Endometriosis can be a relentless companion, but finding relief is possible. After years of navigating my own journey with this condition, I've discovered some practical techniques to ease the pain. Discover how breath work, specifically diaphragmatic breathing, can be a powerful tool for you. Gentle stretching exercises and yoga poses like child's pose and cat-cow are not just soothing, but transformative. And let's not forget the comforting warmth of hot compresses, castor oil, or heating pads to tackle inflammation head-on. These are not just theories—these are strategies that have truly made a difference in my life, and they might just do the same for you.

Join me, Damaris Mary Grossman, as I candidly share my personal experiences with endometriosis, including suspicions that it extends its reach to my back, ribs, and legs. This episode is all about empowering you with knowledge and practical tips that can enhance your quality of life. I'm committed to building a supportive community, so I warmly invite you to contribute your own tips and experiences. Together, let's forge a path towards living mindfully and embracing each day with newfound strategies for relief and well-being.

So my top three hi, how are you?

about endometriosis One,unfortunately, because I have
had have endometriosis and Ijust want to be an advocate for
other people to understand waysto help with the treatment.
So today I'm talking about justsome quick pain relief options,

and it's just three.
So we're going to talk aboutbreath work.
Uh, ways to with breath workwould be diaphragmatic breathing
I have videos on that, so ifyou want to check them out on
YouTube, diaphragmatic breathing, gentle stretching, yoga,
incorporating child's pose, catcow and a little bit of pelvic
tilt and movement in the lowerabdominal area.

(00:46):
And then I also love hotcompresses, castor oil or a
heating pad because of theinflammatory response, usually
in the abdominal area or theuterus area.
Now, um, for my endometriosisthat I suspect I'm not fully
sure I have it in my back, myribs and like all down my leg.

You know, I'm probably one ofthe nerves.
I'll let you know further onceI find out.
But I know that for mytreatments that the hot packs
and heating pads do help.
I have another video ondifferent treatments for pain
relief.
But this is just a quick tip oftop three.
If you guys have any that youuse, let me know.
