(01:45):
the best list.
In this episode we are halfwaythrough our journey through our
top 101 Bible verses.
We'll look at Numbers 49, 50,and 51.
We want to explore these threepowerful scripture passages that
will guide us toward a life ofjoy, hope and strength Psalm

(02:07):
118.24, which calls us torejoice in each day.
Romans 15.13, which reveals Godas the source of overflowing
hope.
And Philippians 4.13, whichpromises strength through Christ
for every circumstance.
Number 49 in our list is Psalm118.24, embracing Each Day as

(02:31):
God's Gift, reading from the NewKing James Version.
This is the day the Lord hasmade.
We will rejoice and be glad init.
The New International Versionreads the Lord has done it this
very day.
Let us rejoice today and beglad.
And the Good News Bible readsthis is the day of the Lord's

(02:52):
victory.
Let us be happy, let uscelebrate.
The Passion Translation readsthis is the very day of the Lord
that brings gladness and joy, filling our hearts with glee.
And the Message version readsthis is the very day God acted.
Let's celebrate and be festive.

(03:12):
And finally, in the clear wordparaphrase, this verse reminds
us that who defeated our enemiesand set us free?
This is His victory.
So let's rejoice and celebrate.
This verse reminds us thatevery day is an opportunity that
God gives us.
Life is a cherished gift.

(03:35):
The breath I just took was agift from God.
Every person on earth is giventhe same amount of time each day
.
It's the great equalizer.
When we wake up, we have adecision to make.
What kind of day will I havetoday?
Or, more significantly, whatwill my disposition and attitude

(03:55):
today be, despite what isthrown at me or what I have to
walk through?
What will I do with my timegiven to me today?
While we can't control whathappens around us in our
environment, nor what happens tous in our personal interactions
, we can make a decision that, whatever happens today, I will

(04:17):
choose to be positive.
I will choose to be a witnessto the Lord that gave me this
day.
I will look for opportunitiesto be a light in a dark world.
I will look for the silverlining.
I will give God glory, even intrying times.
I'll remind myself that thetroubles of this world are a
result of sin and that my God,my Creator, my Redeemer, is with

(04:42):
me in the midst of the day andhe is my hope and salvation.
I will rejoice because God'shand is upon me and I am His.
I will be glad because God hasalready won and I have a blessed
hope in Jesus Christ.
I will rejoice and be gladbecause I know with confidence

(05:04):
that nothing I encounter todaywill change God's love for me,
remove His presence from me, norchange my destiny with Him, nor
change my destiny with Him.
A pastor once shared a powerfulmoment with his son.
After a year of meaningfulconnection, the time came for
each to go to their own home.

(05:24):
During their final momentstogether, the son looked at his
father, half smiling, halfcrying, and couldn't form words.
Finally, he managed to say Dad,can you believe how amazing our
God is.
In that ordinary moment, not ona mountain peak or in a hot air
balloon, they embraced fully, treasuring the present, they

(05:51):
realized the most powerfulmoments aren't always grand
events, but often simpleconversations with loved ones
fully engaged in the moment Godhas created.
Number 50 on our list is Romans15.13, overflowing with Divine
Hope.
Reading from the New King JamesVersion.
Now may the God of hope fillyou with all joy and peace in
believing that you may abound inhope by the power of the Holy

(06:24):
Spirit, that you may abound inhope by the power of the Holy
Spirit In the New InternationalVersion.
And the Good of hope fill youwith all joy and peace by means
of your faith in Him, so thatyour hope will continue to grow
by the power of the Holy Spirit.
And the Passion Translation.

(06:45):
Now may God, the fountain ofhope, fill you to overflowing
with uncontainable joy andperfect peace as you trust in
Him.
And may the power of the HolySpirit continually surround your
life with His superabundanceuntil you radiate with hope.
And finally, in the LivingBible, that God will keep you

(07:08):
happy and full of peace as youbelieve in Him.
Hope how does having this hopethe verse talks about, give us
joy and peace.
God's hope gives us joy becausewe know the future, and the
future is bright.
Soon and very soon, he willreturn to take us to heaven.

(07:29):
With Him, and the troubles ofthis sinful world will be over.
God's hope, his blessed hope, gives us joy because soon, and
very soon, we will be remadeinside and out.
Soon and very soon, we'll bereunited with our loved ones who
have died.
Soon and very soon we will seethe face of Jesus.

(07:50):
God's hope brings confidenceand joy because nothing can
change my destiny, your destinywith God.
How can?
God's hope brings confidenceand joy because nothing can
change my destiny, your destinywith God.
How can God's hope give uspeace?
I don't need to worry.
I don't need to be worriedabout anything, nor anyone.
No one, no power, no thing cansnatch salvation from me or

(08:12):
separate me from my friend andSavior, jesus Christ.
No enemy against me will standin the power of Jesus.
No weapon yielded against mewill be effective, no plan to
harm me will be successful.
I can have peace in God's hopebecause nothing can spiritually
harm me, nor can anything affectmy future with God.

(08:36):
This world is not my home.
I am just passing through.
God's power is on our side.
The Holy Spirit is anever-present help and comfort.
In times of trouble.
We are never alone.
We are never in a desperatesituation.
Never alone.

(08:59):
We are never in a desperatesituation.
We are victors in Christ.
So I can have joy and peace inHis hope.
Number 51 on our list isPhilippians 4.13.
Strengthen for everycircumstance.
Reading from the New King JamesVersion I can do all things
through Christ who strengthensme Version I can do all things
through Christ who strengthensme.
The New International Versionreads I can do all this through

(09:20):
Him who gives me strength.
The Good News Bible reads Ihave the strength to face all
conditions by the power thatChrist gives me.
The Passion Translation readsand I find that the strength of
Christ's explosive power infusesme to conquer every difficulty.
And the message versionWhatever I have, wherever I am,

(09:44):
I can make it through anything.
In the one who makes me who Iam, the Living Bible, for I can
do everything God asks me to dowith the help of Christ who
gives me the strength and thepower.
And finally, in the AmplifiedBible I can do all things which
he has called me to do throughHim who strengthens and empowers

(10:07):
me to fulfill His purpose.
I am self-sufficient inChrist's sufficiency.
I am ready for anything andequal to anything through Him,
who infuses me with innerstrength and confident peace.
Besides John 3.16, this mayperhaps be the most popular
verse in the Bible or certainlyone of the most quoted.

(10:29):
We've addressed verses likethis one before In context.
This verse is, in fact,incredible.
No doubt the Living Bibleparaphrase really gets the
nuance of understanding when itsays For I can do anything God
asks me to do.
In other words, god isempowering us to live a godly

(10:49):
life.
He's not giving us a magicalpotion to go and sin.
God is not going to help yousin, feed selfish desires or do
harmful behavior.
He is strengthening us beyondour human strength to fight
spiritual battles and do thingsthat are difficult in our own
strength, like fight temptationor love the unlovely, or do

(11:12):
without my selfish desires.
Or love the unlovely or dowithout my selfish desires.
God would never ask us to dosomething that was impossible to
do.
So, along with the instruction,he also empowers us.
We are not promised victory inour own strength, but given
victory in the power of JesusChrist.
With this powerful promise, wecan be encouraged that, despite

(11:35):
the storm, god is going to getus through.
In conclusion, these threepassages blend together a
beautiful mosaic of Christianliving.
Psalm 118.24 calls us torecognize and rejoice in each
day as God's intentionalcreation.
Romans 15.13 reveals that theGod who created each day desires

(12:00):
to fill us completely with joy, peace and overflowing hope
through the Holy Spirit's power.
And Philippians 4.13 completesthe picture by promising
Christ's strength for whatevercircumstances each God-made day
may bring.
Together, these verses form apowerful progression.

(12:21):
We acknowledge each day asGod's gift.
We receive His filling of joyand peace as we trust Him, and
we access Christ's strength toface any circumstance with
contentment.
This is the essence ofrejoicing in the day not a
superficial happiness dependenton favorable conditions, but a
deep, abiding joy rooted inrecognizing God's sovereignty

(12:45):
over each day, experiencing Hisindwelling power and resting in
Christ's sufficient strength.
May we live each day in thelight of these transformative
truths.
Friends, in our next episode, divine Wisdom, we will continue
our look at the best of the best88 Bible Scripture passages by

(13:08):
