Scott Rowe is a bit of a contemporary Renaissance Man. He's a cook, a teacher, a healer, a community advocate, a writer, and many other things besides. But one of his great passions is fthe art of person-to-person hospitality: and of making someone feel comfortable, safe, and restored after being his guest for a while.
In this episode we look into what it means to care deeply about doing arts with intention and flow, the transformative power of Food and rest as medicine, and some of the ways in which money isn't the only way to pay artists for their efforts and leave them feeling nourished, and restored in return. That there's an art and skill to both giving and receiving hospitality, and that being a good guest is as great a skill as being a good host.
