(00:00):
Laters, Are you ready? Yes, 321 and just like that
bring out for Danny's drumser. Wow.
(00:20):
And she's still going, she's still spinning, she's styling
on. It's her first one.
It's her first one. You know how to let it, how to
let it happen. It is what it is.
That wasn't good for you, brother.
Is a real thing, don't let anyone tell you.
Otherwise. What's going on y'all?
(01:00):
Welcome back to the Christmas episode on the Moon Peace
Podcast. SpongeBob big guy pants.
OK Madam morals flipping around. What do you get Wicked witch?
I'm here back with my Co host Ronald Danielle.
Was I? And Kimmy Swan.
(01:20):
Hey, yo, what's going on? It's been a while since it's
been just us three kind of just chilling.
Before we had a yeah Roth showing the showdown as a guest.
And then we did like a Super Sentai episode.
But this time it's just US yapping.
But there's a special treat at the end.
Yeah, something fun that we're going to do.
A little, a little, a little game, a little a little
tournament to see if we could tap into our big beast.
(01:42):
If you see the name of the episode.
So normally you know the Christmas episode, but I feel
like we've exhausted like our Christmas ideas per SE, right?
Over the last three. Years over the last three.
Years so much about Christmas wecan talk about.
Right. And then like we, I don't know
that many Christmas movies. And like we before we talk about
like what movies could be a Christmas movie that you
wouldn't, that wouldn't be considered one or whatever,
(02:02):
Harry Potter and all that stuff. But we're gonna do this episode,
and at the end we're gonna have a Beyblade tournament.
Who would have seen that coming? Now let it RIP.
We're gonna let it RIP. But before we get into letting
it RIP, let's start with what wewatching, what we playing, what
we saying. And we're gonna start with
Kimmy. Hey yo OK so I've been catching
up on a lot of anime and stuff so I'll start off with I
(02:25):
finished season 2 of Kaiju #8. Nice to get it.
Did you watch it? Yeah, we're going to watch
someone who's coming out weekly,OK?
OK, I don't. I don't even.
Remember you talking about that experience?
I loved binging. It I liked binging it, it was
fun. Yeah.
I think it was OK. I I liked it a lot.
I feel like I had like Danny lowered my standards because he
(02:45):
he didn't like what? Appropriately.
No, because I think it was very well done.
Like your expectations? Yes, he lowered my expectations.
That's the better way to say, I guess.
Yeah, because it was. It exceeded my expectations, so
it worked. Out work over here The law.
'S work is crazy. I liked it.
I think it getting more into what it takes because we're we
(03:08):
left off, you know, there's the big bad, which is Kaiju #9.
And then Kaiju #8 was taken and he had to fight and prove like,
hey, guys, I'm not gonna hurt the defense squad.
I'm actually here to help. And that's gonna, that's my
role. I wanna be there.
And his squad pulled up and was like, we believe in you, you're
(03:28):
gonna come back, right, right, right.
And then it's nice seeing like now everybody's getting like the
suits for that Kaijus and they look really cool wearing them.
Reno Reno got his Ice 1 from #2 I think Kaiju #2.
What's the the the bowl cut hairguys name?
I always forgot. Bowl cut bulk.
(03:49):
He starts with the H. He got the the sentient one from
number. One that happened.
Yeah, that's so funny. I saw when you had posted the
clip between yeah bowl cut and the other do arguing.
Nagaby, yeah. Turf war thing.
Yeah, yeah, he said. We got no bowl cutting, squinty
eyes here. I was like, yo, can I say that?
I was like, damn, bro really roasted him for real, Yeah.
(04:11):
They could say that. That's not funny.
What was your impression of Gen.Narumi as a character this
season? You know you got a tidbit of him
in the last one, right? Doing something cool and badass,
but you saw a completely different side to him in this
season. Yeah, so it's very cool 'cause
he started off by being like, Ohyeah, he's that guy who's like,
you know, the gamer, like kind of shunted Loser, you know,
(04:36):
that's what he does. And then like, I just happened
to be the coolest guy ever. Like he's very like he wants to
be the star at the same time so no one knows his loser
tendencies like low key unless you really know him.
So when he told that little kid he's like y'all forgive you if
you take your mama's phone and post about me on social media 10
times it. Made me laugh I was like he a
real 1 he young. I think when I was watching the
(04:58):
season, it was a point in time where I was sitting here like,
man, I really forgot about this Reno dude, huh?
We never they just, they just said F him.
And then when they brought him out of nowhere to get the suit,
I'm not going to lie, I didn't love that.
I like the I like, I like the concept of it, but it felt so
like it felt forced. I expected it.
I I figured I. Didn't come back I.
(05:20):
You know why? It's because they did not show
any inkling of that whatsoever. Like there.
Was no lead up to it, they just. All of a sudden he's a prodigy.
Yeah, there was like we they kind of like.
He's been leading up to it because they're like, oh, he's,
he's been a normal guy, but he'slike improving really fast.
And they've been saying that thewhole time.
You know, he's been better than a lot of the other people in the
class, but the other fodder, Buthe was never top five.
(05:43):
Yeah, I mean. I mean, he's getting better.
He's. Always there, the shark teeth
guy was there, then there was like the these two other guys
and then I don't know, maybe topfive, but.
Yeah, he's still, he's still thetop five, Yeah.
Like he was always better than those people.
But I guess when the moment camewhen there was like, OK, we need
to assemble some people to get these suits.
(06:04):
It felt so. Now he's the guy.
Yeah, now he's the guy. And then like also the the the
training of it all and him just I like it.
It's cool, it just felt like whiplash I guess.
It felt a little forced for me when even when I was reading it
I was like. They're like forcing him to be
relevant I. Don't know, I I kind of expected
him to come back. So I figured this was how
(06:24):
they're going to do it. But also it's because they
needed like a newbie because essentially that's why the shark
teeth guy was like, where did this guy come out from?
You know, like I've been with you the whole time.
So the fact that you're passing me like that's not fair.
Like you weren't supposed to pass me.
You're supposed to be like with me.
So like I understood that. I like that he got over those
feelings. Like, really?
Quick, he did. He did.
Yeah, I was like, thank God he didn't drag that.
(06:45):
Don't. Don't let this be another Nardo
Saske kind of thing. Oh my.
God, yeah, you could. You could, you could.
It could be a rival, but be an adult about it.
Yes, yes. So he was like, Nah, he's still
my boy. I'm glad I.
Didn't follow that trope. Yeah.
How did you guys? You brought it up in the live
stream with the Kagura Bachi thing, but how did you guys feel
with General Shino Mia being absorbed by #9 and the
resulting? I thought that.
(07:07):
After a fact with Kikoru. I I like that a lot.
I like that concept a lot to like.
It makes her character so much more interesting and and and
more I feel more for her and I want to see her win.
You know what I mean? Like before she just came off as
extremely bratty but also at thesame time you could tell that
there was a softer side for her to her in regards to how she
treated Kafka and like her connection with him like.
(07:30):
Daddy problems. Daddy issues for real.
And then like getting to know about like her mom and
everything like that. Like honestly she feels like so
far the best ranked character. She did.
Yeah, she could. Have been the main character.
She could have. I love Q.
She could have. She's great.
And I think I like the fact. That she backs it up too.
And she does. She comes in heavy, like heavy
that. Giant axe.
I think it's so. Cool.
(07:51):
Oh my God, I want to cosplay herself.
You want. You want to know a little fun
facts? What?
And Oda's original? I don't know if you know who
that is. ODA is the F for One Piece I
just. Know you know that is.
Double check in Oda's original character designs for Nami, Nami
was supposed to have like a big axe just like people.
Has and a robot arm. And a robot arm.
I know, right? It's.
So. Cool, there's no design of Nami.
(08:13):
It could still happen. It could still happen.
Spoilers, It hasn't happened. Yet OK.
Right. Metal Arm, Did you guys think
that? Because when I watched the anime
I saw how they edited it. Did you guys think they was
going to get saved because they really like the the General
because they really dragged it out like those very final
moments? I'm like, wait a minute, are
they going to change this? Yeah, when when he was getting.
(08:36):
Absorbed. Yeah.
Oh, did I think he was going to get saved?
Did you think that? I, I did.
I did think that he was. There was going to be some like
last minute. Cost like anime shit.
So the fact that he really held this L.
Yeah. It could have waited one more
season I think though. No, I don't think so.
I think. Because he was literally
introduced. 4 episodes we just met you don't know this man you
(08:58):
know I mean the pacing now we'reentering pacing of new Gen.
anime conversation right yeah wedidn't need to rush to get to
make that happen. I would have felt more like yes,
I feel more of a Shinomia right, but I would have felt the impact
of losing him more if he got to spend this whole second season
training training and interacting more with Kafka or
(09:22):
everything else like that to build that bond.
So the fact that we kind of rushed into like creating this
shock value moment. This is where my complaint about
a lot of new Gen. stories. It's like it's not taking its
time to flesh things out and letthings breathe and like build
the connections. You're telling me this thing is
happening, but how much emotion are you really expecting me to
(09:42):
put in? As far as like the characters
who have like a relationship with him, it's really just
Kikoru, the old man who was likehis like right hand man and then
the one scientist guy who was like, Sir, I'm not leaving, I'm
here. Yeah, I'm here for you.
Which I. Was like, oh.
My yeah, that was really cute. So sweet, you know?
But then he still ended up, you know, leaving at the end, 'cause
there's something. You could do, but the season
(10:03):
felt weird because of where it stopped.
It did felt so in between. Yeah, it felt like it really
needed 24 episodes. To be a full season, like House
of Dragons season 2 vibes, yeah. You know, it's kind of like a in
between season, you know, like things happened.
But really it's like like as you, you can tell like the next
season, it's. I would have probably been more
satisfied if one and two would have been 24 episodes together
(10:25):
and then as opposed to like the the break and then coming in and
then having this batch of 12. And like, once again, I, I did
appreciate the slow because likethat episode when it was
following bro around and thinking he was like a mobster
selling like weapons for like that first episode.
This is why I'm saying give me more.
Yeah, filler, filler moment. You know what I mean?
(10:46):
That was hilarious. As long as it's good, yeah.
I mean was it's good. Yeah, yeah, it was good.
I liked it. I, I was, I was, it was jokes to
me the whole time. I was like, they don't know what
his deal is. They really think and he knew
the whole time and. I I thought was cool.
That was a cool great and I alsoappreciate the anime karaoke
dipone thing at the end with allthe chibi characters.
(11:06):
Like I love when anime does thatand they make it like so cute so
we get to know the characters a little bit more in like a chibi
way. Speaking of the ending, yo,
they're really riding hard with this.
Like Maroon 5? Like and then kind of like. 11
Republic, Yeah. But like that, kind of like
alternative rock. You know, they're, they're not
gonna be able to recapture. The match No.
(11:27):
Money and now this season, it's like.
I was surprised to see them again.
I was like OK the. Other way, OK, the first season
was also One Republic. Yeah, they were both nobody.
That's that's. Really.
Them I thought it. Was a joke.
Oh. Oh.
That's the whole point. Oh yeah bro.
Why? Why is 1 Republic doing like
anime? Well, they did a Dragon Ball.
They did a Dragon Ball opening. I didn't know that.
(11:48):
Who does the Dragon Ball open? The Dragon Ball diamond opening.
That's crazy. I.
Just think it's so funny. I like both, but what did you
what do you think of the intro? Intro I thought was beautiful.
The other one I like a little better but I like the first
initial when you zoom in to see the eyes.
Like he looks really cool. The song itself was OK.
It's very like. Sorry, it was sad.
(12:11):
Huh. C&K&Z, that is like AI, don't
know who that is, but it's like an actual group.
Oh oh, who did the Dragon Ball Diamond opening?
He's the isn't he the EDM guy? No.
That's one different. That's Zedd.
Oh. Yeah, Zedd.
Oh, that, that is literally him,Yeah.
Sure, Grammy winning artist Zeddcompose the song.
I guess he's a driver for the first for his first for an
(12:33):
anime, calling it a dream come true.
It's pretty cool. Yeah, go for him.
Yeah. What do you think of the intro?
I don't remember it because I watched it when it was coming
out so. Oh yeah, yeah.
So it's not that memorable then?Yeah.
I mean, I again country #8. I don't even think I liked the
first season open and like that that I can remember.
You liked it? Yeah, I.
Remember you like because I didn't like it and you were like
(12:54):
what bro? What and?
Then I was like, alright, sing it for me, sing it for me.
But either way, I liked it. It was better than I expected. 7
out of 10. I think totally, yeah, 100%.
Yeah, OK. Next.
Thing. I mean, that's how Danny thinks
the whole series ends. Unfortunately, that's something
wrong with being. A7 out of 10 there's.
(13:14):
Nothing wrong with being a 7 outof 10.
Unfortunately I just, I had my expectations set and it's just
really let me down. If you guys want, I can tell
you, no, I'm not going to tell you the ending.
I can tell you where my disappointment is.
Well, we'll find out. You just said they didn't.
I think you told us before that I just it, it just kind of
rushed to its end, kind of. Kind of rushed to its end and
just, I feel like left a lot. Just could have did more.
(13:37):
Could have done a lot more. That's going to be the problem,
I think a lot of manga going forward.
Unfortunately, next. Thing that's fortunately for
you. Don't listen to him.
Got him anyways. Next thing I watched my hero
Vigilantes finished that one. Did you watch it yet?
I watched most of it. You watched 3 episodes?
(14:00):
Yo ye of little faith over here. No, I watched up until like that
Bumblebee girl and then Stain was in the mix and Stain had
that conversation with somebody. You read it already?
No, I no, he didn't read. Anything you don't know?
Anything. That's why he doesn't know.
There's only 13 episodes. How?
What episode are you on? You.
You want me to? It's like 9.
It's like episode 9. It's like 9 it's he met stain
(14:20):
but he doesn't know like her connection to.
Anybody. Yeah, Well, I know that she's
somebody's sister. Sure.
Maybe. OK, you're wrong, but sure.
Anyways, but I like it. I think it's, it's nice.
I'm I'm glad that we finally getting to know everybody 'cause
they're really introducing like majority of the characters now
(14:40):
and you know, we got the ensemble and then going forward,
I think it's gonna it's a good lead up for the next season,
which they already announced is like in production January.
Yeah, Oh my God, in January. Jeez, that's great.
OK, so I'm super excited for. That something with my hero
ending. That's true.
That's true. So I'm super excited to see it
and idiot, I have no. Idea.
(15:02):
Whatever. Anyways, so yeah, I'm super
excited to see the rest of it because like, like I said, I've
read it all so I know where it'sheaded towards, so I'm excited.
Yeah, I mean, you might as well talk about my hero at this
point. How are you feeling?
Have you watched the season of any?
I watched a couple episodes. My God.
My God, guys, I, I literally, I literally refuse.
(15:25):
And like you guys had me watch Kaiju #8 and it's fine.
Well, like this. Actually, it was.
Animation in this. Series, so this is beautiful.
Oh and my hero, I watched the Bakugou episode, I watched the
Bakugou episode, and I watched the one after that.
Is is anything really? Is it movie quality?
Tell me. Yeah.
Is it movie quality if that's what he got at that point?
Everything. Cuz like, let's not act like the
(15:46):
awful one back story. Is like why do I need to?
Why do I need to to finish the anime if I already know what
it's going to look like? It doesn't.
It doesn't, no. No, no, no, no.
It's beautiful. It's very well done.
I think it's definitely worth better than the manga.
Yes, it's way better than the manga.
So that's what I'm saying, It's worth the watch.
In what way specifically? I'm not, I'm not trying to, I'm
(16:06):
just trying to wonder in what ways.
You honestly, there's the music and bringing it to life and see
the emotion just come out. I they really brings to life way
more than what I expected. When I originally read the manga
and I was moved. I was like, you know what?
Feeling it and hearing it and hearing the actors emotions come
through it, it leaves more of animpact.
(16:29):
Sounds like a skill issue. My imagination brought me there.
But it does it better. OK, I'll.
Just get it. Help himself.
He can't help himself. I'm a hater.
It is, but like it's it's reallyjust going to be worth my.
Time, yes, it's literally like, I mean, I think 10 episodes I
don't. See why you wouldn't want to say
goodbye to? Just say goodbye.
Just. Don't have time?
Don't. Have time.
That's such a bullshit excuse. It's not how is it?
(16:51):
I would keep watching orb over my hero.
Academic, This is such a bullshit excuse.
How is it? OK, well, will you watch it
ever? Sure.
No, he won't. Within the next two years.
Oh my God, he's ridiculous. I'm in no rush, I already read
it. I can't imagine that the
animation and the voice acting. I'm really going to I.
Calling Cat because I'm pretty sure you watch the Naruto ending
(17:14):
when it was finishing for the anime.
So I'm calling Cat that's. That's that's Naruto though.
But you ask like me, but you no.Because now as a Naruto fan, I
can say but you don't. You know you didn't love the
Naruto ending, so you're callingCat.
You don't like how you don't like how Naruto ended for his
final finale. We.
You want to talk about Naruto? No.
(17:35):
We're not going to talk about godeep into it, but I know you
didn't love how it went. And I can't see a world like the
very end end like post everything, everything Coggia
forward, Cogia forward, OK, including COG or not including
Coggia forward. I didn't love it, but I didn't
hate it either. Right, Same way you probably.
Same way you probably feel aboutmy hero.
The thing with My Hero though isbecause it's Naruto lasted
(17:57):
longer. So it's hard to say no, no, no,
it's hard to say because like how much more can they possibly
explore with Naruto? Whereas with My Hero, like
there's still so much more they could have done and explored.
So like with Naruto, even with the Kaguya thing, even though I
wasn't in love with it, I was still just like like what else
could they possibly do? And that's why I'm still reading
(18:18):
Boruto. Yuck anyways.
I think you should say you have a plus ultra tattoo.
Literally this band has a tattooof my hero.
Goodbye. Just say goodbye.
I did and you'll never have to watch it again.
Manga no anyways. Well, I think the animation is
wonderful, and I do think that is is we might as well say
goodbye now because by time thisepisode comes out, the final
(18:39):
episode will have aired because we're recording Thursday.
The episode will air 2 days fromnow.
Yeah. So I mean, listen, it's been
what, nine years? 2016?
It came out 2016, didn't it? First season's 2016.
Was it? No, I remember we made the 2016
video premiere of My Hero. That's what we said.
Of the anime, yeah, but like the.
(19:00):
Manga. The manga.
I mean, we're talking about the anime and then not the manga.
We would have been talking aboutthe manga when it ended last
year. OK, right.
So that was the anniversary. That's true.
The anime came out 2016 I believe, like somewhere in the
spring or some shit like that. Spring up 2016, you got it.
Yeah, I think it's it's I think it is a sad moment, you know
(19:22):
what I mean? In regards to like a series this
big. I'm not going to ignore the
impact that my hero had and how much I really didn't love the
series for the first couple of seasons slash arcs because I
read, I read it right away afterthe first season.
It's very that's not often why Ipick up a series right after
watching the one season. So I do have a connection.
I do care about my hero in regards to it, you know, finally
(19:44):
closing, especially as somebody who's not manga over anime, you
know, that like I enjoy the anime watching experience.
So I think it's yeah, it's it's a sad moment and I think it's
it's going to leave a lot of newer anime fans who, you know,
finally got into the space feeling very weird.
You know what I mean? As some as.
(20:04):
US who have kind of been into shonen a little longer and got
to experience like saying goodbye to Naruto and kind of
saying goodbye to. Well, Bleach is a manga, but the
anime is kind of reaching this point soon as they're adapting
it. This is not a a familiar
feeling. I think that people are used to
it. And it's going to be a big void
that's empty because vigilantes will not fill that hole.
(20:27):
There's nothing there is There is nothing you can do.
This is why, you know, the conversation we had before,
Like, yeah, you the series couldhave been longer.
It could have been so much longer.
But unfortunately. Not all stories should go.
On that long now, what you said, that last episode is a dangerous
way to think. I'm never gonna let it go.
But I'm only saying because thisis about something you love.
(20:49):
You know what I mean? And my hero you love a lot and I
saw so much potential in what they could have did.
I absolutely. Agree the world and because so
many people don't want things tolast long and be fleshed out is
why you kind of got this, you know, ending and not seeing as
Rob was saying the star strike thing, why was that not flushed
(21:11):
out spent more time Why did we not actually spend more time
with that class because like even though I know you you said.
There should have been all threeyears we should have been with
them. More through all three years, I
should have see I should know back stories for everybody in
that class, but I don't. Motivations.
I don't I don't know anything about them truthfully.
Like you can tell me there's favorite foods, but that's
because they put a. We could have a whole sexual.
Little image on the screen to just tell you their heights and
(21:33):
their favorite. Food like different outfit
designs. We could have had Amirio and Tom
McKee. They could.
Have had a, they could have had a.
There's just so many things thatcould have been explored and it
did turn into a series that onlywas about Deku.
And it just got rushed. And then it just got rushed.
It's, it's a, it's a crime that we've seen happen time and time
(21:54):
and again. Like, yeah, the the animal
racism with the animal looking people like those, like all of
those things had so much potential to blossom and so a
much more grander world. That goes vigilante arc.
That one itself that could. Have lasted way longer.
Because that could have been way, that could have been its
own season. You could have actually used.
Your time to time skip. Yeah, you.
(22:16):
Could have time skipped right there.
Literally could have been a vigilante for like 2 years.
Literally, I don't know why thatwasn't.
Now. Now he's they.
Could have got him back right before graduation so that he
could like. Oh, right.
That would have agreed. Now he's 16, everyone's about to
graduate and they're trying to get him back for for graduation.
What, or just a year? I'm just, I'm not even asking
for that much, right? I'm just asking for a little
(22:37):
bit. So I think that's what.
What could have been of it all? Yeah.
So much. It's just biggest regret.
So which? By the way, let me just say
like, so Corey keeps yelling at me like because apparently I
said like, oh, not all stories should be this.
Don't. Say apparently I have it on the
phrase stop doing that. Like I'm like I'm Trump saying
something like random. 'Cause you were like, oh, it
(22:58):
shouldn't be this long. I was like, I'm not saying all
stories shouldn't be long. It's just, I don't know, like
when it's like overdone that it's like dragging out.
That's what I mean. It shouldn't be like dragged
out. That's the only thing I meant.
So I wanted to clarify with everybody, OK.
What is your rephrased statement?
So I don't think stories should be so long to the point that
(23:19):
they're dragged out. How do you determined?
How do you determine? And how many stories do you know
that are dragged out, that you see?
I don't know, but I'm just that's the point I was
originally trying to make off the top of my head.
I cannot say it, but it doesn't mean that stories don't deserve
to be long. They can be long.
I love a long story. Trust.
I read them all the time. I read stories all the time.
I love like A200K word, you know, story like or 2000.
(23:42):
Sorry, you know, all that kind of stuff like it's, it's fine.
How many pages is a 2000 word story?
Sorry 200,000 is what I meant but she said 2. 100,000.
Well then, she said 2000 you. You said, I think you said 2000
page. I don't know what doesn't
matter. I meant 2. 120,000.
Yeah, But either way, but I agree, this should have been
diverged so much more. And there's only so much we can
(24:06):
do because I know like Horikoshiwas getting so sick all the
time. So I don't know how they were
treating him over there that, you know, he unfortunately
couldn't put things to the way they wanted to, but.
Skill issue. It happens, but either way, my
hero was so big for me personally.
I've made so many of my really close friends from being my hero
(24:26):
fans. I used to work at box lunch and
like I became friends with so many people.
Just being able to talk to people about how much we love my
hero. That's I got into a cosplay
group because of that. I got into, I met so many
cosplay friends because of my hero, you know, So it's, it's
really, it's crazy to see like what would have been if I would
(24:47):
have never gotten to this fandom.
Yeah, I mean, My Hero would definitely.
It's 431 chapters and it's probably going to be the last
manga to ever crack that number.I don't think it'll ever happen
again now, just the way people'sreading habits.
Are 431 four? 131 chapters I don't think.
It's hard. I don't the the only one that
(25:09):
could possibly get that high is maybe Sakamoto days or I don't
know where they are in the storyso I really can't say.
The next one would be Dondadon, but I can see them ending like
right before 431. OK right.
But again it it depends on what they do with the story because
Dondadon I think is in like the two 30s as well and I can easily
(25:31):
see it going another 120. Well, where you are in the
story, I guess because you read it right, does Dondadon.
Because like for what I get fromthese first two seasons, it
seems like the type of story that just does a bunch of random
stuff and could keep going on forever.
But I'm not sure. I don't want to speak for how
far the story goes if there is an actual overarching.
(25:52):
Like are we still looking for his nut?
Or is there more contacts and more?
Stories There is more plot linesthat come from more overarching
villains and things, especially the latest.
Star but I guess it just seemed like I mean like a full.
Like is there a big bad? Full a full story or that ties
the whole story together, not just by art.
(26:13):
That's what I mean, you know, I mean, cause Donna does lend
itself to like a oh, we could. Just kind of we could just.
Kind of just do random stuff forever kind of situation, right?
No, because like again, like a lot of it also has to do with
Oka Run and Momo's relationship, you know, because it's still
also like a romance manga anime kind of thing.
(26:33):
So it kind of really is geared centered towards that.
So the answer to your question is no, there isn't something
like that with like My Hero or Naruto or One Piece.
It is. Still where there's like a one
big bad. Arc based arc, but then there's
like continuous subplots. OK, that are still thinking.
About but not overarching, no. So it could.
Potentially lead itself, I mean.Look at which watch.
Which watch is very that. Vibe.
(26:55):
Yeah, that's what you're saying.Is that vibe?
And it's still like still owing.But I don't put like AI don't
put like a witch watch or like the same way I think about
Detective Conan. OK, yeah, right.
Like they could just that can actually keep going forever,
right? Whereas like you said, the My
Hero, the Naruto's the one pieces.
The very plot. Driven bleach.
(27:16):
Like there is like a thing that is connecting everything
seamlessly through its arcs where it's one story.
Or overarching village. Where like correct me if I'm
wrong obviously for Donna Don, could I potentially enjoy an arc
while skipping like maybe 3 arcs?
No, you'll get lost because morecharacters, more abilities, more
(27:38):
power systems get introduced as the series goes on.
OK, it's good to. Know I'll be lost on a power
sense, but not a storytelling. Sense.
No, no, it's also storytelling sense because of characters that
you don't know and character andand what Donna also does a good
job of is bringing back old characters into new plot points
and things like that. Sounds good to know.
You would be lost. You'd be like, who is this
person? How do they know him?
(27:59):
I guess I wasn't saying about itin that sense, like knowing
people. I just meant like, well, I just
kind of feel like I really don'tknow what's can I not enjoy the
Ark I guess without watching thepast?
I guess. I guess you could.
That's didn't know that's what, because because like what I've
seen you read so far, like it feels like damn, this just they
just do random shit on like every arc.
(28:20):
Like you've had a Sharknado thing a little while ago and I
was like, I don't know what's going on here.
Wild. One thing I want to talk about
with the the the words in a book.
So an average book is 80,000 to 100,000 words really.
So you're saying 200,000. So that's like 2 books.
(28:41):
So is that your cap? He's.
Still he's still I. Don't know that's that's just
like I love, I like, I love reading me a long story.
OK. All right, all.
Right, that's it. What else you got?
What else you got on the docket?Well, goodbye, my hero.
Well, yes. Goodbye my hero, we love you was
our thing. I appreciate the ride that you
you have me on. I wanted more but I guess I'll
just take what I got. And for the record, I'm not
(29:02):
hating on my hero. I already read it and I'm fine
with that. You're still be hating.
How's I hating anyways? I'm not hating on the story.
So Sakamoto days. I watched like 2 episodes of new
season girls so you go. I watched it.
It was kind of disappointing. It wasn't that great read.
Sakamoto Day I read the 1st 20 chapters.
(29:23):
I didn't really like it. It's, it's just, it's just John
Wick in anime. That's really it.
It's just. Comedy.
It's OK, Yeah, it's comedy, but it's very it's it leads heavily
into the animation antigens typething.
Like with the with the things he's able to do with Sakamoto,
he deflected a bullet using a paper straw.
(29:43):
Yeah, like how did he do that? Yeah, it's like stupid shit.
He. Scaled a building and now all of
a sudden he's skinny mini. Yeah, he's skinny, legend.
And then he just goes back to being fat.
Yeah, I I have, no, I feel like I have no reason to commit to
it. You know what I mean?
Like it's something that I I could probably also watch any
episode and not yeah, like I could, I feel like I could also
(30:03):
get dropped into any arc of Sakamoto days.
I feel like I'll be alright. It's I see a lot of people
talking about it in the manga community and I've seen some
really cool action shots, but it's nothing.
It's OK, it's it's nothing worthlike I I think worth watching.
There's better things to watch. Like I, I had it as a laundry
show. So like, but I was watching it,
(30:24):
I was like, OK, it's shenanigans.
They have like a whole like school arc, essentially a school
test arc thing. And it was just.
And then at the end of it, it's very like, OK, we're gonna
infiltrate the school. And then it leads it into like,
next season. And I'm like, this is not a good
place to stop. It's good if, like, you're just
(30:45):
getting into anime, yeah. Right still.
Too bright, Yeah, but it hasn't changed.
I put no I did. I noticed it changed.
OK, I did not. Anyways, it wasn't that great. 6
out of 10, it was all right. Like it was OK.
Like if you want something in the background while you're not
really paying attention, like sure.
And like I paid attention to it.So that's why I'm saying you
don't. Not missing nothing.
(31:07):
Yeah, you're not missing anything.
Like he's a psychic, the girls are drunk, and he's just going
to do his thing. The girl wasn't even in the this
like season that much, like she didn't really do much.
We got introduced to new characters and like, you know,
at the end of season 1, they yousee the four big bad like
murderers, like they get clippedin no time.
I was like, damn, you know, I made them seem so much more like
crazy. Yeah.
(31:28):
And it wasn't. So I was like, it's whatever.
So over that, you know. What King Tom is just better in
my opinion. I mean, I don't know anything
about that so oh God, I'd alwaysstarted talking about Orb.
Obviously I know Corey's mentioned it before that he
believes Orb is like one of the best written anime like ever.
(31:49):
Or was this just year? OK, just this year.
I personally I watched the 1st 2episodes, they were very good.
But personally, I dropped it because I was like, this is
very, it is hitting a little tooclose to home right now in the
sense of like, so for the guys Idon't know or, or what, what is
the rest of it called? On the movements of the.
(32:11):
Earth on the movements of the Earth.
It's very astronomy based, whichI was like, oh, this is cool.
But that it's very much like, oh, hey, there's the society
right now, which is like the church in back in the day,
medieval times. Medieval times.
Yeah, the church is going after the people and busting into
their homes and executing them essentially for looking for
(32:32):
their Yeah, for the heretics. But who goes against the word?
Of who go against the word of doc exactly.
And so I was like this little with ice and everything it's
hitting a little too close to home of like what's going on.
So I was like I need a little escapism from my anime.
I'm going to skip this right now.
So that's why I was just like, I'm sure it's a great story.
I just personally, I just. I didn't want it.
Yeah. I mean, listen, I never told you
(32:54):
to watch it. No, no, that's true.
He told me not to. But I was like, I'm still going.
To give it a that wasn't the reason why I thought you watch
it. It's because like when we were
talking the other day, you were like, oh, I might try to do the
orb thing. Maybe I'll try to do something
while watching. I said no, no, no, no, no, no.
This is a series that you won. It's not in dub.
So you have to you have to give it your undivided attention.
And the the the dialogue is, it's a dialogue heavy series.
(33:16):
So what they're saying, it is where you're supposed to be
entertained. You know what I mean?
The the it's a very, it's more philosophical than astronomy,
you know what I mean? Yeah, which I understand.
So it's like you have to give ityour undivided attention and the
things that they're talking about.
So like every single word that comes out of their mouth and is
where you're kind of be like, wow, this is the hype.
The hype is like. He.
Cooked, he cooked there in regards to like what he's saying
(33:38):
and what he's. Learning one of the things, like
I talked about it with Corey on the stream the other day, one of
the one of the phrases, it was athe guy in the first episode
who's being branded as a hereticand the kid spending time with
him, right? Yeah.
And he's talking to him, the kids, like.
Not raft out, right? I don't really doesn't it?
I don't remember. I'm looking starts with a Hubert
(33:59):
Hubert something with a HI don'tknow.
Anyways, he's, he's talking to the old man and he's talking
about like, what do you like believe in God?
He's like, of course I believe in God.
I just I don't read Scripture, Iread nature.
Yeah, that. Was very.
Cool. Yeah, no.
Sounds so cool. There were so many good things.
Like that that like raffle raffle.
Raffle OK, yeah. But there were so many good
moments and like that and I was like, this is great, I love it.
(34:22):
So there were so many like good moments like that and I
appreciated it, but I was just like, this is not what I need
right now. No, no, no, listen.
That the whole church going out to the heretics for trying to
explore their imagination through scientific findings and
everything like that and being, you know, burned at the stake
and things like that. It's it's a scary time when the
church had so much power. Yeah, and that's why I was like
(34:45):
America. So that's why I was just like
just. Religion.
Just religion in general. Yeah, I was just like, right now
is not what I need. But I'm sure if this, you know,
I, I wouldn't be afraid to go back because like I do love
astronomy, I do love philosophy and that kind of aspect.
But I was just like, this is notwhat I need personally right now
at this moment. Yeah, it's definitely a very
(35:05):
powerful series and like I said,it tugged on my heartstrings a
lot. And how it goes about his
storytelling throughout it's season, you know?
Well, it's only one. It's only one season anime
That's not like a season 2. He's 24, right, 20.
Five I met, but Danny. But Danny.
But Danny, yeah, he's a funny guy.
He's very. He's not what I was expecting
him. But Danny was.
Right. Yeah.
(35:26):
I always think about you when when I see his name on the
screen. He hasn't.
He hasn't said those stuff yet. Well, has Do you feel like he's
right yet? I mean, he really feels like
he's right. He.
Really feels like he's right. Gosh, what are you thinking so
far? I guess.
Yeah, you, you got farther than you.
Didn't want my opinion before. Well, no, no, we didn't want to
like. Spoil it, but.
(35:47):
I like Orb, I really wish it wasdubbed, but you know, I, I don't
mind the, the sub thing. I think that the acting is good.
I'm very interested in to, in seeing where this story is going
to go. I'm already like 7 episodes in
and seeing that there's 25, I'm like, all right, I want to see
what all the hype is about. It hasn't sold me just yet.
(36:08):
I can recognize a lot of the dialogue in the show, but it
hasn't sold me. So I I'm really excited to see
like the way the characters talkabout their beliefs.
Yeah, they're so passionate. Passions and everything.
And I'm just like, oh wow. So why do you wish it was dumb
then? Because I feel like the only
time you guys want to watch dub is if y'all want to do something
(36:29):
else and not pay attention. At least that's how I take it,
no? It's not that like you could
really pay attention to a lot ofthe things that happen even when
it's dubbed. It's just less effort.
So like I just said, you don't really want to pay attention
that much. I guess that's when when I hear
you guys say y'all want to do dub is because y'all want to be
able to multitask. Or maybe it's.
Not old, I just want to. Read I think.
(36:51):
I just think I have like audio processing issues sometimes.
So like sometimes I besides, because if I'm reading, I'm
like, OK, I can't really processwhat's, you know, at the same
time, but I like to hear and I think if I hear it better, it
clicks with me a little bit more.
Like, you know, I, I still do dub and sub, but I personally
like to hear it dubbed and read at the same time because then I
(37:15):
can at least hear it and understand while also reading.
So that's me personally. Yeah, no.
But but yeah, next aside from that, I started a new one
because I saw some of our friends from the from this
Saturday have been hyping this show up, a new one that came out
(37:36):
on Netflix recently. It's called the fragrant flower
Blooms with dignity. I think I've heard I've heard
some of that title before. I've seen it somewhere but I
don't know what. It's about it's on Netflix, so
it's been on the screen and everything.
I've seen it a couple times, butI was like I was like, let me go
check it out. So it is one of the newest cute
(37:57):
shojo like romance animes, but this one bro is real, real cute.
Like I haven't seen a nice like a shojo anime that like really
pulls at the heartstrings. And I've been watching, you
know, a bunch of them lately, but this one's very much like
bad boy with like cute nerdy girl type.
(38:19):
And they both go to like an all boy school and an all girl
school and the schools hate eachother.
And like it's like, oh, you're with the Kiki O girls.
It's like, oh, they 2 boring boys.
They're so stupid. And so it's very like RJ aspect
to it and it's just so goddamn cute.
And I think 1 aspect that makes it like slightly different than
other like romance animes is that I feel like they're more
(38:42):
straight up with each other. Like she's very much like like
the first episode, nothing crazy.
The first episode she very much is like, oh umm, he meets her.
So the guy, his family runs a bakery, essentially a cake shop,
which is super cute. And at the end of the day, like
he sees this girl, she's just sitting there and eating mad
(39:04):
food by herself. And he's he's just looking at
her like damn, I didn't know this like little ass girl can
like eat by herself and all thisby herself.
And she like, and she like looksup, gets embarrassed and sees
him there. And she's like, oh, and then she
runs. I swear someone's coming.
Yeah, And the guy, like, most people think that he's very
scary because he's like, super tall and he is like, a scary
(39:24):
face, allegedly. And she.
And he's like, oh, my God, I want to apologize to her.
And mom is like, oh, this is Miss Waguti.
I think her name is. This is Miss Waguti.
She comes in all the time and eats cake.
And so next time he's like, hey,I'm so sorry.
I, like, scared you off. And she was like, no, no, do you
want to eat cake with me? Like, I'm so sorry.
Like, you probably never seen a girl, like, eat this much
(39:47):
before, right. And he's like, yeah, but like,
you're not scared of me. She's like, no, I never thought
you were scary. And it's like the cutest thing
of just like you shouldn't judgea book by its cover and like
vice versa. And it, it's just really well
done. I'm only on the 1st 4 episodes,
but it's like, it's really cute because she's very much like, he
was like, well, why did you run off?
And she's like, I don't know, you made my heart race.
(40:09):
Like it was kind of cute. Like, so it's a little bit more
straightforward, you know, but Ilike it.
I I I haven't seen one that really pulls up the heartstrings
like this in AY what? Is it called a fragrant?
Wait, wait, wait, wait. What's going on, my pretty
Princess? Gonna.
Slap your feet, yo. You know that guy?
Yeah, that guy makes me so uncomfortable.
(40:31):
I hate it. I will put it quits as the 20
claps. His feet.
You've been real naughty, this. Is I hate him.
Snaps his feet. Oh my God, I'm like, oh.
He does it so like he does. The characters.
So. Yes, well, I will.
Say one thing he has Really. Good aim, yeah, slapping his
feet together 'cause like, I could see myself.
You mean you haven't tried to doit?
(40:52):
I've tried endlessly. Yo.
Dick yo thinking about Danny just sitting in his room,
sitting here trying to figure out how to.
Clap his ass talking. My high Pootie point sets over
to Natalie talking about Did youwalk Wolfie today?
I was was. I was war.
I can't. Oh my God, but anyways, OK, this
(41:14):
show is called the fragrant flower blooms with dignity, a
very long ass name, but it's it's on Netflix.
It's what? So honestly, I highly recommend,
especially because like if people are going to be talking
about it for like really good anime for this year, 13 episodes
super short. Y'all come in J you have two
days. I'm not gonna watch it.
You're not gonna watch it. Not 2 days, she.
(41:35):
Was. She was so upset.
She was like. You you could do it.
So what'd you say to me? Is it Dobbs or Sobbs?
What'd you say to me, Putty Princess?
So that's what I'm saying. It's it's dub too.
I'm watching in a dub. You're.
Gonna call this episode the Putty Princess.
That's my clip. That's the.
Clip It's a Putty Princess quiz.And.
Then it ends. The episode ends with all of us
clapping our feet. No, not for free.
(41:57):
Not for free. Not for.
Free for. Free bro Oh.
My. God, anyways.
And then last but not least, gotyou.
I could tell no. You.
Finally. Did it?
You got to see the oblique. Yo, so funny.
How so? Non anime?
Like the most non anime shit ever.
Yeah, that was, she's a real onebecause I could like I remember
(42:18):
you guys said someone brings outoblique at some completely
forgot about it. And so it actually came through
and like she was like, damn, I really got to go.
I'm going to end this now. What?
Why do you have one of those? So yeah, she was like you said,
nobody can hear, so nobody can hear the blinky.
(42:40):
But don't worry, I can't kill you because Engine made me
promise that I couldn't kill people no more.
Yeah, she's like, I can't do that no more.
So you're lucky. So.
Did you wait? Are you?
Did you guys watch the new like that last week's episode?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's my no, that's like my,
that's like my Sunday show. Like, yeah, I enjoy watching
that. Week I love the clip where
engine like they all meet up andengine just gives her that side
I like no, it's nothing. It's nothing.
And she's like you, killed. Wait, wait, you killed somebody?
(43:02):
She's like what she's like, no, no, no, no.
No, I thought she was lying at first, right?
I was like, oh, she lied. And I was like, oh, I guess she
didn't lie, but. Yeah, no, he really had to do
the double take though. Like, no, no, no, no.
Just, you know, I love that. That was so funny, Oh my God.
Yeah, but her fight with that, that that woman raise that hands
(43:24):
real wow. Wow, Great job.
Yeah. So what do you think about
Gotcha Aquitu? Gotcha Aquitu, I think it's very
well done. Was it from the same studio?
Sole leader? No, but the the author behind
Gotcha Aquitu worked under the author of sole leader in Fire
Force. I There we go.
(43:44):
It's the. Inspiration.
You can tell, you can tell a lotof it is inspired and which
obviously before I even do that,I was like, Gotcha Akata is what
Fire Force should have been. So I feel like she did a great
job like learning from what not to do with Fire Force and made
it better. You know what I mean?
In the sense of like, here's a company, they have a goal, they
(44:04):
have something to do. Here are the characters they
develop and not even that GotchaAkata.
Not even that that force is goodstory wise.
At least not in the anime at all.
All. Right.
I mean, I disagree. It's so 2D like it's so
bullshit. It heavily plays on tropes and
yes there is like fan service but like none of the characters
(44:26):
feel fleshed out. Everyone feels stupidly locked
into their roles. I don't appreciate how they
treat women in general. It's nothing about it is
enjoyable at all. It's the fan service.
It's the. Fan, but not just the fan
service. It's when they treat women.
But not just that, because like Arthur, for example, who's?
Maki the beefy one, the witch. Oh, she's cool.
(44:47):
Her back story is great. Oh my God that really scared me.
I know. But either ways, it's I'm not
going to get into like why I don't really appreciate Fire
Force and how it's just average.Yeah, I'm a, I'm a yeah.
But either way, I think Gotcha Aquata is way better and you
could tell like she really brought it to the full extent of
(45:08):
just, I don't know, better quality.
And it was more fun. And there's way more than one
black person, which is great. Yeah, I know.
I love the overall vibe and art design of Gotcha Aquata.
I love the characters engine, his tattoos, the way he looks,
the cut daddy. I can't wait for Tamsi.
Tamsi, the guy with the the bluehead, the blue and white.
(45:28):
Hair. He's fun dude.
With with like the way his sleeves are like the author just
does a really good job with the overall character just lands in
the show. And I can't wait for you guys to
see more of Gotcha and them in their like, casual clothes.
So you read it outside of it? Yeah.
OK, that's why you already knew he reads everything.
Well, I try to everything that'sworth reading.
(45:51):
So yeah, I can't wait for you guys to see more because she
really like does a really good job with like, fashion and
again, just character designs ingeneral.
And she's only getting better asthe series goes on.
Yeah. And what I like so far is that
it seems like there's a world tobe built here.
Yeah, there's a basis. Being built here where it's
like, OK, there's a lot to find out because that episode which
(46:11):
one wait, you're caught up you're.
Caught up, I'm caught up. When they was like in the in
between the border, the border and when Shorty was falling and
they like showed that thing in his.
Hands. Like, yeah.
Yeah, watching, I was seeing him.
Like I did not see that coming. Yeah, I was like, I did not know
God. Yeah, you saw the watchman
symbol. Yeah, the Watchman.
(46:33):
I didn't think about that. There was an actual watch, man.
Yeah, I was. It wasn't even a thought because
I was just letting the story happen to me, right?
Yep. Because I was just like, I don't
know where this is trying to go.I was like, are you really about
to go back up to the up stairs already?
You know what I mean? I just I I didn't know like
where it was going. I was like wearing this trash
beast and all this is going on and I don't know the deal with
(46:55):
these with all this whole group in these powers.
And I was like, but what about the people that's like down
there? Like we are going we going to
just leave all the black people down there.
We're not going to see them no more.
Like I didn't know where it was going.
So like that, that one thing right there truly changed my
whole mind. Yeah, on the whole.
What's happening? Yeah.
I it it went from A7 to an 8 to me from that scene alone.
(47:19):
Like it, It changed my whole perspective.
It does a good job. It's expanding on the world
building through small details being delivered through you to
you as the series goes on. That's good to know which I
think is something that they youknow, you don't even know you
feel away about it because I didn't say anything during is
something that which is fire force is kind of doing now with
its finale like because we're fire forces.
(47:41):
Where's most recent season? Like the things they revealed
they even I don't know what's tocome.
He knows how it ends already, but like the things they
revealed, they I was sitting here like what the fuck?
This world is way like the concept of this world is not
what I thought it was the whole time when it came to fire force.
Like everything I've thought about fire force kind of just
like had to change because of the most recent season, OK,
(48:03):
because of what they revealed and it's the same thing.
It's I feel like, you know, since she did work with what's
to say they did work with those that the same manga, those two
series. I was like, OK, you learned like
you, you learned from your sensei essentially and figured
out how to make it your own. So.
That's great. And what I love them the most
about Gotcha Alcatel, which willalways make me be more of an
(48:24):
anime person than the manga person, is the music that they
add to it. Right.
Yeah, very cool. Like when they were in that town
trying to like find a new personthat makes the.
Painting town and like canvas Town.
Like everything's like the fireworks and the music started
playing and they they started playing like Afrobeats music.
Like they was playing like NOLA bounce music.
I was saying like. Let's go.
(48:45):
Yeah, this is. This is what an adaptation is.
Truly. You create, you put creativity
behind it, like. Vibes that you can never suss
out while reading. Like you don't just take the
pages and you put color into it,right?
You're you're adding personalization.
On its own identity, you know what I mean?
So. All right, so how are we
feeling? What if, I mean, there's what,
(49:06):
one more episode? You said one more episode,
right? I can't imagine that one episode
is really going to change your mind that drastically.
So might might as well give you a rating for the year.
I think 8 out of 10/8. Out of 10.
Solid gotcha Aquata 8 out of 10.You heard it here.
What is it for you 8? I would say an 8 as far as far
as it goes, the adaptation for me was great.
I loved it. Yeah, really.
Because it's not really like crazy.
(49:27):
Yeah, that's not insane. Yeah.
Yeah, like the real, like, engine didn't even want to fight
that one guy, right. So like, there's just funny
moments like that, Yeah. Where it's just like, what is
he? Is he just, I mean, I guess he's
just not going to get a moment this arc.
Which like essentially is the need to, you know, you're like,
I need you. To hit me first.
And he's like, I'm not going to fight you.
I'm going to leave. I'm.
(49:47):
Not going to hit you because youwant me to hit you and sounds
like a bad idea. Sounds.
Like a trap. The trap trap.
And I like that. Like not only was the Blakey
moment, but even Engine, how he kind of goes about that moment
alone. I said, see, that's common
sense. Yeah, no, literally.
Because let this been another series they would have been like
(50:08):
I'm a hit em anyway. Get out of my way.
Get out of my way. Yeah.
And he's going to be like, you don't.
Know what you did? Just sitting there like I think,
I think so. Are you sure about that?
Are you sure? And now we got a glimpse of not
Sydney Zoo type. It has a secret Jekyll and Hyde
side to him. He's like, let me take over.
(50:30):
I'll. Kill him this time.
So real, real interesting. So and and we have a lot of
questions for next season, whichis great.
So I think it was a great first season, but that's it for me.
Wow, that was like a dandy what we watching?
Yeah, I had a lot this time. I had a lot to talk about.
All right, Well, moving on to me, I'm going to talk about some
(50:51):
things that I know you guys haven't watched first, before we
get into the things that I know we've all watched.
OK, You know what, how should I go about this?
Because, all right, shrinking. I started shrinking on Apple TV.
What is that? I watched the first half of the
first season. Yeah, you all dropped.
It. You dropped it.
You didn't like it. I.
(51:13):
Don't want to say I didn't like it because I didn't like it,
it's too harsh of an opinion. I just.
Drinking is a show on Apple TV or Jason Seal is the main
character and he's a therapist, OK.
And he is his wife just died. So he's he's going through it
and it's kind of like him dealing with that.
He has like a 17 year old daughter and how he's kind of
(51:36):
like neglected her for a year because he's kind of just been
crashing out like to the point where like he's like getting
prostitutes and like doing linesof coke in like the pool, the
pool house, shit like that. Harrison Ford is another
psychiatrist who's like kind of his boss slash mentor.
And there's like a lot of other characters and actors that you
would recognize from other series.
It's a comedy mostly, but it just talks about life and how to
(52:01):
deal with grief and how you can move on from whatever is going
on in your life. I think it's really good.
I fell in love with it immediately.
I don't know what it is, what itwas just at the time when I
watched it, I just wasn't ready to commit to it.
Wasn't it just wasn't interesting enough in the
(52:22):
moment, Yeah. For me so like.
I don't want to say like I didn't like it because that's
not the opinion I have about it.It's just more like.
It was a hint for you, I kind. Of just like just stopped, yeah.
Well, season 3 comes out next month so tune in for that.
I finished the Kobe's Original Sin 6 episodes done.
No spoilers. No.
Spoilers. I did think it was very sad.
(52:43):
I did tear up a couple of times.OK, I don't think it's a must
watch. I don't think it's a must watch
for the year. That's my personal opinion.
I'm not saying it's a bad seriesby any means.
I'll I'll give it an 8 out of 10because the animation is very
well done. It's very smooth.
It kind of has like an older feel to it aesthetically and I I
(53:07):
appreciate that. OK, again, the contact, the
story, the content and the storytelling of everything that
happened it it resonated, it hit.
I don't know. That's just you can't say too
much. Yeah, I'm just like, I'm not
going to say like you have to. I will watch it regardless.
I will. Obviously for what we're doing
on Saturday, yes, yes, yes, yeah.
(53:28):
Of course, you know, you have towatch it.
But aside from that, if we weren't doing that, I wouldn't.
What what I think to Kobe's origins and offers is just a
different type of story in a pool full of shown in show Joe
happy go lucky. I don't want to feel like
there's a lot there's a lot of people go to like you said, a
(53:48):
lot of people go to anime for this kind of escapism type of
idea. Right, and we know that anime
can mean so much more and can impact your way of thinking and
help you kind of sort through your emotions and has the
ability to do all those things. And that's what I enjoyed about
to copies original sin. Like it gave me a moment to
really self reflect and also really think about my, my place
(54:13):
and with other people and like how I treat other people and how
other people treat me and where I am mentally and like
understanding where other peopleare.
They like this, that, that was a, a series that made me forced
me to think more about my relationship with other people.
And there's not a lot of most ofthe series we watched.
Let's just keep it a buck throughout.
Everything we talked about this past year didn't really offer
(54:36):
that that I watched anime wise this year.
So that was just something different and refreshing to
have. That was also only 6 episodes
and got the job done in six episodes.
You know what's funny? I'm not saying it's a one to one
comparison, but I felt like someof the like to be Hero X had a
(54:56):
lot of like really emotional anddamaged characters in that too,
that we got introduced to like so many of them.
And again, I'm not saying it's like a one to one between like
Jacoby's original Sin and that, but like I'm I'm like watching
Jacoby's original Sin and like if I'm talking about like sad
and damaged characters, I just Ikept thinking about To be Hero
X. That's just something that like
I I understand what you mean. Yeah, but that's like show bro
(55:18):
in you though, and that's the only reason why you find that
probably more not more palatablepalatable, but like.
No, I'm not saying it. Was Toby had actually doing it
like that? I'm not saying it's better and
that's why I was saying it's notlike a one for one but like.
Yeah, Toby, Hero X is touching on it, but that's not what it's
about, you know what I mean? And I'm saying, like, this
series is about that you cannot escape, you know, because like,
(55:41):
men like to escape to talk aboutfeelings.
You can't escape what the seriesis about.
There's no episode that gives you a breather within the You
got to stop pressing me. She wants attention.
She. Just keeps on walking up on me.
Crazy. Doggies running all over the
place. You can't really escape the
Friends of Tacopy's original sin.
Whereas like, yeah, there's an episode of two that's going to
(56:02):
make you feel something to be Hero X, but that's just not
it's. Not what it's about, it's not.
What it's about, you know what Imean?
So it's like the entirety of it.I think it just for some people,
some people might need this show.
You know what I mean? There, there are people who
might be mentally in a place andemotionally in a place or may
have had people in their lives who have felt specific ways,
especially as children into Kobe's original sin that might
(56:26):
need a story like this to experience something that
they've never they've themselvesexperienced.
I guess in regards to those feelings in the show.
It's understandable. That's how I feel about.
It what else? Pluribus.
Pluribus. Are you still watching it?
Of course. OK.
Are you caught up? Yes.
Well, except for tomorrow's episode.
(56:46):
Well, tonight you haven't started.
It's tonight. Oh, I guess Thursday night
early. OK.
Pluribus is still going on. That's that show that we were
talking to you about where it's like a virus that takes over
humanity. And you know, the main
character, Carol, is, you know, trying to work through it.
She's meeting with the other nonvirus infected people and
they're kind of just like she. Got kicked out the group chat.
(57:07):
She's kind of been like doing her own thing since the like
first initial meeting, right, where she left the worst
impression, right? Things happen, shenanigans
happen whenever she meets up with one of the people, the guy
who's out here banging all of the virus infected people,
right? And she's talking to him and
he's like, oh, we worry for you,Carol.
You know, we we think we do talkabout you.
(57:27):
And she's like, whoa, we who's we me and the other, you know,
non affected people. She's like, whoa, you guys talk?
Yeah, we we meet. Weekly what are you talking
about? You meet weekly?
Just fuck zoom calls every like Tuesdays.
Thursday, 'cause she tried to bea smart ass, she's like, oh, I
just cause like she's a puta, right?
So she can't. She cannot help being a puta.
OK, so. She's like, I just, I just wait.
(57:48):
She can't. She can't, she cannot help it,
bro. She just has to be an asshole
every minute. That's why she don't.
That's why she's not in the group chat.
Yeah, damn. She was like, Oh yeah, just
wasting jet full of fuel and just flying a little place.
And she was, he was like, no, wejust zoom and she was like.
Oh yeah, that's the thing. It's just like, can I come?
And he's like, there was a vote. You got voted off the island.
(58:12):
That's so funny. We.
Don't think that we think that you're a little kind of messed
up the vibes, yeah. So.
You're not. You're not in the chat.
So she she's struggling. She like she's really trying to,
she's trying to do the right thing.
She's trying to bring humanity back.
And she found out through like interacting with the virus
people that there is a way to switch people back.
(58:32):
But the virus infected people. They're not telling her.
They're not telling her no. Answer all your other questions,
but this one they're like. They're like, no.
So she's like, she even tried drugging one of them and giving
them like a truth serum kind of thing.
'Cause they broke up with her. What do you mean they broke?
But that that happened before, that happened after.
Well, you get all the way here now and didn't even tell the
part where they broke up. Where you satchel?
(58:53):
Afterwards. So the non virus people broke
up? She drugged the one girl, so she
drugs this one, the one one of the virus people.
She's trying to get answers. She like tests a truth serum on
herself and then gives it to to the person.
Heroin it was heroin it. Wasn't a truth, it was heroin.
I thought the heroin she dumped in the toilet.
No, she gave her like, like actual drugs like.
(59:13):
She gave her drugs, I don't think was heroin.
Anyways. Why would it doesn't matter?
Well, she gave them something, right?
And the entire time, like they start feeling it.
So they're approaching her and they're like, Carol, please
stop, Carol, please stop. And then the person that she
infected the drug with ended up like having a seizure and they
have to like try to resuscitate her and everything, right?
And she's like, she's still trying to get answers.
(59:34):
Like Carol's like she's being a she's being a Dick.
Like so after that, like Corey said, they broke up with her.
They they evacuated the whole town and surrounding area,
providing no more support, right?
So she tried calling them, right?
Pick ring, ring, ring, ring. Hi, Carol.
Where are you guys? This is a recording.
We thought that after like the things that have happened, we
(59:56):
felt like we really needed space.
So if you need anything, let us know and we'll do whatever we
can to the best of our abilities.
But right now, I think it's bestthat we don't interact.
Was it heroin? It was heroin syringes but she
used something called sodium andpencil syringes.
But so like now every time she calls them she has to wait for
(01:00:17):
the voice message and then press0.
She don't. They don't speak to directly no
more. Wow.
Because they were like we need our space.
Because she spazzed out on them, remember, like if you're like
really negative to them, they like start seizing and spazzing
out. So she did that two times and
then she kidnapped one of them and drugged them.
So they're like. We can't trust you.
Yeah. It's a rap, but she's taking it
so bad. Yeah, that's why she ended up
(01:00:39):
going to the other dude and being like, yo, yeah, why I'm
not in the group chatting. He was like, you know, you know,
nobody really banging with you. Like she drove from Because this
takes place in like Albuquerque.Albuquerque.
The one dude, he's decided to stay in Elvis Suite in Vegas,
but she drove all the way to Vegas to go see him because
like, she's trying to get everybody to see her tapes.
She keeps making all these videotapes of like all the
(01:01:00):
discoveries she's making. She's really busting her ass to
really try to figure out how to fix this thing.
And she, she found out, yo, but hold on.
The guy who lives in Vegas, yo, this man was living his best
life. He literally lived a James Bond
fucking casino scene in the, in the, in the casino where like
he's that guy at the poker table.
(01:01:20):
Like there's like a a Russian guy with the eye patch over his
eye. He's living his best.
Like he's having these people play roles.
Oh, that, I mean I'd be having some fun too.
Listen, I mean, it's it's morally, I guess, questionable,
but it. What can you do at that point,
you know? Yeah, but she.
She thought she had like the smoking gun be like, yo, after
(01:01:41):
these people find out, there aregoing to be on my side and
they're going to want to fix this, right?
So she found out that these alien people have warehouses
full of chopped up frozen human bodies.
And so she's like video recording and she's like, why
are they doing this? No, no, no, no, no.
When she goes to meet up with the guy in Vegas, she's like,
you're going to want to sit down, trust me, you're going to
(01:02:01):
want to see this. And he's like.
This is going to blow your mind.Is this about the dead bodies?
She's like, you know about that? And he literally, he plays a
video and it's John Cena explaining why these buyers,
people. Like, yeah, I just axed because
if you just axe them things because she can't help being a
Bootha. Yeah.
She's like, yeah, we just axed and they told us he was like,
(01:02:22):
how are you guys surviving if you can't kill things and all
those other stuff? He's like, and this is what we
do. We made a video.
So. What was the dead bodies?
So they can't kill any animal orthey can't kill any living
being. That includes plants, fruit they
can't pick. Fruits off of.
Trees. What?
Only if an apple falls off a tree on its own.
But they cannot pick fruits off trees.
They don't want to. Disturb any anything right?
(01:02:45):
If you poop in that bathroom. So The thing is, there's a
billions of people on this planet.
There's no factories, there's noslaughter houses, there's no
farming or anything like that. So eventually they're going to
run out of food to support that many people.
So what they're doing is they'refreezing all of the recently
(01:03:07):
dead bodies and preserving it. And they're like doing like some
process to like liquefy them part by part just to get the
bare minimum they need just to survive a day.
It's. Like they try to meet their
exact amount of calories and protein that they need and they
serve them in elementary school milk cartoons.
And carols against us should they?
But they're eating people. But then the other like not
(01:03:29):
buyers. Cannibalizing.
They said we wish we didn't haveto do that, but like.
Otherwise, these people will die.
Because they're they they've already calculated how long they
have until they have 10 years before they start to actually
run out of stuff, before people start actually dying from
starvation. They already they've already
calculated it like this is their.
And the other guy was like, well, they can't do all these
(01:03:51):
other things. So I guess this is the only
option they have. He's like, they haven't they not
feeding it to me. So I'm I'm still loving the
show. Yeah.
I'm still liking it. I, I, I still can't imagine it
would go past two seasons, you know, like I, I really don't see
how far they're going to take this show, but I'm still having.
It's only going to be 8 episodesfor the first season, so I can
(01:04:11):
see it lasting more than two seasons, maybe let's say 3 to 4.
OK. That sounds about right, yeah.
All right, and we're talking to talk about this show next
because I know we've both watched it, but I'm going to
talk about another show afterwards.
Stranger Things season 5. You watch Forgot.
I watched it. Oh, wow.
Yeah, yeah. Oh yeah.
Totally forgot I watched it. OK.
(01:04:32):
It's the first 4 episodes of Stranger Things season 5 dropped
on Netflix. The remaining episodes will
drop, I think, on Christmas. Christmas and New Year and.
Then the series finale, which isgoing to be a 2 hour long
episode, is going to be releasedin movie theaters.
Whoopee. Yes, they did say they said you
could do either or so you can't just wait to watch it on Netflix
or you can go into the movie theater.
(01:04:53):
And see it you're still not seeing demos layer Chainsaw Man
or JJ. Ki have to watch.
I haven't seen Chainsaw Man. I have to watch JJ, Yeah.
All right. What do you guys think about
season 5 of Trainer Things? I thought it was really well
done, it just sucks that it's taking this long to get here.
If they would have done it all together it would have been
better, but I feel like it's so short because it's like you
finally get a little bit and it's like that's it.
(01:05:14):
Like this is all we get. I I feel like I would even
appreciate it if they dropped a week per week instead of just 4
episodes. That's it.
Silence from. Back the weekly model.
She's here, I'm telling. The.
Binge and stuff is the. It's no good because the fact
that it's even like it's not even a full binge.
It's a it's 1/2 binge. It's 1/2.
Binge which is worse? Thank God forbid you don't watch
(01:05:35):
it the night it drops. Yep.
Because then everybody named Mother, which is just making
memes, is doing random scenes. That's so funny, I had to watch.
I had to work the overnight shift the night it dropped so I
literally watched it the moment it dropped.
That's so funny, I think. I was like about a day or daily
I think. I watched like the first two
episodes the day it dropped and then.
(01:05:55):
I think, I think that this season for me, I, I, I, there
are multiple reasons why I'm notfeeling it.
Ultimately, I just think that it's just gone on too long.
I agree. I agree.
It's just I don't care anymore. I feel like this show should
have ended two seasons ago at this point.
Yeah. And what they're giving me after
so long, I'm just like, what arewe doing?
(01:06:16):
So like I I do like what's happening.
I do still think it's consistently good television.
I can't necessarily, I can't necessarily say I think it
should have ended two seasons ago.
I can say I think that it shouldhave came out two years ago,
three years ago. It should have finished then.
But I think that, you know, the fatigue of it all, Like we're
(01:06:36):
talking about a series that started in 2016, just like My
Hero that we're talking about nine years later.
Wow. And there's not enough, it's
just not enough content to justify that amount of time and.
Characters. There's so many characters who
like, haven't even had like, anytime to shine really.
(01:06:56):
I think like, no, I think we've gotten to the point where we've
seen all. Right, let's start with Steve
the Hair. What's Steve the Hair done in
these 4 episodes? Well, not in this, but like he's
had. Backstop, we're talking about
this, but we're talking about this.
Has other. Right now in my he's been.
Having death flags, OK. But what about Dustin?
What does Dustin? Do except get his teeth kicked
in. OK, hold up.
I think that this season. Instead of going really
(01:07:19):
individual stories very deeply like it has in the past, now
we're at the point where they are all together.
Like they have a team, like now they have a system.
They're moving as a unit. Yeah, they're moving as a unit.
Because like all the moving parts, they realized, oh shit,
all of us were dealing with all these things up same time.
Now we all know the tea, we cametogether and now we can work
(01:07:42):
together to work through what's happening.
And it's nice to see them work as a unit and work.
They're like, OK, we got a plan,we can execute it, you know, get
it together. Jonathan and Steve having a
pissing contest the entire time for Nancy.
'S attention. That's annoying, by the way,
Nancy, Welcome. Dow.
Wheeler. Pew.
Pew. Pew.
Nancy's. Best girl of.
The season she really is, she's the.
(01:08:03):
The Queen of the Pew Pew. She's the.
Queen. She was in.
Gotcha, Akuta. Yeah.
No, Nancy's doing. Nancy's doing a really good.
Thing she's real big that was. Like the one time I was like I
when her parents were in the hospital.
Oh my God, at the same time one of them.
Should have died. I don't know, I think.
One of them should have. Died I'm.
Because like you're thinking. About a season.
(01:08:24):
Specific and I'm thinking about it.
Throughout the whole series and the yes, you got to look at it
all together. I'm not looking at it
especially. Because you can't talk about.
This I I don't feel comfortable talking about the season saying
like a definite answer because like I don't know what's going
to happen where those moments might come.
And then it's just like, OK, nowthat's just like a take age like
(01:08:46):
milk because you were only halfway through the season,
right. I do feel like everybody kind of
the characters that got their time this season where the
characters haven't gotten their time in the past seasons.
Like what Boca? What's Boca?
Will, yes, Will, Will. Will has had nothing to do.
For like since like. The beginning of the series, or
maybe since season 2. And like now, they finally let
(01:09:08):
him do stuff. Yeah, this season, right?
They didn't do much. They didn't do much until, like,
the last five minutes. Sure.
No, but like we've seen him and he's participating, speaking
he's. More involved he's speaking
before he's trying to accept hisfirst season him to shut up I
mean he's. Overprotective mom, you know you
got it. I'm just right, you're correct,
overprotective. Mom like you know, what can you
(01:09:29):
do? But he's trying to watching.
He's trying to get involved, he's trying to help and.
Yeah, he's just not the. Character was from prior seasons
is all I'm. Saying like, sure, all those
things could be happening where his mom's in his way, but the
character is more active in the story than he's ever been,
right? Whereas, like Lucas, we've got
enough Lucas for all the past seasons.
(01:09:51):
Lucas has done a. Lot in the entirety of the
series, especially his whole plot line with What's the girl
Max right like that. Like the amount of stuff that
Lucas got to. Do.
A lot 11 a lot like everybody has gotten a lot to do
throughout the entirety of Stranger Things, but this boy
and now we're getting some stufffrom a more Dustin.
(01:10:13):
Thing too. Yeah, Steve.
Got mad stuff to do throughout the whole all of the.
Series like I, it's fine. Like I, I'm not play with like
Steve not doing a lot in these first 4 episodes.
Yeah, you know what I mean? Like he'll have his moment to
shine. That relationship is kind of
happening with him and Dustin. Dustin's going through a whole
bunch of. Depression from losing the only
person that actually told him you can just be you.
(01:10:34):
Where like, Steve's thing was trying to get him to be cooler.
Yeah. And having him be himself.
So he's a his. His character is going through
its own arc because they are getting older and they're
fielding more teenage things andlike they're a little bit more
separate like this. I I still enjoy stranger things.
I still I will never say like stranger things fell off in any
way. I just my FS that I give are not
(01:10:56):
as high because it's just takingtoo long yes so I can understand
where you might feel a little more negative towards things
that if I think if it came out ashort amount of time you
wouldn't feel as negative yes. I agree, I think Netflix has had
this problem of. Just taking too long in between
seasons, for years in between that we're seeing the characters
grow too fast because they take too long.
Like, look what's happening withAvatar Last Airbender.
(01:11:19):
I don't know if you've seen the picture, big boy.
Yeah, that's a big that's. A big ass boy Ang literally just
he's that's a man that's. A man that's not a 14 year old
boy anymore. Taxes now.
Yeah, that was, that's. 24 years.
Exactly. That's the.
Problem 2020. Maybe the beginning of 2424.
(01:11:40):
Maybe. Yeah, 'cause I know we had Kumar
in the episode. We were talking about it.
It was a while. That was in November or December
of 2023. That's crazy.
Two years and he grew up that much.
Oh my God. He's a teenager.
Teenagers, they grow very fast. Look.
At the. Look at the Stranger Things cast
like they took so long in between that one scene where
Will and and and his mom. And his mom picks up.
(01:12:01):
Will and Robin on like the side of the road and she's like
yelling at them and then will like speaks up.
He's like, no, mom, your plan was stupid.
You should have listened to me like you always put it.
And he like, starts yelling at her.
And I'm just over here like, whyis this grown ass boy yelling at
his mom like that? But then I remember he's
supposed to be like 11 or 12. Yeah, throwing a tantrum.
But he's so old, like 14. He's yelling at his mom like
1515. 1415. But like, yeah.
(01:12:23):
Grown ass man. He's a grown ass man.
Why are you yelling at your? Mom, but he's supposed to be a
kid. Throwing a tantrum?
Yeah, no. You gotta think about her like
overprotective parent and he's finally.
Sticking up for himself, you know, Which is, like I said,
like I like, I like what? They are fine.
I like the characters, even if Idon't like maybe what they're
doing, and maybe they could do it better.
At least he's doing something. Yeah, instead of nothing like
(01:12:44):
he's always. Yes, he's being more involved.
The real MVP is delightful, Derek.
The what? Delightful, Derek.
Oh, delightful. Derek, I said.
The life. Life with Derek?
Really. Loving this kid online and you
don't like delightful Derek? I mean he started out as asshole
of. Course and the.
Fact that he liked. Derek.
Dipshit Derek. And then he changed.
Sure, that's I, I don't. I don't.
(01:13:07):
See the appeal. He saw the.
Monster and he. Was like, all right, I know I.
I got to go for the greater good.
I can't be like this no more. He changed the rulers.
That was that was bad. Funny man.
You just he's. Dead.
Think of the dog licking. The bow Another thing I.
Didn't like about. The season was.
Like the whole Hopper fake out death thing.
Like he had like the bomb strapped to his chest like that
(01:13:28):
was actually a really a really emotional moment.
He was ready and then like 5 minutes later he's like, he's
suicidal. Actually.
This is a suicidal man. I actually.
Jumped to conclusion. I didn't.
Need to do that whole thing. Sorry.
Sorry all. I didn't find your sister,
though. I didn't think he was gonna die
in that moment though. I I so lukewarm.
Yes, if that was going. To be his death, that would.
Like whack that. I knew he wasn't gonna die two
(01:13:49):
seasons ago when the explosion at the.
Scientific lab and then he ends up in.
Russia. So that's already like one fake
out death. Yeah, that's why I knew he
wasn't gonna second fake out death thing.
I'm just like, what are we? I knew it wasn't gonna happen.
He was just drawing this out youdon't even like.
It anymore just sounds like. Honestly, drop it.
He's just done with. It I'm no, I'm going to keep
watching it you. Got to see it through my boy.
How it ends I want to see. If these 4.
(01:14:10):
Episodes really led to anything.Or if they really were just
filler episodes because that's what it felt like to me.
What exactly what happens in these 4 episodes?
That you were like, oh man. That's so cool we're finding
out. Oh, whoa, reframe.
What's your question? What did you like?
What did? You like what did you like 1 You
went from saying filler and thenyou.
Asked me what was cool. What did you like about this
(01:14:31):
season? What did I enjoy about this
season? I enjoyed when homies pulled up
into the Wheeler's house. Like that scene, like that
moment, all that when the Demogorgon was the mother was
fighting, the father tried and the little sister, like that
whole scene. I thought that was cool.
I enjoyed when they were trying to get the kids into the tunnel.
(01:14:52):
That whole interaction and that scene, I thought that was cool.
I thought the driving around, like trying to like track down
the demagogue in through the little satellite thing.
I enjoyed those moments. Even the Upside Down seeing the
adventures going on over there with 11.
And yeah, what's his name? Hopper or whatever, like when
they were like by that wall and then.
(01:15:14):
They were like, kind of like. Trapped.
In the van, like the bus or whatever where they was like
trying to like go Pew Pew and all that stuff.
I like those moments. I like the moments where Robin
and will finally connecting and things like that and try to help
him try to figure out his sexuality a little bit more.
I enjoyed those moments. So there's moments I I still.
Find the. Show as good television.
(01:15:34):
There's still not that much TV. Better than Stranger Things in
my opinion. I but I get that you're over it
and I think that that's weighingmore than anything.
No, Yeah, it definitely is what you gonna say.
I think if you would have. Watched it all.
The way through like if you rewatched.
It and just saw it through you'dfeel better about it perhaps
because you just picking up where we left off and you're
(01:15:57):
just like, I don't really care. I don't really remember much of
this, but like this. Is it like?
That's how I would feel like you're giving the vibe.
I watched a recap video before Istarted this.
That's, you know, that's not thesame.
That's not the same. I'm not going to re watch a
whole. Season, I mean, it's a refresh.
I mean the seasons. Are short, but like I understand
I. Understand.
I'm not going to say that you should.
Rededicate yourself to re watching the whole thing overall
(01:16:19):
but your opinion is it sounds extremely jaded by being over it
instead of just trying to enjoy the story for what it is Like I
get it, they look like fucking adults.
I get it. These kids are not Billy, Bobby
Brown and Mary. These adults are not as good.
Actors as they as. We thought they would because we
(01:16:40):
gave them passes because they were kids and now they're
adults. So maybe the acting might be
hitting different things like that.
But like, the raw story for whatit is, I can't say that like,
yeah, this is a dumb plot point. This didn't make sense.
This wasn't entertaining, This wasn't cool Like this.
Just not, like I said, there's just not a lot of American
television that is, you know, real life, whatever, not
(01:17:02):
animated and stuff like that, doing what Stranger Things is
doing. That's true.
It's refreshing to go from, I don't know, watching it.
Pluribus, which is a little moregrounded and not as supernatural
and things like that. I don't watch as many
supernatural live action shows as maybe you do, so I still find
it entertaining. Yeah, it's funny you say that
because the next show is going to bring up and it's.
(01:17:22):
Another It's like, wow, can we talk about certain things at
all? Oh, well, yeah, yeah.
I mean, do you have? Anything to say?
No, I was. Going to say I'm.
First of all, I'm really happy that they plot back.
The plot point of her sister being there because I was like,
wow, is that going to be the endor we just, yeah, we completely
forgot about 8. What?
Completely forgot about it, Yeah.
Season 2 because everybody hates.
That's those seasons it. It was like, I thought it was
(01:17:44):
fine, you know, It gave her more.
Personality. You know.
But so I'm glad they didn't justforget about it like everyone
was saying like, OK, I guess this is never being brought up
again. That's it.
But so I'm glad they came full circle in that to make people
shut the fuck up. Yeah, it's it felt very I just.
Got to say it very one PC in that moment where it was just
like, and you guys thought that it didn't matter.
(01:18:06):
You would just say skip those episodes.
Yeah. And then now you don't know what
the fuck is happening in the finale and now you're confused.
So I don't know. I think it's good.
I like that. They're moving like.
We said before, I like that they're moving as a unit.
They seem more of a team and they're more put together.
And even though they're more puttogether, it's still falling
apart at the same time. Also, Max, hello, that whole
(01:18:27):
section, the fact that she's back, that is the one thing I
don't like. I don't like that is.
Really. Because to what?
Oh. We don't.
Know yeah, it's because they're stuck.
In an alternate. Thing and we don't know why
he's. Gathering the kids, we just
don't know the end of the story,so that's such a fight.
Like you're phrasing things in such a finality type way.
(01:18:48):
Like what did that amount to? As if we're done with this show.
I just don't. It just doesn't make no goddamn
sense. I'm just like confused.
I'm like OK so her body's there but she's here.
But like this is a real world because the little sister is
here. Like at this point I'm like,
y'all are asking me to suspend my belief a little bit too much
because is she physically here or not?
Because the little the little Wheeler girl is there.
(01:19:11):
Yeah. So is she not really there at
all because she's reacting with they're?
There. If anything, Vecna probably has
her body somewhere. In the upside down and is just.
Transporting her mind to another.
Yeah, exactly. Mindscape dimension.
Her body's in the hospital. Oh, Max's body's.
In the hospital, yes, Yeah, but.Like still you still.
You think the little girl's body?
OK, I didn't think about that. Yeah, but Holly's body.
Is in the upside down. One thing I will say.
(01:19:33):
Is that I saw like a theory on TikTok.
Last thing I'll mention about this before we move on, but that
like Vecna is apparently a character straight up from D&D
like that's why they named him that.
And he has like his hand apparently is like itself a
weapon. And it's apparently specifically
his left hand, which we see thathe actually has like messed up
(01:19:55):
and everything. And people are saying like OK,
Vecna's hand can be passed on toanother person.
And so people are speculating OK, Will has these two powers.
Maybe the whole point of Vecna is going to be passing on that
to like the curse essentially toWill so that he gets rid of it.
Because especially in the last scene when Will got his powers,
(01:20:18):
they zoomed in on his left hand in the same aspect so I was.
It's like, OK, so this could be something we look forward to
because people have been speculating whether Will's going
to have powers or not, but it's like, OK, are we going to see
Vecna fully take advantage of that or attempt to take
advantage of that to do that? You never know because it is
apparently a whole plot point inDD by itself.
(01:20:38):
Have you seen the theory that Vecna is actually Will's mom?
So apparently there's some like Stranger Things play that had
come out and it's kind of like alittle flashback thing and you
see what's his mom's name? Janice.
No. What's what's her name?
Winona Ryder I. Don't know the character.
'S name Winona Ryder. It's like a younger version of.
Her and like Hawkins High Schooland then somebody who looks like
(01:21:00):
human Vecna. Yeah, they went to high school
together. It was the flashy they like go.
Out and it's like insinuated like.
Oh, what if they got together? What if that be his dad 'cause
we don't know who Will's dad is?Yes, we did.
We saw him at the beginning. He left him.
Yeah, they said he left yeah thein the first season.
He was there and he was like. Y'all think I'm going to know
(01:21:21):
for this kid like I don't even care for this kid like he's
probably dead like and he was like all right, fuck you leave,
never come back. Don't give a fuck about will
like we don't remember. You don't remember Joyce.
Joyce. There we go Joyce.
I was close with Janice. Yeah, you were close.
You were close like multiple I. Know yeah like his dad is was.
There he left. Oh.
Wow. That theory's out the window,
(01:21:41):
though. Yeah, no, he was like.
The the kids probably gay. Anyway, like I'm over it.
Like he kind of implies that that is like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
OK, so. Yeah, no, I think.
It's a good season. I mean, Oh.
So so far I think. It's entertaining.
And did you at least enjoy the MO Wing guy's powers?
You thought that was cool? Well, you just.
Yeah, I just, you know, it's like the only part that I.
(01:22:03):
Really enjoyed after 4 episodes in this last five minutes.
What can you do? What can you do?
Alright. Anyways.
So continuing off of what you said.
Regarding. Supernatural shows that are live
action in America, that also have to do because you said
that. Yeah, that also have to do with.
(01:22:23):
A group of. Kids battling A paranormal
demonic Oh you talking about that?
Welcome to dairy shit. The HBOS.
Welcome to dairy. It's a horror show.
It is a horror show it. You mentioned it's.
Amazing. Every.
Episode has. Me on the edge of my chair.
Pennywise. Bill Skarsgard's adaptation of
(01:22:46):
Stephen King's Pennywise. Oh, he comes back is.
Yeah, he came back for the role the director was.
Not going to do. This prequel if Bill Skarsgard
did not come back for the role and if they don't give this man
some kind of award for the Shenan's he is doing in the show
as Pennywise Outstanding. OK sensation.
I see a lot of people. I see a lot of black people.
(01:23:06):
Talk about on TikTok, it's all it's all over black TikTok.
Well, we love we love the theme song.
Apparently as a culture we making the themes almost like a
whole. NOLA bounce thing.
It's a really. Listen, man, you know, we take
something, we make it something.Yeah, because.
He said it was like a. It's tied to like a lot of
cultural things there too. So like I think about people
getting a lot out of watching, like how they how it kind of
(01:23:27):
plays through. But what were you going to say?
No, that just like the show, theway that these kids are.
Dealing with like, like there are consequences in the show.
And I think that maybe that's something that I'm also missing
from Stranger Things is like when you go up against things
like this, It's it's not things don't always work out.
You're going to lose people or you're going to actually
(01:23:50):
experience traumatic events. And you see the repercussions of
what this clown, essentially this entity is doing to the kids
and the town, the influence it has on the town because one of
the big things is it messes withpeople individually, but it also
has a area of effect, right? Where like the area that it
(01:24:10):
inhabits, it makes people more violence.
And adults are like everyone's kind of like adults are kind of
like in a daze because it targets children.
So adults kind of like they're like, you know, like when we
were growing up, like nobody believes kids.
Nobody give a crap about kids. Like everybody would just, it's
(01:24:30):
kind of like that, but like times 10.
So like, these kids are like, really?
By themselves, they're like trying.
To tell people, oh, the clowns coming after us and they're like
man, shut up and get out of here.
Shoe shoe shoe, shoe. I think that Welcome to Dairy is
very well shot. The storytelling is great it.
It was a show. As a as a Stephen King IT fan, I
enjoyed the movies that came outback in like 20/17/2019.
(01:24:53):
I did not need the show to be a thing.
But Oh my God am I so happy thatit is a thing because it is
doing wonders. It is breathing fresh air into
the Stephen King novels so many people are making videos of like
his other books like The Shining, Doctor sleep, the Dark
Tower, how it ties into how all of them are tied into like these
the these characters. I rewatched the IT movies and
(01:25:17):
it's just like re. It's bringing back like almost
like a nostalgia feel for it. It's going to be two more
seasons and what they're it's like, it's like a prequel.
So like the first season is a prequel to the original it
movie. The second season is going to be
a prequel to the first season and then third a prequel to the
second. Because Pennywise comes out
(01:25:38):
every 27 years for its feeding cycle where it feeds on people
and children for one year beforeit goes back to sleep Sounds.
So now I want to. Tie into what you're saying with
this. To Stranger Things, it sounds
like you have a bias because like one.
Well, This is why I wanted to bring it up Second, because I
think. Another thing that influenced me
(01:26:01):
with Stranger Things and I've I've been seeing it a lot online
too. It it was, it was bad that it
came out. Before and and at the.
Same time a Stranger Things, because you're watching
something like Welcome to Dairy and then you're watching
Stranger Things and it's just like I, I think they don't feel
comparable. Though it's a group of.
Kids fighting sure, but one is 1is literally a horror.
(01:26:25):
It's horror and the other one is.
Not. Yeah, yeah, like.
This is more like. Sci-fi Yeah, this is more
sci-fi. Excitement, that is.
Literally based off of a horror movie.
OK, and it's a sci-fi horror series, sure, but it's a.
It it motherfucks be dying left. And right exactly.
But that's expected to and it I never seen them right.
So yeah, maybe it's me speaking out of.
(01:26:47):
Ignorance so but outside lookingin, I would never watching it
because it's a it's horror. Yes or no?
Yeah, it is 100%. So you are.
Already expecting and things arejust going to just.
Different things are going to happen in a horror, right?
Yes, No, yes or no? Yeah, but stranger.
Things has never. Been that I know, and I'm not
expecting it to be that it sounds like you.
(01:27:08):
Are how am I expecting Stranger things to be something?
Different than the last four. Seasons, it feels like you're
saying welcome to dairy definitely influenced my, I
guess taste. I wasn't expecting anything dark
like that, but it's just it's it's hard to go from something
that you prefer to something that is not as good.
But I feel like you're thinking it's not as good because the
(01:27:29):
kids aren't dying like no one's.Dying again I I feel like there
aren't that many. Consequences like when you see
what like these kids and Stranger Things are going
through very stressful situations and I guess you just
don't see it as much as how they're showing it to you.
And welcome to dairy like these kids are, they're not OK.
They're not, they're not OK. I'm not saying you wrong though,
(01:27:52):
but your your expectations. Seem like you're saying,
especially because you're talking about going back from
watching one thing and then the other.
I don't know man, I'm not expecting.
Stranger things to be a one-on-one, I'm telling.
You right now. What I prefer.
Yeah, we know you so did you? Never so.
Did you never at no point enjoy?Stranger Things, No, I did and
(01:28:16):
so. But even when the fourth season
came out. Whenever it did, I was already
feeling the fatigue of Stranger Things.
That is a show. That is a show where I will
agree with you that is going on too long.
I story a story. I don't think so.
I think it's just. More than it took so long.
To come out anyways. So where would you exactly?
(01:28:39):
Where would you have ended, stranger?
Things couldn't tell you couldn't tell you.
I just think. That he's over it.
Because it's taking. So long at the.
Time between? I thought I did, yeah, but it's
like you're you're talking aboutso many.
You're like. Talking about so many other
aspects of. It that you're like.
This part whatever, like I like the mother fucker's not dying.
The kids ain't like things like that.
(01:29:00):
And just I think if you just verbalize like I just don't care
anymore. So therefore, like my opinion is
kind of out the window, but I got to use it.
Almost sounds like you're not giving it a chance.
Yeah, I agree. That's how it feels like.
I know you watched it. But watching something?
And give it a chance. I feel you just had a different
I. Don't like Stranger Things?
Anymore, Yeah. OK, that's.
(01:29:21):
All that's that's fine, yeah, But don't.
Make excuses otherwise, because that made no sense.
Yeah. What excuses?
Well, it's just that you're you're picking other things out.
And it's just like you might as well.
Just say that you're just not into it at all anymore.
Like I said, was feeling the fatigue, Yeah.
That's not that good. It's only case I'm dying so.
Afterwards is there. Anything else?
Or no, no, that's it. OK, welcome to dairy.
(01:29:42):
This is the top. Well, what am I going to start
with? Oh, I.
Forgot the ditty documentary. Well, it's my.
Turn now. Yeah, it's your turn.
My well, we it's my turn now. 1st.
Thing I'm going to. Start with will start with
anime. Finally watch the summer Hikaru
died. Yay.
That's right, I forgot about that.
(01:30:02):
Yay. I also finished that.
OK, what were your thoughts guys?
Ass. It was not good ass.
Like I. That's I.
I. Finished it earlier.
Before y'all, before y'all came here.
And final episode played. I looked at the ceiling and
thought to myself. I'm never listening to Kimberly.
(01:30:23):
Again, that was the and. I don't say this about me.
I'm not Danny. I don't say something's a waste
of my time. That wasted my time.
I didn't say it was great, I just said it was no.
No, no. No, no.
You were. You were no.
Glazing. You were glazing.
I just thought it was different.I don't know personally.
(01:30:43):
Learn from. Me.
Learn from me. Don't challenge Corey on what we
said. I didn't think it was.
Glazy because I thought it was. I thought it was fun, you know,
it was OK fun. You guys should definitely watch
it. Not fun.
I thought it was cool like. I.
Am not a horror person. So to watch a horror, especially
a horror BL, I know it's spooky. That's why I was like, it was OK
(01:31:04):
for me to watch. And that's why I said it's OK
for you to watch because it's not that scary.
I I was bored the whole time. Like the mystery of like what
Hikaru really was was just dragged out.
Way too much like what took it till like episode The truth the
truth episode. Episode what, 87891 of them?
Episodes where they finally start looking into the lore and
(01:31:24):
history and connecting the different villages.
And the water makes a human body.
And I was just like, OK, where are we going?
Oh, well, there's a man, there'sa Demon Hunter.
There's a ghost hunter. OK, what is he going to do?
Nothing. OK, cool.
All right. He's not going to do anything.
Oh, I'm going to sacrifice myself.
Sorry Yoshiki, You need to go all without me.
No, stay. I'm like OK.
(01:31:45):
So how many times did they have that conversation?
I was. I I thought I was going insane.
'Cause I was just like what the am am I being talked to?
Is am I just watching a toxic? Relationship just play out and
watching yes yeah don't say yes like they cook.
They don't cook. I was waiting for this is it?
It's a toxic relationship. The whole time, yeah.
(01:32:07):
They isn't even a toxic relationship if one of them is
literally. Like a, a, a.
Newborn minds like a. But he's not.
It's a. It's a it's a monster where no.
Memory. It almost feels like grooming.
But it has a whole life of its own that it's.
Lived already. It doesn't.
Have it. It doesn't remember it, but he
remembers bits and. Pieces like later on it.
Remembers Hikaru's. Life, not its life.
(01:32:30):
Well, he was like I. Remember being on the mountain
and granting this and I remember.
Like hunting, like he remembers parts of it, but it's not like a
lot. He wasn't really remembering how
it went. They were learning more.
About himself they were. Telling him about himself, he
only knows being he caught. He's like I don't know shit
about me. He even said he's like, I feel
so stupid because I don't know. A lot.
(01:32:50):
I don't know how to pet a. Cat, I don't know, like, Oh
yeah, he doesn't know human stuff.
But like, I don't know. I just thought it was.
Interesting because it literallyjust feels like a crazy toxic
relationship between like a monster that's not supposed to
be here, that's supposed to be exercised essentially and just
his hand inside he car root it's.
The allegory allegory this. Allegory that I know.
(01:33:13):
I know in your head which head Iknow metaphors I.
Understand literature, I understand.
How all these writing? Techniques.
This shit was ass like this. This was the most garbage waste
of my time. I thought it was going to.
Be. I I thought it was just a one
season anime, but I it seems like it's just is there a second
season? It's going to be it's coming out
like I don't. Want to watch?
(01:33:34):
I can't. I I don't blame.
You I don't care about. Yoshiki, you can't.
Make me you can't make. Me.
Sympathize or relate to anythinggoing on.
There. He's admitted that he's a
monster. I get it.
Honestly. He's like, oh man, I watched him
kill all these people, right? He's throwing up.
He hurt this girl's ear. The one girl all season was like
that *** is weird. That *** is.
(01:33:57):
I don't trust him. Yo, Danny, you ain't he got
right? I gotta kill this bitch.
Oh, my God. You tried to kill her.
I'm still hang out with you. You know what a human life is?
I don't even know. It was just like I understood
what they were trying to do. I get it.
Like and and I, I. I saw in regards to like you
like me, right? Never said that before.
(01:34:19):
Like. I'm not going to say it like.
It's a spooky BL and it's you keep on telling me that.
And that doesn't change. What how acid is, because I'm
pretty sure there's better spooky B LS.
I don't know. There probably is.
I don't know any but like I don't know any.
I'm just saying like I I this can't be.
The best representation of this of this theme or this medium,
(01:34:44):
it's I would I would probably that I've seen recently 5 at a
time. I think it's average.
It's OK. Like it's OK.
And I was more frustrated 'causeI looked on.
IMDb at the reviews. And I looked at the Ron tomatoes
and I'm like, what? What did it?
Say, am I missing? Something.
What is it like? Is it 80?
9 on Ryan. Tomatoes.
(01:35:04):
For. Viewer watching and then like it
only has 6 reviews so like it don't count for the critic
reviews. Only 6 critic reviews but then
IMDb has it like a like a it's like a 80 something see him like
I feel like you guys also aren'ttaking into the part like.
Because the whole monster aspectand everything, it's like all.
These people. In this small ass town, like
(01:35:27):
they really are seeing Yoshiki like he's an outsider and it's
like OK, it's kind of showing. Like OK, he's a gay guy dealing
with this. Doesn't know how to express it.
So it's like that's kind of likewhat the monster aspect is.
And like I get it. It's not like super exciting and
they didn't go too many places with like the plot and it did.
(01:35:47):
And trust. I was disappointed by the
ending. I was expecting more from it,
but that's what I'm hoping. Season 2 is going to be watching
on a bench with his phone recording and playing in the
water. Yeah, I don't know what that guy
was doing like it's it's. It's not so much.
Like not because like. There's plenty of stories that
that have that fish out of waterin a place like you can reskin
(01:36:09):
that as a black person in a white community being for like
it can be reskinned in differentways, but like the execution of
it all and the hot the dialogue and I felt like I was every
three episodes felt like I was watching the first 3 episodes
again. I I felt like I was just in a
vicious cycle where I'm like, amI did I just start the anime
over? Like I, I at no point in time
(01:36:32):
that I really found anything intriguing.
Like even when they start just the Lord dumping on everything
that happened in the village in the history.
It was just like, so boringly told.
At that point. I felt like I was watching like
a episode of Inuyasha, I thought.
I was watching a YouTube video. I thought I was watching a
YouTube. Video of somebody doing myth
hunters or some shit like that. I was just like, this is this is
(01:36:53):
just not the guy who was like the Demon Hunter kind of guy.
Like I thought he was going to be like a.
Really interesting character andhe did he really amount to much.
I was expecting him to do more. I will say the the best scene
the. Best scene was probably when
the. His dog, right, found Hikaru in
that diner when him and Yoshiki were in that diner.
His hamster, His hamster, the hamster.
It was like the dog, the bell thing.
(01:37:15):
Yeah, the bell. Shadow.
Monster thing. That was the hamster, remember?
Oh, that was just a ghost, Yeah.A ghost, he.
Like his hunting? Dog.
That's his hunting dog. Well, he used the bell to try to
go find it. That's a hamster in the in the
box. No, remember when he he had the.
When they were in the diner and he heard that there was.
That shadowy figure that found? Hikaru and all them.
(01:37:36):
And Hikaru was like, oh, my God,I I can't, I can't eat it.
It's too strong. Oh, you should be like, grabbed
him. That was the best scene for me.
I didn't know that had anything to do with him.
Yeah, because you. Did you watch it in English or I
watched it in English? I.
Think I watched it in. I think I watched it in.
Japanese. So I was giving the show.
My my undivided attention. Yeah, I was watching in.
Japanese I It has so many. It's a.
(01:37:57):
Show that has a lot of. Good ideas, right?
It has a lot of good ideas, it just didn't execute.
Them it just didn't execute themand it was.
Just no, it didn't do the best. I thought it was OK, I was
there. For the toxic relationship so
but even then it was just kind of like will they won't they?
I've seen better toxic relationship.
(01:38:18):
That's the thing like that's valid.
It's. But it I don't know it's
different in ABL. Context so you don't really see.
Too many. Things come out.
It wasn't. That was not even a boy, though.
What one of them is not even a boy?
He's a monster. He's that's that's that's just a
sure if you. Want to look on screen and you
are seeing guests too? Male facing male presenting
(01:38:39):
beings. But like bro is really just a
monster. He's just a BLOB.
So it's like it it's not even really going there because it's
not even letting you explore thereal Hikaru and it's just a
monster because even when you gointo the back story with Hikaru,
they even tell you like yeah, hegrew was like trying to get mad
bitches, like he thought he was going to get a every girl wanted
(01:39:00):
him and then they always end up with a new man and he was over
here. So it was like you didn't even
get to. It was like A1 sided, like love,
and they could have made that more tragic, right.
And there was just everything felt so just havesy, havesy.
So it's like it's not. I I.
Don't. It's.
I'm trying to word this properly.
(01:39:22):
I understand what you're saying with the BL thing, so you don't.
Have to continue to. Repeat that point, but the part
it, it just was badly done and that's valid.
That's it is what it is. I just wanted to hear.
I wanted to see. What you guys's opinion on?
It yeah, I hate this for me because I don't like hating
things I really don't because. Like I'm like I feel like him.
I know I hate what it brought out of me because when I got
(01:39:43):
done watch I was like, fuck, I'mgonna sound like this *** I'm
gonna sound like a head. Today.
He's wearing glasses. And I wore my glasses so.
Funny this. Man with glasses.
I am the man with glasses. Today I don't.
Recommend anybody watch it. Please don't.
I agree. There's just so many other
better better. I agree though.
Shows to watch out there. I think it's a six out of 10.
(01:40:05):
That's that's it's a 3. The three to me OK Other thing I
watched is the Diddy dock. Good Diddy Diddy do it.
Actually called Diddy do it. Called Shawn.
That's a good, that's a good name.
It's a good name. Though right?
Diddy do it, Diddy do it. Diddy, Diddy, Diddy, Diddy.
The Reckoning, The Reckoning, $0.50.
Is so petty. I love it.
(01:40:26):
I love this for him. $0.50 is Did you see the the drama
between? $0.50 and Marlon Waynes.
No, he kind of like Marlon. Gives him like shit for like
making the dock. Or whatever.
Yeah, he he kind of like called out like $0.50 been flaming
Diddy. For so long.
And so Marlon Wayne's posted something, there was like
pictures of like $0.50 showing with P Diddy back in the day.
And he's like, yo, don't call the pot the kettle black or
(01:40:48):
something along those lines. Like you, you were like, they
were like in a hot tub. You were there, right?
And so $0.50. Like.
You come back, you come after 50Cent, like he's gonna come after
you, right? You know, like this whole video
of, like, Marlon Loa Loa. Yeah, exactly.
So like it's like a. Marlon and it was like a Cliff
of. Marlon Wayne's at like a podcast
saying, yeah, you know, I heard about those parties, but like, I
(01:41:08):
never really like frequented them.
You know, like I maybe I've beento like a couple, but like, it
wasn't really my vibe, right? And so $0.50 then posted like a
tweet from Marlon Wayne's back in 2009 saying ain't no party
like a ditty party. Man, you the best.
Thank you so much, man Much love.
I'll see you at the next one. Yo.
So then Marlon Wayne had to comeout so.
(01:41:28):
People were flaming him because then at the.
End. I guess there was like a movie
where Marlon Waynes was like butt.
Booty naked on. Like a bathroom floor with this
like tooted up and everything. SO50 put that in afterwards,
kind of like insinuating like yeah, you know, did he Diddy,
you know, took that ass get. Involved.
So then Marlon Wayne's had to post a response video and he's
like, you guys aren't seeing thenarrative that people are trying
(01:41:52):
to make. You need to go see my clip in
full context and get the whole story.
You don't let the narrative takeyou.
Oh, no, blah, blah, blah. But yeah, the Diddy.
Documentary, I said it I. Kind of wrote it.
During your stream when you weredoing Kingdom Hearts.
But I think that for some people, and I do think it's a
lot of people, because this alsohappened when the R Kelly R
(01:42:12):
Kelly documentary memory came out with all that stuff within
the black community. A lot of us, we know more about
the we're we're more in TuneIn regards to the things that have
happened with a lot of our celebrities.
Right? When I found out the how many
white who did not know any of the stuff that R Kelly really
did know, even if they saw the Dave Chappelle skids, they truly
did not know how long, even though we as a community always
(01:42:33):
knew how long. So it was interesting for me to
see how eye opening it was for like how nasty R Kelly really
was. They had no idea that this man
was running amok, amok forever, right?
So what the Diddy documentary I think offers is there's a lot of
people that, you know, don't know the history of things going
from the 90's, the early 2000's,the 20 tens and everything
leading up to now to everything that Diddy has, you know, had
(01:42:56):
power and, and part of and influence over and the different
groups and artists that he's affected and created.
And you know how? Just call a spade a spade and
call it what it is. How?
Involved. The media that we've consumed as
especially millennials, Diddy isin regards to like everything
we've consumed. Like a lot of music that.
We even though I know that you don't know a lot of music, but
(01:43:19):
even still, even still this there's his hands is on a lot of
no pun intended, his hands is ona lot of things that we've
consumed in regards to entertainment, not no baby oil.
So I think what this offers is kind of a lens in regards to
like understand like, OK, so this is kind of the biggie
relationship, OK, This is the Tupac relationship, OK, This is
(01:43:41):
what they did today. This is what happened with Danny
Kane. This is who Cassie is cuz some
people don't know anything aboutCassie at all and where her
story starts. And people don't know who day 26
is and don't even know what making the band is.
And some people might think thatwhatever Dave Chappelle spoke
about it making the band was just jokes as opposed to like
the truth of it all. And seeing the things in more
(01:44:01):
recent years of different artists he's affected and a lot
of the other artists that kind of just ignored it, right.
This is why I like I've truly ODbelieve it not, you know,
putting celebrities and these famous people on on pedestals
because yeah, I don't know what them *** facts.
I don't know. What they we don't know.
I will. Never, you'll never going to see
me come to the defense of any famous person.
(01:44:22):
I I would I would die for you 2 in regards to like your
character and all that stuff like that.
But like, I know ya, I'm not I'mnot about to.
So when you also see like how many people like on the Internet
will fight for daddy's name, I'mlike, is he paying?
You might be paying might be paying one of them jurors.
I was also going to say he was definitely paying some of the.
People to stand outside the courthouse and wear free daddy
(01:44:43):
shirts. It was like $20.00 an hour.
He had a team, bro. He had a team paying some of
these these social media. People like to talk positive,
like don't trust the government, don't trust what they're saying.
Yeah, you pay them. I mean allegedly.
It might have been $50.00 an hour.
I believe it. For being out there, yeah, but.
What did you think of somebody who you know?
I know you said that you knew. A little bit.
(01:45:04):
I knew a little bit, but like you said, there's definitely a
lot that I learned. You know, like a lot of the
bands that you had just mentioned, I, I had, I had no
idea. I had no clue.
Right. So it was good to see like all
the projects. He really was a part of it, like
in New York and the beef with the West Side when it came with
Tupac and Biggie and everything that happened there.
(01:45:26):
I had watched like videos about it in the past, but I think that
this really went more in depth with it for sure.
I definitely want to watch it because I I feel like I'm in the
middle, Yeah. Yeah, it's, it's, it's
definitely, it's definitely a. A good watch, you know, before
it gets taken down. Yeah, before it gets taken down
for sure. Because you know how.
You know how 50. Got the the tape right.
(01:45:46):
Because Daddy's a scumbag, sincehe doesn't like paying people,
right? During like his whole just trial
stuff going on, he had a team ofpeople that he was like, oh, I
want you to like record, come around and record everything
that I'm doing and whatever, right?
Just some people do that, right?Yeah, basically be doing that.
It's like that, right? And then you never paid them.
(01:46:10):
So 50 came in and was like, wellDaddy.
Doesn't own this and we're not getting paid.
And he's in jail. So you can buy it and that's how
they got all this footage. And the shit that Diddy is
saying on camera is crazy. That's how you know, like he's a
person that. Thinks of himself as
untouchable. I mean, you gotta I'm not saying
(01:46:30):
it's OK, but when you. When you kind of see how many
years he was able to get away with it for so many years, the
the narcissism is on a different.
Level. Like I could see, unfortunately,
I could see This is why they call me a Griff supporter.
I could see how you get to that level of narcissism of thinking
you're untouchable because what do you mean nobody really
(01:46:53):
checked you at all first this long?
Yeah. Seeing like when he was a.
Intern for that one guy. For up top records miles or
Austin Oh shit, I forget his good.
Yeah, you could just seeing like.
How he started off as like an. Intern at this record company it
was up and coming I think in Harlem and how he.
Like. Made himself like an
(01:47:14):
indispensable person and like the people who were in his life
at the time, like tell. You like, It's really like at.
This moment where Biggie really started to become the person
that you know today versus the person that I had grown up with
or grown up in the industry with.
But yeah, the Diddy doc totally watch it before he gets.
Taken down because who knows theIT definitely will.
(01:47:36):
They're trying. His people want to try to get
that out. Of here.
Yep, I. Finally watched Tropic Thunder
for the first time. Oh wow.
Oh good. What did you think?
So what? Do you mean you?
People, what did you think? Let me rephrase it.
What did you think of Robert? Downey Junior's.
Performance in Tropic. Thunder.
I thought it was absolutely hilarious.
(01:47:56):
It was so funny. It's.
There was in. No.
World where Juani cannot, you cannot get that off again,
right? Yeah, that is can't do that.
That is a product of what, 2000?8. 2000. 7 something like that.
I watched it for my birthday when I was.
In high school, I think. I for some reason I just never
(01:48:17):
had the drive to watch it, but that's because.
That's understandable. How many?
It's one of those two movies. 2008, eighth.
Grade for me. Quintessential.
Look at you, I'm like a. A year.
Dictionary. I don't know.
That's the. Word.
I want to use a calendar. I don't know what an interesting
cast of people in this. Movie, Yeah.
These *** just was like, let's get everybody for this.
(01:48:40):
Yeah. Jack Black.
I don't know why Brandon T Jackson is in this like booty
sweat. From what I know about him as an
actor and a comedian, whatever he did, I'm like, man, this this
was like a petty hire or something.
Maybe he just had a really cool friend.
This is just a random person with a in a movie full of bigger
names. But then again, at the time,
(01:49:01):
Robert Downey Junior wasn't Robert Downey Junior.
Yeah, he wasn't that big. Yeah, right.
Iron Man just came out that. Year, Yeah, right.
So like. He wasn't big, big.
Yeah. Iron Man came out 08 I think
it's. 80 years. Oh, the.
First time 6 you out? No, no, no, I think.
They both came out on. The same year 08080. 9:00 That's
when the MCU. Started 08 yeah, yeah, yeah, I
think this might. Have came 08 yeah yeah, yeah a
(01:49:22):
few year you know why you even question.
Me, brother I. Just said I'm like, you're
right, yeah. So like Robert Downey Junior
wasn't. Robert Downey Junior, but like
him. Being a guy playing a guy,
playing another guy disguised asanother guy, guy's another guy.
That was hilarious. Ben Stiller, He was just Nope,
(01:49:43):
can't say that, can't say that, can't say.
But when they did say it, when he did say Shalon, I will see
him like 2. And then the fact that it became
a plot line later on. Like in the movie when they
kidnapped him and they made him and they made him reenact simple
Jack, simple Jack, simple Jack. And then the little kid was like
(01:50:06):
a Kung Fu master. This *** was he wanted all the
smoke whooping. Ass Jack Black, he was there, he
was fine. Yeah, and the little tidbits of
random cast like Tobey Maguire showing up.
Oh oh, first of all, I thought Iput on the wrong movie.
I put on the movie and I was. Like come back again?
To save the world again from theend of the.
(01:50:28):
World again like in Scorcher 4 Iwas like.
What all these trails when toy? McGuire showed up, I said.
Not Iron Man and spider man. I was like, they don't even know
they cooked gay monks. It was, it was like a bit in
love. That's the BL.
Story I want that's hilarious see that's that's BL Dun that's
horror BL Dun right you know what I mean?
(01:50:51):
What's Tom Cruise as the Tom manager?
Tom Cruise, Bill Hader and that like.
Matthew. McConaughey as Ben Stiller.
'S assistant did you get? The TiVo, did you get it though?
That's part of what I'm drawing about the TiVo don't hold Go
really tracked. And then like stopped a rocket
(01:51:11):
launcher, a a grenade launcher from him, the helicopter with a
TiVo with a TiVo antenna. He just threw the TiVo antenna
up and it blocked it, blocked the rock, the rocket launcher.
I was like. This movie.
It was fun. It was Madigan.
It was just like a random, random night watch for me.
And I was just like, I'm glad I,I enjoy doing this, like random,
like watching old movies. Yeah, 'cause like, I really have
(01:51:34):
never been a movie person growing up.
So I'm like trying to like, go back and watch a lot of these
like things that I just skipped, like while I was in high school,
like I was in the streets, you know what I mean?
I wasn't out here watching. Those stupid.
Ass funky Movies Now and the last thing I got is wicked for
good. Oh my God, I need to watch.
(01:51:55):
What did you think? I have interesting thoughts.
About it so. Given that I've seen the the
show on Broadway, I already knewwhat was going to happen.
The story, plot line, I I knew how I was going to play out and.
I was excited. To see how that would play out,
because I thought it was, it felt epic when I watched it on
(01:52:16):
on Broadway. And I'm not saying it didn't
feel epic here, but I don't think the movie took advantage
of the fact that it was a movie.I hear that a lot in regards to
the story. I.
The colors, right, it felt. Like SparkNotes of A.
Story like. Really, things were just jumping
(01:52:37):
from a scene to a scene and not taking his time to like, connect
those scenes. Like it.
Dare I say it should have been longer so that there would be
more padding to make the momentsmake sense.
Coincide. Was it already 3 hours?
I don't recall. I watched it and I.
(01:52:58):
Didn't feel like it was 3 hours but like.
I said like I. I might be, I might be wrong in
how I feel about that in regardsto it being longer, but there
was there was just things just happening.
I felt like I was. Watching solo evelling.
Like it was just moments just happening.
And I was like, man, can I get aoh, yeah.
So it could have been longer. Yeah.
So that should it could have been. 240 Yeah, if anything,
(01:53:20):
right if there was. 30 minutes more, maybe 20 minutes more to
like just make the trenches moresmooth.
Like it felt too closely adaptive of the Broadway play,
which is like disappointing because wicked, you know, the
like the the first one added more and fleshed out the, the,
(01:53:41):
the first act a little bit more, making it feel more fluid and
making it feel like an, a, a movie in totality.
Whereas this felt like, oh, y'all are really just slapping
that shit. Y'all just like y'all just did
one for one and. Didn't try to make this.
More cohesive and more coherent, which left me more little
(01:54:01):
disappointed because I'm just like, there's so much more the
story could have done. We're kind of telling like a
parallel story of something so classic, interesting like Wizard
of Oz, where like it's either make the movie longer or you
should have made it a trilogy. OK, that's interesting.
So many people I talked to said that they like this one.
Better and that it was more likepassionate because there's more
(01:54:24):
I guess deeper things that happened.
This is just what I've heard. I haven't watched it but I I've
seen reviews and other people. Talk about it and mostly I, I
haven't heard anybody say that. Well, that's, that's just from
like I think I asked two or three people that.
Watched it, that were big wickedfans and they said they like
this more. So I don't know if it's just a
preference because they like Wicked in general or what I
(01:54:46):
think there there might be high bias for.
Like the big Wicked fans, Because if you just, I think if
you just give a big Wicked fan exactly what they came here for,
that they have no reason to kindof walk away disappointed.
OK, I'm not going to call myselfa big Wicked the Play fan.
I'm a big fan of that first movie.
Like I really do think that's a fantastic.
(01:55:06):
I do think that's just a fantastic movie.
I think it's better than most. Of the Marvel movies.
That's come out in a long time in regards to it's CGI and it's
it's visuals and the acting and you know, even though you feel
how you may feel about the musicand things like that, but at
least they really delivered and,you know, singing that and and
presenting that music. Whereas for this one, I was just
(01:55:27):
like, this could have been deeper.
This could have been this just could have been there could have
been more here. It could have been more you
could have you could have been more here.
There were just things that happened to certain.
Because I'm also trying to not spoil it.
Yeah, yeah. So it's like I'm really watching
how I word things, but. Question.
How one of the big critiques? I've seen is that just the
coloring was not bright at all. It was very muted and like they
(01:55:51):
said the rainbow didn't feel like a rainbow.
Like what are your thoughts on that?
Like the cinematography aspect Iguess.
I still think it visually lookedfantastic.
The second act is. Supposed to be completely darker
than the first act, so like if people felt like it should have
been brighter or more. Colorful.
I think you. Missed the fucking point.
The second act is completely darker and more serious and more
(01:56:13):
action heavy than the first act.The first, the first act, the
first movie is funsies for the most part like anybody.
I, I wouldn't, I wouldn't blame anybody for feeling like the
first act was born 'cause that'show I felt when I saw the play.
Like I was when I watched that first act, I was like OK this is
fine. And by the time I got the second
act I was like oh this shit is moving right?
And it did the same thing in themovie.
(01:56:34):
But like for? A movie I was like, you should
have like that, that could have that could have went more
smoothly like that, that felt that everything, if I didn't
know the lore already, everything feels out of nowhere
OK, But it was easier for me to fill in gaps because I already
know what was going to happen. That was my first time
experiencing it. I could see walking away and
(01:56:57):
being like so how did? This why did that happen?
Again, how did this happen again, Like you'd have a lot
more questions, I guess if you care to have questions, if you
just don't care watching it then.
So I'll definitely come back, make my review and then talk
with you. About it, because I want to
know, I want, I want to be able to talk with you about that.
Yeah. So I think the first one is
better than the second. One, I have to just call it what
(01:57:17):
it is. It's kind of hard to say that
about a play because you can talk about acts.
Yeah, but probably get this A7. Wow.
I give the wicked, like the first wicked a nine.
Yeah, I'll probably give this A7.
So, yeah. But other than that, that's
that's it on my, on my. All right, well, look at that.
We may answer that part of the episode.
Look at that. Where we're going to bring to
(01:57:37):
you Beyblade action, let it ripple.
So there's going to be some slight.
Transitions and we're going to probably do.
How should we do it? Should we just all play one
round against each other? Let's let's do like a each one
of us get A1V1 against each other and do like in all three.
Yeah, at one time. And then I guess I got to bring
the the stadium and the table out and it's going to be some
(01:57:59):
camera transitions. And we're not going to sit back
down. We're just going to like kind of
have the mics and we're going tokind of Dick around and have a
little beyblade a little function right now to close out
the episode and have a little top down camera, right.
You know what I mean? So you know, if you guys enjoyed
this part of the episode where we had because we did the old
fashioned yap, Yeah, for old fashioned yap, 2 hours straight.
Yeah. So about that.
(01:58:21):
So let's get to the length of the ripple.
Okay, so we are here for our first Moon Piece Bay Blade
tournament to see who is the best Blade later this group for
Christmas. Yeah, no, no Christmas stories.
(01:58:42):
But we're here to act. Childish for you.
Guys here now, sorry if Dane's alittle too tall for the camera.
It is what it is. Kimmy never got to pay Blade.
Blade in her. Life.
So Timer. Yeah.
But Danny, how you feeling aboutthis man?
Super nostalgic. Holding this it.
Just makes me think about all. The other babies I had
especially. Like assembling these is not
(01:59:03):
like assembling what we used to have back in the day.
It's showing more moving pieces,really.
Oh my God, yeah. I used to get like intricate
with. It yeah, they used to be.
Layers to it. They used kinetic rings.
Cores. The core, the the weighted base.
Oh. God, there were.
There was a spring. There was one that springs on
it. Autism played a part.
That's why I really learned. Yeah, I remember 1.
(01:59:24):
Of them had like magnet balls. In it so the the the.
I know, guys, we're not Beybladeexperts.
We're just here for the love of the game.
So if any Beyblade watchers out there telling us that we're
doing everything wrong, listen, I just got a basic stadium from
Amazon. Yes.
To a tournament, Yeah. It's a Beyblade X Stadium, Like
yeah. Let.
Us know, you know what I mean? But what's the name of your
(01:59:45):
beyblade? Today we got classic anybody
Who, Who, who, who was? There, you know, you know, I got
Dronzer for those of you old school classic from the OG The
Rival. Kai Kimmy.
Never. Doesn't know anything about.
Beyblade. But what's the name of your
beyblade today? I believe it's mammoth Tusk Tusk
(02:00:06):
Mammoth You're. So low.
Old and either way, she have Eddie.
She look real cute. Disqualified for bringing an
illegal beyblade. Into the tournament.
You ready you ready to get it going?
You're. Expecting to see.
It happen, I don't know, this ismy first time.
I'm excited to just. Get in there and let it RIP and
(02:00:28):
see. This is my first experience, but
you know, it might be the first time.
But I'll be scrappy is there? How do you scrap the ice?
Scrappy do. Okay, a couple.
Of test runs but. Now it's legit where I see.
Which one of us is the best one to do 2 out of 3 Kimmy and I are
the first round. Yes, that side of three we're
going to do a first round is going to.
Be Kimmy and Danny. After that it will be me against
(02:00:51):
the winner and then I will then play against who lost there and
then after that we're going to do all three of us at one time.
So for now I am the ref. So later let's do it.
Yes, we got this all. Right, so we're.
Going to have a top down camera for.
You guys going to have some different angles.
Going also excuse us for how maybe unprofessional some of you
(02:01:13):
guys may think this looks so I'mgoing to count you guys down OK,
right. Remember the countdown 321 let
it RIP. Make sure you aim for the
stadium and not my TV, OK, All right laters, Are you ready?
Yes. 3. 21. Saddle.
(02:01:39):
Round. And.
Just like that. Ring out for Danny's drumser.
Wow. And she's still going.
She's still spinning. She's styling on you.
It's her. 1st. 1. It's her first one.
You know how to let it, how to let it happen.
It is what it is. It's alright.
That wasn't good for you, brother.
Is a real thing. Don't.
Let anyone tell you otherwise. All right, bladders.
(02:02:00):
Collect your blade right now. We have Kimmy, I believe in you,
my bit beast. So right.
Now we have Kimmy's Tusk Mammothup 1 and Danny nil.
Will Danny get blown out right now or will he make a comeback?
We'll find out. We have to see here at the Moon
(02:02:21):
Peace Tournament. All right, bladders, Are you
ready? Yes, 3. 2. 1.
I'm actually so nervous. Listen, they don't stick.
To how they used they used to stick to the.
Launcher easier back in the. Day and this one is flimsy.
(02:02:42):
OK, I'm ready 3. 21. I started late, I started late.
You want to run it back. No, I don't think.
So that's a fair 1. You didn't.
Even say let it RIP you. Did too early.
I did too early. He went Heathrow to 1 and say
I'm in the. End.
Running back one more time, you embarrass yourself.
(02:03:03):
Running back, you embarrass yourself.
You wouldn't ring out so fast. Yeah, you say, let.
It RIP to tell you he got too. Excited.
He was getting nervous. He's getting too excited.
Notice. Since he's scared to lose.
So fast. He's so competitive, yeah.
All right. Platers, are you?
Later. Are you ready?
(02:03:24):
321. Oh, looks like Kimmy.
(02:03:48):
Lost. OK.
So whichever one stops as well, OK.
Yeah, well, I thought it was just like whichever goes out of
the ring stop first. Last.
Blade standing last blade so you.
Did. Lose first.
You lost your spine OK, OK, you barely got there.
It was very. It was very neck and neck right
there. Very neck and neck, OK.
(02:04:08):
So now we have. The tie breaker, You really put
your soul into that one. We did.
We did. Really.
I saw. You guys really saw I was?
Locked. In, he was starting to.
Believe he's like. I need to lock I.
I need to power up I. Got to lock in.
I need to power up. We're going to make.
This comeback though all. Right.
(02:04:28):
Final round. 321 Let it. And just like that, Ronald.
Danielle is the loser, OK? So now it is.
(02:04:51):
Listen, man. I'm OK with Kimmy winning at.
All. Beginners, luck beginners, you
know what I mean? So now we're going.
I just want you to win. Crazy that.
Hate that hate. At least he's straight.
Up with it. Well, I'm.
Going to get to play you after Iplayed.
Kimmy So now we're. Going to swap out, who do you
have in store for us today? So for me, I have a classic.
(02:05:13):
The Lion Tiger. Himself Drigger.
Not to be confused with a *** but yeah, my boy Ray.
The the boy with the he had. Like Whiskers in in the anime
and stuff like that. He's definitely yeah.
His whole crew was like cat people.
But yeah, I used to love Driggeras a kid.
I had definitely all of the Beyblakers, like Beyblades back
(02:05:35):
in the day, just steal. Actually, you see my favorite,
the green one, it was like more of a defense type blade.
So like it's. Really hard to beat.
But yeah, we're rolling with Drigger today.
All right, bladders, take your positions 5. 4. 3. 21 OK, come
(02:05:57):
on, trigger. Come on, trigger.
Oh my. Days you know what's?
Crazy the fact that she. Got a starter?
Deck baby that came with the stadium.
(02:06:17):
These are packs, these old Beyblades, these old.
Listen, these vintage Beyblades are not.
Cutting. They're not vintage.
They're not vintage. Well, these, well, you know what
I mean, The old school. Ones they.
Were the old school? Ones for good.
Oh yeah, those things were brolic.
OK. Round 2.
I mean this might be my last 3. 21.
(02:06:41):
Sorry. Oh my God.
OK. OK, I'm ready.
No, I'm not. Are you sure about?
That. Are you sure about that?
A rowdy child, it's. Getting.
Charizard. Not listening.
To action. We in here OK 3.
(02:07:03):
So you ready? 3. 2. 1 bring out easy, easy,
breezy, beautiful cover girl. No, she just went run.
Out she just. Really ran.
Out I think. That's a replay.
That's. What you.
Got no. She.
(02:07:23):
Should have aimed better, it's fine.
She aimed straight out. I'll take that.
Out. That's fine.
Oh my God, if it was. Smash Brothers, we just say she
fell off the. Stage that's not bad.
That's my bad. All right, you gotta aim 1 you.
Gotta aim. For the middle one.
Tiebreaker Who will come out victorious in today's?
Match get your WS how you can and give me cool ready bladders
(02:07:47):
321 let it RIP hello. Fine, I'll.
Let you get a do over. No, it's fine.
It's fine, I lost. Bear and square I will.
Take that out. An honorable warrior does not
win off a line. I'm not going to let.
Both my debuts be a ring out. It doesn't feel good.
(02:08:08):
I didn't get to fight. We did not fight.
I think it's a fight I didn't touch.
No, it is. It's because you're literally
like kind. Of.
Aiming. This way instead of aiming here
OK, shoot it here kind of but I have it over yeah but like the
way your. Momentum is your momentum.
Should be forward and you're kind of.
(02:08:28):
Moving it. Diagonal.
So that's where it's going to go.
OK like look at where my look how my string is facing.
You have. Your string facing towards the
camera. My string is facing towards you.
Oh, so it's supposed to be this way?
I don't think the string. Is she's doing good the 1st. 3
rounds so she puts my ass all. Right, I'm just saying all.
(02:08:49):
Right, OK, just. Just hold hold your base.
Steady, OK, right. And then just don't let it move
because when you remember when Itold you like this has to stay
strong because when you RIP it, then this hand flies loose.
OK, Hold this hand steady, OK? I wish this shit would stay on
properly. Nervous.
Three nervous. Wow, he's trying to.
(02:09:12):
Psychological Warfare. Me OK 3. 21 Let it RIP.
Here we go, he's in the. Game.
Trigger circling. Dodging, dodging, they're going
in. Ohh my games, let's go.
(02:09:46):
Baby my. Alright, I guess I'll.
Play Danny. Next losers racket.
Losers. Losers.
Racket. Well, Kimmy came out on top.
She beat both of us. That's crazy.
But now these are the Ogs going up.
Against yes, that's true starterpack nonsense.
Now Kimmy has to be the ref. Yes, yes, yes, Now she.
(02:10:09):
Gets the host like she always wants to.
She's. She's sweating.
She'll be like fuck, look at this.
This whole thing moved. You see why you?
Need the. Protective thing if this.
Wasn't on this. And we go flying.
Oh, absolutely. All right, Kimmy.
OK, How we? How we 2 feel it you.
Guys are you know? The originals.
The I'm feeling good because these are they came out of the
(02:10:30):
same kind of pack. Yours is a little bit different,
so I think it's weighted differently.
It's weighted differently. OK, now we make hers came with
the. Stadium so it seems like it was
meant these things these. Came from.
Side sets because that camera's kind of yes.
Yeah. There we go, switch.
All right, we. Switch sides, we're back.
(02:10:52):
All right. Bladders, take your stance.
Are we both ready all? Right, three. 21.
(02:11:12):
And Daddy is the winner. That.
Opening. Match.
That was crazy, I think. It was that jump.
Over. I think that.
Was the fastest we've seen. 2. Go at each other so.
All right, that was a good start, if not to ring out.
OK, OK. All right.
(02:11:34):
Are we prepared? Are we ready about the stands?
Yep, all about the. Stands wide.
Stands. The heart of the cards.
Alright, are. We ready.
I walked in. 3. 21. And Denny's out for the cows,
OK. Alright, so we are at.
(02:11:55):
Big. Guy.
Big guy we. Are at. 1.
To one now they play big guy pants.
OK. This guy's got to ring out.
Oh. He's.
Talking a big wow, I knocked you.
Out First of all, I. Knocked you out?
Listen, it's all about techniqueand aim.
He didn't knock you out. It's not my fault you got no
aim. I'll show.
You who? I aim.
That's crazy. Oh my God.
(02:12:18):
Oh, right. Last.
Round. My shame.
I'm glad it wasn't the only one.My shame guys, we're.
Telling you. Sorry, it's not a skill issue.
Here. Definitely a skill issue.
Oh my God. All right.
Last round. Are we prepared?
Are we? Ready.
Are we In Sync? Yes, all.
Right. 321. Technique.
(02:12:44):
Technique. Technique we.
Run the tape we. Could run the tape.
Yeah, we could. Run the tape.
We made contact. We made.
Contact. I will say, all right.
Well, seems like Kimmy came. In first here in this.
Situation. Danny has lost both his matches,
(02:13:05):
so he is in the bottom and I'm just mid.
So first, second and third, let's go.
All right, so let's finish. This off for a final merry.
Christmas now we're going to do a best side of three with all
three of us. Last man, last person standing.
Sorry, you're going to be comingfrom a different angle, kid.
Do you want you want to come from?
This angle instead does. That mean?
(02:13:26):
I'm sure you sure? I feel right here.
All right. Find.
No Funsies Match 3 Beyblades 3 Beyblades, 1 Stadium.
All. Right.
(02:14:04):
Should we do like a first to three?
Yeah, let's do it. So first to three wins, so.
I. Have one you guys.
Have 0. 0. Settle.
They want to watch that angle then.
I guess. Maybe you might be the?
Problem keep getting ringed. Out all right.
Everybody 32. 1. Did that.
(02:14:29):
Break who got destroyed? You still not supposed to touch
that. Had nothing to do with, first of
all, me winning. That round?
Oh no. I really no.
You just let my pieces just be. Dead.
I'm dead. That's.
True, you're supposed to and. Then see who stops from there.
I feel like that should be. Real.
You know the rules. So we not isn't.
(02:14:50):
You just let me be dead there. Instead I'm just father now.
Exactly gotta. Jump over my dead body.
Now we gotta figure out how to put this back.
I can't believe my shit. Broke.
That's crazy get together. The first time you have to take.
Out the bottom piece and then put the there.
You go. So did Danny.
Went that round, Yeah. The last.
(02:15:11):
One seen it, right? No, because he grabbed the
pieces. I grabbed 1.
Piece. That's how you're not supposed
to touch anything. Let's.
Run. About I'll let you 2 redo it
because I fell apart. I'll.
Let you guys kind of get yours. OK.
Because yeah, you fell apart. You did.
You fell. Apart, I gotta just.
Call it, yeah. Call it what it.
Is yeah, I like you 2 I like. You 2, I don't.
(02:15:34):
Know you stay on this side. You 2 talk Yeah yeah, yeah,
I'll. Go.
Alright, alright. 321. You shouldn't have.
(02:15:56):
Put your hand in the range. You can't do that.
What? Your fingers.
What came off? You're right.
You're right. It was a real.
Tournament. They didn't like interference,
that's true. That's true.
All right, all right, so I won. 1.
Corey won one one, all right? Damn, it's not looking good for
you, brother. Everyone loves A.
Comeback. Everyone does love the comeback.
(02:16:17):
Loves the underdog, all right. All right, are we?
Ready. Yes. 322.
OK, we're trying that again. All right.
OK. 321. I came apart this time.
Damn. Oh my.
(02:16:41):
God, Danny wins all right. We just got one.
Wow, 3 blazes dangerous, huh? These.
Things over here like. I'm a little afraid, I'm not
going to lie. Yo, thank God we have protective
lenses too. Yeah, she's going to lose her.
Eye OK. So everybody has one.
How does she go back together? OK, I.
(02:17:03):
Can see why people play this competitive.
This is, I don't know if you know a lot of countries like
let's play Latin America and. Hispanic countries, like they
have like wooden tops, I think. Yeah, play all the time.
Yeah. So that's pretty cool.
Beyblade's not that original all.
Right when you travel one first at 3.
(02:17:26):
All right. So I think we don't have any.
Money on this I know. Right.
Maybe. You guys put money on it?
OK, 3. 21. Damn.
I'm out. That was damn.
All right, Daddy won that. One I'm starting to think he
like did something to our piecesright together.
(02:17:48):
Oh my. They.
Keep their own shit together. What you said I got to do press.
This down. Wow.
That's a. Wild take the.
Take the bottom out. These are your three pieces.
OK. Take the middle part.
(02:18:09):
Take the middle. Part line it up and then twist
it left. Line it up that lid you didn't.
Twist it. Now the lid.
Take the bottom pin out. Line it up.
And then twist it. Left.
(02:18:30):
Twist it left. To lock it in, there you go and
then pop it back in. No way simpler.
Than I thought it would be. Always is, always is super.
Easy bailing. Convenience.
Got that shit on that shit all. Now I feel like I'm ready to go
(02:18:54):
do some. Illegal.
Activity. Illegal activity.
Rob, somebody give me. Give.
Me all your money. All right.
Are we ready? All right.
Danny has two, we have one each,OK.
All right. And Danny wins this then that
means? I really.
Was the best, allegedly anyways.3. 21.
(02:19:15):
Let it. Did drop.
Early. We're still.
Going there, Fuck. I slowed down.
I dropped early. I dropped early.
You. Did drop I.
Dropped early? That's not you.
(02:19:38):
Not a man of honor. Run my ones.
You did drop. You dropped early before we gave
you a new. 1. We doing it again.
Run my ones but she lost. Let me get mom let.
Me get mom. 'Cause I dropped.
Early I lost. That's true.
You guys go all right. 32 Well, you're not even.
Yeah, get out of. Here all.
(02:19:59):
Right. Just make it all respect.
Me. Oh, wow.
All right, Ready 3. 21 Let. It OK.
Technique tip. Top going.
Circle, circle. They're both starting.
To slow down, let's get. It Let's see what.
(02:20:20):
We're going to do. Oh.
And Danny wins the triple. He got it.
Yeah. Well, he won no singles.
But he did win. The battle.
Royale he did. He won the battle Royale.
All that matters. Man, how do you guys feel about
(02:20:40):
that? I'm sweating, right?
Now I was nervous. He said this is, this is.
Crazy he lost the one V once next.
Time. We're putting money on that.
I'm telling you that right now. We know.
What we should do? We start going to conventions.
With the Beyblade Stadium. And just wording upon people.
Who's like, hey, yo, let her RIP.
He's cutting that out. Don't take our idea.
Don't. Take our.
Idea Rob if you're. Watching this, don't.
(02:21:02):
Take our idea. This isn't shown.
It might be something. It's.
So. Funny, but I mean.
