Our “Album You Must Hear Before You Die” is Pet Sounds, by The Beach Boys (1966). Long revered by musicians including The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, this album is a masterpiece of production and innovation.
This month, we farewell Graham Webb, an Australian pioneer of music videos – and Blind Date! We also say goodbye to Ignatius Jones, of Jimmy and the Boys, and Steve Albini, producer of The Pixies, PJ Harvey and Nirvana. Vale!
