PT 3: Gonçalo Hall is a parent, CEO and founder of NomadX, co-founder of Gosa Experience, a digital nomadism consultant, speaker and community leader. In our third and final episode, we talk about the early days of parenthood and realizing you can't do it all, being present and his vision for the future of borderless talent.

THINGS WE TALK ABOUT:

  • What he wishes someone would have told him about becoming a new parent and an entrepreneur, during a period when he didn't stop working
  • Speaking to other Dads about difficulties during the postpartum period, caregiving duties he couldn't help with and not being able to 'do it all'
  • How his partner and him decided to divide up caregiving and work in the early days
  • The importance of being present for his partner and daughter, as he doesn't currently outsource or automate all aspects of his business
  • Batching his travel, conferences and other engagements to spend shorter amounts of time away from his family
  • His vision when it comes to borderless talent, being a digital nomad family and connecting with others around the world mixing babies and business in future

Thanks again to Gonçalo for speaking with me about his first year of being a parent and an entrepreneur, adapting to digital nomad life with a family and how it is impacting the ways he does business and builds communities with other collaborators.

Season 6 is sponsored by the Mixing Babies And Business Changemaker Program – for people who want to do things differently, create an impact and advocate for primary caregivers and their families along the way: mixingbabiesandbusiness.com/changemaker

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
