We have over three years ofcontent to binge, talking about
just all of the depths andtrials and tribulations that
we've experienced in ourlifetime and how we have

Mindfully Moody by myself, sarahhas exited stage, left for the
time being focusing on herbeautiful pregnancy, which we

love and support so much, andfor me, it's this new journey of
thinking about how I can takeMindfully Moody to a different
level and continue to bring thislevel of support and guidance
and insight from my life, thethings that I'm learning, and

That's why we started MindfullyMoody to share the things that
we were going through.
And, as I've been reflectingand going through this
transition of doing the podcaston my own, I've been so grateful

for the past three years thatSarah and I have been on this
podcast and how healing it hasbeen for me.
Truly, it's been like a therapysession for us to show up, have
conversations and talk aboutthings that are on our heart and
what we're doing to activelywork through them.
Something that has been on myheart that I want to bring to

this podcast episode today.
That has been coming upcontinuously in my life and my
friend Jenna brought it to meyesterday when we were at a
girl's celebration kavasituation she said take action
without expectation.
Okay, so often in life we arein a rush to get from point a to
(03:38):
point b to point c, to get theresults.
And, girls, you know I'll bepreaching that to the day that I
die.
Right, action, go, take theaction to get what you want.
Right, I am all about that.
But sometimes it can getfrustrating in those moments
when we're continuing to takeaction but we're not feeling the
(03:59):
results come into play.
So we want to give up, right?
So often people will put alittle bit of effort in here and
there and then they won't getthe things that they want and
then they give up and they try anew strategy, right?
And this was reflected in meyesterday and it made me just
really think about my life andhow many times I've done this,
where I'm taking action and if Idon't get the results that I

want, immediately I give up.
Is that something that you seein your life?
That there's something that youso deeply desire, something
that so deeply aligns with youas a human and your values, that
you are trying to do things, totake physical action, and
you're not getting the resultsthat you want.
So you want to give up.
Do you feel that in yourself?
Because oftentimes, when we aretaking the physical action, our

energetic world is aligned withthat version of us.
It's literally impossible forus not to get what we want, but
we usually give up a bit toosoon before the results can
actually come.
So there's this concept, right,of taking the aligned action
without expectation.

Whatever it is that you want inyour life, right?
Maybe it is the job, the careeryou're so actively seeking
something new for yourself, butyou're not holding on long
enough to get that thing becauseyou're not getting the results
that you want.
(05:26):
You're not getting theimmediate dream job, you're not
landing the immediate dreamclients because you haven't put
in enough time.
You're expecting to do a littlebit of action and then you're
to receive it immediately.
That short-term thinking, thatshort-term desire is unrealistic
(05:48):
in some aspects.
Like the quote, nothing goodcame easy is so true.
Like the best things in life,they take work, they take
intentionality, they take truedeep work and thought and
process and structure in orderto bring it to life.

And what it's about is justcontinuing to take the aligned
action, like creating this, likerepetitive cycle of the person
that you want to become,creating this like repetitive
cycle of the person that youwant to become, getting so
locked in in those actions ofwhat that person would do, and
(06:31):
then just grinding out and doingthose things.
And if you stay focused ondoing the things, over that
expectation of the results, lifeis going to get a whole lot
easier and a whole lot smoother,I'm telling you right now.

I had a solo episode in the pasttalking about enjoying the

journey rather than thedestination.
Right, this is the same thing,and I was in church this morning
and, of course, everything thatI'm playing with in my mind and
in my reality is reflected tome in church.
It's like God saying yes, thisis what you should be focusing
on.
Because they said, as long asyou take faith, take action with
(08:02):
faith in mind, god will delivermiracles.
It's like, as long as you stayin that process of being focused
on the path, on the journey, ondoing the things that you're
supposed to be doing, god willdeliver.
Right the, the universe,whoever it is that you believe
in, the blessings will come.
(08:25):
As long as you stay focused,and you might be like Hannah.
What am I even focusing on this?
This could be anything right,like for me, there are multiple
areas of life that I'm focusingon and I'm so locked in on doing
these things.
So for you you, it could besomething specific, right, it
could be.
You, so locked in in yourbusiness, right, if you have a

business, right you justcontinuing to hammer in and
figure out who your ideal clientis and the problem that you're
serving and the solution thatyou're bringing to the world in
your business, right, you'rejust in this like cog and wheel,
like going back and forth, likereally going so deep until you
(09:10):
perfect this ideal client whoyou desire to make an impact on
in the world.
Right, and it's that alignedaction of doing everything in
your power to make that thingperfect, right.
So if a business you know thebusiness analogy isn't aligning,
for you it could be health,right, like health is a perfect
(09:30):
example of this right.
Taking aligned action withoutexpectation, right.
So ideally, the expectation isgoing to be that people want to
hit their goal weight.
Right, you want to be 140pounds and be skinny.
Looking in the mirror, that'syour expectation of what you're
going to get from eating healthyand exercising.
Right, but if you just remainedfocused on what you should be
(09:53):
doing in order to get the resultthat you want, rather than
focusing and waiting everysingle day for that result to
come.
Focusing your energy on theday-to-day and falling in love
with the process and the actionsthat you need to take in order
to become that version of you.
So, falling in love with amovement practice.
Yesterday I met this cool girland she was talking about what

was lighting her up in themoment, and she was practicing
this like exploration ofmovement, and so she was going
and exploring all of thesedifferent types of exercises
right Boxing, sensual dancing,jujitsu.
She was like naming all ofthese like exercises that she's
exploring because she's dialingin that area of her life.
(10:39):
Right, she's not focused onlike yeah, really focused on
like dropping 20 pounds.
Like no, she's not focused onlike yeah, really focused on
like, dropping 20 pounds.
Like no, she's focused onenjoying the journey and finding
a movement and embodimentpractice that works for her.
I thought that was such abeautiful example of like being
in that aligned action andfocusing on that journey of like
.
Let me have fun and let me playhere and not so much focus on
(11:02):
like the result of the situation, but enjoy the process that I'm
in.
Right, so if you're on ajourney in, you know, health and
trying to become thathealthiest version of yourself,
like how can you fall in lovewith that process?
Like making it a game, like, oh, I get to go to Costco and find
like the highest protein food.
Or I'm going to try outcarnivore this week because you,
oh, I get to go to Costco andfind like the highest protein
(11:23):
food.
Or I'm going to try outcarnivore this week because you
know, I heard that carnivore hasa lot of benefits on your
health.
And Like there are just waysthat we can take the aligned
action and fall in love with theactions that we're doing to
become that version of us andwho we desire to be.
And when we take our energy offof that end person who we
(11:49):
desire to become and move ourenergy to falling in love with
the process, it becomes easierbecause we no longer are seeking
, we're no longer longing andgrabbing for this version of us
outside of the present moment.
We're actually taking our powerback and grounding into the
(12:10):
moment of who we are and what wehave control of in this moment,
right now.
Bringing it back to otherexamples right, maybe there is
something that you're working onin your life related to
relationships, right, I knowValentine's Day is coming up and
I want to send all of the loveto my single girls out there who
(12:33):
are so deeply desiring to be ina relationship and just haven't
found that partner.
And if there are any guyslistening to this podcast who
also are desiring and calling inpartnership and haven't found
that quite yet, I'm sending youlove during this season of love.
And, as cliche as it sounds,don't forget to use the month of
(12:55):
February to pour into your owncup, romanticize the fuck out of
your life and fall in love withthe person who you are and the
life that you've built, becausethe more you love yourself, the
more you love your life.
That person is going to bemagnetized so much more easily
and effortlessly into your life.
So continue being in thisbeautiful embodiment in your
(13:19):
sacred singleness era.
But, going back to it, if you'rein this singleness era, right,
and if you are looking for arelationship, how can you fall
in love with the process ratherthan, instead of getting jaded
right From the situation thatyou might be in, like, fuck
dating, I'm always going on baddates.
I just want to have my partner.
(13:41):
I get it.
I get it firsthand.
I feel like that a lot of times, but I have to ask myself
focusing on not having theresult is getting me farther
from where I want to be.
So ask yourself is focusing onnot having the thing getting you
closer to your goals or takingyou farther away from your goals
(14:02):

I really would like you tocontemplate that right.
So if you're in a relation, ifyou're looking for a
relationship, right, how can youdive deeper into this beautiful
process of being in this momentnow and enjoying the action
that you get to take?
Right, if you're desiring arelationship, just thinking like
, oh my gosh, how fun is this?
(14:24):
That I'm never going to be inthis singleness again in my life
.
I'm going to be married therest of my life.
Let me enjoy the process ofthis.
Let me enjoy the process ofgoing out and dating and swiping
on the apps and seeing thesecute guys or girls and being in
this like process of getting tomeet people and like dissecting
new information and gettinggetting dressed up and getting
(14:47):
cute Like.
I know it's freaking annoyingsometimes, I get it.
It's annoying to hear.
But we have two options.
One we can be totallypessimistic and totally in this
victim mindset of why we don'thave the thing that we desire,
or we can choose a differentpath and we can choose to be in
belief that this is coming forme.
(15:09):
What a beautiful opportunityfor me to be in this space right
now, to not have the thing thatI desire and to be able to
actively work and getting what Iwant and trying out different
methods and exploring andlearning.
This is what the process isabout, the process of life and
getting what we want.
It is about the actions.
(15:29):
It's about the energetics thatwe have to balance when we're in
these moments of learning aboutourselves, learning about who
we are, learning new tools, tips, strategies to get us closer to
the version of us who we desireto become.
Right Now, I'm not saying liketotally, don't focus on that end
result, but it's the deepdesire and longing that I will
(15:51):
be happy when I get that right.
Right, because then you're justgonna be chasing your entire
life and we don't wanna bechasing.
We want to be attracting rightand being in the action, loving
the process.
That is that attraction mode ofjust feeling fulfilled, feeling
excited, feeling energized bywhat is on our list of to-dos
(16:14):
today right, rather thancounting all the to-dos and
hoping that we end up in theplace that we want to be in in
three, six months, two years,five years.
This is an invitation to you,an invitation for you to stop
focusing so much on what you donot have and start seeing all
(16:36):
the beautiful aspects of yourlife and the things that you
have created thus far.
You have worked so freaking hardto be in the place that you
currently are.
Trust me, I know, I see you.
I know all the work that you'vebeen doing behind the scenes.
I see you, I feel you, I knowhow much work you've been doing
and I'm proud of you, and youshould be proud of you too.

Okay, so, just because youhaven't lost the 20 pounds of
you and you should be proud ofyou too.
Okay, so just because youhaven't lost the 20 pounds or
you haven't got the boyfriend oryou haven't got the dream
career yet, that doesn't meanthat you should give up.
Take note about how much workand effort that you've put in
and how much energy you've usedto kind of perfect your life and
the systems that you've builtand the routines that you're in.
(17:19):
Be so freaking proud of who youare and the things that you
have already done, becauseyou've come so far and when you
can remain in that relentlessaction that you've been taking,
it is a no-brainer for all thethings that you desire to be
coming into your life very soon.
(17:40):
Okay, this is what I practice.
I feel a huge up-levelingcoming in my life, like, and I'm
super excited.
I'm super excited and I'm superstoked about it, but I'm not
focusing my energy on that, likeI just know.
There's just a deep knowinginside of me that it is coming.
I don't know when it's coming,I don't know exactly what.

There's a lot of things that Idesire, but I know that I'm
falling in love with the processof what my day-to-day life
looks like and that whatever iscoming is going to be really
freaking good.
But the reason I know it'sgoing to be good is because I
already love what I have rightnow, and so it's this process of
fully falling in love deeplywith your life and the things
(18:20):
that you've built and theactions that you have to take
every single day to continue tobecome the person that you
desire to be.
Okay, this podcast is meant toinspire you to get you out of

So do not forget the power thatyou have every single day to
choose how you are living.
Right To choose the actions, tochoose the steps, to take the
initiative in your life to buildall of the things you truly,
deeply desire.
