Speaker 1 (00:17):
Hey, I'm Lemon.
I am just like you, sisterfriend.
Talk about stepping into thatoverflow that God has for us by
becoming those ultimate Proverbs31 women.
Hey, I'm Lemon.
I am just like you, sisterfriend.
I knew God had something morein store for me, but I couldn't
see a way out of the laundrypiles and, frankly, I resented
that.
Proverbs 31 woman.
How was I going to live up tothe hype?

(00:39):
That is until I found out howto really step into becoming
this Proverbs 31 woman throughleadership development.
In this podcast, you're goingto find financial freedom,
leadership, growth andmotivation so you'll be able to
do all the things God has calledyou to do with ease and really
step into that land of milk andhoney.

(00:59):
Hi friends, welcome back toanother episode of Milk and
Honey.
I'm your host, lemon.
I'm really excited becausetoday I want to talk about being
a better speaker and how we allneed to be a better speaker.
You might be thinking I don'twant to speak on a stage and I
don't want to launch a podcast.
Or maybe you're like I do wantto start a podcast and I want to

(01:20):
be a better speaker and I wantto book speaking gigs, no matter
which camp you fall in.
This episode is for you.
Whether you're leading a team, running a business or trying to
communicate more effectivelywith your family, this episode
is for you.
I want to talk about the powerof your voice specifically.
I think it is the number onetool that can set you apart.
It opens doors and changeslives.

(01:42):
I want to talk about why youhave to be a better speaker, no
matter where you are or what youdo.
So why is this a non-negotiableskill?
Whether you're climbing acorporate ladder and you still
have a nine to five, or you'retrying to make more sales or you
just want to lead your familyand your community, your ability
to move people with your wordsis key.

(02:02):
It's not just about what yousay, it's about how you say it.
Words have the power to inspire, lead and create change.
Think about it.
If I came on here and was likeyou need to be a better speaker,
my friend, you need to be abetter speaker.
You'd be like that's awful, I'mnot interested, but it's the

(02:23):
tone, my excitement level, it'sthe enthusiasm she could see me.
I talk with my hand.
I am a full animated speakerwhen I talk, and so when I say
you should be a better speaker.
You can hear it in my voice.
You know what I'm saying, Ibelieve, and so that's what you
have the power to do as aspeaker.

(02:44):
Think about this Every greatleader, impactful entrepreneur,
every person who's ever made asignificant difference in the
world, they have one thing incommon they know how to use
their voice.
They know how to deliver amessage that transcended the
moment and left a lasting impact, to leave something lasting

(03:04):
with people.
People don't remember what yousay, but they'll remember how
you made them feel.
The way you make them feel iswith your speaking tonality, the
messaging, the enthusiasm, theauthenticity behind your voice.
All of those things matter inhow you leave somebody feeling,
and people will remember thatlonger than they will remember
the exact words that you use.

(03:25):
This is more important for usas believers, because in 1 Peter
, 3, 15, and I love this as,like the apologetics verse, it
says but in your hearts, revereChrist as Lord.
Always be prepared to give ananswer to everyone who asks you,
to give the reason for the hopethat you have to do this with
gentleness and respect.

(03:46):
It is not just about beingready to speak, it's about being
ready to share the hope that wehave in Christ, and to do it
with gentleness and respect yourwords.
Have the power to point peopleto the gospel and to the
life-changing love of Jesus, andknowing how to share that
message makes a difference.
Have you guys ever heardsomebody give their testimony

(04:08):
and you got lost in the middleof it because they started
pulling things in that weren'treally relevant?
Maybe they felt relevant tothem or it was just like a
jumbled mess.
You understood what they weretrying to get across, but not
really.
That's why you have to be likea good speaker.
I think about times at atestimony meeting or something
and somebody will get up andjust start blubbering and

(04:31):
there's no organization to theirthoughts.
I just left more confused thanI was before, and I know the
gospel.
I can't imagine if that's howyou presented the gospel to
people.
That just sounds like a recipefor disaster.
To be perfectly honest, sometimes you're the only Bible
people are ever going to read.

(04:52):
You're the only Bible peopleare going to experience.
It's the only way people aregoing to experience love of
Christ and so being able toeffectively communicate, that
can change an entire generation.
Now let's talk about how you setyourself apart, because as
believers we're supposed to beset apart.
Imagine this You're standing ona stage in front of thousands
of people, the lights are on you, the room is buzzing and all

(05:16):
eyes are looking at you.
However, you're not nervous.
You're not nervous.
Do you know that what you'reabout to say is going to bring
breakthrough, shift andtransformation?
You're confident, you'reprepared and that your message
is going to leave a lastingimpact.
It is a reality that you get toachieve, whether you're behind

(05:38):
the camera or on stage.
Being able to deliver apowerful message is what sets
you apart.
It makes your calendar fullybooked and your influence
unmatched.
It is what turns people to thegospel.
When you are confident in whatyou're saying, when you can
speak with enthusiasm, when youcan share breakthrough and your

(05:58):
own transformation, being ableto share that effectively
changes others' lives, and youhave a responsibility to do that
as a believer.
Proverbs 18.21 says the tonguehas the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eatits fruit.
When you speak with intentionand with purpose, your words can
bring life and transformation.

(06:19):
Isn't that what we all want, asbelievers, as moms, as
entrepreneurs to bring life andtransformation.
Knowing how to communicateeffectively will set you apart
as a leader.
Think about some of the mostimpactful speakers.
You might be thinking like TonyRobbins, I could deliver the
same information.

(06:39):
Or a newbie speaker coulddeliver the same exact
information, and it wouldn't beas impactful because he's
practiced, prepared, intentionaland knows his purpose.
That's what you get to do.
I want to talk about the impactthat your voice has when you
become a better speaker, you'renot just improving your

(07:01):
communication skills.
You get to step into a newlevel of influence.
You're becoming a person whocan lead better, who can inspire
more, who makes an even biggerdifference.
Like I already said, your wordsbring life, they bring hope,
they bring transformation.
This world is filled with somuch noise.
Your voice can be the one thatstands out, the one that people
listen to and the one that Goduses to bring about his purposes

(07:24):
.
Jesus told his disciples, butyou will receive power when the
Holy Spirit comes on.
You and you will be mywitnesses.
In Jerusalem and in all Judeaand Samaria and to the ends of
the earth.
There's a call to be a witnessand to testify about what God
has done, and it's not just forthese early disciples, it is for
you.
Right now, your voice carriesthe message of the gospel to the

(07:47):
ends of the earth.
It's a gift that we have rightnow.
I should become a better speaker.
If you want to be a betterspeaker, I encourage you to do
the Kingdom Speaker Academy withme.
I have already done it threetimes.
One is coming up and let metell you becoming a better
speaker if you've been heresince the beginning, january of
2023, podcast episodes used tobe 30 minutes.

(08:09):
They were jumbled, I was not asarticulate, I was not as
confident, and then I took theKingdom Speaker Academy twice
and I became a certified speakerand that is what helped my
podcast go from not even beingranked to top 2% in the entire
world.
That's how I ended up in Forbestwice.
It's why the podcast is bookedout until mid-2025.

(08:33):
Because I have become a betterspeaker, I get requests to speak
at conferences because I'm abetter speaker, without even
putting myself out there as acertified speaker.
People come to me and theyrequest that I speak because
they have seen me speak, becausepeople have heard me speak, and

(08:53):
so I get requested to speak allthe time.
Kingdom Speaker Academy thepre-work starts on the 9th, so
if you're listening to this theweek of the 9th.
You can do prep work with meand it's only nine weeks long.
You'll be trained by threedifferent industry experts.
They have over 60 years ofexperience.
They'll learn tools, techniquesand strategies to become a

(09:14):
better and more transformationalspeaker.
Whether you're looking to speakin front of thousands of people
or just want to communicatemore effectively with your
spouse or with your kids, ksawill give you everything that
you need.
And this isn't just let meteach you how to speak, but how
to speak with purpose, power andthe message that God has placed
on your heart.

(09:35):
It's really about you becomingthat vessel for change and a
voice for the kingdom and aleader who is unafraid to stand
up and speak out.
We need more kingdom speakers.
I look at what's happening inthe world politically this push
for less than biblical ideology.

(09:55):
If you're in the United States, you know what I'm talking about
.
I just saw somebody.
When I go to interview schools,I ask are there any
non-biological animals who uselitter boxes?
Crazy questions.
The people who behave in thisway are the loudest.
They are a very small portionof the population.

(10:16):
They're just loud.
They're good at articulatingtheir cause and pushing what
they believe.
You are mandated as a believer,to be a better speaker, to be
vocal, to go out and share whatthe Lord has done with you.
This isn't me saying come anddo this with me because it'd be
for funsies.
You have a biblical mandate todo.

(10:37):
Jesus himself said in Matthew10, 20, for it is not you who
will speak, but the spirit ofyour father speaking through you
, and that's the confidence thatyou get to have as a kingdom
speaker.
We're not speaking our ownwords.
This isn't our agenda thatwe're pushing.
It's the Holy Spirit speakingthrough us to bring God's
message to those who need tohear it.

(10:58):
If you want to take yourcommunication skills to the next
level, if you're ready tobecome the speaker that God
created you to be, then I wantyou to come and do this with me.
Shoot me a message on Instagramor on Facebook.
Just go to Facebook and type inLemon Price.
It's time that you step intoyour calling and develop your
voice and become the leader youwere designed to be.
This is meant for you.

(11:19):
There are people out therewaiting to hear your experience.
God did not bring you throughsomething so you could sit on it
for the rest of your life.
He brought you throughsomething so you could sit on it
for the rest of your life.
He brought you throughsomething so you had a testimony
you could share.
He brought you through this soyou could share what he has done
in and through you with otherpeople, so they can hear a
message that they have so needed.

(11:40):
I just had this experience.
Actually, I'm working on a book.
I just sent the outline to acouple of people and I got
feedback.
This morning A friend sent mefeedback.
She goes this is exactly thebook I needed to read 10 plus
years ago.
She says this is exactly what Ineeded.
This information is exactlywhat I needed.
Thank you for being so vocalabout it.
I want to encourage you.

(12:00):
Your voice matters.
You are needed in this space.
Do not think that there is nota place for you.
Nobody has your experience, your skill set, your spiritual
gifts.
Nobody else has that uniquecombination.
I don't ever want to hearsomebody say the market's
saturated or there's so manycontent creators or there's too
many.
This.
That's a lie.

(12:20):
That's a lie from the pit ofhell.
I'm going to be so honest withyou.
