Player controlled avatars using a piece of tecnnology called nerve gear, allows the player to fully immorse themselves into the world of reality. Unfortunately, this game turns deadly when players find themselves trapped in a death game where the only way out is to win. Kirito, a solo player known as a beater (Beta Cheater), must mustard the courage along side a select few to either team up for survival or solo the game.
