Speaker 1 (00:12):
Within you is the power to rewire your subconscious mind
and completely change your life. Did you know that all
of your habits of thinking and acting are stored in
the subconscious mind. But we're only aware of a tiny
fraction of thinking because the largest part of our thinking
happens on a subconscious level, and there are many things
that go on beyond our level of conscious awareness that
(00:35):
influence our perception of reality, as well as the split
second decisions that we make that impact our day to
day experiences. Have you ever wondered why you do things
that seem to sabotage your true desires? If you found
yourself pondering this question, the answer is your subconscious mind.
It controls your emotions and drives your behavior. And this
(00:56):
works for both things that you would consider yourself to
be good at as well for things that you might
consider yourself to be bad at. However, you can rewire
your subconscious mind to be good at anything you choose
with just a little practice. Along with controlling all of
the functions that regulate your body without you having to
consciously think about it, the subconscious mind is also the
(01:17):
dominant force of your creativity and your intuition. It's constantly
preparing for your future. The way we think, behave, interact, react,
talk about ourselves, talk about others, and perceive life in
general is all rooted within the subconscious mind. This is
termed dominant function. Any person's dominant function is their strongest
(01:40):
and most developed function. For instance, if you're a kind
and affectionate person, your dominant function is rooted in kindness
and affection. But if you find that you are not
kind and affectionate and you would like to be, you
can develop these traits on a subconscious level to make
them a part of your dominant function. Let's talk briefly
about how how your brain and body work in order
(02:01):
to get a grasp on how to rewire your subconscious
mind to completely change your life. The human body contains
around thirty seven trillion cells. Those cells communicate by using
electrical impulses. The messages travel along the nerves to the brain,
which contains approximately eighty six billion cells of its own,
and then those messages are interpreted so that they can
(02:22):
be acted on. And all of this happens in a
fraction of a second, with everything in the body working
in harmony to achieve the same goal. This includes the
function of the brain, which holds all of your prior decisions, beliefs, memories,
and attitudes to use as reference points when creating that
split second decision of what to do next. Some thoughts
(02:43):
simply float into your mind and then disappear. Others have
enough relatable power to trigger a response. The responses we
have from our thoughts are tied to our belief systems,
and believe systems are very much like rules that we
have for ourselves that keep us in alignment with the
type of person that we think ourselves to be, with
the type of experiences that we think ourselves to have,
(03:04):
or what is often referred to as the self image
or the self concept. Some beliefs are beneficial to our lives,
while others might keep us stuck in repetitive patterns that
don't line us up with the things that we would
prefer to be or experience. The issue arises when an
individual does not question the types of beliefs that keep
them stuck in repeated patterns. However, it only takes a
(03:25):
little self discipline and some persistence to question the validity
of these types of beliefs and start the process of
rewiring in new ones so that you can change your life.
So the first thing to uncover when it comes to
rewiring your subconscious mind are any beliefs that hold you
back from creating the life that you would prefer so
that they can be released and or changed. And how
(03:48):
do we discover which types of beliefs are holding us back?
These types of beliefs are generally tied to fear and
are most often related to one or more of the
main themes of fear, which are the fear of crist
the fear of failure, the fear of success, the fear
of poverty, the fear of old age, the fear of
(04:08):
ill health, the fear of the loss of love, and
the fear of death. So what's known as the downward
aerow technique is very effective for finding core beliefs that
need to be rewired in your subconscious mind if you're
seeking change in your life. Core beliefs are the things
that we hold to be absolute truths deep down underneath
(04:29):
all of our surface thoughts. Essentially, core beliefs determine how
you perceive and interpret the world. Here's how the downward
aero technique works. Bring to mind a thought about yourself
that you have often that you may realize is not
constructive when it comes to the life that you prefer
to have. For example, let's use the phrase I procrastinate
(04:49):
too much and then ask yourself what does that mean
about me? Your answer might be something like this, I'm
afraid I'll fail or I'm just lazy. After you have
this answer, ask yourself again, what does that mean about me?
Your answer might be something like I tend to fail
(05:10):
at things or I feel incapable. That could be your
core belief, but it's a good idea to ask another time,
or even more if you feel that the belief is
deeper than that. We're trying to get to the core
belief with this process, so again, ask yourself, what does
that mean about me? In continuing this process, you'll probably
find a limiting belief that relates to one of the
(05:31):
fears just mentioned, such as I'm not good enough, and
that happens to be a common core belief and one
that must be changed in order to stop the damage
that it causes and change your life for the better.
So once you've discovered the core belief, it's time to
also discover the rules that you've created that relate to
that core belief. So let's use the core belief just
(05:53):
discovered in the downward aero technique, I'm not good enough,
because this tends to be a root cause of many
life issues. When a person holds a negative core belief
such as this, they begin to subconsciously create all of
the rules that keep the structure of that belief in place.
And when you discover these rules, you can begin to
change them and dismantle the core belief itself. It's as
(06:15):
simple as asking yourself what rules you hold in your
life that you abide by. Here are some rules that
might apply to the I'm not good enough core belief,
or it can be used as examples. I never expect
to get ahead. I never expect to try hard. I
don't put myself in a position where I might make mistakes.
(06:36):
I don't say yes to things that might put me
outside of my comfort zone. I never take risks. I
always put my desires on the back burner. I always
rely on the opinions of others. I often reject compliments.
I never take action towards my goals. So you can
(06:59):
probably see these types of rules are going and there's
a common theme here. They're usually things that have never
and always in front of them. These types of rules
create a feeling of powerlessness because they are often associated
with some type of imagined scenario where a catastrophe occurs
if the rule is broken. Additionally, these rules are often
(07:19):
subconsciously put in place to protect you and keep you
from confronting the true core belief that they all stem from.
In this example, that would be the I'm not good
enough belief discovered in the downward aero technique. So, once again,
once you've discovered your core belief that needs to change
and all of the rules around that belief that need
to be dismantled, now you have the tools to begin
(07:39):
to rewire in something new. But this is going to
take action on your part. You're going to do this
by focusing on one of your rules that you've discovered
and then deliberately breaking that rule. Try to approach this
process like an experiment. You can even keep a logbook
when you do this, and I highly recommend doing that. Initially,
I recommend choosing one of your lower fear rules that
(08:01):
causes you the least anxiety, as well as one that
you can observe an immediate outcome from. The outcome from
breaking your rules should be measurable with a clear behavioral
result and a feeling state associated with that result. This
is how you're going to break the subconscious belief that
holds you back and rewire in new information. For example,
(08:21):
let's use the rule I never take action towards my goals.
This is a good one to test because you can
prove to yourself in very short time that you do
one take action towards your goals, and two feel powerful
versus powerless in doing so. This makes it easy to
see the outcome and feel any changes that result, and
those two things are going to highly impress the subconscious mind.
(08:45):
So your action can be as big or as small
as you deem fit, but continue to challenge these actions
by making them larger until you feel that this rule
has been completely chattered. For example, you might start out
by looking on lines at ways to reach your specific goal.
The next day take the action of going somewhere related
to moving you closer to your goal, and then the
following day you might seek out a conversation with someone
(09:06):
who has information about your specific goal. The more you
persist in your new actions, the more that this rule dissipates.
I also recommend that before enacting this new behavior, visualize
the outcome that you're intending, act it out in your
mind in a way that gives you a clear and
positive result, and feel how it feels to have the
positive result manifested. After you have done this and you're
(09:29):
feeling good about it in your mind, then take the action.
And once you've taken your action, measured the outcome in
your log book, ask yourself, did breaking this rule cause
any major catastrophe that you might have once thought of
happening prior to your new outlook. You're simply collecting data
in this experiment so that you can fine tune your action.
(09:49):
And maybe it didn't turn out perfectly, but you did it.
You broke your own rule, and everything was most likely
okay because of that. As already mentioned, when it comes
to limiting core belief, they're often connected to a catastrophic
outcome that isn't all that reasonable. So proving to yourself
that this isn't true change is the structure of the
belief systems within your subconscious mind. Next, you'll want to
(10:12):
move systematically through the rules that keep your limiting core
belief intact until you've broken all of them. And as
you break these rules, you dismantle the core belief that
once held you back. So you might wonder, how does
this actually rewire my subconscious mind. Our subconscious minds have
a natural ability to change for our benefit. We simply
need to provide the right information so that it can
(10:34):
change unwanted programming instead of reinforcing it. If we're continuing
to go through our rules each and every day and
abide by them, then we're actually reinforcing the old program
that's holding us back. But the subconscious mind is driven
by repetition results and feeling states, So when we take
control of the mind that is in control of us,
(10:54):
we need to rewire it through repetition results and the
associated feeling states of those results. Even the slightest challenge
that you give yourself and overcome creates these types of
results and feeling states that highly impress the subconscious mind
to make the change that's needed. And making the commitment
to do this daily wires in those things as a
(11:15):
new set of positive rules and parameters for the subconscious
mind to use to guide you through life and drive
you effortlessly to everything that you'd prefer to experience. When
you've used this technique for thirty days or longer. Please

others may benefit from seeing the power that they also
have within them to change their life.
