Speaker 1 (00:01):
One, two, three and
to the phone.
What is up?
Mindfully, moody babes, it'sHannah and I am here with
another episode.
I'm excited to get into theepisode and chat with you guys
and see what is going on.
So it is December 8th currentlyit is Sunday and the Christmas
(00:22):
spirit is here.
Okay, and I am obsessed with thenew year.
If you're not obsessed with thenew year, what are you doing?
If you just feel like the newyear is just like another
passing date, then maybe thisepisode isn't for you.
This episode is for people whoreally love an opportunity to
reinvent themselves.
Okay, and that's what the newyear is all about.
(00:46):
To me, the new year is just thismoment in time where we're able
to look back on the previousyear and say did I enjoy this
year?
Did I fall in love with theperson who I became this year?
What kind of things did Iaccomplish?
What lessons did I learn?
It's just such a great momentto look back on your year and
(01:08):
reflect on the things that havehappened.
Life is just one big journey oflearning, and so, if you're not
learning from your past, whatare you doing?
Literally, what are you doing?
It is my goal in life to justlive the most peaceful, content,
(01:30):
joyful life possible, and Ibelieve that where I'm currently
at in my life and how I'mcurrently feeling about my life
and the things that I've builtis because I have taken time to
reflect, go inward, analyze whatdidn't make me feel good in
order to create an abundant lifeof joy, of purpose, of passion,
(01:55):
of excitement, and I contributethat to me reflecting on the
past and seeing where I couldimprove and seeing where I could
do better and make changes tobring in more abundance and all
of that.
So I want to talk about thattoday, on how you can reinvent
yourself for 2025 and building avision for yourself that you're
(02:18):
going to look back at the endof 2025 and be like I did that,
I did the damn thing and I'mproud of myself and I love the
person I've become.
I just I feel like life is tooshort to not fully be in love
with the life that you have, like I've been there firsthand
where I felt like I was justwaking up to live another day.
(02:42):
Just waking up to lack ofbetter terms suck the day's dick
, oh God.
But I've been there where Iwasn't excited to wake up
Flashback, maybe back in 2020,even before that, you guys, wow
(03:04):
when I was married, that feelslike a whole another lifetime
being married.
But I just remember being inthat moment of lowness, like I
am not coming from thisperspective of like, oh my gosh,
my life's always been like this.
No, like I was deep in the shitfor a long freaking time where
(03:25):
I woke up and I wasn't excitedto live the day.
I didn't like my job, myrelationship was absolutely
horrible, toxic, like unhappyjealousy, like it was just not
good.
I looked in the mirror and Idid not like who I saw.
Like there were so many thingsthat I did not enjoy about my
life five years ago, and so justto see what kind of
(03:49):
transformations can come withintentionality is huge.
Because now it's like I look atmy life and I'm so joyful every
single day, I'm excited to wakeup and live the day.
I love who I see in the mirror,I love all of the relationships
and the connections that I'vebuilt, and that's because
intentionality is how I build mylife.
Intentionality is how I liveevery single day, of being
(04:11):
intentional of every move that Ido in order to curate this life
.
So I want you to think aboutthis.
Here are some things that youcan do in order to reinvent
yourself in 2025 and build avision that is going to make you
feel the most fulfilled.
So the first thing, what youcan do, is one to start and look
(04:36):
back at 2024 and say, like whatwere some of the highlights of
your year?
What are some of the thingsthat brought you the most joy
and excitement and love?
And like what of the thingsthat brought you the most joy
and excitement and love?
And like what are the thingsthat, like, lit your soul on
fire?
And really sit in those momentsand analyze them and say, like
what was it that made me feellike that right For me,
(04:58):
reflecting on 2024, and likewhat lit me up and made me the
most excited is one.
The first thing that comes tomind is just getting out in
nature and having a consistent, regular practice of movement in
nature.
I was at church this morningand the whole lesson in church
(05:19):
was getting outside.
Get outside without distractionand just be open to whatever
will come.
What messages will come innature and that's where I spent
so much time this year isoutside, reflecting, being open,
being grateful for thebeautiful weather.
(05:40):
Nature is just such a healingplace and I know that anytime
I'm outside, I just know I'mgoing to feel happier.
So that's something that, like, has been very apparent to me is
that's something that brings mejoy.
So I challenge you to thinkabout that, right, maybe you
pause this podcast if you needto, but think about what are the
things this year that broughtyou so much joy and really
(06:03):
helped you feel super connectedto yourself and who you are Like
.
I want you to think about thosemoments where you, like, close
your eyes and you just like, almost like, feel like there's
this lightness that fills yourbody.
That's the magic.
Those are the moments, like, domore of those, right.
So reflect on that and come upwith a handful of things that
(06:25):
made you feel that way.
And then, for me, what isreally really helpful is to
carve back and audit and saywhat were the things that didn't
bring me joy, what were thethings that stole my peace?
What were the things thatcaused me anxiety, what were the
things that put me into a stateof depression right, yeah, it's
not really fun to look at thesethings, right, reflecting on
(06:46):
2024 and saying what made medown bad the most, right, like,
that's not enjoyable toexperience that.
But when we can go and dive inand look at the things that
maybe did steal our peace, we'reable to kind of understand them
deeper and correct them and saylike, okay, well, this happened
because maybe I did this and Ichose to go down this path.
So that put me in this state ofdid this and I chose to go down
(07:09):
this path, so that put me inthis state of lack or this state
of scarcity or fear.
And by looking at those momentsyou can kind of say like I
noticed that was a pattern in mylife and I no longer want to
bring that same unhealthy, toxicpattern with me in this new
year because I am doing all thatI can to not allow other things
to steal my peace.
So for me, all that I can tonot allow other things to steal
(07:31):
my peace.
So for me, looking at just thepattern of drinking was a huge,
huge thing reoccurring.
I'm sure if you're listening tothis, you probably had a party
era at some point in your lifeand for me it was really taking
a look at that.
I never had a problem withalcohol ever, but I definitely
binge drank and I over drank, right, and it's just like, if
you really think about it,drinking is so unhealthy for you
(07:51):
.
It's just so bad Like the factthat I would waste so much of my
time and energy and life beinghung over.
It's just mind blowing.
So I'm happy that I have adifferent relationship with it.
But I had to really take a cold, hard look at myself and be
like you know, what value isthis bringing me?
I noticed that, you know, drinking was stealing my peace.
(08:13):
It was stealing my peace thenext day.
It was making me not feel good.
I was like what is this addingto my life?
Right, like, I'm going out, I'mgetting drunk and this was I
mean, not even like last year, but many years in the past.
You know, just really taking alook at the things that are
stealing my peace and how I canlimit those.
(08:33):
Right, like maybe you're notgoing to completely remove them,
but how can I limit those?
Right?
Maybe it's like you go out fourtimes a month or something and
then you're like hung over.
It's like how can you maybelimit that to like once a month
or like twice a month?
Right?
So I was like I noticed thosewere the lowest moments, you
know, like the next day when Iwould be hungover and I would be
anxious.
So for me it was like carvingback on those moments.
(08:55):
And then you know.
Another example could be likefood.
You know, maybe you have atoxic pattern of like binge
eating and you notice that everytime that you binge eat and you
feel super full, now you'refeeling guilty, now you're
feeling shame, right.
So like that is an unhealthypattern.
So how can you recognize thatpattern that maybe exists in
your life and how to limit thatand correct that?
(09:18):
Right?
Correcting that could look likehaving better plans around the
house in terms of eating, likemaybe not buying unhealthy
groceries, planning a night, aFriday night dinner with your
friends, of like making somecreative, delicious, beautiful
meal, like there are so manyways to replace like unhealthy
patterns.
(09:38):
But we have to be aware of theunhealthy patterns that exist in
our life in order to correctthem.
So for me, just thinking aboutthis year, you know I want to
really share where I I I'malways actively improving.
So I think that, like I alwayshave an opportunity to kind of
talk to you guys about, you knowwhere I'm actively working on
(10:01):
and improving in my life.
So for me I will say this isn'tnecessarily like something bad,
but I noticed the lack ofstructure in my life is not
allowing me to hit goals that Iwant, and it's weird to say that
because I'm such a structuredperson.
Like structure is my life.
(10:24):
But specifically what I'mreferring to is working out.
Like going to the gym hasalways been a struggle and
challenge for me.
Like I've had periods where I'mlike, yes, like athletic era,
you know like we're going, we'relifting weights, we're doing
the damn thing, and then I justfall off the train and it's like
I know that that's gonna makeme feel good is like
(10:44):
consistently going to the gym.
So I think like that'ssomething that does steal my
peace, because it's like I havethis sense of guilt that like I
know I should be doing somethingbut I'm not doing it, and so
it's something that I definitelyam going to look at.
I'm not going to process fullyon the podcast right now about
my relationship with going tothe gym and how I can make that
(11:05):
more seamless, but that'ssomething that I recognize of
like okay, that's somethingthat's kind of like causing me a
little bit of anxiety and likeguilt and like a little bit of
weirdness that I'm gonna kind ofdive into, as I'm doing, my own
2024 reflections and seeing howI can kind of bring more of
this flow into my 2025.
But definitely I know thatworking out is gonna be a big
(11:26):
part of my next year, so that'swhat you can kind of do.
To start off, reinventing a newversion of you in 2025 is one.
Highlight the amazing thingsthat happened to you in 2024,
and then bring those in to 2025.
Okay, and then I want you toanalyze and audit, maybe, the
(11:49):
things that stole your piece andhow you can kind of remove
those things from your life andreplace them with something else
, something new.
And then number three is partof this whole visioning
experience is reinventing whoyou desire to be.
I just think it's so beautifulthat we can be whoever we want
(12:11):
to be.
We have no obligation to be theperson we were yesterday or who
we thought we were going to betomorrow.
We get to decide every singleday who we want to be.
How freaking cool is that thatwe have the freedom to choose,
that we can be anyone that wewant to be.
We can work any job that wewant to work.
We can wear any clothes.
We can express ourselves in anyway.
(12:32):
We can have conversations withanyone.
Like we have the freedom to bewhoever we want to be, and I
think a lot of people are justheld back by fears of society
judging them, fears of beingrejected, fears of not being
loved, and it's like that is alla choice.
Every single day, we have achoice to decide how we want to
(12:55):
live our life, what kind ofposition we want to be in, how
we want to see things aboutourselves, beliefs that we have
about the world and I justspilled my sparkling water.
My dog gets so scared.
Okay, um, and we just.
Every day, we have a choice, and so I want you to think about
that for yourself.
Like, how do you want toreinvent yourself this year, in
(13:18):
the new year of 2025?
Like, who do you want to becometruly?
Like, fast forward to December2025.
Like what do you look like?
What kind of clothes are youwearing?
Where are you living?
Who are you in a relationshipwith?
Who are your closest friends?
What city are you living in?
Just really get into thisenergy and this embodiment of
(13:39):
who do you want to be.
For me, I love to really connectto how I show up in a room
because I feel like that sayseverything, that like just
confident, radiant, magneticself, like energy is everything
for me.
And so I love to think aboutlike that, who do I want, like
how do I want to feel?
And like what will my energyfeel like?
(14:02):
And at the end of 2025, becausethat needs to be a match of the
physical right Okay, if I wantto have energy showing up like
this and this confident, radiant, just magnetic badass baddie
babe, what is her lifeenergetically look like and what
is her life physically looklike?
So I challenge you to thinkabout and really deeply think
(14:25):
about and connect.
I challenge you to think aboutand really deeply think about
and connect emotionally, connectto her.
Close your eyes after thispodcast and take 10 minutes to
connect to that version of youwho you want to become
Energy-wise physically, mentally, emotionally, all of the things
.
You are the only person thatholds you back, preventing you
(14:46):
from getting the things that youwant.
So you get to decide.
You are the director, babe.
You are the producer, you arethe creator, you are the writer,
you are all of it of your movieokay, and you might win an
Oscar this year.
So get it right, get that movieright?
(15:07):
Get your acting skills up,because if you're on YouTube
watching, like, the thumbs upthing keeps popping up and
that's just like validation.
For me, it's like, yeah, you'resaying something, right, people
are resonating, so really thinkabout it.
Right, physically, how do youwant to look Physically?
What do you need to do in 2025?
Like you could think about allof these different areas of life
(15:31):
, right?
So in 2025, physically, what doI want my body to look like?
Right, how much do I want toweigh?
It was just so annoying.
Maybe don't follow that, buthow much do I want to move?
What would feel really good forme in terms of exercise and
what would feel really good forme in terms of health?
Right, physically, okay.
Mentally, how am I going tolearn this year?
(15:54):
I maybe have a goal to take anew course or read a book a
month or go to therapy.
What are some goals and someways that you can improve that
are going to align you with thatend of the year version of you?
What are things that you needto do in order to contribute to
that person that you desire tobecome?
(16:15):
There's this beautiful exerciseof being able to reverse
engineer the person you want tobecome.
So I challenge you to get out apiece of paper, get out a pen
and write it down.
Write the qualities down, like,if you want to be making, you
know, 15 K in your business in20, at the end of 2025,
consistently per month, writethat down as a goal.
(16:38):
2025, me is going to be makingthis much money.
They're going to weigh thismuch.
What kind of clothes are theygoing to wear?
What kind of friends are theygoing to have?
What kind of relationship arethey going to be in?
What city are they going tolive in?
I want you to literally writeout a movie of who you want to
become and then what you can dois reverse engineer that say
like okay, if I want to finallystart that side hustle that I've
(17:02):
been dreaming about for years, okay, well, how am I going to do
that?
So at the end of the year, endof 2025, if I would say like I
am successfully running abusiness that feels super
aligned with me, okay, well, what do I have to do each month
in order to get there?
And that's where the magichappens and that's actually how
you're going to bring thatvision to life.
(17:24):
That reinvention to life is inthe reverse engineering of the
person you want to become.
So maybe November you'resigning your fifth client on
your dream business, right Goingto July, maybe you're like
doing some sort of like businesscoaching something.
(17:45):
Maybe January you're opening upan LLC and like a business bank
account.
Or January you're strategizing, creating your business
manifesto and writing a businessplan, right Like.
So I want you to think about, like all the things that you
desire to become, what are thesteps, the physical steps that
you need to take in order tobring that thing to life right?
One, it's a lot about thephysical action, but two, it's
(18:06):
also about the energetic.
I always preach this all thetime.
It's like it takes both rightOf becoming someone new.
It takes some energy.
You need to be an energeticmatch for that person that you
desire to be and you need totake the physical action right
To make sure that you are takingthe correct steps in order to
bring that thing, whatever it is, to life.
(18:28):
So I want you to think aboutthat, write it out, write out
this character of who you wantto become and explore what that,
what that looks like and whatit would look like in order to
become her.
It's just an opportunity, it'san invitation.
And you know, if you'relistening to this and you're
(18:51):
like Hannah, I'm good, I'm goodgirl because I know I am such a.
I am such a person who isalways reinventing myself,
because I just always wantbigger and better things for
myself.
So if you're someone who issaying like I'm good, I'm good
on the self-development girl,it's like good I'm, I'm happy
(19:11):
for you, I'm so proud of youthat you feel so fulfilled in
your life and you feel the senseof peace and you feel like
you're there, like that's thegoal to get there, to get to
that like sense of contentment.
But I think that life is alsoan ever evolving journey and
we're always learning more aboutourselves and it's just always
there's.
Every day there's anopportunity to become better.
(19:33):
Right, if we are not working onourselves, we're stagnant, we
could be complacent, we couldlose that joy and that
excitement and that novelty inlife.
So I just encourage you to lookat yourself and your life and
think about ways that you couldbring in more peace, more
satisfaction, more joy, morepassion, more purpose, because
(19:54):
life is so short, life is reallyreally so short, and I learned
this lesson the hard way, likeby losing my dad when I was 17
and my stepdad at 18, like itjust made me realize that life
is truly so short and I reallysaw my dad be in so much sadness
his whole life, like hesuffered with depression and
(20:15):
anxiety, and like that's why Iam the way I am, because you
don't know when your last day isand I don't want to spend my
life being unhappy, being inanxiety, being in depression,
like I want to cherish everysingle moment that I have in
this lifetime and that's why Ifeel so passionately about
(20:35):
removing the shit, removing thestuff that causes me angst and
that causes me density and thatcauses me pain.
Because life is so short, likelife is truly so short, and so
that's why I preach we preachthis here on the podcast of like
(20:56):
find that alignment, find thething that opens your heart and
just follow that.
Because life is short, life isbeautiful, and I'm on one today,
y'all, I'm on one today.
