This isn’t the first or last time we will talk about how our ability to be emotionally aware impacts our children’s ability to be aware of their own emotions. Children that are able to do this have greater parent-reported cooperation, assertion, social competence, and better social behaviors. Today we discuss how we, as parents, can use our emotional awareness to deal with a common issue in kids; bullying. We also talk about how to parent from the “top half” of the emotional guidance scale. Hope you enjoy!
