Welcome to Inner Child December! For the month of December, we will have new episodes every Friday with a new guest each week! We will tackle everything from relationships to forgiveness, to dance and play! I hope these episodes mean as much to me as they do to you. They’ve been such a joy to record, and it’s been so informative and healing to my inner child.
This week we have Cassandre Dunbar (she/her) of @bewellsis_podcast back on to talk about rest! We had Cassandre on episode 7, at the start of this podcast, to talk about Black mental wellness. This time around, we talk about everything from burnout to cultural trauma affecting how we are able to rest, and how chaotic or pressure-filled childhoods may have restricted our ability to rest as a child!
If you want to learn more from Cassandre and follow her work, she has an AMAZING podcast centered on mental wellness and care called Be Well Sis, available on all streaming platforms. She also can be found on IG @bewellsis_podcast & online at https://thebewellsis.com. She also recently launched a Patreon! So if you want to financially support her work, go to patreon.com/bewellsis .
Additionally, her podcast has a special holiday series with bonus episodes centering on resting and taking care of yourself during the potentially triggering holiday season, airing during the month of December!
