Let's get back to what I'm teaching today.
Have you ever noticed like that?Some people just seem to have it
(05:49):
all. They just have it all.
You see it on Instagram and you're just like, damn, that
girl just keeps manifesting things and things in her life
just keep going so good. They're attracting the success,
the love, the money, and it almost feels like and looks like
it's all happening really effortlessly.
But then on the other side of maybe this is you, maybe you see
others or yourself struggling nomatter what you do and what they

do. So what is the difference?
What is the difference between someone that is truly
manifesting everything that theydesire and you see that they're
just killing it and the difference between someone that
isn't and maybe this is you right now and you're struggling
and you're just like, what the fuck, Sam?
Like I like, I feel like I'm doing all the things.
What is happening? Well, it's not luck.
It's all about the identity. So your reality is a mirror of
(06:39):
who you believe you are. So for example, if right now,
this may be you and you have to be radically honest with
yourself. But if you identify as someone
who consistently struggles with money, then your actions, your
thoughts, your behaviors are going to reinforce that.
And maybe even if you receive unexpected money, you'll somehow
(07:01):
lose it or spend it. Like, have you ever been in this
situation? Or maybe this is your cycle
where you make money and then something happens where you have
to spend it. An emergency or something pops
up or an investment or something, and you just have
like this yo-yo effect inside your bank account.
Well, this is the reason why, because your brain and what
(07:22):
you're focusing on is going to mirror in your reality that
exact thing over and over and over.
But if you identify as someone who is wealthy and successful,
like a successful entrepreneur, your decisions and your energy
is going to align with that version of you.
Keyword. I'm saying identify.
(07:43):
I'm not saying you have to have it already.
Identifying does not mean oh I need to have tons of money in my
bank account. It doesn't mean I have to be the
smartest person in the room. Doesn't mean I have to have the
most successful business. I'm saying identify that you
identify as XY and Z if you didn't know.
I actually went to college and was supposed to go to Med school
(08:06):
before my intuition told me, which at the time didn't know it
was my intuition, but my senior of college, I got this gut
feeling that that was not the path I was supposed to go down.
And what's really interesting isfour years later, I kind of
thought maybe I was kind of guilted into thinking this way,
but I kind of thought my degree was like a waste of time, right?
Like I went to school, I studiedeven in high school, I was doing
(08:29):
college classes for pre Med and everything.
I worked with my butt off, but Ithought it was a waste.
But it's so funny that everything comes around full
circle because This is why I absolutely love teaching and my
degree actually assists me. And now teaching what I teach
today because I have the sciencebackground and I bring in how
(08:52):
the physical human body works and how it enables us or holds
us back and manifesting. What I'm going to educate you on
today is why we think we act andwe behave in the way that we do.
And the science behind why you reinforce your identity through
your actions, thoughts and behaviors.
(09:13):
Because maybe this is you. Maybe you wonder why lots of
teachers and coaches preach on doing affirmations or repetitive
mantras and it's not because saying the things will
automatically make them appear in your life, right?
Like it's not, I don't know if you think this, but it's not
saying it doesn't mean it's going to be magically appearing,
but it's because you are slowly trying to reprogram your brain.
(09:37):
And the part of the brain that I'm going to be talking about
today is the reticular activating system.
And when you see it written in taxes, sometimes referred to as
Ras Ras, and I don't know about you, but I always love to get to
the root reason of why we do things.
Why does my body do certain things?
Why does my brain do certain things?
(09:59):
Why do I behave in this way? And this is the stuff that I
really love to nerd out on. And for me, it gives me a better
understanding and reasoning as to why we should do certain
things. Like OK, why is me saying
affirmations and mantras like what?
Like what is the root issue? What is actually happening in my
brain? Like why?
And I don't know about you, but like when I learn these things,
(10:20):
even when it comes to like health and fitness and all these
things like why do I need to go lift heavy weights every single
day? Why do I need to eat clean?
Like on a molecular level, what's happening in my body?
Oh, because my body needs this to build protein, which protein
helps build muscle or oh, eatingthese certain foods that's going
to raise my metabolism so it's going to burn more fat.
So I always like to get to the root reason why.
And for me, by knowing that it helps me actually stick and
(10:44):
reinforce these new habits. So if you are like me in that
way, then you are going to, I love this because I'm going to
explain the reason why and what the reticular activating system
is. So the reticular activating
system is a part of your brain stem that acts like the
gatekeeper for information. So at any given moment, your
brain is bombarded with millionsof pieces of information from
(11:07):
sights, sounds, conversations, sensations.
Like look where you are right now listening to this episode.
I know you're seeing things. Maybe you're smelling something,
you're feeling something, the clothes on your body, or maybe
you're walking or sitting or taking in the fresh air, right?
But your conscious mind can onlyprocess a small fraction of all
(11:28):
of it. A tiny fraction.
And your conscious mind is basically only the 5% of your
brain, and 95% of your brain andits activation is subconscious.
So how does your brain decide what to focus on?
It prioritizes information that aligns with your existing
beliefs, thoughts, and focus. So basically whenever you
(11:52):
believe or whatever you believe or focus on will dictate what
your brain filters in or out. So the reticular activating
system, look at it as a filter for your brain that prioritizes
information that matches your existing beliefs.
Let's say you believe making money is hard.
So your reticular activating system will literally filter
(12:16):
your reality to confirm that belief.
You're going to subconsciously ignore easy money making
opportunities, you're going to dismiss new ideas as
unrealistic, and you're going tofocus on a struggle instead of
success. But if you start shifting this
belief, shifting it by whether it's doing affirmations, doing
(12:39):
subconscious reprogramming, doing nervous system regulation,
doing guided meditations, right,you're starting to kind of
brainwash yourself into this newbelief.
And you start to believe that money flows to me effortlessly.
It gets to be easy. Success comes to me.
Your reticular activating systemwill start filtering for proof
of abundance. You'll suddenly start to notice
(12:59):
new income streams. You'll suddenly start to notice
different good business opportunities and you'll start
to just receive these unexpectedmanifestations of abundance
coming in because your brain is actively looking for them and as
it is looking for them. Like that's subconscious because
that is your belief system. Your identity shapes your
(13:22):
reality. If you want to manifest your
dream life, you must first shiftyour identity.
Let me share a couple scenarios of how the reticular activating
system works in real life. So say right now, maybe you're a
struggling entrepreneur. Well, imagine you're launching a
new business and this may be youright now, but deep down you
believe that success takes yearsor that people won't want to pay
(13:47):
me my rates or that it's going to just be really hard and
you're not smart enough or not educated enough or just just
don't have it right. But you really want to do it.
But you're but you're strugglingwith these beliefs, so your
reticular activating system is going to filter the reality to
confirm these new beliefs. For example, maybe you're
(14:07):
scrolling Instagram and you'll scroll right past an ad for high
ticket sales workshop because your brain doesn't register it
as important. You might come across a
lucrative collaboration opportunity because you assume
it's too good to be true. Or maybe you focus on clients
who ghost you or say that your stuff's too expensive,
(14:31):
reinforcing the idea that no onevalues my work.
So your brain is actively filtering out opportunities that
could help you succeed because they don't match your belief
system. This is why we say like, if you
believe something's going to be hard, it's going to be hard
because that's what your reticular activating system is
(14:51):
going to show you. This is why we say it's like
your reality is going to show you exactly what you believe and
it's never going to be the opposite.
You can't trick your way. You can't fool your way into
your reality being different apart from what your belief

Say you're a wealth minded entrepreneur.
You are a growth mindset entrepreneur.
You're ready for income. You are manifesting it all in.

Now imagine you reprogram your belief to go to money flows to
me effortlessly. Money flows to me easily.
Business is easy. I'm a successful entrepreneur.
Suddenly your particular activating system starts
prioritizing proof of this type of abundance.
In this case, you're scrolling Instagram and you notice a sales
(16:46):
workshop ad and you're going to sign right up.
Or you notice some program or something.
You're like, oh, that's for me, that's going to be that's,
that's my next thing to do. You're going to be more opted to
learning a strategy that lands you.
That $10,000 client is going to lead you.
Or maybe you get this download for a new business and you're
going to explore that business opportunity and it turns into
(17:08):
being a profitable business and venture for you.
Then you start focusing on clients who do pay you,
reinforcing the belief that people love to invest in me.
Reality didn't change. Nothing changed in your reality.
You just trained your brain to see new positive possibilities
(17:30):
and you started to reframe to bein a place of abundance versus
lack and scarcity. Now let's get into the how,
right? Because I can tell you, oh, do
the affirmations, do all the things.
But like really how? How do you reprogram your
reticular activating system so it filters reality in your
favor? So this is what I want you to
think about is first, take a moment to write down a belief
(17:53):
that's been keeping you stuck. Maybe it's I'm not good at
making money. Love never works out for me.
I don't have what it takes to besuccessful.
And you want to ask yourself really like, where did this
belief come from first? Did you hear it from your
parents, from society? Was it a past failure?
Your reticular activating systemhas been filtering reality to
(18:13):
confirm this belief. Now we need to override it.
Now it's all about choosing a new empowering belief and
rewrite your belief in a way that feels believable.
So instead of saying making money is hard, you need a shift
to opportunities to make money are all around me.
Instead of saying I'm not lucky in love or no one wants to date
(18:33):
me, I'm going to be single forever, I want you to try.
I'm always in the right place meeting amazing people.
Instead of saying, I don't have what it takes, I'm not smart
enough, I don't have enough credentials shifted to I'm
constantly growing into my highest potential when it comes
to these different affirmations of mantras.
Like your brain accepts small believable shifts faster than
(18:55):
extreme affirmations. So I want you to first start
with something that feels possible.
And I want you to catch yourselfwhenever you see those negative
beliefs about yourself instead of like berating or something
like, Oh my God, I said it again.
Oh my God, I'm thinking this wayagain.
No, just in that moment be like,oh wait, no, and just shift it
(19:16):
and stay the +1. If you come across and you're
looking at banking, Oh my God, I'm so broke.
Fuck no shit. No, I money flows to me
effortlessly. Money flows to me effortlessly.
And reaffirm it a couple times because in the beginning, right,
everything's habitual. Our thoughts are habitual and
all we need to do is just start brainwashing ourselves into
(19:36):
thinking a different way. And this starts with you.
No one can do it for you. And honestly, it doesn't happen
overnight. You just have to be aware of
crap. I thought it again, I need to
shift this. I need to keep working on this.
And This is why I say when it comes to using your
manuscripting journal and doing guided meditations and doing EFT
tapping and doing other nervous system regulation like breath,
(19:58):
like doing this over and over along with listening to
podcasts. What are you watching on
YouTube? What are you watching on social
media and Instagram? You need to retrain and
brainwash yourself with all of these new positive things so
that your brain starts looking for the positive and the
abundance in life versus the scarcity.
Because you can do all of this work, but if your belief system
(20:20):
is still the same day in, day out, like truly nothing's going
to change because your reticularactivating system is running the
show. Your job now is to actively
rewire your brain to seek proof of your new belief.
And this is how you can do it. Every morning, start your day.
Say your new belief out loud with conviction.
Say out loud with conviction. And the best place to do it?
(20:41):
Do it in your bathroom. Stick it on your mirror, look at
yourself in the eyes. Say it out loud.
You can even stand in the power positioned, hands on your hips.
Say it out loud. Money flows to me effortlessly.
I am a successful entrepreneur. I am the best freaking coach for
XY and Z Brainwash yourself. This is how we start to see
(21:01):
proof in our lives of it. And then throughout the day,
actively look for at least threesigns that support your new
belief. Like actively look for it.
This is how we start training for it.
We're going to start looking forthe good, for the positive.
So if your belief is money flowsto me easily, notice unexpected
discounts, gifts, new clients coming in, new sales.
(21:22):
You got to look for the proof. This is how it begins.
And then I promise you, it starts just being automatic.
And then the evening I want you to write down 3 pieces of proof
that align with your new belief.What was that?
Three pieces of proof? And even during the day, you can
even just send yourself a text message if you don't really wait
till the end of the day like send yourself text messages.
Oh, I have proof of this. And even it could be other
(21:43):
people be like Oh my gosh, she just had a 10K day.
Instead of being jealousy, right, Being jealous like, oh
shit, she did it, I could do it too.
There's proof. There is proof this works.
There's proof coaching works. There's proof that business
success works. This entire process is going to
help you retrain your reticular activating system to filter
reality differently so you naturally attract what you want.
(22:05):
I hope you understand now. Your reticular activating system
is the bridge between your innerworld and your outer reality.
Like literally like your brain, like this is the one thing that
is holding you back or making you successful.
And when you shift your beliefs and train your reticular
activating system to filter for abundant success, love, money,
wealth, health, all of it, you will start to naturally manifest
(22:28):
those things into your life. I'm going to leave you with
this, your one activation for today.
I want you to today and at leastfor the next 7 days, make one
decision as your future self. If you already were the version
of you that has it all, what would you do today?
And I want you to take action onthat.
And for deeper subconscious reprogramming, I want you to, if
(22:53):
