As the third podcast in a three part series we finish up with the relationship with our kids. What is good to keep in mind is that first, we must be having a relationship with ourselves, again, this is the most important relationship and impacts all others. Importantly as we have been talking about on the show, our practices of mindfulness can be part of our journey with our relationship with our children. Being mindful means unconditional love, giving our children space, and having healthy boundaries. We want to be able to give children autonomy so that they are able to listen to their inner being and develop a sense of responsibility over their lives (and their emotions). As a parent, we teach by what we do more than what we say. Leading our children from a space of being connected makes all the difference. And it takes practice. Enjoy the episode. Know that you are a perfect parent in each and every moment as you are doing the best that you can.
