Jackie Patillo is a dynamic leader in the Christian and Gospel music industry, serving as President of the Gospel Music Association (GMA) since 2010. With a career spanning decades, she has held influential A&R roles at Star Song, Benson Music Group, Integrity Music, and Sony Music’s Verity Records, where she championed artists like Phillips, Craig & Dean, Natalie Grant, and Israel and New Breed. A passionate advocate for diversity and unity, Patillo has elevated the GMA, producing the renowned Dove Awards and earning induction into the Stellar Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2019. Her visionary leadership continues to shape the future of Gospel music.Jackie shares her life story in this episode. Raised in norther California then being married to Leon Patillo (CCM / Gospel artist), moving to Nashville and starting again. Several A&R positions where she signed and developed legendary acts to becoming president of the GMA and producing the Dove awards.
