Trust is the invisible currency of business success, yet it remains elusive for many entrepreneurs and coaches. If you've been struggling to get noticed, build credibility, or convert prospects into clients, this episode tackles the heart of that challenge.

When life coach Cynthia asked how to get more people to know, like, and trust her, we uncovered the three foundations that create genuine trust: making people feel truly seen and understood, demonstrating credibility without self-promotion, and showing up both consistently and authentically. The surprising truth? Most business owners focus too heavily on consistency alone, missing the deeper emotional connections that transform casual followers into devoted clients.

Many coaches believe that appearing polished and perfect is the path to being liked, but our experience proves the opposite. Your vulnerability and authenticity create far stronger connections than any carefully curated image. Real trust isn't built in grand gestures but accumulates through numerous small moments where your audience feels genuinely understood. This episode provides actionable strategies to create these trust-building moments through thoughtful engagement and content that speaks directly to your audience's challenges.

Whether you're just starting your coaching business or looking to deepen relationships with existing clients, this framework will help you build trust naturally, without feeling salesy or inauthentic. Ready to be seen as the trusted authority you truly are? trust you and actually want towork with you?

trust you, and if you're notbuilding real connections, then
you're leaving someopportunities on the table.
In this video, we're going toshare the biggest mistakes that
are keeping people from trustingyou, and what to do instead.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Hi, I'm Cynthia, a life coach.
I help people who have suffereda loss of someone that they
truly, truly love To find hopefor better days and inspiration
to carry on.
A challenge I'm currentlyfacing is getting more people to

(00:59):
know, like and trust me.
Why is that important?
You ask like and trust me.
Why is that important, you ask?
It's important for those threethings to me because the process
becomes so much more beautifuland rewarding for everyone in
the room.
What would you suggest?

Speaker 3 (01:20):
So this question at the end of the day is that
success in business isn't whatyou sell.
It's about the relationship youbuild with your audience.
Most people think that trust isjust about showing up
consistently, but there's adeeper layer to it that makes
all the difference.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
So people don't trust you just because you show up,
even though that is kind ofimportant.
People actually trust you forthree specific reasons.
Number one is you make themfeel seen and understood.
Number two is you demonstrateyour credibility without
bragging.
And number three, you show upconsistently, but also
authentically.
Now, having coached a lot ofpeople, we hear that some people

(01:57):
feel that being liked has a lotto do with how polished you are
, how perfect everything looksand how Instagram ready your
photos are.
But in reality, authenticityand vulnerability is really what
people connect with, and themore real you are, the more that
people will connect with you.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
So I think about it this way that trust isn't built
in a single moment.
It's a series of small momentswhere people just feel that you
get them.
So start engaging before yousell Comment on other people's
content, Ask thoughtfulquestions and create content
that speaks directly to youraudience's troubles.
And if you want to go evendeeper, there's a framework we
