Text me where you want to go next!

Step through a narrow canyon where walls of rose-colored stone reach toward the sky and emerge into a hidden world that feels like a dream made solid. Our guided meditation to Petra invites you to experience the wonder of Jordan's ancient city without leaving your comfortable spot.

The journey begins as we guide you through the Siq, a mile-long winding pathway surrounded by towering cliffs that glow with shades of pink, amber, and deep red. As your imagination walks this ancient path, you'll experience the same breathtaking reveal that has captivated travelers for centuries—the Treasury building, carved directly into the mountainside, appearing between the canyon walls like a vision from another time.

This meditation blends sensory-rich visualization with fascinating historical insights about the "Rose City." You'll learn how this remarkable place served as a bustling trade hub connecting civilizations from Egypt to Greece and Arabia, with caravans carrying spices, silk, and gold through its narrow passages. Discover how Petra remained hidden from the Western world until 1812, and why its 800+ tombs, temples, and caves have earned it recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Whether you're seeking a moment of calm in your busy day or nurturing your curiosity about ancient wonders, this meditation offers both peace and discovery. Take this journey with us, and whenever you need a place to feel brave, calm, and full of wonder, Petra's timeless beauty will be waiting for you—accessible through nothing more than your breath and imagination.

, here are some fascinatingthings to know about this
magnificent location.
Let's start with the color.

(07:34):
Did you know that Petra iscalled the Rose City?
That's because the stone ispink and red, like a giant
sunset frozen in the cliff.
When the sun shines on it, thewalls seem to glow like magic.
A long time ago, petra wasn'tjust for exploring.
It was a busy city for trading.
People come from places likeEgypt, greece and Arabia to
trade spices, silk and even gold.
Imagine camels carrying bigbaskets of treasure right

(07:56):
through these narrow canyons.
Speaking of narrow, the path ofPetra the sick is also about
one mile long.
Sometimes it's so skinny thatjust one camel can fit through.
Can you imagine walking throughthere and then seeing the
treasury appear like a secretsurprise?
And guess what?
The treasury wasn't actuallyused to keep treasure.

(08:18):
Nope, it was a tomb for a kingcarved right into the cliff.
But people loved imaginingstories about hidden gold inside
.
There are over 800 tombs, temples and caves carved into
the cliffs of Petra.
Some are up high, some arehidden low, and they all hold
stories from a time long ago.

(08:38):
And here's something super cool.
Petra was a secret place for along, long time.
It was only found again by aEuropean explorer in 1812.
That's over 200 years ago.
So when you imagine walkingthrough Petra, you're seeing
something that was once lost tothe world.
And Petra is UNESCO WorldHeritage Site and one of the new

(09:01):
seven wonders of the world, protected so that its magic and
mystery can be shared for many, many years to come.
