I had the honor and privilege of speaking to Michael's mother and brother, Scherry and Cedric. Thank you both for your time as I know this was extremely difficult to discuss. On June 10th, 2022, Michael Smith was reported missing by his mother Scherry, which also happened to be her birthday. Michael was thirty-eight at the time of his disappearance. Michael is a man of faith, with a strong belief in God. While living in Texas, he had his own home, his own truck, went to church on a regular basis, and worked two jobs. One job was to pay for his child support, the other job was for his living expenses.
