(00:00):
Here live on the Moon Peace podcast channel today reviewing
Blue Lock chapter 39318 titled Yearning for Victory.
Now last time we left off with Blue Lock, Nigeria was
struggling to score a goal as there were only 15 minutes left
in the first half of the game against Japan.

(00:21):
Japan is up two and O thanks to a goal scored by both Batura and
Rio. Right, so now we're at at
halftime, right? Where are things going to go?
Is Nigeria going to be able to score a goal?
Are the Blue Lock Japanese team going to sub out any players for

(00:42):
anybody else? I don't know.
I have a feeling that we're going to see either Borrow or
Shido take the field just to getthem some play.
Let's see perfect. It sounds like the audio sounds
great on YouTube. Always have to double check
that. Also guys, sorry that I'm doing

(01:04):
this on a Wednesday whereas normally I would do it on a
Tuesday but scheduling my bad. But yeah, here I am getting it
out middle of the afternoon and Wednesday.
So before we get into the chapter, if this is your first
time here on the Moon Piece podcast channel, consider, you
know, checking out some of our other videos.
We do One Piece content, chapterreviews.

(01:25):
Kimmy's doing a first time watchthrough if you want to check
that out. She also plays Kingdom Hearts
today, actually on Wednesday. She'll be doing that later on
tonight. We also do Kagura Bachi monthly
streams. I obviously do Blue Lock here
and Corey also does Jojo's and we also have regular podcast
episodes that come out bi weeklyon Tuesdays.
So the new episode actually should be coming out next

(01:47):
Tuesday. But if you wanted to check that
out, you know look it up like the stream.
If you can. I know you can and consider
subscribing. But now, without further ado,
let's get into chapter 318 of blue lock titled yearning for
victory. All right, so Gagamaru, last we

(02:09):
saw super saved a goal from Onazi, right?
Blulock. Japan is so strong.
They're overwhelming Nigeria in both offense and defense.
The first half ends at 2 and O as Kagamaru strikes a really
nice ninja pose, right, with twofingers up, like, yeah, yeah,

(02:31):
this man must be feeling himselfright after we saw the training
that he had gone through with the baseballs and, like, having
the gloves and, like, going backand forth trying to catch it.
Reset, catch, reset. Yeah.
All right. And it looks like now we cut to
the locker room. Everyone's there.

(02:53):
You got Raichi non essay corona.Everyone's cheering.
They're like, all right, nice save, Gagamarusan.
So far, so good. Nice game.
Nice game, right and Gaga Maru and the other goalkeeper are
proud of themselves, right? They're dad, they're they're
locking in, which is sweet. You know the other goalkeeper,
I'm sure he's just happy to be here and I know a lot of people,

(03:14):
you know, crap on the guy, but at the end of the day, you do
need a backup goalkeeper just incase anything happened to Gaga
Maru, like you need a backup just you need a backup
quarterback, a backup kicker, whatever.
You a goalkeeper, you only need one extra.
So And now we see Oliver IQ chiming and saying, are you

(03:35):
Nico? You're doing great, but you went
out a bit too far. Be more mindful of the defensive
line in the second-half. See, that's why he's captain.
That's why he's captain of the team.
He's observing his teammates andhe's giving constructive
criticism like, yo, you guys crushing it?
Just try to work on this. You know, he's doing it in a

(03:56):
really good way. He's not bossing him around.
He's not being a jerk, Oliver. Captain material, I called it.
I knew he was going to be captain Nico's like sure, but
I'll go all out with my ball control.
Arya's like likewise. I am ready for one-on-one
battles. These guys, they're not even
tired. They're not even tired.

(04:17):
These guys are in the zone rightnow.
We see Karasu. Well, we already got another
point, Princess and Hyori, you're too stuck on those cross
passes. Try for your own goals.
Chiguri's like shut up, Kara Sue, just watch the second-half
for real. You haven't shot either Kara Sue
says Hiori. All right, well, I guess Kara

(04:39):
Sue also wants to give some constructive criticisms and he's
he's seeing Oliver do it right. I would say if Oliver wasn't the
captain here, I would probably give it to Kara Sue just
because, you know, he's he's a very smart player too.
And he he like analyzes everybody.
I mean, the whole point of his play style is to like, find,
like the weakest player. Yeah.

(05:03):
So he's able to just analyze people's skills and stuff.
His hair looks crazy in that panel, though.
Like, what is going on? It's like super boxy and like,
it looks wicked in the back. I don't know.
And then Carlos was like, I know, you dumb ass.
And we see Anari here, nobody's boasting.

(05:23):
They're all just debating about what comes next.
Yo, about your about your moves. These boys are growing at an
incredible rate. Things are looking good for this
first match. We can wing this on Anri's like
she's feeling it. She's she is hyped.
She's seeing these kids play. No one's like, y'all were the
best. Oh, my God, this is great.

(05:45):
Look at us. We're amazing.
No, no, no, no, no. Everyone's like analyzing,
giving each other constructive criticism like it's good.
That's good. No one's getting a little too
cocky. That's great.
Oh, uh oh, uh oh. Totally messed this up.
Give me one second, guys. All right.

(06:06):
Perfect. Yeah.
All right. My bad.
But of course, here comes Isagi. At this point, at this rate,
there's just no point in winning.
We won't grow just by doing whatwe're good at.
Let's try something new for the second-half.
Yo, bro, shut up. Bro.
What's the first game like? What are you doing?

(06:29):
Bro? Shut up.
See, this is where it's already starting.
It's like you guys are up to andO it's and it's already starting
you. You got Carlos.
So like, huh, well, all right, Bacha was like like what Isagi
saying We practiced it a bit like having nobody in front and
shooting from the second or third rows.

(06:51):
If it works, we'll have more attack variations.
All right, Oliver chimes in. It would definitely be
interesting to try it, but it's too risky too.
I think shutting them out and claiming a solid victory would
be its own experience. Love it and sagi's like all
right let's do both then bro. We'll try something new as we

(07:13):
make sure to get 3 points. Well said egoist.
Nico's even joining the chat. See all those all the smart guys
are here right? So holliver's like well said.
Nico's saying easier said than done as Sagi Kun, but if we're
using experimental attacks, thenwe'll need to alter our defense
accordingly. All right, so let's adjust that

(07:34):
too. I'll suggest it to Ego San and
Carlos, who's over here like you.
You really think we can do it that suddenly?
And look, there's even a car in the background and then
someone's from the backs like I'm in.
You don't even need to tell me who that is.
I know that's written. Yup.

(07:56):
Here we go. He's over here, leg bent over.
I guess he's stretching. I don't know.
Just winning doesn't feel good, so we'll destroy them in a new
way. God, of course, these edgy
bastards and I still haven't scored yet.
Don't think I'll be satisfied byjust rolling over and doing
tricks for you. I'm sorry.

(08:17):
He's over here grinning. He's like, that's my boy, that's
my man right there. He's like rights and even Oliver
wants a piece of that. He's like, yeah, yeah, you ego
as stasis ego comes in himself. That's good.
Protecting our lead with a balanced approach would betray
our philosophy. All of you keep aiming for your
goals and use every last second for your own evolution.

(08:40):
That is Blue Lock. Here's the plan for the
second-half. Oh.
Oh, Nigeria. Oh my God.
This is a depressing locker room.
Everyone's gasped. These people are sweating
bullets, they're gasping for airand they are depressed.
Complete, complete opposite of what's going on in the Blue Lock

(09:02):
locker room, right. So we got the players saying
it's no use. We can't win at this rate, we're
going to lose. What should we do in the
second-half? Tell us your thoughts, coach, as
I guess their coach Gambari, wholooks like a a vampire, right?
I'm watching Interview with the Vampire right now and this guy,
it's giving vampire, you know, can you, can you tell me who the

(09:26):
stand user in the room is? It's this guy.
Block isn't messing around. The talent to control the game's
flow and score goals. That UE Chi Sagi is something
else. You know, this man hasn't done
anything. I mean, he hasn't done
absolutely nothing, but he he's barely had the ball compared to

(09:46):
some of the other players. And yo, the way Asagi just gets
glazed. Listen, I'm happy.
I love Asagi. He's my favorite character.
So wow, it is pouring rain over here in Brooklyn, guys.
All right, so the coach is like our usual methods aren't
effective. Onazi isn't effective.

(10:07):
This hasn't happened before. It's really bad.
And everyone's like, this is theworld's blue lock is so damn
cool as he's just grinning and he's excited.
There are still amazing guys ahead of us here.
Yuichi Sagi is here. Onazi, you.
Hey, coach, you guys. What do you think makes Japan so

(10:29):
strong? Uh, well, uh, they have lots of
attack patterns. All 11 are trying to score
goals. Exactly.
They're all living for their owngoals.
Why? OK, Onazi.
Yo, Coach, what are you doing bro?
Earn your paycheck, earn your check bro, Cuz Onazi's over here

(10:51):
striking motivational speeches, coming up with new thought
patterns. What are you doing bro?
You're like, what did you say again?
I I already forgot. Oh, you're just saying like, oh,
what we're doing isn't effectiveand our star player Onazi isn't
effective. Cool.
Great, great, great, great advice.
Great speech bro. What a loser.

(11:12):
Actually, I take back everythingI said before.
He's definitely not a vampire because a vampire is more
charismatic than that. All right, so now we're actually
coming back to Blue Lock. All right.
Looks like looks like we're getting an ego speech.
Do people yearn to win? Have you thought about that?
Huh. Well, because it feels good.

(11:34):
Oh, why do people yearn to win? I thought the why was still with
the the Nigeria thing. Then why does it feel good?
And Asagi is like, because it's proof that you're superior to
others. Oh my God, Asagi.
Listen, I know I just said he's my favorite character, but like,
yo, this man, he kills me and hegoes like, right.

(11:57):
That's an instinct that's been carved into your genes.
Individuals can only survive by excelling above others.
The stronger the individual has a chance, the stronger
individual has a higher chance of producing offspring, drawing
out that survival instincts. Right as we see one little cat
take food from another. The food is mine.

(12:18):
I'm hungry, I'm strong. And then we have a girl like I'm
into it. Give me your jeans, yo.
Great. Great example.
So, OK, drawing out that survival instinct and creating
the world's strongest individualis what Blulock is aiming for.
And when Ozzy is chiming in, I want to beat Blulock.

(12:40):
So why don't we try fighting like them?
You mean trying to score our owngoals?
But we're not as skilled as you in Ozzy.
Listen, listen. Who cares?
So let's give it a shot, Right, Coach?
If you say so in Ozzy, if you guys just keep passing to me,
we're going to lose anyway. It'll be a challenge to help us

(13:02):
win. And look at the I forget.
I forget the guy's name, right? He's just looks awe inspired,
like coach, if you say so, come earn your check, bro.
What? What are we doing here?
What? You're not doing anything.
Oh my God, what a useless coach. You have nothing else to
contribute. All right, all right.
This isn't about the coach. Sorry, guys.
I'm happy to see that Nazi's over here like he is that guy

(13:25):
for Nigeria, right? And I really hope because of
this they're able to score at least two goals, right?
I don't want them to just go into the second-half having only
scored one goal. I want them to score at least
two goals, right? And like, maybe like playing
like Blue Lock inspires Nigeria for the future to play like

(13:47):
that, right? And maybe it'll inspire other
teams to adopt the Blue Lock mentality, like try to score,
play, work as a team, but score everyone, score for your own
goals. That's what you should aspire to
do, right? And the reason why I want
Nigeria to score at least two goals is because I know, I know
Japan's about to score another two goals, at the very least 2.

(14:11):
They're aiming for three, thoughaside he's like, we're scoring 3
more goals. All right, So if it's that's why
Nigeria has to score at least two times because a A5 and two
looks a hell of a lot better than a five and one.
I'll tell you that right now. Yeah.
Munindra Patel. Yeah.

(14:33):
Please. Can you play Blue Lock Rivals?
What's Blue Lock? Is that a game?
Blue Lock Rivals. I I hadn't even heard about
that. Let me see.
Blue Lock Rivals. Is that a Slovenia?

(14:54):
Is that a Roblox game? Huh, I've never played that
before. Oh, it is a Roblox game.
Interesting. I would have to get the game
first, I guess. I don't even know.
Yeah, I I I'd consider it. I'd consider it all right going

(15:15):
back to ego, however, if all humans were to have were to live
solely by their yearning to win and prove their superiority, it
would create endless strife, discrimination, and war.
That's where we're at right now,buddy.
I don't know what you're talkingabout ego.
We're there right now. So to avoid that, humans create

(15:36):
social systems and social systems of rules and laws and
have evolved to treat all beingsas fairly as possible.
But to put it another way, a tepid world in which people live
without yearning for victory is what people call peace.
Oh OK. And Asagi is like Oh my God this

(15:57):
man spitting facts. Holy crap, Asagi looks mind
blown right now. That's why I keep appealing to
your instinctual yearning for victory so the true ego within
each of you won't be snuffed outby this tepid world.
And that includes me. Blue Lock is an experimental

(16:18):
device for lifting its subjects out of their peaceful stupor and
drawing their instincts and yearnings as Nigeria.
As we see Nigeria walk out of the locker room like let's go
Nigeria and everyone's looking alittle pumped right and draw
their instincts and yearnings out into the light now yearn for

(16:40):
victory my lumps of talent and I'll grant you a new formula as
we see Blulock take the fields. Do you know why soccer has this
much power to entrance humanity and kick off as a saggy starts
off the second-half? All right, Honestly, I'm I'm

(17:03):
very happy that this chapter wasas long as it was like, how many
pages did we get this chapter? 12345678910, then
12131415161718192020 pages. So very solid chapter.

(17:32):
I'm happy that we got the halftime out of the way in one
chapter. Didn't didn't need to see any
more than that one thing. I was actually now that I
scrolled back through it, I couldn't help but notice, Oh, I
see Kiora there in the background.
I see you, but you know who I'm not seeing in the background?

(17:53):
Borrowing Cheeto. Where are those guys?
I see at the top we have Corona Raichi Nana say right?
I just saw Kiora in the background too, all wearing like
the the sideline jerseys. But where's Baro and Cheeto?
I feel like Cheetos out there. I don't know, networking, being

(18:15):
charismatic, you know, trying toflirt with people, guys or
girls, whatever he wants. Following Eagles advice like
experience life man. Baro though, where I'm I'm
surprised we didn't see any of them and I'm I'm also surprised
that ego hadn't hasn't subbed out anybody just yet.

(18:37):
But that's not to say that he's not going to do that in the
second-half right so yeah, we'llsee what happens.
I don't think people like Corona, right, you're going to
get subbed in, especially because they want to try like a
different attack pattern. They want to they they're going
to follow like a soggy's play style.

(18:58):
So yeah, I think Ren chiming in here at the end.
What is Soggy saying? Ren's like dude, I 100% agree
with you and the way Soggy and Ren, they really are just like
they're like best friends. It's still weird seeing them

(19:21):
play together and I, I don't think I'm going to see it in
this game. Absolutely not.
I think I what I'm really excited for is seeing Ren and
Asagi, their dynamic as as team members playing with each other
to score each other's goals. Kind of like the way Kaiser and
Asagi played in that last match against PXG, Like I want to see

(19:45):
that for Sagi and Rin, because now that both, now that Sagi's
at a higher level, I want to seethe way that that dynamic
matches with Rin, right? What I think we'll see in the
next chapter, since Nigeria is going to be, you know, trying a
different style. Everyone's going to try to.

(20:05):
Score their own goals. I think we're going to see Rain
in his destroyer mode, right? The sag he's going to be,
everyone's going to be playing alittle bit more defensively,
right? Because, especially because they
want to try this new attack pattern.
Nico said it himself, like, all right, if you guys want to do
this, we have to adjust our defence.
Like we can't stay the way we are.

(20:26):
We have to change. And sag, he's like, man, no
problem, I got you. So yeah, I'm excited about that.
This was a good chapter. Again, I'm glad we got the
halftime out of the way in this one chapter.
We're getting back to the game. I can imagine we get four to
five more chapters of this Nigeria game.
I think after that, the Nigeria game is over and we'll get to

(20:47):
find out whether or not we're playing France or England next,
right? That's what I'm really excited
about. I think I really, I really think
that that's where we're really going to see struggle,
especially against France. I think France is really going
to give Japan a run for its money.

(21:08):
England, it'll be harder than Nigeria.
But yeah, I don't know how. I don't know how much harder.
But yeah, I'm excited to see more of Ren.
I'm excited to see more of a Sagi.
Another highlight of the chapterfor me, I got to say is Oliver
IQ. I love this guy from character

(21:28):
design to personality. He's a great captain.
Again, the way he was giving histeam constructive criticism, the
way he's like huddled up with the Sagi and Karasu talking
about how they should like continue playing.
He's a captain. He he's a great player all
around. I'm happy he stuck around.

(21:48):
Ever since his character was introduced, I was like, oh man,
not the not the character with the two different colored eyes.
I'm a sucker for those kinds of characters.
So yeah, that was a definitely ahighlight for me.
Oliver is definitely one of my one of my favorite characters as
well. Actually.
I feel like a lot of the Blulockplayers are my favorite.
I like, I love all these guys, even Carlos, Sue, Nico, even

(22:11):
from like that first game where Asagi like wiped the floor with
him, like the fact that he was areoccurring character after
that, the rivalry there, I love it.
Yeah, this is great. I love seeing all these players
playing together. Right?
Oh, Manindra, thank you for subscribing, man.
I appreciate it. Yeah, I love that the Blue Lock

(22:34):
players are all together. We get to see more of them,
right? Oh, another one that I just
remembered. Rio, where are you?
In the locker room, man? Or did you see Nagi, like,
watching the game and you went to go meet up with him?
But we'll never know. But yeah, we didn't see Rio in
the locker room. We didn't see Rio.
We didn't see Baruchito. I can't think of anybody else.

(22:58):
I feel like Rio's still like going through, like a mood like
Bravo. Let it go, man.
Like you're a starter in the Blue Lock 11 for Japan, you're
in EU Cup, you're in the World Cup, UU 20 World Cup.
Come on, man. What's going on?
Stop. You're embarrassing yourself.
But this is a great chapter for me.
Easy 7 out of 10 just because I was entertained.

(23:20):
Have fun. It's definitely above average,
but I don't think it deserves anything above A7.
Even if I were to give point fives out here, I wouldn't give
it a .5. I think it's a very solid 7.
Pacing was good. I'm excited for the way both
both teams are going to come outthe gate swinging with different
play styles and I'm excited for this new formula that Ego is

(23:43):
talking about. Right.
Yeah, this is a good chapter. So thank you guys for tuning in.
Thank you Manindra for stopping by dropping a comment and
subscribing. We really appreciate it.
Next week I will be here on Tuesday.
I will now try to do this on Wednesday.
Again, this is a great chapter. Can't wait to start the

(24:05):
second-half of this Nigeria game.
Please like the stream, if you like the stream, leave a comment
if there's anything you want to see, if you have any predictions
for the rest of this Nigeria game.
I'm thinking it's going to be 525 Japan, 2 points Nigeria.
That's my prediction for this game.
But yeah, thank you for stoppingby here at the Moon Peace

(24:26):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
