(00:03):
Hey Bubba Buddies, welcome back to Mr. Matt's Story Time.
Today's episode is a special crossover story brought to you
by our friends at Scary Stories for Creepy Kids.
I'm reading one of their storiesand they're reading one of mine,
so check them out. They're available wherever you
listen to me now. This is Burger Head.
(00:29):
There once was a boy named Ari. He was a normal kid who liked to
run and play and do kids stuff, you know, like play Minecraft.
However, there was one thing a bit different about him.
Ever since he had his very firsthamburger, that was all he would
eat the second he bit down on his first juicy all beef Patty.
(00:54):
He had never been the same. He refused to eat anything else.
For breakfast, he ate hamburgers.
For lunch. It was hamburgers.
And dinner, of course, was. Well, you guessed it.
His parents tried to warn him you can't just eat hamburgers so
you won't grow up healthy, but he just wouldn't listen and
(01:18):
continued his hamburger in ways.If his parents even tried to
feed him anything else, Ari would have a mega meltdown.
After so much fighting and public embarrassment, his
parents finally gave up trying other foods and gave him his
burgers upon burgers upon burgers.
One day when the family was on aroad trip, they went to a
(01:41):
restaurant that, uh oh, didn't serve.
You know what? And Ari started having one of
his epic fits crying and screaming and throwing things.
His parents were desperate, but there were no other restaurants
for miles. They begged and pleaded with
their son to stop, but it made no difference.
(02:01):
The parents were desperate. What were they to do?
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a man in a black suit with a Black Hat
appeared. The man in black cackled this to
the parents. Ha ha ha.
Quite the kids you have there. And pretty desperate for a
(02:22):
hamburger. I can offer him a Caesar salad
instead, or he can have this hamburger I have right here,
pulling one out of the sack he was carrying.
But parents be warned, if he chooses the hamburger, there
will be a large price to pay. Ari's frantic, panicking parents
(02:46):
replied to the man in Black. How much for the hamburger, $20.
Thirty 100. We will pay anything, the man in
black sneered back. Oh, he said.
The price will not be money, andyour boy must make the decision.
(03:06):
He walked over to the screaming boy.
Ari, you can have the Caesar salad or you can have this
hamburger. But the burger, my boy, comes
with a great price to pay indeed.
Ari did not hesitate. He grabbed the burger and
(03:28):
gobbled it down. He didn't even look at it, for
he had. He would have noticed the wiggly
worms dripping from it and the green mold on top of it and the
sticky slime oozing out of it. Nope.
He just ate it like he'd never eaten anything before and it was
terrible. The maid in black just smiled
(03:49):
and said enjoy your time together, the time you have
left. That is.
After this crazy occurrence, thefamily got in their car to head
home. Ari was unusually tired and fell
straight to sleep. He snoozed all the way home and
(04:11):
his parents carried him to his bed, still sleeping.
They were a little concerned, but were exhausted themselves
and went straight to bed. When Ari awoke, he felt
different. His face felt beefy, his mouth
felt cheesy, and his hair felt legacy.
(04:32):
He looked into the mirror in hisbedroom and to his utter shock,
his head had turned into a giantburger.
His eyes, if you would even callthem that, were now two large
pickle slices. His face was an all beef Patty
and his mouth was made of cheese.
(04:53):
He screamed for his parents who came rushing for Ari and then
they screamed as well. The parents realized the man in
black had tricked them, So what could they do now?
They decided to leave Ari at home while they searched for the
man in black. While they were away, however,
Ari started to get hungry. He still had a craving for
nothing but hamburgers. No one was home to make him
(05:15):
anything, and he couldn't go outin public with a hamburger head.
Suddenly he got an idea. What if he took a bite of his
own head? Just the nibble.
That'd be fine, right? He ripped off a little piece of
bun from his head and it didn't hurt at all and tossed it into
his cheesy mouth. Delicious, he thought.
He pulled a piece of his all beef Patty face and tossed it
(05:38):
into his mouth. It was the tastiest burger
flavor of his life. Ari knew he had to stop, but he
couldn't. He tasted too good.
There was yummy pickle eyes. He ripped them right out and
tossed them back in one gulp. That lettuce hair, that bunhead,
(05:59):
that beef face. Gulp, gulp, goop, and finally
that cheesy mouth gulp. And before Ari knew it, he
didn't have to worry about his Burger Head problem anymore.
His Burger Head was gone. The End.
And that, my friends, was BurgerHead.
