We're turning the page again toanother year.
It's like the blank slate a newbeginning, a new timeline, a
new way to reset and rethink andreestablish maybe some new

habits or behaviors or ways tomake 2020 for the best it can
possibly be.
To make it special, I want tobring you on a little journey.
This is a form of what we callthe timeline, and this allows us
to look at our previous yearand to kind of make some
(02:28):
adjustments.
So we move forward to 2024.
We'll be all prepared and we'llbe better established at what
we want to do.
That being said, I also want toinvite you to think about maybe
a word, an intentional word ofthe year that you can come up
(02:50):
with.
That will give you some focus.

All right, all you need to dofor this little journey is to
find yourself a comfortableplace and if you're driving,

don't, and then listen to myvoice.
Let's get started.
Find a comfortable place.
Just take a moment, take a big,deep breath in holding it for
the counter to an exhaling twiceas long.
Just settle your mind, justlisten to my voice.
(03:35):
I want you to lend me yourimagination and just notice
yourself floating high aboveinto the sky and you're looking
down and you see a timeline, andthis timeline goes all the way
into your future and all the wayinto your past.
But for this particularexercise, we're going to focus
(03:59):
on the timeline of the past yearand I want you just to notice,
as you look down upon yourtimeline of the past year, any
wonderful events or situationsthat happened that light you up.
You may notice your timelinelighting up with all these
(04:22):
wonderful experiences and justnotice, however you choose to
light these experiences up, andthen just notice them getting
brighter and brighter, to thepoint where any experiences that
weren't good for you, orhelpful or deemed not positive,
(04:43):
get so muted by the light andget covered up.
They start to become smallerand smaller and from these
experiences you will take withyou to the new year the lessons
you've learned and the insightyou've gained.
Otherwise, you can giveyourself permission to let those
(05:07):
experiences fade away and toallow the light and the
brilliance and the beauty ofthose wonderful experiences to
take over.
And just take a moment andnotice those experiences.
How did they make you feel, howdid they inspire you and what
(05:41):
can you learn from theseexperiences?
And I want you to payparticular attention to maybe
one that was really big for youand it made you feel so good.
And when you feel thatwonderful experience, just
(06:03):
notice how it lights you up.
And now I want you to look toyour future, your future
timeline, and as you look atyour future timeline, I want you
to also notice that there are awhole bunch of experiences that
(06:28):
will light up that you have yetto experience.
And just notice, as you seethis timeline, a future event,
something you're looking forwardto.
You can't wait to experienceand notice on this timeline.
You doing just that notice howyou look, notice your expression
(06:55):
, your energy level, how youfeel, and when you notice this
experience becoming so brightand so exciting and so
intriguing, I want you to floatdown into that experience and
(07:18):
try it on.
And when it feels so good thatyou're actually smiling is when
I want you to float back up outof the timeline, but this time
bringing that wonderful feelingwith you, knowing, as you look
(07:39):
down upon your timeline.
There are going to be so manymore beautiful memories to share
, so many more beautifulexperiences that will light you
up, and these are what you willfocus on from this day forward.
I want you to take a moment andbring your hands up to your
(08:00):
heart and give appreciation forall your experiences, because
they brought you to where youare.
But you right now have thechoice to follow the experiences
that bring you the most joy andhave the most effect on your
life, and, when you're ready,you can take a big deep breath
(08:21):
in stating in gratitude thankyou, 2023, for all you have
given me.
I will bring forth what mattersand what has meaning and leave
behind what doesn't, and I askthe same for 2024.
When you're ready, you can openyour eyes and go about your day
(08:44):
feeling wonderful in every way.
