(00:00):
Let's start today with a little flashback to the past.
It was January 2021. Oh, let me just start today's.
Episode by. Letting everyone know that last
night I had a vision of my own. Death.
And it is imminent. And when I say imminent, I don't
mean tomorrow. I mean, it's probably going to
(00:21):
happen within in the next 10 years or so.
What a great way to start an episode by telling your audience
that you had a vision of your own death and it's imminent.
A bit dramatic perhaps, althoughright now with a ticking time
bomb in my head that if it blows, I'll probably die.
I don't know, maybe I was onto something.
A. Lot of living to do, and a lot.
(00:43):
Of digging. To do because before I go out,
assure you I am going to find out exactly what causes Morgans
and I'm going to prove it and I'm going to show the rest of
the world. Here's a great place to pause
and talk about an often ignored symptom of early morgalons.
(01:03):
It's called the Messiah Grandiosity Savior complex.
Many many of us at some point early on in this are like I will
solve morgalons and save everyone just as.
Soon as I put these tweezers. Down and get out of this damn
bathroom. We're going to get a newfangled
mRNA vaccine made for our Morgalungs disease or I die
(01:25):
y'all. And like I said, my death is
relatively imminent. Oh man, January of 2021, This
was I think before Omicron even hit.
Yeah, I was definitely wrong about the mRNA vaccines.
(01:46):
Noted. Hopefully I was wrong about the
vision of my own death. My body is apparently trying to
betray me right now. Although let's be honest,
everyone's body will betray and will decay.
We will all become food for future people, and I'm OK with
that. That's the natural cycle of
life. But there are some things that I
(02:08):
have to do before I go, and theyare not solve morgalons.
There is no solving of morgalons, right?
It'd be great to get more information.
We're still seeking that becausewe obviously deserve to know
more about what is in our bodies, what is coming out of
our bodies, what this whole pattern of compulsive error loop
(02:30):
behavior in morgalons, what it means and why it's happening.
And if there's anyone to blame, who are they?
And let's hold them accountable. That I still believe in solving
morgalons, though, is kind of a well, let's just say that's
ancillary to gathering information.
(02:51):
It's hard to solve a problem if you don't have all of the
information you need to analyze it and make educated guesses,
which you can then empirically test, right?
And besides, I. Haven't figured out more lines
or come up with the cure, but I've definitely proven that
there is. An effective.
Treatment, and it's called. Community.
(03:11):
Let's check back in with. One of our community members,
Kate. From San Francisco, let's see
how she's doing. Specifically.
Yeah. Right.
And have her, her state her, like, what would she have done?
(03:32):
This is the Jewish idea. What would she have done if
she'd still been alive? And it's the people that love
her that carry the torch for herthat it is our responsibility to
bring that to life as much as wecan.
Oh. My God, I love her.
Impact on the world would still be here, basically, Yeah.
There's nothing lost, you know. Oh.
My God, that's beautiful. And I want to do that so much
for her. And also on a difference like my
(03:54):
mom obviously still making her own impact on the world just
fine. But like honoring like who my
mom was when she decided single handedly by herself with no
evidence to counter everyone else saying that it was just
drugs, she absolutely just dropped it all and became my
biggest ally and advocate and I would be dead if it wasn't for
her, you know? And like.
(04:15):
That story of like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
All the judgment that gets intertwined with helping other
people and all those, like, evaluating things, like I give
them $10, what are they going todo with it?
Well, it's not your business. Oh, my God, yes.
It's literally not your business.
Just had this. Conversation in my group therapy
because someone was saying they were talking about how much they
resented this person who, you know, they did all this free
(04:36):
work, they thought they were their friend, blah, blah.
And I said, you know, I learned this lesson.
One time I gave a bomb that cameup to me.
He asked me for a dollar. I gave him $5.
And he was like, hey, can I get another 5 or whatever?
He didn't say thank you. And I was like, Oh my God, he
did not even say that. And then if you gave it to him?
If you gave. It to him.
That means you. Don't.
You're not asking me. Something else you know exactly.
(05:03):
It's transactional. It's not.
Charitable, you know. Exactly, but it is the only way
that it works and that message needs to be driven to.
Definitely does and think about it.
It's also like, think about how much you when you really give,
when you really give, think about all the weird things that
happen where you get like, like you get exactly what the thing
(05:25):
you were wishing to get for onlywhen you give it.
If you're in everything with youis contingent, then everything
is going to be. Contingent as well, yeah. 100%
people. And I think that that's like it
gets confused in some of those super spiritual circles, you
know, where they start to think that they control the universe
in some level. And that's like, whoa dude, you
(05:46):
do not. You know, only God controls.
The universe, right? Right.
You do not. But do we have an impact on it?
Is the is the entirety of the universe actually like it's all
in response song? Absolutely.
It is, Yeah. Oh, I love that.
I love that. It is.
It is. There's a word for that in
Greek. It's like.
The Komos. KOMMOS.
(06:08):
It's when the actor and the chorus speak back to one
another. It's sort of a lament.
It's kind of what we do here on.More mortal lines.
The silence, The terrible, isolating silence when the voice
of authority tells you your suffering is simply.
Not real. It is a gaslight.
(06:29):
We know that feeling. We've been told to see a.
Therapist not a specialist. We are the dismissed.
You change. Cities you change, doctors you
mortgage your hope. Just to.
Hear one person say I see the evidence and still nothing but
shrugs. Our labs are normal, but our
(06:49):
lives are broken. The disease is invisible, but
the pain. Is a monument we must carry
alone we. Are exhausted but.
Hear me now and let this echo. You are not alone in this
Chamber of uncertainty. We hear you and we believe you.
That is where. Healing begins.
I am seeing you have given our. Pain and name.
(07:12):
Thank you for the light. We keep fighting together.
I know it's ridiculous. It's just, I'm so grateful for
you. I cannot even tell you.
Like there's so many times when I am, you know, if I'm having a
hard time, like literally all I have to do is think about you
and then I can go, you know, andI can.
Thank you. Whatever, Kate, You're always,
you're always there for me too. I mean like every time.
(07:34):
Like I knew, I knew as I was texting you I was like, I bet
my. Phone's about.
To ring because, because that's what you do, you know, and of
course you're like, did you do need me?
Do you need me there? Like, you know, and I know
that's like not as simple like just, you know, you have all the
money and time in the world to do that kind of stuff.
So it really means a lot. The offer, you know, I mean, I'm
(07:54):
fine and you know, I would call you and be like, get your ass
down here. I will somehow pay for if I if I
was alone in this. Luckily, actually, Tom just
walked back into the house now so but but yeah, I do miss you a
lot. I want to see you bad whenever
we. Can you know, ever since I was a
kid, I heard this song by the Dixie Ticks, and it was Goodbye
(08:16):
Earl, you know? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And the, the, what they depict in there about this friendship
that like she's living in a different town and like, but
then something happens and then she just, they drop everything
and it's like, you know what, we're going to kill that
motherfucker. No one's ever going to fight,
right? And sell strawberry jam at A
roadside stand. You know what I mean?
Like. Yes, yes.
Yeah, I have held that as the ultimate friendship kind of
(08:39):
ideal since the song was released and I feel like until
now it's realized and I. Exactly.
Like since the day we met, I've been like, I mean, even before
we met, when you text, I was like, OK.
Listeners if you have not. Ever heard life?
And Death with Morgalon's Go back and listen to that episode
right now. It just it meant the.
World to me it was like OK this is my ride or die chick yes
(09:02):
what's? So interesting.
I'll let you go. I've taken a lot of vacations in
my life, but I feel like when I was there, I remember every
minute of it like literally I just showed your house and then
didn't we? I know right?
I. Know it's so weird that you say
that because Tom and I talk about that all the time about we
were actually just this morning we were talking about like both
(09:22):
of us remember going to your house when Brandon was there.
Like we remember every single part.
That's the other weird thing about time.
When you travel and you see people that you know, you're
friends with, and you're outsideyour normal environment, time
slows down. You know, I know that that is
perception, but I also don't know that it's perception.
(09:42):
I was talking to Dory about thatthe other day.
She was trying to tell me she was like, she's super sure that
the way that time is passing haschanged, that she doesn't
believe it's the same just like objectively.
And I was like, I don't know, you know what?
I don't, I don't know that I have a way to measure that
because the way that you would measure that is, is subjective.
So it's like, I don't know that I have the ability to prove that
one way or the other, but it's an interesting idea.
It almost seems like a goal now that I hear you saying that,
(10:05):
because I experienced that the same way.
And it's like there's something so because it's not just that
time slows down, it's that time slows down and it matters.
Yes, you know what I mean? Like there's something about it
that really matters. It's better when time is slow
like that. It's.
The fact that like, you're in a safe place and you're also
experiencing new things, It's because like, we get so
habituated to seeing our house and to doing this and to doing
(10:28):
that, that it all blurs togetherand it goes by so fast.
But when you're out, out of yourenvironment and you're with new
people doing and seeing new things, your your schedules
interrupted, Yeah, it's like time slows down and it's clear
and you're. Safe yes and like I was invited
to join some other people for some different things and every
time I would think about it I'd be like Oh my God and then I get
(10:49):
there and then I have to find a hotel and then there's just no
place that feels like that aboutit and then I just don't end up
doing it I. Like it that.
Didn't we almost miss our flight, Tom, when we were?
Gone. No.
We almost did. OK.
That's right. OK, Yeah, love you.
You know what I was thinking if if in November, because I know
that's a rough month, you know, for you.
And like if, if there's if there's any time or ability to
(11:12):
come down here and hang out for a few days, especially on those
really bad anniversaries and stuff like please come.
Thank you so much for saying that and I I would love to.
Yeah, let me know. Let me know we'd.
Love to because it's gonna be rough.
Yeah, it's gonna be rough because it's the third year, you
know, this is the third year. There's something about that
(11:33):
that feels really like, like, what if I like there's some
being stopped? Like the first year was like,
we're in shock. The second year was like, well,
it hasn't been long enough and now I kind of feel like OK,
Kate, right, you know, right. We're a lot of things coming up
around. Yeah, I bet.
I can only imagine. So I don't, you know, if there's
any way that you can not go through that alone and maybe not
be in those same places and be somewhere safe, you know, you're
(11:55):
more than. Welcome here SO.
Thank you so much. And also I have a request for
you and that's that if you do think that maybe you might
possibly need some company from.Me.
Ask, then ask then not when it actually is like a, you know,
like A cause by the time. We're.
Like we're like exotic parrots. By the time we actually look
(12:16):
sick, we're half dead, you know? That's a really good analysis.
I've never heard that, but I love it.
No, that's that's actually a good reminder.
Thank you, Caitlin. I'm not, I'm not.
That doesn't come naturally to me.
But you're right. You're absolutely right.
Yeah. And and you know, you don't have
to do it for everybody, but do it for me.
(12:36):
You know girl, I love you too. I love you so much.
Believe it or not, listeners, friends, strangers, I love all
of you, too. Let's put the tweezers down.
Let's leave the bathroom. Let's get on the plane.
Let's spend time together. If we have the ability to do so.
If we don't yet, let's start putting things in place to make
(13:00):
that happen. You know, there's another Morgie
mixer this year. It's going to.
Or sorry, next year it's going to be a retreat.
Yeah, and it's going to be a real treat.
Sorry. I've made that pun twice now.
Like it wasn't good the first time.
Seriously. If.
You can't. Afford to come to Atlanta and
you can't wait a year because you really can't afford to wait
(13:20):
a year because time is a flying and the best way to slow it down
and make it matter is to put thetweezer down get out the
bathroom go out your house go upto a stranger if you don't have
any friends that exist and say. Hey man, nice shirt.
Hey, I like your dog. What kind of dog is that?
Do you believe in aliens? Have you ever seen a UFO?
(13:40):
There's no need to call the police, Sir.
I was just being friendly. You know what I mean?
You get the idea. Or send me an e-mail
moremorgolons@gmail.com. Stay tuned.
But before we go, I was wrong about mRNA vaccines.
I was also wrong about this. COVID, I thought would kill the
mall. COVID will kill the.
Mall. We'll all soon see what's in
(14:08):
store. Nothing is in stores.
There are no more stores. It's killed them all.
It's killed them all. No more food is called aboard.
COVID kill them all. COVID kill them all.
(14:31):
No. More meeting your friends at the
mall. Kids just kill them all, no
more. OK?
All the way of. The Star.
Starts to fade, no more. OK, it's kids, just kill them
(14:53):
all.
