopefully everything works out. And just
like I said, keep grooving music everywhere, saxophone, quitar, impro
over like bass music, medium dance.

Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
Stuff, follow my boy yep.

Speaker 2 (01:01:06):
And then.

Speaker 1 (01:01:08):
Canaday pretty much everywhere.

Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
Mister cannabis David. Oh wait, though, I'm sorry it's your
your nickname Canaday.

Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
Yeah, that's funny. Yeah, I found me anywhere. I'm looking
forward to next year. Hopefully we'll util He gets more cubs.

Speaker 2 (01:01:22):
Yeah, so he's like, I don't know what to do.
I got I got more cubs than I got arms.
Now those those hash bass leave them here.

Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
Yeah, that's right, that's the goal. I'm looking forward to
doing some class I want to do some collabs. So
if you're listening to this, let's get the bangering in
the market, let's talk. Let's get this bitch in market.
People need to get tried, and let's do some donut
clabs and then also, Happy New Year. Be safe.

Speaker 2 (01:01:50):
If you're drinking, don't drive, man, please have Uber lift.

Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
There's like if you're in Michigan, there's so many lawyers
that are putting out like codes that you'll give you
free rides like literally, yeah, like thirty dollars credits and
stuff through Uber and left.

Speaker 2 (01:02:02):
Yeah you used to. I'm sure sometimes a gig back
that Uber makes money for interesting Hey whatever, no, no, no, no, no, no,
I'm just thinking out out. Sorry, you don't need to
drive on New Year's It's like if you drink or
your twenty first birthday or anything, I'll do it. Sorry,
just don't drink and drive. Like I'm sorry. I just
think about when I got arrested, but like, don't, don't
do it. It's not worth it.

Speaker 1 (01:02:19):
It's not worth it. But yeah, thank you all for
a great year. Twenty twenty five. Thank you for sticking
with us. Looking forward to twenty twenty six. Stay tuned,
it's just beginning.

Speaker 2 (01:02:28):
Yeh. Shout out to all the partners that help make
it happen this year. My Lost Coast plant Therapy Mike
twenty twenty percent off, exquisite extractions, can it be extracts,
smoking tomatoes, old score games, check them all out. They
make this happen.

Speaker 1 (01:02:44):
So yeah, appreciate it all, each and every one of them.
