Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Mixed and Mastered.
Extra credit who would be likeyour dream artist of style that
you haven't worked with yet?
And it could be from the past.
It could be, you know, ellaFitzgerald.
It could be anybody, justwhatever.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Okay, I mean, my number one is Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson, if I couldever style anyone, it would have
been Michael Jackson.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Michael's style is so interesting because you look at
it now and you realize he waslike 50 years in front of
everybody 50 years in front ofeveryone.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
He just had this uniform, but not so uniform
sense of style, loved to playwith different silhouettes.
Everything, I don't care whatMichael Jackson wore, everything
had a touch of elegance.
And when you saw MichaelJackson, oh, I can only imagine

(00:57):
when you were actually dressingMichael Jackson.
You were dressing a superstar.
That's something that I feellike.
I don't want to diss Beyonce, but there are very few
superstars.
Yes, yes, that was a man madeof pure magic.

(01:20):
So, michael Jackson, if there'sanyone that I could have ever
dressed in my life, or if Icould go back in time, it's
Michael Jackson.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
OK, ok, ok, yeah, ok, give me your three favorite
designers.
And why are they your threefavorites?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Tom Ford is my number one favorite because he
understands luxury on anotherlevel, understands luxury on
another level.
It's not about logo, it's notabout trend.
Anything Tom has done you canwear now or you can wear in 20

(01:58):
years.
So he's going to use the mostmagnificent leather.
He's going to use the greatestexotics of crocodile, down to
Tom Ford's zippers.
If you actually are able tojust to see a Tom Ford, his
zippers are custom made.
The teeth are special in a TomFord zipper.
His fragrance is amazing.
It's lifestyle.
So it's not just fashion design, whether it's a candle, whether
it's eyewear, whether it'sfootwear, whether it's

(02:21):
clothingwear, whether it'sclothing, everything about Tom
Ford is luxury because it's life, wear, lifestyle.
So Tom Ford is my number one.
It's crazy another Tom.
I love Tom Brown.
I love what Tom Brown doesbecause it sort of kind of takes
me back to if I ever takes meback to childhood.

(02:42):
If I ever had to wear a uniform, I wouldn't mind wearing a Tom
Brown uniform.
You know it's Tom Brown whenyou see it.
I love it because it has itsown identity.
Anything that he does, you canactually connect the.
I can actually just connect andsay that's Tom Brown.
Now, obviously it's like.

(03:04):
It reminds me, it's reminiscentof, like the Adidas stripe, but
on a luxury level.
So you know Tom Brown when yousee it.
So for me, I love him becauseof how he's been able to be so
creative, so diverse, soversatile, but also so signature
at the same time.
And then, third would probablybe damn, who would I go to as my

(03:32):
third?
Who do I love?
I mean, I love.
So I have two.
I have two finals.
So the first one would beLaquan Smith, because to me

(03:53):
Laquan is is the new sexy.
He's old Hollywood glamour.
He's modern, he's sexy, he'schic, and I feel like there
aren't really a lot of designerswho are actually designing like
that today that know and careand love a woman's body the way
that Laquan does.
So I love Laquan Smith.
And then I also love SergioHudson, because Sergio Hudson is

(04:16):
just classic style to me.
Okay, so those are my final two, so I have four, unfortunately.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Is there a fashion movie, either documentary or
film or nonfiction or whatever, that you would recommend to
somebody to watch that you love, just for the style of?

Speaker 2 (04:31):
it.
If you want a style reference,I think that you should go back.
Anyone should go back totelevision and just watch sex in
the city.
Any season, any time, any era, watch sex in the city.
The magic that patricia feelsand molly were able to create
those were the two costumedesigners on that at that time

(04:53):
was like something I'd neverseen before.
And if it's a movie, I'd saywatch Devil Wears Prada, which
again is Patricia Philz.
So those are my two go-tos.
If you want to actually havesome type of style reference or
or or guide to go to, that'swhat you should do.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
You're a world traveler.
You've vacationed in some ofthe most luxurious places ever.
What is your favorite vacationplace?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
It used to be Anguilla, but that's because I
love the sand, I love that beach.
That was a special place to me.
But now I love to go into StMaxime, which is about two hours
from Nice, and then hop aroundfrom, like Saint-Tropez, to

(05:44):
Grasse, where you can go makeyour own fragrance to Cannes.
So it's definitely the European, the.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Mediterranean.
So it's definitely the European, it's definitely the
Mediterranean yes, theMediterranean, but that's my
favorite.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
I would say that's what it is see, that might have
been too fly.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
That's another level.
It's someone it's educationit's dope.
I'm not downplaying, I'm justlike.
Even I was like oh, you canmake.
People are hearing that and Iknow you can make your own
fragrance and stuff.
Yes, you're putting people upon game.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
You know what I'm saying, but it's true and I want
to share that experience withsomeone because someone shared
it with me.
So I mean, I discovered it.
But Go to Europe, go toSaint-Tropez, visit Cannes and
then visit Grasse, and go makeyourself your own signature
fragrance.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
That's dope, that's dope, that's dope.
