Merry
Christmas accelerators.
I am so happy to be in yourearbuds for just a short period
of time, the day afterChristmas.
I'm so very thankful for you.
If you are listening in the carbetween your family gatherings
or while the kids are playingwith their gifts, or you're just
stealing a few quiet minutes foryourself, I want you to hear
(00:22):
this.
I'm thankful that you're here, and I'm thankful that you have
chosen to be intentional withyour time and with your plan for
today.
There's no strategy, nocalculating, no figuring
anything else.
That's not what today's about.
It's about remembering, it'sabout receiving, and if you will
(00:43):
let it, today can be all aboutresting as well.
Sometimes the quiet is not asign of emptiness, but it's a
sign of access.
Access back to what matters.
Access to clarity, access topeace.
And if you've been holding yourbreath, hold December, trying to
make it all work, you can exhalenow just for a moment.
This year didn't end the waythat I thought it would.
(01:04):
We walked through fire seasonhere in LA literally watching
people we love lose everything, feeling the anxiety of what we
would take if we had to leave, wondering what could be
replaced, what couldn't.
That kind of experienced changeswhat you value.
Maybe you've had something likethat this year too, where money
suddenly felt very small in theface of what actually matters.
(01:27):
Then of course came to schoolclosing and the questions about
what to do with my kids, adecision to move my best friend
moving away.
There are a lot of movingpieces, a lot of, I thought this
would look different if I couldwhisper something to myself at
the beginning of 2025, I'd sayto myself, Hey.
It's not gonna end how youthink, but as long as you lean
on God and Eric, you're gonna beokay.
(01:49):
Maybe that's for you too, exceptyou know, insert your husband's
name.
Maybe today isn't how youimagined it, but maybe that
doesn't mean you're off course.
I wanna talk to you aboutsomething that I am very proud
of this year.
I finished my first picturebook.
It's called Rosie Earns itherself.
It's a book teaching kids how toearn money on commission, how to
(02:09):
be responsible, how to thinkbeyond instant gratification.
And I realize the story wasn'tjust for kids.
It's definitely for the parents,it's for the families, and it's
for the legacy that you wannaleave.
It represents very deeply what Ibelieve.
Financial peace doesn't comefrom what you buy, it comes from
who you're becoming.
And every time I choose tocreate instead of react this
(02:32):
year, I am reminded.
Legacy is not built in onemoment, but many small moments
of ownership.
Rosie is part of mine.
I cannot wait for the spring foryou to be able to get it in your
hands.
It's going to be amazing.
Rosie earns it herself.
Little Rosie.
She's on the very beginning ofher financial journey, and I
(02:55):
can't wait to share it with youguys.
Not everybody though is going tochoose transformation.
There was something thatsurprised me this year at a
couple that I worked with.
In fact, I started taking overtheir money with my daily money
management program.
They had everything they needed.
They had the system, they hadthe support, they had the
(03:15):
clarity, and they could havecompletely transformed their
lives, and yet they chose notto.
It hit me a lot harder than Ithought it would, especially now
thinking back on it.
Because I realized people don'tchange when they have the
information.
They change, when they have theidentity shift.
You can have all the tools, butif you don't believe that you
(03:37):
are capable, worthy, and ready, you'll stay stuck.
Stuck where comfort feelsfamiliar.
Quiet money begins with youridentity changing.
Not asking, how do I fix this, but who do I want to be in this?
My kids are still in the phasewhere if they get money, they
wanna spend it immediately,instantly.
(03:58):
But this year they got to shopfor kids in need.
And do you know what I noticed?
I made them slow down.
They spent with more intention.
They asked more questions.
They thought longer about it.
They're more careful with givingthan with keeping.
I saw a glimpse of my legacybecause I want my kids to grow
up believing that generosityisn't something we do.
(04:20):
It's part of who we are.
If they're already learning thateven in small ways, then this
year was definitely a success.
One of the best decisions I madethis year was hiring a
nutritionist, not because Icouldn't do it alone, but
because I didn't want to keepdoing it alone.
Working with someone who knewmore than me who could guide me,
could simplify the process, itwasn't just helpful.
(04:42):
It brought me peace, and itreminded me that we don't hire
support because we're weak.
We hire support because we valuepeace enough to invite wisdom.
That's what I want you to carryinto next year.
Not the urgency to figure it allout, but the freedom to accept
help where peace is needed.
Quiet, money is not aboutsilence after chaos.
It's about awareness withouturgency.
(05:05):
It's the moment when you lookaround and think some of the
most important parts of todayweren't bought.
They were experienced.
The laugh.
The little moments, a dinnertable with people you love.
Even if the napkins didn't matchand the casserole was slightly
overcooked, maybe it's just me.
That's legacy.
Quiet money honors that you donot have to have a plan today.
(05:28):
You don't need to auditanything.
You don't need to make up foranything.
Today's the day of peace.
Let it be.
Only that there will always betime to reset.
Next week we'll talk strategy, but today be still.
Notice what was enough.
If in the coming weeks this anoise return, you find yourself
(05:49):
craving clarity, not pressure.
If you want to approach the newyear with peace and purpose,
then I'd love to help you stepinto that intentionally when
you're ready and not rushed.
Because can't we all be rushedthis time of year?
You can schedule a clarity.
call@accelerateyourlegacy.comslash clarity call.
There is no deadline on this.
(06:09):
There's no right time.
When you're ready, I'll be here.
Take one slow breath.
Let it in, let it out.
Let today be enough.
You're doing better than youthink you are.
Merry Christmas Accelerator.
You are making a difference.
