My top 101 Bible verses.
The total list of verses is notin any particular order, but

(01:26):
the pairings of three for eachepisode loosely tie together by
a theme, but each verse isindependently worth memorizing.
Contact Mighty Moment if you'dlike a copy of my best of the
best list.
In this episode we'll look atnumbers 59, 60, and 61.
On my list of my top 101 Bibleverses.
We'll look at Isaiah 40, 31, 2Corinthians, 12, 9, and 2

(01:53):
Timothy 1, 7.
In our moments of weakness, god's strength shines brightest.
This episode explores threepowerful scriptures that remind
us of the paradoxical nature ofChristian living finding
strength in our own weaknesses, power in our own vulnerability
and courage in our own faith.
Let's delve into God's Word anddiscover how he empowers us in

(02:17):
our most challenging times.
Number 59 on our list is Isaiah40, verse 31,.
Number 59 on our list is Isaiah40, verse 31, soaring on
Eagle's Wings, reading from theNew King James Version but those
who wait on the Lord shallrenew their strength.
They shall mount up with wingslike eagles.

(02:38):
They shall run and not be weary.
They shall walk and not faint.
The New International Versionreads but those who hope in the
Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings likeeagles.
They will run and not growweary.
They will walk and not be faint.
And the New American StandardVersion says Yet those who wait

(02:59):
for the Lord will gain newstrength and they will mount up
with wings like eagles.
They will run and not get tired, and they will walk and not
become weary.
The Passion Translation readsbut those who wait for Yahweh's
grace will experience divinestrength.
They will rise up on soaringwings and fly like eagles, run

(03:21):
their race without growing wearyand walk through life without
giving up.
The Message Version reads theAmplified Bible reads but those

(03:42):
who wait for the Lord, whoexpect, look for and man, I used
to run 5k and 10k races.
I have experienced and otherrunners will attest, especially

(04:10):
marathon participants that youget to a place in the race where
you're totally exhausted andfeel like you cannot go on
anymore, not even one step.
But then you find your secondwind, a boost of energy and
determination that gets youacross the finish line.
Isaiah 40.31 is a promise ofrenewed strength and hope for

(04:31):
those who trust in and wait forthe Lord.
The verse assures that evenwhen people feel exhausted or
overwhelmed, those who placetheir hope in God will find
their strength restored.
They will be able to rise abovechallenges symbolized by
soaring on wings like eagles andcontinue on their journey
without becoming weary or faint.

(04:52):
It's a promise to be sustainedand that you will finish the
race.
The imagery of mounting up withwings like eagles evokes the
idea of being lifted high abovedifficulties, drawing on the
eagle's power and ability tosoar effortlessly.
This renewal is not achievedthrough human effort alone, but

(05:14):
through trusting in God's powerand faithfulness.
Waiting on the Lord here meansactively hoping and expecting
God to act, remembering His pastfaithfulness and relying on Him
rather than on your ownstrength.
Moving on to number 60 in ourlist 2 Corinthians 12.9.

(05:34):
Reading from the New King JamesVersion and he said to me my
grace is sufficient for you, formy strength is made perfect in
weakness, is sufficient for you,for my strength is made perfect
in weakness.
Therefore, most gladly, I willrather boast in my infirmities
that the power of Christ mayrest upon me.
Reading from the Good NewsBible.
But his answer was my grace isall you need, for my power is

(06:00):
greatest when you are weak.
I am most happy then to beproud of my weaknesses in order
to feel the protection ofChrist's power over me and in
the Passion Translation.
But he answered me my grace isalways more than enough for you,
and my power finds its fullexpression through your weakness

(06:22):
.
So I will celebrate myweaknesses, for when I am weak I
sense more deeply the mightypower of Christ living in me.
And the Living Bible reads Eachtime.
He said no, but I am with you.
That is all you need.
My power shows up best in weakpeople.
Now I am glad to boast abouthow weak I am.

(06:45):
I am glad to be a livingdemonstration of Christ's power
instead of showing off my ownpower and abilities.
And lastly, in the AmplifiedBible the verse reads but he

(07:09):
said to me my grace, amplifiedBible.
The verse reads and showsitself most effectively in your
weakness.
Therefore, I will all the moregladly boast in my weaknesses so
that the power of Christ maycompletely enfold me and may
dwell in me.

(07:34):
This verse is a powerful promiseand counters a lie of the devil
.
Satan tries to whisper that youare too bad to be forgiven,
your sins are too grievous, thatyou are unsavable.
This verse clearly states thatGod's grace is sufficient for
you, meaning that, whatever yourpast, that God's forgiveness,
grace and cleansing can and willforgive and cleanse you

(07:58):
completely, no matter the stainof your past.
The Greek phrase is madeperfect, which is used here in
this verse, is in the presenttense, indicating an ongoing
process.
This suggests that God's poweris continually being perfected
or fully expressed through ourweaknesses.

(08:20):
It's an ongoing process.
This verse reveals that God'sunmerited favor is always enough
for us.
His miraculous power finds itsfull expression precisely in our
area of weakness, precisely inour area of weakness.

(08:40):
This encourages us to embraceour limitations as opportunities
for God's strength to shinethrough us.
2 Corinthians 12 9 presents aparadoxical truth central to the
Christian faith God's power isperfected in our weakness, in

(09:01):
our weakness.
Moving on to number 61 on ourlist.
2 Timothy 1.7, overcoming Fearwith God's Empowering Spirit.
Reading from the New King JamesVersion.
For God has not given us aspirit of fear, but of power and
of love and of a sound mind.
The New International Versionreads the New American Standard

(09:26):
Version reads the PassionTranslation reads the Passion
translation reads the Messageversion reads and lastly, in the

(10:01):
Amplified Bible, the versereads For God did not give us a
spirit of timidity or cowardiceor fear, but he has given us a
spirit of power and of love, andof sound judgment and personal
discipline, abilities thatresult in a calm, well-balanced
mind and self-control.
This is one of my all-timefavorite verses.
The verse clearly states thatif we are fearful, it is not God

(10:25):
that is doing it.
God is not the source of fear, but actually the opposite peace
and calm and assurance.
So when I am feeling fearful, worried or anxious, it is the
devil trying to overwhelm me.
What God desires for me is thatI be living in His love and be

(10:47):
empowered to face my problemsthrough His Spirit, and that I
have a calm or peaceful mind.
So when I am feelingoverwhelmed with fear, it really
is a sense of dread that thereis no solution and that I am in
trouble.
Understanding this verse, Istand up to fear and basically
tell it to get lost, because Godis with me and is going to take
care of everything.
I have nothing to fear becauseGod is holding my hand and

(11:12):
leading me through 2 Timothy 1.7offers a powerful antidote to
fear and timidity in theChristian life.
It reminds us that God hasequipped us with His Spirit,
which manifests as power, loveand self-discipline.
In conclusion, as we reflect onIsaiah 40.31, 2 Corinthians 12.9

(11:33):
, and 2 Timothy 1.7, we see abeautiful demonstration of God's
provision for us in our timesof weakness.
These verses remind us that ourmoments of vulnerability are
not obstacles to God's work, butrather opportunities for His
power to shine through us.
In Isaiah, we find the promiseof renewed strength as we wait

(11:57):
on the Lord.
In Paul's letter to theCorinthians, we discover the
paradoxical truth that God'spower is perfected in our
weakness.
And in Timothy we are remindedof the spirit of power, love and
self-discipline that God hasgiven us to overcome fear.
Together, these passages paint apicture of the Christian life

(12:20):
that is both challenging anddeeply encouraging.
They invite us to embrace ourweaknesses, to wait patiently on
God's timing and to step out infaith, knowing that we are
equipped with His Spirit.
As we face life's trials andtribulations, may we remember
that our strength comes not fromour own abilities, but from the

(12:41):
inexhaustible well of God'sgrace.
Let us, then, approach each daywith confidence not in
ourselves, but in the God whorenews our strength, perfects
our power in our weakness andempowers us with His spirit of
love and self-discipline.
Friends, in our next episodeRestoration we will continue our
