Speaker 2 (00:21):
Hey everyone, I am
super excited to be recording
this episode today, gettingready for the kickoff of Imaging
USA, just a few short days awayfrom me, heading up to the
Dallas area for imaging which isalways nice when imaging is in
Texas, since I live in Houston,so just a quick drive down the
road for us from Houston.
(00:42):
So I wanted to make thisepisode today about imaging,
kind of what to expect, somethings that you might need to
know going into it, especiallyif it's your first time or if
you're like man I've been beforebut I just feel like I haven't
made the most out of it.
So hopefully this episode willhelp you get some tips and some
tricks on really how to make themost out of imaging, how to go
(01:02):
into it with an open mind, howto go into it and not be
overwhelmed by all the thingsand all the information you're
going to learn.
And hopefully, at least afterlistening to this episode,
you'll feel like you know oneperson going to imaging.
If you don't know anybodythat's going, you'll at least
have heard my voice and gottento know me a little bit on this
episode.
So if you run into me atimaging, make sure you come up
(01:23):
and say hi.
So if you run into me atimaging, make sure you come up
and say hi.
So every year, imaging is justso amazing and I take so many
different things away fromimaging.
Over the last several years.
What I've noticed is that inthe beginning of imaging I would
go and I would learn a lot andI would be really about going to
the classes and going to thetrade show.
And the last few years it'sreally more so become about the
(01:46):
relationships I've built, thepeople I've met there, just
getting to know new people andseeing familiar faces.
And you know, last year was myfirst year ever having a booth
at the trade show, at the expo, and I met so many amazing people
and I was shocked how manypeople were in these groups of
people and they said, like I metthese people at imaging five or
(02:09):
six years ago and we havebecome the best of friends or
now we have such an incrediblerelationship and every year at
imaging now we meet up, we staytogether, we go to all of our
classes together and like theseare my imaging friends and these
are my conference friends andthe relationships I've built
with these people is soincredibly valuable to me and
like they're my ride or dies nowin my business.
(02:31):
So keep in mind that, yes, there are amazing classes, yes,
the trade show is awesome, butit's also about those people
that you meet, and I'm going togive you some tips of how to
best meet people, especially ifyou're an introvert like myself.
But first things first, I'mCorinda.
If you don't know me, you mightbe listening to this episode
(02:51):
because you heard about itthrough some imaging things or
an announcement about imaging, and I hope that you listen to
this and you learn a lot aboutthe conference, some about me,
some practical business tipsthat will help you as you're
going forth in your business aswell.
I am a business coach.
I help photographers find moremagic in their business by
mastering their mindset andmoney, and really it is my goal
to help as many people aspossible build a profitable
(03:14):
photography business that theylove and that really truly feels
magical.
I published a book last year.
We launched our book last yearat Imaging.
It's called the Unicorn and wewill be back this year with our
book again.
So if you did not get a chanceto stop by and chat with us or
you didn't grab the book andyou're wishing you would have.
You'll be able to come by andsee us at the trade show and
grab your copy of our book, theUnicorn.
(03:35):
Let me tell you a little bitmore about that and what it's
about and why I wrote the book, and then we'll dive into some
more things about imaging.
So Unicorn is really theultimate guide to finding magic
inside of your business andbuilding a profitable business
that you love.
I want photographers to reallyunderstand how they're building
(03:55):
their business and build it in away that feels good to them,
instead of going off of thewhole cookie cutter business
doing something just becausesomeone told you to and not
really truly understanding it.
So this book is all aboutteaching you business
fundamentals that are going tohelp you find more magic and
make more money in your business.
It is 400 pages long.
When I wrote the book I thoughtit was going to be like 200
(04:18):
pages, and the more I wrote andthe more I edited and just kept
growing and growing and growing.
So it is a 400 page reallyguide to building a profitable
photography business, if you areinterested in grabbing our book
and it did and just keptgrowing and growing and growing.
So it is a 400 page reallyguide to building a profitable
photography business.
If you are interested ingrabbing our book and you're
looking for a book to read thatwill really give you the A to Z
all the things you need to knowin your business, make sure you
stop by and find us.
Look for the unicorn at thetrade show.
(04:39):
I also.
I have purple ish hair varyingshades so if you're watching
this live on YouTube, you'llnotice my hair is pinkish.
Now it will be more purple atimaging Also.
Just come by, check out ourbook, grab your copy.
We also will have our salesjournal available as well.
Our sales journal is a journalthat will help you set goals and
stick to your goals, but alsotrack your sales as you're going
(05:01):
in your business.
And we also have a posing guidefor horses.
So if we have any horsephotographers, we have a really
great posing guide that willteach you our fine art poses
that we do and how to createmore variety in your fine art
portrait sessions.
So make sure you come by.
We also have a ton of fun things.
We have stickers that areabsolutely incredible.
Last year our stickers were abig hit.
There were people like showingtheir friends their stickers and
(05:23):
people were coming by likewhere did you get these stickers
?
We want stickers too, so wehave lots of fun stickers.
My favorite sticker personallyis going to be done, is better
than perfect.
I think we all need remindersof that.
We also have some fun notebooks, some great little bags and
some other little stuff there atthe trade show.
That will be a surprise, somake sure you come by, say hi,
grab your goodies and check outour book.
(05:43):
So the first time I went toimaging was a little bit
terrifying, I'm not going to lie.
It was one of the imagings thatwas in Texas, I think it was in
San Antonio, and I rememberbeing so overwhelmed I didn't
know anybody.
I didn't know what to expect.
I wish I had the informationthat I'm about to share with you
to help make sure that yourimaging experience is amazing
(06:06):
and not frightening like minewas.
And I say frightening, itwasn't that frightening, it was
just a little bit overwhelming.
I am a bit of an introvert.
I love talking to peopleone-on-one, but you put me in a
big room full of people and I'mlike, oh, this is a lot.
I need to go hide in a cornerfor a little bit and just take a
break from peopling.
(06:26):
So I was a lot overwhelmed byall the people, just all the
things to do, all the classes, not knowing where to go, what to
do all that stuff.
So hopefully this podcast isgoing to help you not feel like
that at imaging this year.
So what do you expect when youfirst get to imaging?
So when you first get there, you will need to check in and
register at the registrationdesk.
(06:47):
You will pick up your name tag.
So there will be a computer youwalk up to.
I think you just kind of typein your information, it pulls up
, you check your information andit prints out a badge or your
name tag.
Now, don't lose your badge, keep it on you, keep it around
your neck, don't run out of yourhotel room or leave it in your
car, because or don't run out ofyour hotel room without it or
(07:08):
leave it in your car they willreprint your name tag, but you
have to pay for the reprint andit's kind of a pain.
So just know, keep it on you, don't lose it.
Keep it in your bag when youget to your hotel room at night,
take it off your neck, put itback in your bag.
The other thing is.
I saw this post in an ImagingUSA like Facebook chat that I'm
in.
People were asking like should Ibring a bag or should I bring
(07:32):
extra bags for the trade show?
I would say you might want toleave a little bit of extra
space if you plan on shopping atthe trade show and like going
wild or buying any equipment oranything like that.
But a lot of times I thinkthey're going to give you a bag
when you get to the conferenceso that way you can put all of
your imaging stuff in that bag.
I will also have some bags.
A lot of the vendors will havebags at their booths as well, so
(07:53):
you might just need a littlelike tote bag just to carry
around, to put your stuff in.
Some people just put it rightin their backpack.
But as far as packing stuff togo home, it really depends on
how much stuff you plan onbuying and if you're going to
buy any fun equipment likelighting that's bigger or
anything like that, how muchroom you're going to want to
leave in your bag going home.
On that same note, I was notgoing to cover this and I wasn't
going to tell Cher what to pack, but I brought my camera the
(08:16):
first couple of times I went toimaging and then I realized I
didn't really necessarily needit.
I think unless you're doing ahands-on class or unless you
want to do like one of the photowalks that they have, you don't
really have to worry aboutbringing equipment, unless you
just want to, just in case.
I'm definitely not that personthat takes my camera everywhere,
so I figured it was best tojust leave it at home and not
worry about traveling with it.
But if you do plan on takingadvantage of, like the photo
(08:44):
walks or any of the hands-onpre-con classes, then you might
want to bring your equipmentwith you.
Same thing goes with mycomputer.
I used to bring my computer.
Then I decided I'm just goingto bring a notebook.
So I just bring a notebook totake notes.
Now Also, I get distracted if Ihave my computer in class.
I don't know about y'all, butI'm that person.
So just a few tips there.
I want to pack and what tobring.
Oh, also, while I'm on thistopic, comfy shoes.
You will be walking a lot.
You'll be walking so much yourfeet will feel like they want to
(09:05):
fall off.
Bring comfy shoes.
I know you might be tempted towear cute shoes.
I now pretty much wear my uglytennis shoes everywhere I go,
because if I don't, my feet hurt.
So just know that if you see mewearing cute shoes that I am
probably in pain.
I probably just put them on fora little bit and most of the
time I'm hiking around whatfeels like the giant conference
(09:26):
center in my comfy tennis shoes.
So keep that in mind.
So, as far as the classes at theconference, there are keynote
events, which are the bigkeynotes at the beginning of the
end that everyone goes to, andthen there's the smaller classes
that happen each day.
There's also tracks that youcan attend.
So you'll notice if you look atthe schedule and you're trying
to decide where to go, therewill be like tracks, like sports
(09:49):
as a track, or portraits, orthere's one that's like I think
it's called bridge the gap.
So there's different tracks youcan kind of attend based on
what your goals are and whatyou're looking to learn.
However, you don't have tostick in one track.
So you might go to a sportsclass here, a portrait class
here, a bridge the gap class.
Here you can skip around fromclass to class.
(10:10):
You don't have to stay in thatsame track that they have there.
So they just kind of categorizethe classes based on those
tracks.
So you have an idea.
In case you are specificallylike I want to focus on sports.
You know these are the classesyou should probably go to, but
jump around, go to differentclasses, go to classes that you
might not necessarily think youneed, but you might be surprised
(10:31):
when you get there that it issomething you need to hear.
And when you go to classes, Iwould also say arrive early for
the really popular sessions.
I know it's hard to know whichsessions are popular, but
sometimes classes fill up prettyquickly, like at the front.
So if you are the person thatwants to sit at the front of the
room, make sure you're gettingthere early.
You can probably squeeze in atthe back if the class is
relatively full.
(10:51):
I think it's been a while sinceI've seen a class where they
actually turned people away.
So you should be fine gettinginto the room.
Just know that if you get therelate you might be at the very
back, and some of these roomsare large so you're going to
feel like you're in another landif you're at the back of the
room, sometimes Also like whenyou show up for class.
I would say this Show up asyour best self.
(11:12):
Show up, be ready to sit whereyou need to sit to make the most
out of it.
I'm that person that has to sitin the front of a room to pay
attention and to get somethingout of it and to see the screen.
Quite honestly, I probably needglasses, but that's a whole
other conversation.
So I have to sit at the frontof the room.
It helps me stay focused andnot get distracted in my ADHD
self that if I'm at the back ofthe room I'm just watching
(11:33):
everyone else and it is not good.
So make sure you show up ontime if you're that person that
needs to sit at the front of theclass to pay attention.
Take lots of notes.
Bring a notebook.
You will go through a lot ofnotebooks, a lot of pages, not a
lot of notebooks.
If you go through a lot ofnotebooks, I will be impressed.
You'll go through a lot ofpages of notes.
Take good notes.
Write down everything you hear, because chances are, your brain
(11:57):
is going to be tired by the endof the conference and you're
going to need that notebook togo back through and slip through
and remember what you learnedin each person's class so you're
not overwhelmed by everything.
Okay, whenever you're going toyour classes, make sure that you
make the most of them bylooking for the golden nuggets.
I always say Look for the tinylittle piece that you can take
(12:19):
and that tiny little thing thatcan make a subtle change in your
business.
Don't feel like every class yougo to you need to take
everything they say at facevalue and implement everything,
because everybody runs theirbusiness differently and
everybody's going to havedifferent advice for the way you
should do things, from lightingand business and whatever it
may be.
Don't go to a class, listen toeverything they say and say I'm
(12:39):
going to go home and burn downmy whole business and start over
from scratch or do everythingthey said because it sounds
amazing.
Take the time to sit there, write down your notes, think
about why the speaker isrecommending these specific
things.
Think about okay, they said Ineed to do this, but why are
they saying this?
Will this work for me and howdoes this actually fit into my
(13:02):
business?
Because the last thing you wantto do after you come home from
a conference all excited is tocome into your business, tear
everything down and then lookback six months from then and
say what was I thinking?
I always like to say tune it up,don't tear it down.
That means what you're doing isgood, no matter where you're at
in your business, no matterwhere you're at in your journey.
(13:24):
What you're doing is good, itjust needs tuning up.
So don't beat yourself up ifyou feel like you go to a class
and you're like, wow, I'm justscrewing everything up.
Nothing I'm doing is what she'stelling me to do or he is
telling me to do.
I'm really screwing this up.
I need to completely tear itdown.
Don't tear it down.
Just remember, if your carengine isn't running to its best
(13:46):
efficiency, you're not going tojust plop a new engine in it.
You're going to go into theengine of your car and you're
going to look for what's notrunning properly and you're
going to tune up your engine.
You're going to try to make itrun more efficiently and more
effectively and you're going todo that one piece at a time.
You're not just going to put awhole new engine in your car.
That doesn't serve you and itwill absolutely lead you to a
(14:11):
place where you're sitting therescratching your head saying
what on earth have I done to mybusiness?
So take a lot of notes, lookfor the golden nuggets and look
for those little tune-ups thatyou can implement in your
business, as opposed to justreplacing the entire engine of
your business.
I like to also say that it'sgood to take all those notes and
(14:33):
come back to it a week or soafter the conference is over,
maybe on your plane ride home.
You flip through your notes, you highlight the things that
you're like oh, this was reallypowerful and I really want to
come back to this and then giveit some time to sit and soak in
and then come back to it on afresh, refreshed brain and mind
which is, like I said, yourbrain's going to be tired and
(14:54):
then decide how am I going toimplement this and why am I
going to implement this in mybusiness?
Does this work for me and whydid this person recommend this?
And why am I going to implementthis into my business?
Does this work for me and whydid this person recommend this?
I think the real thing I wantyou to avoid here is just doing
something because someone elsesaid so.
Sometimes that is good, butnormally just doing something
because someone said so, withoutasking questions or
understanding why they'retelling you to do.
(15:15):
That can cause problems, especially in your business, so
keep that in mind.
Can cause problems, especiallyin your business, so keep that
in mind.
Now let's dive into the expo.
For the expo or the trade show, whatever you want to call it.
I would say my biggest piece ofadvice is take it from a
(15:36):
logical perspective.
I don't know, my words aren'tworking today.
Go in with a plan.
Know what kinds of thingsyou're looking for today.
Go in with a plan.
Know what kinds of thingsyou're looking for, what kind of
things you need to payattention to.
Also, go aisle by aisle.
A few years ago I went with agroup of people and I kept
getting pulled in a bunch ofdifferent directions during the
expo and I remember on the lastday I was like oh crap, I
haven't made it over here orover there.
I haven't seen this personbecause I didn't take time to
(15:58):
walk down every aisle and makesure I hit everything I wanted
to hit.
I just was kind of all over theplace.
So, methodically, work your waythrough the aisles and make sure
you get to see everything.
Explore all of those differentproduct offerings like wall art
and albums from all thedifferent labs.
Also, gear there's so much gearthere, so much lighting you
have and all of those goodthings.
Explore all of it, look at itall.
(16:19):
Even if you're like I don'teven know if I need this right
now, I don't even know if I needto find an album company right
now, just go look at albums andsee what stands out to you.
You might be surprised and youmight find something that you
didn't know you really needed touse in your business.
My other piece of advice thereis take pictures and videos as
you walk through the trade show.
This is really helpful becauseyou'll see so many things and
you'll be like I saw this reallybeautiful album.
(16:41):
I don't know where I saw it.
Take pictures and videos andyou can even do some commentary
as you're taking a picture or avideo of that thing, like, oh, I
love this album, this is sopretty, I love the colors and
this is at XYZ vendor.
And take a video showing thealbum and the vendor's booth so
you remember what their name is.
Talk while you're videoing itlike a crazy person, so that way
(17:07):
you don't forget after theconference when you're going
back trying to remember what youloved or what you hated.
You can just flip through yourcamera roll and watch those
quick videos that you took.
The other thing is, too, sometimes on the last day you
can get like floor models orthings that were used during the
trade show at a discountedprice.
I've done that before with somelighting equipment.
Don't feel pressured to buyanything on the spot either.
I know you kind of cansometimes get caught up in this,
(17:28):
like, oh, I'm at the trade show, it's a special price, I better
buy it now.
And I would say don't get toocaught up in that like, oh, I
need this new shiny thingwithout knowing that you
actually need it.
You can always research andcome back and get it later.
Trust me, it will still bethere.
You might pay a little bit more, but it's better than buying
something you didn't actuallyneed.
The other thing is networkingopportunities.
(17:49):
There are so many opportunitiesto network.
Introduce yourself to vendors.
Get to know your vendors thatyou're already using.
Tell them who you are.
Don't just like walk past avendor and be like, oh, I
already use them.
No, go up like meet the people.
Get to know them, introduceyourself.
They want to meet you.
I had so much fun last yeargetting to meet the people at
Photo Day.
I do some dance studio work.
I primarily photograph horses,but I also photograph a dance
(18:12):
studio every year and I got togo by and meet the people at
Photo Day and they were like weremember you from the chat
bubble.
I was like, yes, that's me.
I'm sorry, I'm your problemchild that asks so many
questions.
And they were like, no, no,we're so glad to meet you.
And they were so fun and theywere.
It was so cool to actually likeput a face to the name that you
see when you talk to them onthe chat bubble or on email and
(18:34):
also they're a pretty coolcompany and I love what they do.
So if you and you're into sportsor volume stuff, make sure you
go check them out.
Just talk to them.
Also, don't be afraid to talkto fellow photographers.
Just talk to random people.
You know that is really reallyimportant when you bump into
somebody or somebody is lookingat something and you're like, oh
, I use this product, I lovethis.
Let me tell you about it.
(18:55):
Like, tell them about it, stepin help, if you can Just
introduce yourself.
Tell them if they havequestions, you can help them
right.
Just be helpful and just don'tbe afraid to talk to other
photographers around the tradeshow.
As you're wandering around,I've met some really fun people
that way.
Normally conversations arestarted by my hair color, from
strangers at expos, but I've hadsome really fun conversations
(19:17):
with people that I've bumpedinto at the expo.
The next thing I want to talk toyou about is networking and
just socializing in general.
There are evening events.
There's like opening parties, different things that happen.
There's a lot of casual meetups.
So, for example, I'll behosting a meetup at some point
in time during the conference.
I call it a pet and equinephotography meetup because I
(19:39):
know a lot of pet and equinephotographers.
We kind of do something fun,but everyone's welcome to come.
Last year we had a lot ofnon-pet or equine photographers
come hang out.
But if you're interested inthat, reach out to me on social
media, at MasterYourMindMoney,on Instagram, and I can get you
the details.
I am still finalizing thelocation, the time, the date,
all that good stuff, because Iam not exactly sure where we're
(20:00):
going to meet up.
I have to get to the venuefirst and kind of see where some
good places are, but we'regoing to be doing some meetups.
A lot of different groups andorganizations do some little
casual meetups at differentplaces around in the evenings,
during the day, lunchtime, stuff.
So make sure you keep an eyeout for those things and, you
know, check in with people andbe like do you know anyone doing
(20:25):
any fun meetups?
Because it's a great place tocasually sit down and get to
know people on a more personallevel.
Attend the parties, the welcomeand the closing parties
Definitely attend those.
They can sometimes feel like Ijust want to go back to my hotel
and sleep.
Just go to the parties, havefun, enjoy it While you're there
.
You might as well don't go backto your hotel room and just go
to sleep.
Go socialize, go meet people.
I promise if you don't knowanybody to go with, you will
(20:46):
find somebody walking to theparty and be like, hey, I don't
know anybody, can I hang outwith you?
And just literally, even ifyou're an introvert and even
that's scary, just talk tosomebody random and see if you
can hang out with them.
I promise you that people arenot that scary.
Everyone, most people there, have felt that way at some point
(21:06):
in time in their journey ofgoing to imaging.
So just ask somebody if you cantag along with them.
Take advantage to downtime totalk to others, whether it's
when you first get to class.
Introduce yourself to yourneighbor, tell your neighbor
like, hey, oh, my gosh, here'swho I am, here's what I do.
I would love to connect, youknow, connect with them on
social media, get theirinformation.
Just talk to the people aroundyou.
I am a big believer that if youare sitting there feeling like
(21:32):
uncomfortable or like I don'tknow anybody or oh, this is
weird I feel so out of placethat the person next to you is
probably feeling the same way,and the best way to fix it for
yourself and to help someoneelse is just to turn and
introduce yourself to somebody.
A few years ago, I kind of madeit my goal that when I went to a
class on imaging, every time Isat down, I was going to turn to
(21:53):
my left, introduce myself, turnto my right, introduce myself
and just meet the people aroundme, and I think that's a really
good way.
There's always that personthat's sitting there like I
don't know.
They're just like sitting theretalking by themselves, or
there's, you know, always people, groups of people that are
talking to each other, but justgo the extra mile to say hi, to
introduce yourself and to talkto somebody else.
(22:13):
Even if you are the introvertthat is dying inside and the
thought of talking to a strangeris the worst.
I promise you it will be soworth it.
The connections you'll make andthe relationships you'll build.
I promise you it will be soworth it.
The connections you'll make andthe relationships you'll build.
And also, if you see me, ifyou're walking around the the
conference, if you see mesneaking into a class, if you
see me at the trade show, comesay hi.
I will have purple hair, like Isaid, probably brighter purple
(22:39):
than it is right now.
If you're watching this live,it's a varying shade of purple,
it always changes and I lovewearing hot pink pants.
So I have some signature hotpink pants or some fuchsia pants
that I love to wear when I goto conferences.
So if you see a pair of hotpink pants, it might be me.
Look for the colorful hair andbright hot pink colors and
that's probably me and comeintroduce yourselves.
(23:01):
I would love to meet you.
If you're going to be at theconference, send me a DM on
social media, so I know it'lllook for you.
Last year I said this on thepodcast and I had so many random
people come up to me andintroduce themselves and just
say hi and say they listened tothe podcast, which was
incredibly fun.
Also, if you come say hi to meand you find me around even
before the trade show starts, Iwill have some goodies with me
to give to you, so keep that inmind.
(23:22):
I'm actually getting into townon Wednesday before the
conference starts, so I'll bearound during all the pre-con
stuff just hanging out and doingI don't know what, just walking
around and meeting people, Iguess.
So if you see me, feel free tocome say hi.
The next thing is, if it's yourfirst time, if it's your first
time, don't be afraid to ask forhelp.
(23:43):
If you're lost, ask somebody.
If you don't know where youshould be going, what you should
be doing, just ask somebody.
If you're listening to this andyou have questions and you're
not sure where to turn, what todo, reach out to me on social
media.
I have a Facebook group forimaging like getting to know
each other.
I'll post that in the shownotes as well, so you can join
that if you want to.
But just ask, right.
If somebody looks lonely orthey look lost, offer to help
(24:06):
them, right?
None of us know where we'regoing is something that
everybody feels like in imaging.
I will say every year.
You're like I don't know whereI'm going, where is this class,
what's happening?
So it's okay if you feel likeyou don't know where you're
going or where your class is.
Everyone else there probablyfeels the same way.
The maps can be confusing.
There's so many rooms that arelabeled like I don't know random
(24:28):
things, so it's fine.
If you feel like that You'renot alone, just ask somebody
else.
A lot of times you'll bewalking to class and someone
else looks lost and you're likewhere are you going?
And they're like I'm lookingfor this ballroom, and you're
like me too, let's find ittogether.
And you end up walking to classwith the person.
(24:50):
So that's always a funexperience.
The other thing I want to shareis that there are lots of other
conferences too that you can goto, other than imaging.
Last year I actually went toCanadian imaging, which was so
fun.
I spoke at Canadian imaging andI had an absolute blast.
I really wanted to try to gothis year, just to attend.
I'm not speaking this year, Ispoke last year but I kind of
wanted to go just to attend andjust hang out because it was
such a good group of people.
It was such a small, likesmaller group setting and
(25:13):
everybody felt like they kneweverybody and everyone was so,
so kind and friendly.
So if you're looking for asmaller kind of more intimate
setting to go to in conferences,I recommend Canadian Imaging.
It's open to you, regardless ofwhere you live.
You can fly to Canada and go.
Also, it's beautiful.
Last year we went on a whalewatching tour after the
conference, which was theneatest thing ever.
I just wanted to get back onthe boat and keep going whale
(25:35):
watching tours all day, but Imet so many great people there.
I also really love Texas School.
Texas School is a great thingto go to.
They have an awesome trade showand you are in one instructor's
class the entire time duringthe five-day Texas School.
It's really fun because you getreally immersed, in-depth
(25:56):
information from your instructorand it's just totally different
.
It feels like a Texas Schoolfamily.
It's been a number of yearssince I've been able to go
because of my schedule and italways falls in my busy, busiest
time of the year and I'mnormally out of town traveling
for sessions, but if you everget a chance to go, I highly
recommend checking it out.
(26:17):
So I hope all of this has beenhelpful.
I hope that this will help yougo into imaging with a different
perspective, with a differentoutlook.
I just really hope that eachand every one of you go into
this conference you know whatyou're doing, you know what to
expect and you can meet some newpeople, you can take away some
of those golden nuggets and youcan return home from the
(26:37):
conference really putting somelittle tune-ups into your engine
of your business and knowingthat subtle little changes can
truly make a big difference inyour business and what you're
doing and the way you'reshooting and all of those things
, and that whatever you're doingright now is good.
It's good no matter what youlearn or what you hear at the
conference.
What you're doing currently isgood and you are doing a good
(26:59):
job in your business.
Just by being at the conference.
You are doing a good job.
So keep that in mind.
Don't get down on yourself.
If you feel like overwhelmed oryou're like I'm not doing it
right, come by and see me at thebooth, we're going to have lots
of fun giveaways.
Like I said, we have someunicorn squeezy stress balls.
They're really fun.
We don't have a whole lot ofthem left, but we do have some.
(27:22):
So if you come see me on thefirst day and you really want a
unicorn stress ball, I gotcha.
They're super fun.
We have our books, lots of funthings, all of those amazing
stickers.
So make sure you come by.

your Mind Money and tell me ifyou're coming to the conference.
I cannot wait to meet so manyof you.
(27:43):
And and tell me if you'recoming to the conference.
I cannot wait to meet so manyof you.
And also, if you've beenlistening to the podcast a while
, if you're new here, if you'vebeen to my online trainings,
just come by and like reallyintroduce yourself.
Like I promise I'm not big andscary in person.
I am like super normal.
Come see me, give me a hug, sayhi.
If you're a hugger, I will hugyou back.
I am not a hug.
Say hi, if you're a hugger, Iwill hug you back.
(28:03):
I am not a hugger personally, but if you come out to me and
you give me a hug, then I willdefinitely hug you back.
And I accidentally spilled thislast year and I had a bunch of
people come up and give me hugs, which was hilarious and great
because I knew they listened tothe podcast episode.
So make sure you come by andsay hi, I would love to meet you
, I'd love to give you a hug.
Even though I'm not a hugger, Ipromise I will give you a hug
back.

business that looks and feelslike a unicorn for you, whatever
that may be, and it's going tobe really amazing.
I cannot wait for this.

that Go to the right by oneblock of booths I'm on that row.

and stuff, so look for me overthere.
(29:28):
