Speaker 1 (00:05):
Hey friend, welcome
to Milk and Honey with Lemon.
The Bible says in Numbers 14.8,.
And if the Lord is pleased withus, he will bring us safely
into that land and give it to us.
It is a rich land flowing withmilk and honey.
On this podcast we talk aboutstepping into that overflow that
God has for us by becomingthose ultimate Proverbs 31 women
(00:25):
.
Hey, I'm Lemon.
I am just like you, sisterfriend.
I knew God had something morein store for me, but I couldn't
see a way out of the laundrypiles and, frankly, I resented
that.
Proverbs 31 woman.
How was I going to live up tothe hype?
That is until I found out howto really step into becoming
this Proverbs 31 woman throughleadership development.
In this podcast you're going tofind financial freedom,
(00:48):
leadership, growth andmotivation so you'll be able to
do all the things God has calledyou to do with ease and really
step into that land of milk andhoney.
Welcome back to the Milk andHoney podcast.
I'm your host, lemon Price, andI am really excited to be
recording this episode today.
I feel like I still have totell everyone that I'm still
getting over chlorine cloudcough from the biolab explosion
(01:09):
in Georgia.
So if I sound nasally andthings today.
That is why and I'm so sorryHowever, my good friend,
michelle Schaefer, sent me thistiger's milk mushroom and in
three days it has made a drasticimprovement on my lungs.
So if it also sounds weird, like there's a weird pause or
something, chances are Iprobably am taking a drink and
(01:30):
then trying to cut out some ofthe weirdness.
But it might sound weird today.
I'm just.
I'm sorry, you're gettingrealness from me, and so I
record this episode every yearafter Activate.
This year I took a full weekoff before I recorded.
No one believes me that I'mactually an introvert, because I
have a podcast and I livestream and I speak on stages.
(01:51):
I can do those things, andBobby Schaefer, michelle's
husband and I we were jokingabout the fact that I can do it
because I cheered for 20 years, and so being in front of a crowd
doesn't bother me at all.
I like it.
However, I don't recharge mybatteries in a crowd of people.
So, like this year was reallygrateful.
I stayed alone at our conferenceand everything, so I could get
(02:12):
alone time at night, and Ineeded that.
I think, to be a better personduring the conference.
So I love this conferencebecause it really is Holy Spirit
led, and I'm sure people saythat all the time Like, oh, I go
to this conference, but whereare you mixing business and
Jesus at the same time?
And like you're startingeverything out with worship?
And everything that we do as acommunity is meant to bring you
(02:37):
closer to what it is God has instore for you, right?
So maybe you do need to be abetter speaker, a leader, all
kinds of things is meant for youto go out into the community,
go out and serve people aroundyou in the best way you possibly
can and just do what the giftsand talents God has given you.
And so I always know that theconference is going to be really
(03:00):
good when the enemy triesreally hard to stop it.
So my friend Camille she wassupposed to make a major
announcement at Activate thisyear and Hurricane Milton came
and she was in Tampa, and sothey evacuated because at that
time Milton was a Category 5.
They were talking aboutinventing a Category 6, which is
(03:20):
crazy, talk to me and so sheleft and so she couldn't come to
the conference and so I endedup making this announcement for
her.
But because of the hurricanethis was like so wild.
I got a text from SouthwestTuesday afternoon.
I was supposed to fly out onThursday morning.
Southwest texted me Tuesday andsaid that my airport in
(03:42):
Savannah was on the list to beimpacted by this hurricane and I
should probably change myflight.
And so I spent an hour on andoff back and forth with
Southwest on Tuesday afternoontrying to coordinate with my
husband because of course he'sgot to take me to the airport
and then also coordinating withthe hotel to make sure that I
(04:07):
could even get into the hotel onWednesday instead.
So I ended up flying outWednesday, which honestly was
super peaceful too.
I always fly in the day theconference starts.
I won't do that anymore.
It was really nice to get therethe day before and I just took a
nap and like I went to bed at adecent time and so that was
honestly 10 out of 10.
And I was alone.
(04:28):
Like it was honestly reallynice.
Like I love everybody and Ilove being social, but like it
was really nice to be alone.
And so we started Thursdaynight with worship, which was
beautiful, and it was so.
What was so beautiful too isthis year we had a lot of like
new moms.
Like a lot of new moms, a lotof first-time moms, and so they
brought their babies and so Igot to hold.
(04:50):
It was so beautiful.
I held my friend Ruby's herbabies, especially her son.
She has 20s and if Ruby listensto this, she can tell you
there's pictures all over myFacebook and my Instagram of
Ruby's son.
He fell in love immediately.
He's so beautiful, he's sosweet, and every time he was
(05:11):
staring at me he just had thisbig smile and so I was loving on
him.
And then my friend Nataliebrought her six-week-old to the
conference, which was beautiful.
I got to feed him while she waseating dinner and it was just
really nice to be surrounded bythis next generation and to see
these women right and a lot ofthem brought their husbands too,
which was really cool.
(05:31):
But to see these wives andmothers out here praising Jesus,
thriving in business, butbringing their babies with them,
and I was like you really canhave it all.
And that's the thing I likeabout this, about Kingdom
Alliance.
So that's the other big thing.
So a big announcement is we'verebranded fully to Kingdom
(05:52):
Alliance, which is beautiful.
There's no more necessarilyseparate men's and women's
mentorship communities.
Everybody's operating as one, which is really beautiful.
So there was a lot of big thingsthat happened at that event.
So the first big announcementand I'm going to have all of
these incredible people on thepodcast to talk about it but one
(06:14):
of the incredible announcementswas the Kingdom Wealth Academy
and we have Kingdom WealthFoundation.
So my friend Michelle Tasco isrunning that.
I beta tested it with her overthe summer.
Glenn and I both did and in aspan of 10 weeks we paid off
like $4,000 worth of debt in 10weeks, which is that's a lot,
(06:34):
and we bought a house in 10weeks.
It wasn't even on our radar atthe beginning I've told this
story before but we thought weweren't going to look until
February.
But because we paid off so muchdebt and we freed up so much
room in our finances andeverything, and then the Lord
prompted us to move and so itall happened insanely fast, and
(06:57):
so 10 out of 10 would recommendthat People are fixing their
credit scores drastically.
It's really beautiful what'shappening.
So that actually starts thisweek.
So if you're like I would liketo radically transform my
finances, then shoot me amessage, send me fan mail.
Somebody just did that thisweek and it was really fun.
I love that, so shoot me amessage, send me fan mail,
(07:18):
instagram, facebook, whateverworks for you.
I'm not a picky, weird person,so that was incredible.
We're really excited to bring awealth course in here, and I
personally could do a wholeepisode on how transformational
that was for my husband and I.
Then we also announced and thiswas the announcement Camille
(07:40):
was supposed to make, but I gotto make it which was really
beautiful is we announced theKingdom Author Academy, and so
if you have ever wanted to writea book, this is for you, seven
weeks long.
It starts next week, so whichis I know it's a lot happening.
That starts next week and youwill leave that with two
chapters complete, and I'vetaken that with Camille twice
(08:02):
already and I have one bookalmost completely finished.
I have another book started Iwas going to finish.
It's really funny.
I was going to finish the onebook during the second round of
Kingdom Author Academy withCamille and I couldn't do it.
I sat down to my computer and Italked to text books.
That's the way that I'm goingto write them is I talk to text,
(08:23):
I podcast, so this is justnormal for me.
I wish you could see me talkingwith my hands.
It's very animated and I hopethat comes across when you
listen to me and when peopleread things that I write.
I hope it comes across that waybecause I get really excited
when I talk.
And so I talked to text and Icouldn't get anything out with
this one book and I was like whyam I having such bad writer's
(08:47):
block?
Like I know what I want to say,I know what I'm supposed to get
out, but it wasn't coming out.
And so then I was really justlike sitting in prayer about
this.
I'm like what do you, lord, like?
What do you want me to do, dory?
Like I don't want to wasteseven weeks of my life like
going through this and notproducing anything.
And that's when I got the ideafor this book to talk about
being a human being versus humandoing.
(09:08):
And I haven't necessarily I'llprobably start that again next
week with everybody, justbecause I'm really fleshing that
out and I had a revelation lastnight.
We can dive into that later.
That has nothing to do withthis conference, but it was like
a really interesting revelationthat I had.
So, but anyway.
So we made that announcement, which is incredible.
So now, not only can you becomea speaker, you can become a
(09:31):
co-chair, you can work on yourwealth and you become an author.
So the other big announcementand we have a lot of them.
But we launched a full-blownpublishing house and I wish you
again you could see me.
I'm holding, I have a copy ofthe book in my hand.
So we launched the first book.
(09:53):
It's called Restore my Soul.
It's beautiful, it's got thematte finish on it and so it's
like soft when you touch it.
It's like that buttery softnessand I love it.
But we launched this book.
It's like chicken soup, right, when you think about the chicken
soup books.
But there are these beautifulstories of like deliverance and
redemption and so like thinkchicken soup, but like very
Jesus focused.
So I am the marketing directorof our publishing house, which
(10:13):
is amazing.
So if you've ever wanted topublish a book, you could just
go to ourkingdomalliancecomslash publishing house or it's
right there in the main menu andyou can get on a call and we
can talk about publishing yourbook too, because that's
something we do now.
And the book the very firstbook publishing your book too,
because that's something we donow.
And the book the very first bookhit bestseller for eight
straight days maybe nine I haveto double check but number one
(10:40):
bestseller, multiple categories, and it was really incredible to
share that experience.
We had a lot of the authorsthere.
We did a full book signing.
It was crazy.
We signed books for over anhour and a half, which was just
amazing, and so that was reallyincredible to share with a lot
of these women and, because Iwas the marketing director, I
read every single one of theirstories before they actually hit
the book so I could help themindividually with their
(11:02):
marketing.
And they're so raw, thesestories are so good.
I've known a lot of these womennow for two years and I didn't
actually know them until I readthis story and, of course, I'm
only seeing another fraction oftheir story and who they are.
But it really gave me somedeeper insight and I can look at
this now and I can be like ohman, I'm going through.
(11:24):
Like my friend Brandy, shetalked about her infertility
struggle and adoption, which issomething Glenn and I have
talked extensively about.
We even talked about it todayon our way home from church.
We talked about adoption again, and so I can read this chapter
and find encouragement for thatseason, as it's something Glenn
and I pray about, and if youguys want to be in prayer with
(11:46):
us, that would be really cool.
Obviously, it's a very majordecision in our life and so if
you could be in prayer aboutthat with us, that would be so
great.
And so we launched PublishingHouse with a number one
bestseller, which is amazing.
And then we had what did we havegoing on?
Oh, I think, the biggestannouncement for people, and
this is really Maybe I'll backit up.
(12:08):
I'll tell you like one oneother fun announcement, and then
the big one that everybody'sthe most excited for, I think so
we also, because we certifycoaches.
We dropped three new coursesthat coaches can teach, so one
on networking, one on identity, which I'm very excited to teach,
and then one on relationships.
(12:28):
And I'm like this is incredible, like from experts in the field
who are going to help you, andthen you, as a coach here in our
community, you can take thoseand teach them and get paid for
them.
So it's and it's done for youright, like the whole back
office is done for you.
You don't have to handlecollecting payment, you don't
have to worry about doing any ofthose things.
(12:50):
They provide all the material.
You just get to show up andteach it and like steward what
you've been given.
So I'm excited about that.
But the big thing people areexcited for, especially with the
holidays coming up, is we addeda new savings club and the
savings club is incredible.
So it's only available.
(13:10):
Whether you're a basic or a VIP, you get access to the Savings
Club.
And so with the Savings Club, Ihave an app and I can put in my
I'm literally going to do itwhile I'm recording, so I'm
going to put in my zip code intothe Savings Club and it tells
me and again, I live in ruralGeorgia.
(13:30):
So just in my little rural spotthere's 3,416 deals, just like
for local places to me, which isinsane.
And of course, some of itextends into Pula or it extends
into Savannah or Statesboro, butthose are all like 10 minutes
away.
But like good deals.
(13:50):
I'm talking 20% off every timeyou order a pizza.
I just got 48 cents back onevery gallon of gas I just
bought which listen, gas isexpensive.
And so I'm like, okay, this isgreat.
And then it had like 50% off oftoys at Target and I was like
that's convenient.
50% off Christmas items atTarget.
(14:11):
I was like this is perfect 40%off at Lego.
I have two boys.
I was like this is reallyconvenient.
But then the other big thing soI don't have a Target close by,
I have to go all the way toSavannah, which sounds further
than it is.
It takes me like 40 minutes toget there, which that's really
dramatic of me.
But there's a Walmart 10minutes from my house and they
(14:34):
had 65% off at Walmart, which isagain crazy.
So I was looking I can't saywhy I wanted to get the kids
because they listened to this onYouTube.
But there was something Iwanted to get for the kids for
Christmas YouTube.
But there was something Iwanted to get for the kids for
Christmas and it was almost $400cheaper because of the savings
(14:54):
club.
So that's pretty mind-boggling.
We also added health benefits, which is huge.
So with the health benefits, you and seven members of your
family can do telehealth for $35a visit and it's up to 80% off
of 800 of the most commonprescriptions Crazy.
Then we added a co-op withfarmers.
(15:18):
So I'm like this is amazing.
So now I'm getting 15% off ofmy meat.
I have health benefits, whichis great, because I did not have
health insurance.
Glenn and the kids do, but Idon't because Glenn gets it
through the VA, the kids get itbecause they're kids, and then I
just never do because I don't.
I very rarely get sick either.
So I just don't have healthinsurance, which I'm sure
(15:41):
somebody's going to come at meand tell me that's a really
terrible idea, I'm sure of it.
So, especially because I waslike I had pneumonia, so I'm
like that's fine.
But now I can telehealth it andI'm like this is convenient.
And because I'm so holistic inthings, I want to prevent as
much as humanly possible beforeI ever get to a need where I
(16:03):
have to go to a doctor.
So I'm like this works for me.
And then we're doing somethingwith our savings club called
Rush to Save.
So this is coming out on the21st, so you still have nine
days to do it.
Whoever saves the most it's notlike a raffle or anything, it's
just whoever just point blank, saves the most money.
And we just started it, so it'snot like you're behind.
We only announced it a coupleof days ago.
(16:24):
Whoever saves the most as apart of our savings club,
michelle and Bobby are giving$1,000 cash too.
So not only do you save themost amount of money, but then
you also get $1,000 in cash.
That could be your entireChristmas funded and done and
you saved money.
So I'm pretty excited aboutthat.
(16:44):
What were some other bighighlight-y things?
I feel like some of them werepersonal.
I ended up winning the SpiritAward, which is peer-nominated
and peer-voted on who embracesthe spirit of the company the
best, and somehow I won that, which is incredible.
(17:05):
I'm definitely very gratefuland I said that in my acceptance
speech just how grateful I am.
Just the community and thefamily that is here, this
community has been with methrough, I would say, some of
the toughest things I've gonethrough in the last two and a
half years, and never once havethey passed judgment.
They've just been nothing butinsanely supportive.
So very grateful for that.
(17:27):
And then I also won the Coachof the Year award and that is
just straight data-driven.
I had taught the most amount ofRadiant Leadership Academy and
had graduated the most Radiantleaders, all ICF accredited for
the entire year, which ismind-boggling to me.
So I'm definitely very gratefulfor just that opportunity and
(17:51):
everything that's come from it.
There's been a lot of reallycool things and I can't
necessarily get into like all ofthem.
There's a lot of things I'mworking through with God.
I don't know if I should tellyou about this dream I had.
Maybe I won't, maybe I'll saveit, maybe I'll save it for an
episode.
We'll see what comes out ofnext week's episode.
I'm recording it tomorrow witha very special guest.
Maybe I should tell you, shouldI tell?
(18:13):
Maybe I'll tell Okay.
So tomorrow I am recording withRay Higdon.
I met him at our conference, wehad lunch, we talked, it was
great, and him and I havecontinued to talk for the last
week since we've both been homeand I mean because he's not that
far from me and so tomorrowwe're recording.
(18:33):
So I'm recording this on Sunday.
So by the time you're listeningto this, I will probably be
either recording with Ray orwe've already finished recording
, and so I'm really excited tojust get on and talk to him and
have this conversation, becauseI think it's going to be.
I think it's going to be reallyfun.
So that's what I've been up tofor this whole week.
(18:54):
I know people have been watchingmy Instagram stories and
reaching out, and if I've beenslow, I'm so sorry.
I'm trying to get caught up andget back into the swing of
things.
Like I said, my littleintrovert self struggles.
I'm doing so much better than Iwas last year.
It was hard because we'd donethe speaker certification
leading up to the event and so Idid two days of speaker
(19:18):
training.
That was all day long, I'mtalking, from like 8.30, 9
o'clock in the morning untillike 3, 4 in the afternoon for
two straight days.
And then I was with people andwe were at dinner and I shared a
room with my sweet friend Jen,which was great and I love Jen.
But again, my introvert self,I'm like oh, next year I have to
be alone.
And so then we had the event.
(19:41):
I spoke at the event.
This year I spoke two days in arow at the event and so, but
because I think I had that alonetime and I was like there the
day before, and this year nobodywas on my return flight home,
which also, I think, made adifference, last year there were
people on my return flight homeand so it wasn't even like I
could be alone on my plane, there was people on my flight
back.
(20:02):
So I think me just and again, Idon't want this to come off
terrible right, because I loveeverybody I'm with, but my
introvert brain needs.
I need to protect the alonetime that I do get, and so I'm
recovering a lot better than Iwas last year.
Last year it took me almostthree weeks to get back to my
normal self.
This year it took me like twodays and I was back to normal.
(20:25):
So I feel like we're doing alot better and so, anyway, I'm
excited to just share some otherfun things.
We have a lot going on.
It's been busy since I've beenback and I'm just excited.
Oh, I feel like another funthing.
So I've had people reach outabout Kingdom Alliance since
I've been back, and one of thefun things we did is because
(20:47):
we've rebranded and the websiteis brand new.
Everything is brand new.
There's nothing on here that isold, and so because of that, we
reopened our foundingambassador and so because of
that, we reopened our foundingambassador opportunity, and so
if anybody wants to know whatthat is like, just shoot me a
message.
I'm actually doing a trainingon Tuesday I'll link it in the
(21:08):
show notes for you on how tobecome a founding ambassador and
how you could make an extralike thousand plus dollars
before Christmas, which would behuge for, again, a lot of
people.
It's a fully funded Christmas.
So like, not only could yousave, but you could also earn.
So, co-founder and I are goingto do that training at one
o'clock Eastern on Tuesday.
So, like I said, I will link itin the show notes for you to
(21:32):
come to that.
And I'm just excited because itcomes with some extra perks.
I think you guys will beexcited about it.
If you're like I have abusiness or I'm looking to start
a business, this could be agood opportunity for you.
And you guys know I was veryanti-network marketing before.
I said that actually in my compplan training about how much I
(21:54):
used to hate the industry.
This doesn't feel.
It doesn't feel gross to me.
A we're not copying and pastinganything Like that, just that's
gross to me.
But also like it's ICFaccredited and people are like
going to speak on stages andwe're producing bestsellers and
like our people are going outand doing something with the
skillset that they're learninghere.
(22:15):
So I'm just excited about whatwe're doing.
And yeah, I can't wait for youto hear from Ray next week.
It was really cool because he'sbeen a Christian for only two
years and I know he'll tell thestory, but it's really cool
because he is a relentlessperson, and he said that when he
came to our event is that he ispretty relentless, and so he's
(22:36):
talking about things in Aramaicand Greek and Hebrew and quoting
scripture left and right.
It was really cool to see how, when you have this hunger and
this passion for the Lord, whatcan transpire.
It's like compounded effort, and so, anyway, it was really
cool to see just how his hungerfor the Lord transpired and like
(22:57):
what it's done for him, and soI'm excited to actually have
that conversation.
How does it relate to businessand all those kind of fun things
?
So I hope you guys have anincredible week.
It's going to be a busy rest ofthe year here.
We have a lot of fun topicscoming up, so I hope you just
stick with me and I will see younext week.
Bye friends.
Hey friend, what a joy it hasbeen to share today's journey

wisdom that resonated, would youbless someone else by sharing
this episode with them?
It could be the encouragementthey need to step into their
purpose and calling.
Also, if you could spare amoment to leave a review, it
would mean the world to me.
I really appreciate yourfeedback and it really helps our
(23:41):
community grow.
