My friend Irene and I chat about budgeting for a pet, what kind of prep you need to do in order to become a pet owner, adopting vs. buying, and unexpected costs Irene encountered in her first year of adopting her greyhound, Toby. Irene mentions that feeding her dog raw is one of the largest recurring expenses, but after recording we were chatting and she mentioned that making your own raw blend is a more affordable option!
