those will be in the Best in Grass competition, so
you'll be able to check those out, which is pretty sweet.

the turpenes thrive. They're gonna have some fresh harvests of
Jealous Jerry's which will be collabbed with Cannoby. They got

(01:47):
the Calhoun Cream and the EGT. I'll tell you that
e God's really good. We smoked it on the wakem

then he's got Collapse cooking up with Cannoby as well too,
so more collabs there, and then shout out to Old

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah, man. Love. We hear back from the sponsors when
they get customers and when they hear the tag, so
they really helps. But yeah, absolutely, how you doing groovy?

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Before we jump into everything.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
It's a loaded question, my friend. I am here. I'll
say that I feel good. You know, I'm writing music
like a lot lately, but so, I mean, you know,
it is what it is.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
I love that. I love that he actually is write
music because he showed me one before he recorded and
he's singing in it too, so that's pretty cool. I'm pumped, man,
I'm pumped to see what you're putting out these coming months.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
I got a lot of say, so expect a lot,
I really do. And I have actually a lot of
music sit on. So just been writing, man.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
You know, I'm glad you're writing. I'm glad you're back writing.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Yeah, creating it. It's been pretty crazy, but yeah, good good.
About to take a dab here. Shout out to our
buddy Tommy. We've been having guests on the waken Bake
lately which has been great. Actually we're having another guest
this weekend. But before I get into that, Tommy from
HTD shout out to the homie. A lot of fun
always makes it a whole new experience.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
You know.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
It's just rather than me and him talking about strains
we liked or don't like, and what we what events
are coming up, you know, that type of stuff, like
what's going on in the community. Uh, it was really fun,
you know. And and Tommy is such an expert in
living soil as well as he knows his mushies. So
just being able to talk to him and people come
in the chat and ask questions. It was really fun.
And then this week if you want to ask questions
about Hash, decided it.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
You.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
I think you should. Definitely, you should definitely come in
nine to ten am Eastern time. Ross the owner and
founder of Hunah Hash. That's h u n Na. So
if you're not from Michigan, you come into town. Check
them out. Tons of great stuff, Hash wraps, the full
melts fire prescuse me, I had.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
I'm curious if he brings them. I'm pretty curious if
he brings that rap. He was talking about it when
was talking to him, So we'll see, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
That'd be a little early, but it would be going
right back to back very early. But no, anyway, no,
great dude, if you want to learn about Hash, come
bring some hash looted questions. They do education alongside with
Smoky solvenists up north with resin rivals coming up. Want
to shout that out. They're always talking about. They do
like hash classes they've done over at the WHO in
a facility. Now they're doing resident rivals, which is like

(05:02):
kind of a cross of like education and competition. So
it's in Maynisty June twenty second and then twenty third,
twenty first and twenty seconds. See I'm always off a
day twenty first and twenty second, Saturday Sunday. Yeah, so
it's Saturday, sunny, same weekends. Forest right nearby, so we
might end up at Forest for a day. Who knows,
but it's kind of the plan. It's possib I almost

(05:27):
loved to Friday to take us today. This was gonna
be like, hey, bro, by the way, I'd be like,
all right, say last whatever. Anyways, so it is today, Yeah,
shout out. And you know, educated education is always surrounded
by us, advocated, you can inspire, and I truly think
every time we talked to Ross, you know, he's inspiring.
When he talked to him, he advocates because he's been
been through some stuff, you know, so we relate to
that love. And he's smart and he's an education Xavier

(05:49):
him is. You know, they're a great team. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
I love the education. I want to give a shout
out to Anthony and the team over at Lights Sky
that helped him pull off the session event in Flint
a couple of weeks ago. That was phenomenal. I didn't
expect us to go to that event. We went down
to the Tigers game and then was like, hey man,
let's let's go check it out. Yeah. I didn't. I
didn't think we were gonna make it, and I'm really

(06:11):
glad we did make it because it was I just
didn't think because I was gonna come back up right.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
I was for he doesn't double back on anything. Hey, Dave,
Like once, if there's not like a circle plan, it
doesn't make sense.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
That's up. I just watched that movie recently. I should
not pronounce your chuck. The guys like the.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Talk about lion Kings. I was like, but I don't
know about lying.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Yeah, lion King it is. It was definitely about lion King.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
It was about you want to see random note, but
I want to see Mofassa the live same.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
We should watch it together and watch it.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
I do the Harvard silence game because I was hitting
the dab, but then it was because of the awkward silence.
It felt weird.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
It did feel weird. I'm like, in my head, I'm like, Dasa,
he's something wrong. Personal prompt. No, but shout out to
that event. That was such a real, really good event. Yeah,
a lot of education. Dude. It was based on education.
That's I want to follow up the resaurant. I was
because it's like education and competition, and I think the
education events are really cool because Groovy was doing it.
I was talking. Groovy was doing the QR codes where
you you would stand it backward code.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Isn't that backwards? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:16):
He kind of he was, and he was filling out
like you were. It was like each brand, each each
each representation, you got to learn about the brand or
something that went along with hash or something like the
processes and you learn stuff and then you would submit
your answer and then if you got so many points,
they had give bags that you would be able to
take based on the points that you got, which I

(07:37):
thought was huge because a lot of events, you go there,
you get the freebies, you talk, you mingle, you smoke,
and you go away like, oh that was sweet. I'm
pretty baked at a good time. Saw some friends this
time is like got pretty baked, got high. But I
also learned, you know, I'm able to learn education, and
I think that I think, like you say, advocates, you
can't explay with us. I think education is huge because
it's so in this industry. There's only a little bit

(07:58):
of education, right that's made it. And the main thing
is like sativa, Indicut, lazy, happy, whatever you know, based
off of that. And I think the more and more
education we pass on to the consumers, to the blood tenders,
especially the buttenders, because it was based for the butt tenders,
the buttenders passed down to the consumers and as the
consumers learn, that's how I think you're gonna turn the
industry into more of like a not the cheapest of
the cheap. Right, you still might want a cheap quality

(08:20):
pre Rold, but you might not want the cheapest.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
So here's the thing. So I understand what you're saying
and like, but the thing I think about events is
what's the point of event? Why do why do all
of these companies go to event Dave? Because eventually they
want to make sales man. Education is it's first for us.
And that's why I love people that come into this podcast.
And it's why I feel like even when you see
these big brands try to make podcasts, why it doesn't
work because it's like they're kind, they're about the culture,

(08:44):
but they're also like trying to make money. Like this
root it from us just trying to talk about the education, right,
And I'm not trying to knock the events, but that's
why I liked Anthony's that event sessions. It's unique because
it was unique in a promoted education, but it was
also optional because I think sometimes when it's like only education,
like what we try to do, you don't get people
because here's the thing. So here's the thing. This is why,

(09:05):
this is why I want to talk about all this
because education doesn't doesn't sell and it's not sexy marketing.
You know what sexy marketing is free oh, freebies, right,
and it works. And it's exactly why even today we
were talking well offline, I won't even say that, but
we were talking to a friend that does events and
events tend to be very similar, and it's because the
method works. If you give customers free samples and product

(09:29):
to try, they will try it again if they like it.
It's very tried and true, right. So I'm not knocking
the events that do so. But what I'm trying to
say is when you're trying to root an event in education,
it's what we learn and what we're doing because we're
actually finally working I think on an event. We're kind
of been talking about snowballing. I think this is a
great idea. So we're, well, well, we're gonna it's gonna

(09:51):
be a next year thing, but it's gonna be big,
so we can promise you that, like we're not gonna
do it tiny. So well, it's big from our hearts.
I don't know if it's gonna be like a big
of to us because what it promotes is so and
this is my point is almost you got to be
sneaky with the education. It's exactly what we're doing. We're
kind of doing it to promote it without saying it right.
It's exactly what they had was what he had to do. Right,

(10:13):
you hied it. You get free ship. Plus there's samples,
so you get free ship. If you want to wait
in line, take a free dab, smoke a joint, take
a wrong cool free shit. You got that customer. But
the education is the the people trying to learn, and
that was specifically for bud tenders. We got to go
kind of see the insight and report on it because
if you're not if you're a bud tender listening or

(10:33):
if you know, a blood tender listens or just a
bout owner should send them to the sessions and tell
them my Canic casts Hell Anthony, I heard about it
on the podcast My Canic Cass because we were working
with Anthony and that's the home.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
He's a good dude, and I just I thought it
was sweet. I loved how engaged you were in the
event trying to get the car code he was. I
was like, dude, I kind of want to go. Man
I I'm exhausted. He's like, I got I want to finish.
I want to hit these events.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
The key is you have to know Dave's always exhausted.
I'm always gonna say he's exhausted. But the thing is
when he's really exhausted, he's like, dude, I gotta go.
That's when he actually exhausted.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
I've learned it level well, no, I've just learned if
I don't give you a little pushback, bro, like just
being real here, we're just groovy dropping truth bomb. But
it's just true, like something you know if you don't
you know, And again I'm I know that's how I am,
and trust me, I know it's not the best trait.
I shouldn't push people if they don't want to. But
that's why I said. All I say is, well, if
you want to go, let me know. I just I
personally just want to keep doing.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
The QR code. It was fun, man, I had a
good time. We didn't leave when I wanted to go, obviously,
but we did well.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
We kept talking people, dude, and then like I honestly, they.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Did have a little cool little section in the back
that was for like speaker.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Wasn't that when we kicked it with Tyler for a
little bit too, session with him for a second and
the I'm trying to I'm mixing up events.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Yeah, you're mixing up events, am I?

Speaker 2 (11:46):
We were just at Flint twice, I guess then, yeah,
because we were there for the other resent rivals.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
But she's like a couple of weeks.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Might have been the same. Okay, okay, that's what we.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Were kicking it. We kicked it with a Pax. I'm
blinking on his name, Oh Parker, Yeah, at Parker. We're
kicking with him for a while at his booth.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
All right, word, I'm mixing up some stuff. But no,
there's a lot of events going on, great events. Just
we want to put our little two cents in on
events and just like that type of stuff because they're
popping off right now. There's the Resin Rivals finals is
next month June twenty first, twenty second.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
We got the weekend before that is the twelfth and
thirteenth of the Freeze event, which is out.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Which Dave learned how to say today is pre He
says that prize still that prey, not prey, but but
shout out to Jameson. It's at Golf Tree Tops golf
resort up in Gaylard, So what they're doing is at
the resort Gaylard, Gay Love. I love up North first off,

(12:47):
and I love gailorcause I mean there since I was
a kid, and Tree Tarps is actually one of the
first places I snowboarded at but great ski Hill during
the winter. But I guess they also have golf and
a bunch of other little activities and stuff. But I
guess I forget what it's rated, some type of something.
I don't golf, so I don't know a three par
rating or something. So yeah, it's gonna be a good event.

(13:09):
June second and the thirteenth. There's actually this little tiny
event in between called Canpab's Birthday, which is like, I
guess an event, no, next month's birthday. Try to think
what other events got going on. Gim and genetics next
month too, I believe.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
So that's the weekend, which it's gonna be tough. Ill
we'll talk about airon that.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
But yeah, there's so much going on right now. And
then also I might take that same weekend just like
a donated gig for a good cause.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
So because there's the fourteenth and it's all that Team fifte.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Shoutout, but shout out to MS. You're on the West
side and it's not as like for us. It's like
a six hour drive. So it's like I always want
to check it out, but like you said, something pops up,
it's hard to fucking Sunday. They seem like about the culture,
and I always want to go and shout out to
that whole team because I respect from us.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Yeah they do. They do far work. Yeah, yeah, I
I wish, and we talked about it today on the call.
I would love to have some more more the sweet
of it's on the East side, you know, or in
this area.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Even thing man, we're talking about events. Michigan is very
based on what you can throw here Detroit events are
similar because they're like Detroit events, that's the cash grab.
You're at it. You're at an event. Yeah, well it's parking,
it's all these other things are limited.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
But people on the west side of that feel like me.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
And when I go to Big Cloud or go into
like the seven ten event or like, honestly, probably how
Gems and Genetics is probably how Rainbow Farms was, dude.
It's just it's more country vibe.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Man.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
This is how it is. It's like when you go
up north, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
Also, Organic Cup that's at the end of June two,
the twenty eighth, and then also I'll announce this. We'll
be at me connect Puff will be doing a live
stream and some un air reporting. We officially no, I'm
announcing that now. And that is the twenty six So yeah,
June's bumping, dude in the more when we.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Keep talking about like wow, yeah, and I know gigs,
and then I mean, this is the birthdays and this
is for a homie. So this isn't even like a
full gig. It's be like a little mini set and
who knows, I may or may not maybe bringing that
sack that resident Rivals or so you don't really know.
There might be some underground hash Jeremy.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Or I love it keeping that you are not cutting
that out.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
I mean I can have the power that is fact ed,
that's facts, but don't do it.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
That's funny. But yeah, so what is this?

Speaker 2 (15:15):
You let me just try here?

Speaker 1 (15:16):
Uh pressure, dude, super happy I found this.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
That tasted good. I was like debating one. I've been
trying to just hash it up and not get too lit,
but like, this is good. I was like, I gotta
try dave stuff under pressure. But so yeah, no, that's events.
That's just literally next month, the end of this month,
it's gonna be crazy, like oh oh, and that is
a perfect segue into next this weekend's event Memorial Day

(15:43):
slash movement, slash dem because of that, because that's what
it'll always be.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
To me.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
But no, So, if you ever been electronic music vessel,
but when I would say probably the most one of
the most amount technic festivals, most renowned techno festivals in
the world, Ye yes, and I put the hands down. Uh,
if you're extremely into like techno house and all that
underground like og type of electronic music, it's a great

(16:14):
place to be you get acid house you get? I mean,
I could you just get a bunch of house music
like you really do. They used to have more dove step,
and they used to have a little more d MB
jungle d B, which kills me. Still don't get much
of it anymore. That's my ship. I want some. But
it's true, great, great festival, you know. But the reason

(16:35):
why we bring this up today is because they started
incorporating cannabis. So was it last year two years ago?
I know last year for sure, but was it two
years ago? They started years? All right, maybe a few
years so Jars or whatever, So maybe it's a few years,
but I just remember the past one or two. But
Jars started collabbing with Movement and they've always been down
there kind of like doing their thing, giving out shit,
blah blah blah. Now it's cool about this year, I

(16:56):
don't know, maybe maybe cool. No, No, that's cool, it's cool.
I was gonna try to go with more unique word,
but they are calling coming up with something called the Trap,
which is gonna be like an on site dispo.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Yeah, it looks like it's right off to the side
of movement. And then it's so if you want to
check it out if you're going down there. It's open
from noon to ten pm and it's at one five
to four West Larne Street, Learn Street.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
I mean, it's it's EOC signs. I'm sure. I don't
really know exactly.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
I think it's sweet that they're got this approved by
the mayor, the cra and everybody. Like you're like, oh,
I mean, but.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
It's good for the city. It brings income in. You're
promoting safety. You're promoting safety, you're promoting cannabis. You know. Sure,
I'm sure every dispo is gonna hate you, because, like
I remember, usually what you do is you get a
bunch of running ads people just driving the trucks. I
saw other dispos might hate You're competent, but you, I mean,
think about it. I unfortunately like it because now you're
not promoting a bunch of people and they get fucked

(17:55):
up getting their cars if they want to get some weed.
So then my second this is like you I mean,
because if someone starts to drink or takes a little
good but it takes a little bit of ship, you
know what I mean, like parties a little hard, you know,
it's it's movement. And then all of a sudden, like shit,
though I don't gotten a weed. It's like, now you're
risking your whole ship. I don't know, I don't know.
I guess I like I said, what I'm trying to
say that I like the convenience of it. I like

(18:16):
the convenience of it. So we're most dispose man. I
like the convenience of it, that's all, you know. But
I do feel like it's a little I was.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Talking, you can't really go after movements what I was
getting it. You can't get it after me.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Yeah, you can't get weed anywhere after ten though, I mean.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
You could probably find something Detroit.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Dude, I'm talking about a shop here.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
Yeah, and you're good done.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
If you really want drugs, you can find drugs. That's
what are we talking about right now?

Speaker 1 (18:43):
You know?

Speaker 2 (18:43):
People, So you know, like I do, I've heard I've
heard this. No, So, like I said, I'm kind of split,
you know what I mean. I like the idea that
it's convenient for the people to promote safety, but also
like I feel like competition is gonna be like.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
The fuck, Like you know, I agree, So I feel like,
you know, but it's the first of it's kind to
be able to do like the pop up I believe.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Yeah, I mean people are still gonna be picking up
on the way. Most people are just gonna pick up
on the way anyways, So it's not like they're they're
just gonna get that's yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like
people who go to party plan their party out. They
get hotels, they bring the weed, they bring the party favors,
the drinks, all the crab right, A lot of that
stuff's planned. But you're gonna get those people who like

(19:28):
last minute send it. Oh shit, we didn't get any weed.
Oh shit, this we right here when check it out,
Like it's all of that type of stuff where I
mean I can't or more importantly, the people not from
this country or not from the state, because techno drives
a lot in the national crowd. Man, there's a lot
of people from like Germany and France. There's a lot
of European people here in town during this time. So

(19:49):
the convenience of that, especially when you don't unt a car.
That's why I say, I keep going back to this
convenience for the people, because that's really all I thought
it was about, you know, I really you know, because
movement is a wild weekend. And if you've been there,
you know, you know, I've had probably some of the
most wild times of my life in that little, tiny block.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
It's always a good time.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
It's it's usually a good time. No for me, it's
usually good time. I've just parted a little two art
sometimes and I ended up being like, whoa where am I?

Speaker 1 (20:20):
Movement?

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Am I laying on the street? Anyways, that's a true story.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
It's a wild story.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Anyways. No, that's that's the whole weekend. Just make sure
your plugs, oh Jude facts, Yeah, no, and drink water.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Be safe. Actually the weather doesn't be safe. You know.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Weeds smoke the weeds. Just be smart and enjoy the music.
The music is great. It's a lot of fun. There's
some really great production teams. I know, it's a bunch
of good after movies. But anyways, that's a side tangent movement.
But interesting to see them bringing cannabis in like fully though,
you know, yeah with the shop right outside. Yeah man, well,

(21:08):
especially for the drag tie. They're basically calling it probably
like the movement shop. I'm sure movement is getting a
cut like pack shower. Ain't like Oh yeah, we'll do
that for free, like Tampa's hands, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Yeah, they uh, and they're still gonna have the booth
or their VIP booth that they have right in near
Watergate too, where they'll still be doing stuff there.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Yeah, I mean they did. They whoever whoever does business
with jars knew the right people to make this happen.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Oh yeah, this is the mayor. They talked with the
cr you think about it, so you need to talk
to everybody, and they got approved.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Wild that's good man, that you need to see more
of this.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
It's like how how sad Dank does arts, beats and
eats where they did that whole corner.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
They normalize and Susie, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
And that's what that's what That's all I'm asking for.
I just that's what I want. It is it because
overall that create change and then hopefully they see this
and like ship, why don't we open it up conceptionalized?
You know, I just want people.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
We're getting that talk deeper because I want the bench
this later about. But I think people don't understand and
people still associate cannabis with like heavy drugs when it
should be associated with like tobacco, like it mildly messes
you up, kind of like like yeah, and I know
everyone who smokes it there first few times like oh
so crazy and you have a key smoking it goes away,
you know. I mean that's like like I don't know anyways,

(22:29):
just it's so it's it's just more mild than people
want to like. It's just that all that uh bad
association with him.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Man, So.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Which article did you want to talk about? Because there
are a couple of things. These are both not at
the state. We just want to start at home, especially
because that's this weekend type with events.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
But I I just yeah, and be safe as holiday
weekend shout there.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
I guess we'll started the breaking because this is kind
of quick and kind of like I don't want to
say funny by any means, but it's just kind of
interesting to see Woody Harrelson. Like I didn't even know
he owned a dispo. I knew he was in weed,
but I didn't know he had a dispo. Yeah, so
he has his own butt or something too.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
I don't know if he had his own, but he
probably does though he's got disp but he's probably got
his own butt, but it got broken into you know,
this happens everywhere like we have Yeah, although money's locked up,
so you're really just grabbing product at that point. I mean, like,
I don't know, dude, I think it's such.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
A do this everywhere for anything that's valuable, and you
gotta understand it's because it's and honestly, like for me,
maybe I'm wrong, but I also feel like because it's
Woody Harrelson's shop, someone's like, we're gonna run, We're gonna
go fuck Woody Harrelson's shop. Like I think it's like
you're like, you know what I mean, Like, right, I

(23:40):
don't know, you get more news like has me Like,
I don't know, mayn I'm just thinking these people are egotistical.
But yeah, maybe or you assume he has more money
because he has money, right, I guess what I'm trying
to say is he's a figure, so you assume this
is more of a better shop you'd hit with more money.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
I feel like that would be I don't know to
me that I'm thinking, like, wouldn't the cops go hard
because you just hit Woody Harrelson shop compared to fucking
this other person's shop because well, I mean would be
up there and asked like yo, I I you know,
hit the high profile. I think it'd be more of
a high profile case because of his I think any
disco is going to get news articles.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
I'm just saying that. I think because maybe why they
hit it is thinking that because it's maybe Woody Harrelson's shop,
that maybe there's more valuable ship.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
You're right, You're right. We guess what in woods we
ho we ho and sant Well, it's on Santa Monica Boulevard.
So it's not like not cheap, no, no, damn it.
Hold on, it's expensive. It is not too much of
that double negative talk. So I don't know. That's just
you know, nothing's called or anything, but it's it's it's

(24:49):
eight thousand square foot. So also picture that pretty big, Yeah,
pretty big for sure, probably holds a lot of stuff
on site.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Yeah it sucks because I don't think, like can that
product even be insured? Right right exactly, so then like
you lose all that. That's why I think it's so
I hate that ship. It happens whoever it happens to,
because it happens here in Michigan all time, especially in Detroit.
Happened what was it jazz club that's been broken into
like three times?

Speaker 2 (25:20):
I would say, was that multiple times? Yeah, you're like, what, Well,
Santa Monica is not like a.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Like a.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
Unpopular neighborhood, you know what I mean? Like, didn't that
right down down in the art of it.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
I'm not familiar with it.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
But yeah, it's rich, That's what I'm saying. Like I
feel like I can't believe no cops have time over there.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
And get more more people looking for you for doing
that than the different shop. You know what I'm saying, Yeah,
you're dead. Also it's a big shop though, so you're
probably right. They probably got a decent lick. But also
it maybe ain't worth it in my opinion, I don't
know money, you're not really getting money. What are you
gonna do is sell the wheel?

Speaker 2 (26:02):
Like yeah, and they gotta do. You gotta rob someone
to do more work. Yes, what he's like, go worry
for the money with the money.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Ain't gonna be there's gonna be locked up there.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
I know, I know, But you're also bringing the logic
to people who are robbing stores. So I don't know
to tell you, man, that's pretty due pretty much just
like robbing the store for money, like and they're I mean,
it's easier than having to go work for all that money.
I mean, how much pro I think about? I mean,
they're probably at least getting thousands of dollars worth of shit, right,
don't you think I don't know the markets?

Speaker 1 (26:33):
I don't know. I think I would just think if
even if you do it.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Here, like, but it's all straight profit too. You understand
it's a robbery, Dave. It's not like there's no I get.
They buy a gag a pound, and even if it's
only eight hundred dollars, it's still eight hundred dollars, like
you know what I mean. Times I don't know eight
thousand square feet, like I don't know what they got.
That's the only bummer about the article. They didn't really
get into what they guy because they probably don't even
disclose that, or they haven't disclosed that.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Yeah, whatever, give me the next article before I before
I got more. Before I give more people like.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Trying to give you ideas. No one's gonna do any
more about it, Like it was not not familiar with
my cantic guests or anything, uh support. So anyways, Delaware
and Delaware you've been able to order hemp drinks. And
I swear we talked about this another state.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
It was Minnesota, I think it was, that's what.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Okay, it wasn't Delaware.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
That was my Was that Delaware? Because I think we
did it, talked about it with I g Handle, I
am Jess just as human.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Oh yeah, that's right, that's right.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
She she said she was drinking there. And then I
think we talked that we knew another brand out there
that was getting placed out there, and then they mentioned it.
So we've heard it multiple times, but not Delaware. We
have not specifically talked about Delaware.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
I don't often talk about Delaware. No me either, like
Delaware conversations like ever, like this might be the second
time I've talked about you know, Sin's fifth grade and
shoutout Miskowski. I had to learn all fifty states to
get like some little thing on the board. You're like, what,
so I don't know fifth grade we talk at Delaware. No,

(28:10):
it wasn't a song. We had to like memorize each
state what it looked like. I was in fifth grade, dude,
that was the thing back then. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
I get it now.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
To be honest, he's like the topology or whatever mathologies.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
I mathologists like turpologist.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
I'm a stupid man.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
I don't know if it's called the map.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
AnyWho Delaware this new bill I came. I came with
this guy. No, no, okay. So essentially in Delaware you've
been able to buy drinks at the bar like uh,
but THC drinks at the bar's like no ship bros,

(28:55):
fucking nuns, but no for real. So essentially this house
bill is trying to limit these beverages and get rid
of this whole market and get rid of it. But
that it seems like the house spill ninety eight is
this new thing they're trying to create. Is that they're
trying to create it right now where this gray area
of TC and fuse beverages they can actually sell at

(29:16):
the bar exist, which I'm not exactly sure what the
gray area is. It's probably just the wording, you know
what I mean, Yeah, but they're calling it. It would
also require consumable HEMP products, which is like mainly babes
and edible products like gummies and stuff, only to be
sold in retail store. So it's just like they're trying
to like rework things so teams, things seem Delaware seem
kind of messed up. I wish I did a little

(29:38):
bit more research on it specifically because you.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
Know, yeah, because it's only supposed to contain like zero
point three percent too.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
That's what I was going to say, is like I
think everything's hemp based. That's what I want. I don't
want to confirm that, but how they worded it almost
sounds like hemp based in Delaware. That it's not like
it's regulated TACs that they got away with having these
drinks that they could drink them.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
So yeah, so they had here's a couple of key
points that they had. It is from the Delaware online
Like that pretty simple. A Delaware bill aims to restrict
the sale of THHC and fuse beverages to package stores,
removing them from bars and restaurants. The bill intends to
regulate these beverages under the three tier Alcohol Supply Chain

(30:20):
for Public Safety, which I'm not familiar with, and the
THHC and fused beverages with subject to testing before distribution
to ensure product safety. Okay, And the legislation also addresses
the sale of other consumable products like vap and edibles,
restricting them to future marijuana retail stores.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
So interesting that they're that they would be getting rid
of them. But it's also I believe.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Arizona is just interesting. Happened to be with Arizona just
got rid of drinks as well too, just at the bar.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Thing threw me off.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
No, I know, right, right, right right, No, No, I know.
I think that's cool that they had him at the
bar like that, because I get.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
It they can normalize. I think you'rec that's way easier
than getting it by and maybe that's exactly the issue is.
They were just trying to squeeze it in. Now the
next step is getting it in there.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Yeah, I'm curious about what keeps happening, because I believe
it said it was a five billion dollar market to
drinks last year. I think it was reading could be
running at three billion, sorry global market three billion.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
They're still very new, correct, Yeah, Delaware is like nothing's
being done.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
No, I'm talking about in general drinks three billion dollars
in like sales globally, like infused drinks. That's what I meant. So,
like I was just talking saying that drinks are taking
off like.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
Over there especially. Yeah, No, I just you know, I
don't know. I remember we talked about it like Delaware
being like legal. I just thought that maybe that's how
they were getting away with it at the bars as
they where they were doing something like hemp and kind
of you know, getting that gray area around. I think
that's what it seemed like to a little bit.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
So I don't know.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
And also if they just started. When I looked it up,
it says twenty twenty three is when they went illegal.
So it's like, dude, that's still really new. That's our
two thousand, like right now, they're in our twenty ten.
You know what I mean of legislation they do they
go medical to s went straight legal that I don't recall,
but I just you know, they they adult use.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
So adult use twenty twenty three. Yeah, that's really new. Really, Yeah,
that's yeah. I guess you could depending on the two days. Yeah,
because if almost they had medical even then you do legal.
It's still us in twenty nineteen that we were still
playing one hundred and fifteen dollars a grand for rosin
one hundred and twenty Back in like nineteen early.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Twenty then buy a lot of rosin back then.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
Because there wasn't much. I remember, we would see it
on the.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Market and then you're like, well, and I didn't understand
the difference yet either.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
True.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
I think you'd see dog Man out there with like
some solvent list tche or like stuff like that, or
some dude that I followed a couple people, the jeweler,
the jewel or whatever. He had some fire diamonds. They
were actually linked up and got him for you do
you got trouble? I don't know. Back then it was
a different game. It was a different game, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
It's crazy how much Rozin's taken off. I think it
popped off like twenty two.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
The thing about concentrates are is to that crowd when
you're talking a lot of hashheads, a lot of those
people like the idea of organic and natural. So I
think that worked. But people have to understand solvents aren't
bad if they're a good company doing putting good product
in and doing it right. Are solvents out there? Songs?
Why we support Cannoby because Scottie and the team do

(33:27):
great things. Right off top of my head, I still
like true norse stuff. I never not like that GMO,
you know. I just think the issue is it's just
like just everyone started putting bullshit into it and just
blasting everything because oh, we just got to make the money, right,
it's even right now, it's even right now, yeah, exactly CRC.
And then so people starting to put real bullshitting because

(33:48):
you could just fake the color.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
Right.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
But so the issue is that people were taking advantage
of systems and now they got a bad rap. And
that's kind of my thing, even with rosin right now,
and now everyone's going Rosin's perfect. Well, now you're getting
bullshit rosin in the market because people are like, how
cheap can we make it and call it rosin? Yeah,
so it's double headed.

Speaker 1 (34:08):
Yeah, and y'all have it has to come from quality
grown flower and your quality quality rosin. You know, that's
the key always you get you have. If you have bad,
bad product, you're not going to turn it into something
that's phenomenal.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
You know.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
That goes even for salve solventless and solvents, like you're
not you make it good, It's not gonna be phenomenal, right,
you can't turn it like what you were saying, So
I just agree with you.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
There you go, Well, Dave agrees with me. Here, you
heard it first, some type of epic sample. Every time
Dave agrees me, you'll hear it once a month. I'm dispssive, man,
I'm gonna yeah, you gotta cut that now, man. No,

(34:51):
and actually I do. I've been starting to cut up
new samples, so I'm excited I have some other samples,
especially because I already had some from that groovy days.
I gotta get some for you. That's what We'll have
to talk about that later. But anyway, we'll talk about
that later.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
Big things popping over here at the can of cass.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
Not depressed things popping.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
More espresso, last depresso, Yeah, more espresso, less depresso.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
No, man, hey man, yes, at least I know it's good.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
It's good.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
I got to channel it. Uh, life is full upstowns.
You can't control it. You have to just be in
control what you can be in control, and when the
things that are not, you just got to accept, learn
to accept and love your self. Love focused on no hate.
You know you get tired, everyone gets stressed. You're gonna
have bad days. I don't mean that, but just get
rid of hate. In your heart, like I really, because
I had so much for so long. Man, I appreciate

(35:45):
this whole podcast too, just not to get a savvy
second here, groovy savvy second, but seriously, you know it's
appreciative because no, I mean, it's hard, and I appreciate
everyone out there and struggles with mental health because you know,
just show up every day, whether that's showing up for
your kids, showing up for your pets, showing up for
your parents, showing up for work, showing up for your
fucking self. It's hard, you know, because sometimes, at least

(36:09):
for me, it was so easy to ignore a lot
of like real things, right, So it's easy to do
that in the daily life. So you got to take
care of yourself, you know. You gotta treat things with love.
You gotta treat things, you know, don't abuse things, you know.
But anyways, we have one more article, so I just
want to say, love myself. That's w I message everyone learned.

(36:32):
And if you can't learn to love yourself, as professional help,
you can talk to someone, you can talk to us friends.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
I'm even made a post mental health for anybody.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Especially for I mean, I don't want to say especially
for men. That's not my right phrasing I want to say,
especially talking to my men out there, because it's not
always direct towards men's mental health. And that's why I
loved Eddie from Apex who shouted that out, because you know,
I'm That's what I can help with because that's what
I've struggled with and that's what I'm working on, right,
So that's that's what you can focus on.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
And so I agree.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Man, So I just think it's something that's not talked
about that now now it's becoming a hot topic.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
But yeah, that's why, like I said in my video,
all my dms are open, honestly talk I'm here. I
had some people reach out, which was nice. I appreciate
everyone that reached out to me on all the channels
that it posted on, So thank you. I appreciate the
kind of words, comments, messages. But yeah, seriously, it needs yeah, no, no, no,
it's nice. It's it is very nice to see that.

(37:29):
Sometimes you're like, WHOA, appreciate the love, but focus on yourself,
like you said, man, like you know, and be there
and enjoyed life. You got one life. Enjoy it. You
don't know what happens after no what he does.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Yeah, so absolutely, man, so absolutely, man, absolutely.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
But now we'll go to our next article.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
So this is this is the reason why I kind
of got it tabby second for a second is because
this one I don't even know if I made a
necessarily heading for I mean, I can in a second,
but this is just kind of an open discussion and
we've talked about it many time. So that's why I
was kind of transitioning just talking because this whole we've
talked about this a million times. Entourage fact, the entrage effect.

(38:09):
We've you know, when we had Jamie Lowell on, he
was like, hey, it's not it's ensemble effect. Right.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
I tried to take that word out of my head
because I kept saying it forever, uh, the enble effect.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
But so, and then we came across this article also,
but we've.

Speaker 1 (38:30):
Also heard about talk about the community too, you know
as well.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
No, no, no, no, why I was saying the article
kind of sparked this. I wasn't done. I was kind
of no, you're good, You're you're fine. Man, I who
am I gonna say? How dare you to me? It's
I'm changing now, I'm a different. Listen, you guys see
groovy on the public, You're gonna feel a whole different
energy from me. But he's got people who see me
in the past. Well that too. That's been the past

(38:55):
couple of weeks, I've been feeling more like myself, right,
but I'm saying the past couple of months, it's been
you know anyways, So so add right now just be
all over the place.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
See.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
So the whole thing about this article that sparked this
because we've talked about a rage effect a bunch of times.
So we didn't want to just talk about entrage effect, right,
just to keep talking about andre effect because I'm not
because the whole point of us to bring it up
was never to be like this is fact. This is
just something we see to be true based on our
life experience. Right. This is like when you talk to

(39:27):
someone about God or something, right, they say, believe it
to be true. It works for them, you know, Okay, Right,
I'm learning this more than ever live and let live right,
shake your mouth. But so for that, for this entrage effect,
it's one of those things that has never really been
grounded in the science right the way THC does. Because

(39:50):
it affects you with your mind, same thing with CBD
that you know obviously can heal into all these things,
you know, And there are little articles that show terpens
can like you know, help with things. They do help
with the elements. I think there's got This is what
I find to be true because this is where you
see little studies, but you don't see like these big
studies that like, you know, mercine directly affects something, right,

(40:11):
X doesn't directly affect why. I mean, that's why sometimes
I feel like you lose that. So this article says,
is marijuana's entourage fact a real thing? Or marketing hype?
So that's what we want to talk about today, real
or marketing hype.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
It's it's fun It is funny, not funny, but interesting
because they did a study I.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Think marketing hype. I should say, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
Yeah, they did a study on this, uh and but
I think it was Italy, it's not in the article,
and they didn't test it on active cannabinoids, right, And
they prove that there's no science to prove the theory
that the entourage fact is real.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
Well, science takes experimentation, it takes proving, you know, ax
e goes why because of this pots is right, it's
a very specific up.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
Right here, So I just want to get the Englis
saying may actually closed it outst So it took a second.
Initially coined by scientists in Israel and Italy in the
study published in nineteen ninety eight, the term onourage effect
described interactions among endo genious cannabinoids THHC, and CBD like
molecules produced by the human body. The idea was that

(41:22):
some of these compounds, which are inactive on their own,
could enhance or modulate the activity of others, resulting in
combined effects greater than the sum of their parts. It
is important to note that the study did not exa
did not examine plant drive cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant,
but rather structurally related compounds produced naturally in the brain
and body. As such, the idea of cannabis specific entourage

(41:44):
effects did not emerge directly from the data itself, but
from a broader Oh my god, the broader inferences drawn
from the research that provided a rationale for the diverse
effects often reported by cannabis users. So really, they didn't
really tie, they didn't touch.

Speaker 2 (42:01):
So the interesting thing about the article that sparked this
is by the end of it, you know, shout out
to marijuana women. Great people are great article people. I
love their information. Although I do feel the issue with
this too is that it comes down to a couple
of things to me, and this is why I can't.
That's why I get a little uh split, right, because

(42:24):
of what I'm saying versus because like I like the
entorage fact. I like it because when I smoke certain terms,
I when I trust my nose right, the nose nose right.
I always believe in that because when I smoke smell
some button, I feel like that it hits me in
a different way. Right. But there is a psychological compound too,
just how your brain perceives TC and all the compounds
in cannabis. So that also could be kind of like

(42:44):
a not false belief. But what does that call when
it's when you believe to be true and it is true? Right? Oh,
I know it doesn't matter. There's a term for it.
And I'm sure someone's gonna put in the chap back dummy,
please do no hand, that's hilarious.

Speaker 1 (43:05):
I appreciate the five start too.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
No, But the reason like why I'm split is because
I do find these things to be true. And also
I don't just believe in things because there's not science
behind them, right. You know, I'm not necessarily a religious man.
I mean I was when I was younger, right, kind
of lost anyways, we're not even getting all that but
and then making my peace with it now all of it.

(43:27):
But the thing is, it's like, if you experience it,
isn't that true, right, And so this is my issue,
right that I know there hasn't been like there hasn't
been those experiments, that scientific evidence, but there isn't that
much even being done about cannabis yet, especially at high levels.
So when you start saying, oh nitpicking, oh well there's

(43:48):
not research yet, but like, okay, that's like saying, well
we've been saying about cannabis though you gotta believe, right,
But that's why you see you see, you see why
it's frustrating though because of that, because the same people
who were like, oh no, you just got to believe
it's awesome and are also being like, well, there's no
evidence for terps though it's called TC. Okay, okaykay, well
you gotta you know, you got I mean, the science

(44:11):
may not be there and maybe needs to catch up,
and that's kind of what I'm hoping, you know, And
I I just I do obviously know that TC and
CBD play a big factor, but there are tons of
other caninoids in the plant. So as more research comes,
I think some of these other things will become nogs.
We're gonna learn more. Sorry for the ran no, I agree.

Speaker 1 (44:29):
I just want to so the whole quote about that
whole test study, the crazy thing that like they're gonna
say that, oh you know, there is no aunthoge effect
is based off of a study that did not even
test cannabis or THC or cbd, right and only focus
on the bodies our own body of compounds and not
even the plant drive one. So right there alone, to me,
it's like, like, okay, cool, you could do that test,

(44:50):
but that's not proven anything with cannabis in the body.
You know what I'm saying. It's that's what I'm saying.
I kind of agree with you. I personally think the
anthoge effect when I have certain when there's certain turpenes
TAC percentage, you know, you got some CBD in there,
maybe a little bit of CBG, a little you know,
all these little different cannabinoids. Yeah, it just it just
hits right. Sometimes there's certain strains that differently, there's people

(45:13):
that like the strains for the crones or you know.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
Yeah, all I mean that that's my big thing and
this is the issue. This So this is why I
say it's a very split streak for me because like
I do believe in the science, and I do, but
I do think there are certain things that maybe in
this world we don't understand. And that's what I'm learning
to accept.

Speaker 1 (45:32):
Right.

Speaker 2 (45:33):
That's been a little bit, you know, when I was
a little bit more closed minded or just not not
even closed minded, just not willing to see right certain
things that maybe it's just bigger than my understanding and
I and we're just not that the science needs to
catch up yet now true Now which is gonna come?
Which is gonna come? Well, it's coming, you know what
I mean. So either way, we're all gonna find out.

(45:54):
Am I wrong? Am I wrong? I don't care, I'll say, hey,
I was wrong whatever, I'm still learning. Right, it's exactly
what I'm now. If you stay stubborn and do what
I did with my personal life and just thought, oh
I'm never gonna change because I'm gonna be hypocrite. You'll
never fucking change. That's not good, man. Change. Life is
about evolving. Man. In the past two months, I've done
more growth than I probably have in the past ten

(46:16):
fucking years, you know what I mean. So sometimes time
is relative. And that's what I'm trying to say is
like we all think, oh, well there's been no evidence. Okay, well,
like maybe you do more evidence. I mean, I don't
know if there's evidence that LSD will you know. Now
they're starting to gain LSD because they're doing experience with people.
But over the years, it's oh, it's horrible for you.
I member, if I brought up acid five years ago

(46:37):
to my mom, she would pick, oh my god, oh
my god, you've done You've done acid. It's like what
but but no. My whole point is there's a misunderstanding
to these things. Now, with anything can come abuse and misunderstanding. Right,
That's why LSD maybe why it wasn't the best reach

(46:58):
there when we're talking about terms, but turpenes, I just
don't think maybe they have as big of an effect
as TC, right, But it's like, you know, I think
the best way.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
I don't even just tastes fucking good. It's not just
because the THCHC.

Speaker 2 (47:17):
It's because of the terps. No, No, that's not what
they're stating. They're stating that terps have like benefits to
it or what the science behind it affecting you is.
That's what they're talking about. Because turpens are associated taste.
That's a fact. No one's gonna deny that. That's the
thing about the scientific community. They're only saying this is fact.

Speaker 1 (47:32):
This is that.

Speaker 2 (47:33):
But then when you people start talking about flavonoids and
all these other things, I just find it to be true.
Like when I smoke a citrus strain, like nine times
out of ten, that's gonna smack me in the head, man,
I don't know why. I just get more whoe and again.
So we'll see how it goes. We're gonna see how
this science goes and see what the evidence comes up,

(47:53):
because it's gonna take years and different sciences do different
experiments and to and just honestly, just that's it. You
know what else can we do?

Speaker 1 (48:07):
Yeah? No, No, I agreement in time. And now that
more states agating legal we know more states are putting
money towards research, and when that starts to happen. There's
all these studies will start going on, and I'm curious.
I'm curious what else they're fine within the place.

Speaker 2 (48:19):
I'm just I just because the thing about this too
is also how do you do a focus study? Right?
So that's what I'm very intrigued to see because I
feel like you'd have to smoke, you know, find strange,
very high turping strengths in them and push them in
against each other and do different test studies with different subjects.
And it's gonna take some time, like it's not you know,
it's gonna be a lot of observe and then check

(48:40):
vitals and flicking things like. It's gonna be tough. So
I'm excited.

Speaker 1 (48:44):
I agree, I agreement the test studies. I'll jump in,
I'll get.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
Ah, yeah, he Dave's hilarious. No, no, are you serious?
Dave doesn't even like smoking weed. You know, if I
give David joint where it's like not David Provi's like,
So it's like, you're gonna be a test study where
someone's gonna you need to smoke. Miss you're doing dog
That ain't that goo good?

Speaker 1 (49:11):
That's no.

Speaker 2 (49:12):
But yeah, thanks for tuning in with us everybody. Uh yeah,
yeah again. Movement Weekend is going on this weekend. That's

the festival even starts.

Speaker 2 (49:40):

usually the spot to be, at least it used to
be Russell. Well I'm sorry now it was. It used
to be like birds Warehouse and ship. But and yeah,
but the works, oh god, the works days. I know.

Speaker 1 (49:59):
I drove by it today.

Speaker 2 (50:01):
It's a lot office the memories right there. Whoa wild man?
But just yeah, be safe, have fun. Yeah, I'm trying
to think of it. I didn't think there's any cannabis

Speaker 1 (51:03):
I can figure it out.

Speaker 2 (51:04):
I'll I add events.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
I like that idea though.

Speaker 2 (51:05):
It's a genius, So we'll eventually we'll be putting into
a calendar. It would be good to get to the
