Cherry, dressed in her favorite witch costume, yawned widely. Her pointy hat was a little crooked, and her magic wand was tucked under her arm. It had been a long, exciting day filled with trick-or-treating and Halloween parties. Now, all Cherry wanted to do was curl up in her bed and sleep.
But as Cherry closed her eyes, she couldn't help but think of all the spooky things she had seen. The jack-o'-lanterns with their glowing eyes, the spooky ghosts hanging from the trees, and the silly monsters with their funny noises. She giggled a little, remembering the friendly vampire who had given her extra candy.
Cherry snuggled deeper into her covers, her stuffed black cat, Midnight, tucked under her chin. She closed her eyes and tried to drift off to sleep, but the images of the night danced in her head. Suddenly, she heard a "whoosh" and a gentle thud on her window.
Cherry opened her eyes and peeked through the curtains. There, perched on the windowsill, was a tiny, friendly ghost. It had a big smile and was waving a miniature pumpkin. Cherry giggled again. The little ghost made a silly face, and Cherry waved back.
The ghost floated away, and Cherry watched as it disappeared into the night. Feeling a little braver, she closed her eyes again. This time, she imagined herself floating alongside the friendly ghost, exploring the moonlit sky and visiting all the spooky houses in her neighborhood.
Cherry's dreams filled with dancing skeletons, friendly witches, and happy goblins. The spooky creatures were all having a fun Halloween party, and Cherry was the guest of honor. She even got to ride on a broomstick with a friendly witch!
As the first rays of sunlight peeked through her window, Cherry woke up with a smile. The spooky Halloween night was now a fun and happy memory. She stretched, gave Midnight a big hug, and hopped out of bed, ready for another day of adventures. The Halloween spirit was still in the air, and Cherry knew that even the spookiest things could be fun and exciting when you had the right attitude.
