Pull a seat up at the table and join us in a conversation with Dr. Reggie Ogea, Professor of Leadership and Pastoral Ministry at NOBTS.  We dive into his research in a presentation titled "Critical Factors in Pastoral Tenure."  The average pastoral tenure in the Southern Baptist Convention is 3.5 to 4 years.  Churches struggle to find pastors for their congregations as the dropout rate of pastors increases annually.
