Meet Ursula Sabia Sukinik, CD, CDT, CMA, CBE, CLC. She is the CEO and Founder of Birth You Desire, which has been offering Doula Services and Birth Classes in the DC Metro Area and Phoenix, AZ. since 1999.Learn how cervical cancer set her on the path to becoming not only a mother of two and a CEO of an award-winning Doula Service, but also an empathetic and compassionate supporter of birthing people all over the world. We discuss how the efficiency of modern labor and delivery methods can leave the mom feeling empty and sometimes even traumatized, and how a doula can help fill the gaps between you and your provider, and sometimes even your own partner and family!
