When we talk about what it meansto win, it doesn't really

(01:51):
matter if it's in sports orbusiness or just your own

Most people want to win, right.
The only problem is most andI'd say with the exception of
sports teams most don't realizewhat the key factors are to
winning.
It doesn't come naturally andit's not easy, but it is
absolutely achievable by anybodywilling to fully commit.

(02:15):
I've seen the success of someshop owners that understand what
those factors are and commit tothem, while those around them
continue to wade throughmediocrity.
I've seen it in those brave newentrepreneurs taking that
massive leap of faith, leaving ajob or career that they've been
stuck in for years or decadesand started their own gig, their

(02:36):
own new business venture.
Lately I've even noticed it inour own local pro football team.
Anybody heard about what's beengoing on with the Detroit Lions?
Yeah, those Lions, formerly oneof the worst teams in history,
only have one loss for the wholeseason.
They seem unstoppable and I'velistened to many of the
post-game speeches that thecoach has with his team and I

(02:58):
can assure you they absolutelyknow what they need to do to win
.
They are committed and live andbreathe it every day.
There is no other alternativefor them.
They are all in.
I've also utilized this mindsetand commitment to win in
certain areas of my own life aswell.
This week I'm sharing animpactful message from one of my
favorite virtual mentors, themaster of motivational

(03:20):
transformation, tony Robbins.
This impactful clip talks abouthow self-belief, ownership,
responsibility, resilience andtaking massive action are the
table stakes for winning, nomatter where you are in your
business or personal life.
Here's Tony.

Tony (03:37):
I'm going to win.
You hear that.
It's not just words, it's adeclaration, it's a mindset,
it's a choice, and when you makethat choice, the universe
begins to shift in your favor.
It doesn't matter where you'vebeen, what your past looks like
or what obstacles have stood inyour way.
I'm going to win.
I don't need permission, Idon't need validation, I don't
need anyone else's approval,because I know who I am.

(03:59):
I know what I'm capable of.
The of.
The first thing you need tounderstand is this you have to
believe in yourself.
You must believe deep down inyour bones that you are worthy
of success, that you are capableof greatness.
If you don't believe it, howcan anyone else, how can you
expect the world to support youif you're not even willing to
support yourself?
You have to realize that everysingle person who has ever
achieved anything worthwhile didso because they had an

(04:20):
unshakable belief in theirpotential.
Not because they were alwaysthe smartest or the most
talented, but because they hadan unshakable belief in their
potential.
Not because they were alwaysthe smartest or the most
talented, but because theyrefused to quit on themselves.
That's the first step.
On your power.
You are in control.
You own the results of yourlife.
Your future isn't determined bycircumstances, by the economy,
by your upbringing or by yourpast failures.
No, it's determined by what youdecide to do right now, by the

(04:41):
choices you make.
From this moment forward, youare the master of your destiny.
You control the narrative.
So take responsibility.
Don't blame others, don't pointfingers.
Own your actions, own yourchoices, own your decisions.
And that's when everythingchanges, because once you take
responsibility, you take power.
When you take power, you takeaction.
And when you take action, youwin.

(05:01):
But you know what.
It's not going to be easy.
There will be times when itfeels like the whole world is
against you, when things aren'tgoing the way you planned, when
you get knocked down again andagain.
But that's okay, that's part ofthe process.
Setbacks are not failures.
They're stepping stones.
Adversity is the fuel for yourgrowth.
When you face resistance, yougrow stronger.
When you face rejection, youget more determined.

(05:22):
When you face doubt, you getmore determined.
When you face doubt, you buildmore conviction.
The more life tests you, themore you should embrace it,
because every test, everychallenge, every failure is
simply an opportunity to becomethe person you need to be to win
.
So let me ask you this Are youwilling to keep moving forward,
no matter how tough it gets?
Are you willing to fightthrough the discomfort, through
the fear, through theuncertainty?
Because the person who iswilling to keep going when
everyone else quits is the onewho wins no-transcript when you

(06:07):
relentlessly pursue your goalwith all your heart, even when
no one is watching.
Now I want you to imagine for amoment.
Picture yourself at the finishline.
Picture yourself achieving whatyou've always dreamed of.
See it, feel it, taste it.
And now ask yourself what doyou need to do today to make
that a reality?
Because your future is beingshaped by the actions you take
right now.
It's not about waiting for theright time.

Rick (06:29):
It's about making this moment the right time If you're
looking for a competitive edgefor your business or a more
effective jumpstart to yourpersonal development in 2024,
I'll make your first step supersimple.
It is a fact that an incrediblenumber of the most successful
business owners nearly half ofthe Fortune 500 companies,
top-earning professionalathletes, entertainers and

(06:50):
industry leaders likeMicrosoft's Bill Gates, former
President Bill Clinton, oprahWinfrey, richard Branson,
amazon's Jeff Bezos andSalesforce's Mark Benioff all
have one thing in common theyall have at least one coach, and
some have several that theywork with on a consistent basis,
someone that helps guide, mentor and support them,
challenge them, help them setand achieve goals that move them

(07:11):
forward and then hold themaccountable to follow through,
driving personal andprofessional growth.
Working with a coach has manysubstantial benefits.
Just for an example, 80% ofcoaching clients report improved
self-esteem or self-confidencethanks to coaching.
99% of individuals andcompanies that hire a coach
report being very satisfied and96% would do it again If, deep

(07:34):
down, you know it's time to makethose improvements in your
business or your personal lifethat you've kicked down the road
year after year, if you'retired of knowing there's a
better version of you waiting toshine, but unsure of how to
bring that version to light.
If you're tired of wanting toenjoy a more successful business
but not sure how to start, andif you don't want to go another
12 months without better resultsbut you don't want to go it

(07:55):
alone, then take the first step.
It's super simple.

Tony (08:13):
I'm going to win, and you can too, but it's going to take
everything you've got.
It's going to take every ounceof effort, every bit of courage,
every drop of belief inyourself.
But I'm telling you, if you'rewilling to do what it takes, if
you're willing to commit to yourvision, if you're willing to
get back up, no matter how manytimes you fall, you will win.
The time is now.
The opportunity is here.
You are unstoppable.

(08:34):
You are limitless and nothing, nothing is going to stand in
your way.
Self-belief is the foundation ofeverything you will achieve in
life.
It is the first and mostpowerful step you can take
towards success.
Without belief in yourself, everything else becomes
irrelevant.
It doesn't matter how talentedyou are, how much knowledge you
have or how hard you work If youdon't believe in your own
abilities.
Self-belief is the drivingforce that pushes you through

(08:57):
the tough times, the self-doubt,the obstacles.
It's what keeps you movingforward when others tell you it
can't be done.
The power of self-belief startswith understanding that you are
enough just as you are.
You don't need to be perfect, you don't need to have
everything figured out.
You simply need to trust inyour ability to learn, adapt and
grow.
Self-belief isn't aboutarrogance or thinking you're
invincible.
It's about accepting that youare capable of learning from

(09:18):
mistakes, improving fromfailures and bouncing back from
setbacks.
It's about having the courageto start knowing that, even if
you don't have all the answersright now, you'll find them
along the way.
Self-belief is a muscle that youmust constantly train.
It doesn't come naturally toeveryone, but that's okay.
Believing in yourself is achoice, and it's a choice that
you can make each and every day.
The more you choose to believein your own potential, the more

(09:40):
it becomes ingrained in yourmindset.
The more you prove to yourselfthat you can handle whatever
comes your way, the more yourself-belief will grow.
When you truly believe inyourself, you no longer need
external validation.
You don't need others to tellyou you're doing a great job or
that you're capable.
You know it within your ownheart.
This inner confidence ismagnetic.
It draws the right people, opportunities and resources into

(10:01):
your life, because it sends aclear message to the world I'm
serious about my dreams, I'mserious about my success and I
will stop at nothing to make ithappen.
It's easy to let self-doubtcreep in, especially when things
aren't going well, but that'swhen your belief needs to be the
strongest when you facechallenges, when things seem
impossible.
That's when you need to remindyourself I can do this, I am
capable, I am worthy of success.

(10:22):
Self-belief is not the absenceof fear or doubt, but the
courage to act in spite of it.
When you believe in yourself, you find the strength to push
through the hard times, to keepmoving forward when others might
quit.
Ownership and responsibility arethe keys that unlock your true
power in life.
When you take fullresponsibility for your actions,
your choices and yourcircumstances, you become the
architect of your future.
This isn't about blame or guilt.

(10:44):
It's about taking control.
It's about recognizing that noone else is coming to save you.
The life you want, the goalsyou have, are entirely in your
hands.
It's easy to fall into the trapof blaming circumstances, people
or the world for where you arein life, but the moment you
shift from the mindset of it'snot my fault, it's my
responsibility, everythingchanges.
Ownership means acknowledgingthat you have the power to

(11:06):
change your situation.
You're not waiting for theperfect moment or for someone to
hand you the life you want.
You're taking charge.
You're saying I am responsiblefor where I am right now and I
am responsible for where I'mgoing.
This sense of ownership doesn'tmean you blame yourself for
everything that's gone wrong.
Life is full of factors outsideof your control, but what you
can control is how you respond, how you adapt, how you move

(11:27):
forward.
When you take responsibility, you stop playing the victim and
start being the hero of your ownstory.
You stop waiting for the worldto give you opportunities.
You start creating them.
When you embrace responsibility, you also embrace
accountability.
This is where the real powerlies.
It's easy to make excuses whenthings aren't working out.
It's easy to say if only I hadmore time or if only I had more
resources.
But when you own your life, youstop making excuses and start

(11:49):
making solutions.
You ask yourself what can I doright now to move closer to my
goal?
Instead of pointing fingers, you look inward and ask how you
can improve, what you can learnand how you can take more
intentional action.
Taking ownership also meansowning your failures, your
setbacks and your mistakes.
It's in these moments that youfind your true power.
Failure is not a reason to quit.
It's a reason to quit.

(12:09):
It's a reason to grow.
When you take responsibilityfor your mistakes, you give
yourself the opportunity tolearn, to pivot and to come back
stronger.
The moment you stop makingexcuses is the moment you begin
to unlock your full potential.
True ownership is aboutempowerment.
When you stop waiting forsomeone to change your life,
when you stop making excuses, that's when you step into your

(12:31):
greatest strength.
Resilience and adversity is whatseparates those who achieve
their dreams from those who giveup along the way.
Life is full of challenges, setbacks and unexpected
obstacles, and no one is immuneto them.
What determines your successisn't whether you face
difficulties, but how yourespond to those difficulties.

(12:51):
It's about building the mentaltoughness to stand tall even
when everything around you isfalling apart.
Resilience is the ability tobounce back, to keep moving
forward when it feels like theworld is pushing you back.
When you're facing adversity,it's easy to feel defeated, like
the weight of the world is onyour shoulders, but this is
where your true strength isforged.
Adversity is the fire in whichyour character is shaped.
It's in the hardest moments, when you think you can't go any

(13:14):
further, that you discover whoyou really are.
Every challenge, every setback, every failure is an opportunity
for growth.
It's a chance to test yourlimits, to see how much you can
really endure and to prove toyourself that you are stronger
than you think.
The key to resilience is themindset that you choose in those
difficult moments.
You can either see adversity asa wall that blocks your path or

(13:36):
as a stepping stone thatpropels you forward.
The difference between successand failure often comes down to
how you perceive and respond toyour challenges.
Do you give up when things gettough or do you keep going,
knowing that each obstacle isjust a temporary roadblock, not
the end of your journey?
Resilience is also aboutflexibility.
Life rarely goes according toplan and sometimes the road

(13:56):
you're on will take unexpectedturns.
The resilient person isn'trigid.
They're adaptable, they adjust, they learn and they find new
paths to reach their goals.
Resilience isn't about neverfalling.
It's about always getting backup.
It's about refusing to let thehard times define you.
It's not the adversity thatmatters, but how you rise from
it.
Remember, resilience is achoice.

(14:18):
You can choose to stay downwhen life knocks you down, or
you can choose to get up, learnfrom the experience and keep
moving forward.
The challenges you face willeither break you or make you
stronger, but only if you chooseresilience.
The more you face adversityhead-on, the more you build the
mental and emotional strengthneeded to conquer whatever comes
your way, and that's what makesall the difference in the world
.

(14:39):
A focused vision and consistentaction are the twin engines that
drive you towards success.
Without a clear vision of whereyou're headed, it's easy to get
lost in the noise of dailydistractions, to veer off course
and to lose sight of your truegoals.
But a vision without action isjust a dream.
It's the relentless pursuit ofthat vision through focused and
purposeful action thattransforms it into reality.

(15:00):
The first step is having avision, a clear, compelling
picture of what you want toachieve.
This vision is what will keepyou grounded and motivated when
times get tough.
It's your why.
It's the reason you pushthrough the challenges, the fuel
that keeps you going whenothers might quit.
But a vision is not somethingyou just create once and forget
about.
It's something you must revisit, refine and strengthen every

(15:22):
single day.
The more vivid and specificyour vision, the stronger your
desire to achieve it will be.
The clearer your vision, theeasier it becomes to make
decisions and take actions thatalign with your purpose.
Once your vision is clear, youmust take focused, intentional
action.
Intentional action is whatturns dreams into reality.
But it's not just any action.

(15:42):
It's deliberate, purposefulaction that moves you toward
your goal every single day.
Focused action is about doingwhat matters, prioritizing your
efforts and avoidingdistractions.
It's about saying no to thethings that don't serve your
vision and saying yes to theopportunities and activities
that bring you closer to yourgoal.
You cannot afford to bescattershot in your efforts.
Success doesn't come from randomaction or hoping that things

(16:04):
will work out.
It comes from disciplined focus.
Every day, you must askyourself what is the most
important thing I can do todaythat moves me closer to my
vision?
If you're constantly takingaction in alignment with that
question, you will make progress, no matter how small the steps
might seem.
It's the compounded effect ofthese small, consistent actions

(16:26):
that lead to extraordinaryresults, and this is where most
people falter.
They have the vision, but theylack the focus or the drive to
consistently pursue it.
It's easy to get distracted, tolose momentum or to
procrastinate, but stayingfocused means committing to your
vision, even when it's hard.
It means showing up every day, taking action even when the
results aren't immediate, evenwhen the path seems uncertain.
It's the commitment to act nomatter the obstacles that

(16:49):
separates those who succeed fromthose who give up.
A focused vision and consistentaction are not just about
achieving your goals.
They're about becoming theperson you need to be to achieve
them.
The more committed you are totaking focused action, the more
you build the discipline, theresilience and the mindset
necessary to succeed.
Your vision and your actionsare the bridge between who you

(17:09):
are today and who you willbecome tomorrow.
Commitment to excellence is notjust about doing something well.
It's about dedicating yourselfto the highest standard of
performance, no matter the taskat hand.
It's the mindset that says Iwill give my absolute best,
regardless of the circumstances, and I will never settle for
less than my full potential.
Excellence is not about beingperfect.

(17:30):
It's about striving forcontinuous improvement and
refusing to accept mediocrity.
It's a decision to bring yourbest effort into everything you
do, no matter how big or smallthe task might seem.
When you commit to excellence, you are making a promise to
yourself that you will show upfully every single day.
It's not just about the endresult.
It's about the process, theeffort and the relentless

(17:51):
pursuit of doing things bettereach time.
Excellence is not a destination.
It's a journey.
It's about pushing past theboundaries of what you thought
was possible and setting newstandards for yourself.
Excellence requires disciplineand consistency.
It's easy to be great once in awhile, but what separates the
extraordinary from the ordinaryis the ability to bring your
best every day, even when youdon't feel like it.

(18:14):
It's about being disciplined inyour habits, focused in your
actions and intentional in yourefforts.
Commitment to excellence meansthat you are constantly learning
, growing and seeking out waysto improve yourself.
You don't wait for the perfectmoment or the perfect conditions
.
You create them through yourunwavering commitment to doing
things well.
A commitment to excellence alsomeans holding yourself

(18:36):
accountable.
When you set high standards foryourself, you're not just
measuring your results.
You're also measuring youreffort, your attitude and your
consistency.
It's easy to take shortcuts orto slack off when no one is
watching, but the trulyexcellent individuals don't need
external validation orsupervision to do their best.
They do it because they've madea promise to themselves that

(18:56):
they will always give their best, no matter the circumstances.
Choosing excellence alsorequires you to rise above the
noise.
In a world full of distractionsand excuses, the person
committed to excellence standsout because they're not willing
to compromise on their standards.
Excellence demands focus.
It demands that you tune outthe distractions, the doubters
and the shortcuts that mighttempt you along the way.

(19:18):
When you commit to excellence, you're not just working harder,
you're working smarter, moreintentionally and with a deeper
sense of purpose.
So here's the truth you are theonly one who can determine your
future.
The power to win, to succeed,to achieve everything you've
ever dreamed of, lies within you.
It's not in the circumstances,it's not in the economy, it's
not in your past mistakes.

(19:39):
It's not in the circumstances.
It's not in the economy, it'snot in your past mistakes.
It's in you.
You have everything it takes tobuild the life you want, to
overcome every challenge, torise above every setback.
But it starts with a decision.
A decision to believe inyourself, to take ownership of
your life, to push throughadversity, to focus on your
vision and to commit toexcellence in everything you do.
You don't need permission, youdon't need the approval of

(20:01):
anyone else, you don't need towait for the perfect time,
because the time is now.
You are capable of greatness.
You are capable of more thanyou've ever imagined.
But it's up to you to show upand take action.
It's up to you to refuse tosettle for mediocrity.
It's up to you to commit toyour own success, to invest in
your future and to trust thatevery step you take brings you

(20:21):
closer to the life you weremeant to lead.
So ask yourself what are youwilling to do today to move one
step closer to your dreams?
The road will not always beeasy, but it will always be
worth it.
If you choose to believe, ifyou choose to take action, if
you choose to commit toexcellence, there is nothing
that can stop you.
You are going to win, and itstarts right now, with the
choices you make in this moment.

(20:42):
Step into your power, own yourfuture and never, ever, stop
striving for greatness.
