Kicking off a year of events commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, as well as Constitution Day, Montgomery County Community College will host “Give Us Liberty and the Right to Vote: The Journey to the 19th Amendment” a panel discussion on the 19th amendment, which guaranteed women the right to vote. Judge Carolyn T. Carluccio will be among the panelists for the discussion moderated by Seth D. Wilson, Esquire. They talk about the importance of civics education, the Constitution and the Supreme Court.
