Speaker 1 (00:19):
Welcome to this meditation on being grateful. You can use
this meditation as a break in any day to remind
yourself of how thankful you are for your life, for
love in the world, for the earth and nature around you,
(00:46):
for all existence. Let's begin by just focusing on our breathing.
Just breathe naturally in and out through your nose, and
(01:10):
focus your attention on that air movement. And as the
air moves inward and outward, you will also feel that
gentle movement of your chest in and out. Feel that
(01:36):
connection between your mind's focus and your body. Feeling aligned,
feeling at ease, Feel attention leave your body with each
(02:06):
breath that you breathe out. As we embark on this
journey of gratitude, I invite you to let go of
any worries or stresses that may be weighing you down.
(02:33):
Regrets about the past, fears about the future. If these
thoughts arise, welcome them, but then gently let them go
each and every time. Allow this time to be simply
(03:02):
a home for positivity and love. Now bring your attention
to the very center of your body, right in the
(03:25):
space where you have your heart and lungs, And as
you continue breathing gently and naturally. Just imagine a warm,
radiant light glowing within your chest. This beautiful, glowing light
(03:50):
represents your gratitude, your appreciation for life itself, your place
in it. Allow your light to continue to grow brighter
as you breathe, Allow it to fill your entire being
(04:17):
with warmth and love, feeling a stronger sense of gratitude
and letting go of those lingering fears and anxieties. And
(04:48):
as you are here in this inviting and comforting place,
let's take a moment to express gratitude for life itself.
Reflect on the miracle of existence. Imagine the infinite number
(05:12):
of events that were required to bring you to this
very moment. This allows us to deeply cherish every moment
we have. You are here, breathing, living, and experiencing this
(05:37):
beautiful world and universe. Your existence is a gift, a
unique expression of this universe. Observing itself. However you wish
(06:03):
to direct your gratitude, just take a moment to silently
thank life for all of the experiences that it has
offered you, both the joys and the challenges and struggles.
(06:25):
Each and every experience has shaped you, made you stronger
and brought you to this very moment. Reflect on this
for just a little bit, great and now turn your
(07:25):
gratitude inward toward yourself. We can so often forget to
simply appreciate ourselves, but you are deserving of your own
love and appreciation. Think of all the things you've accomplished,
(07:52):
the obstacles you've overcome, the kindness you've shown to others.
Acknowledge your resilience, your strengths, and your capacity to grow
and learn if you like. On the next deep breath
(08:19):
in when you exhale, just say to yourself and your mind,
I am grateful for myself. And on the next breath
(08:49):
exhaling out, thinking I love and appreciate who I am.
And now let's expand our gratitude to all that is
(09:13):
beautiful in the world. Think about the natural wonders, breathtaking landscapes,
the intricate beauty of nature. Picture vast oceans, mountain ranges,
(09:37):
rich forests, full of life. Take a moment to send
out a wave of gratitude for all this beauty that
surrounds us. And as we observe and enjoy this, we
(10:15):
know and recognize that change is constant, that nothing is permanent,
We can try to grasp onto it, but time and
change will slip through our fingers like grains of sand.
(10:38):
This is not a fact to dwell on or despair about. Instead,
we can see the passing of time and the impermanence
of everything as a gift. It is all the more
(10:59):
reason to recognize the monumental importance of this present moment.
As we conclude this meditation, remember that gratitude is a
(11:21):
powerful force. It can transform your life and the lives
of those around you. It is a reminder that even
in the most difficult times, there is always something to
be grateful for. Let gratitude shine brightly within you, carry
(11:51):
it with you every day, and share it with others.
Let your positivity and love be a beacon of light
in the world. Reflect on this for just a few
more moments, and now, if you like, the ambient music
(12:40):
will continue for several more minutes. You can stay here
in this place of peace and comfort, and whenever you're ready,
If your eyes were closed, you can let them open
and you can continue with your day or night. But
(13:06):
carrying this feeling of gratitude and love with you and
allowing it to guide you on the rest of your
journey through life. Thank you for joining me in this
meditation session, and I hope your day or night is
(13:28):
filled with gratitude, positivity, and love. The guided portion of
this meditation will end.
