Mark Lynch is challenging the political establishment in a race that could dramatically reshape South Carolina's representation in Washington. A successful businessman who transformed his family enterprise from 5 employees to 110 while maintaining debt-free operations since 1999, Lynch brings a refreshing perspective to a political landscape dominated by career politicians.

The conversation reveals Lynch's deeply held convictions about returning America to its constitutional foundations. Having invested $5 million of his own retirement funds into his campaign, Lynch demonstrates his commitment to remaining independent from special interests while mounting a serious challenge to Senator Lindsey Graham's long-held seat. His decision to run stems from years of community involvement and growing concern about the direction of the country.

Lynch's platform centers around putting "God first," advocating for constitutional governance, eliminating what he views as unconstitutional federal agencies, implementing a biblical flat tax system, and enforcing immigration laws. His pro-life stance and emphasis on manufacturing revival resonate with conservative South Carolina voters. Internal polling suggests a promising path forward, with Lynch reporting that 57% of South Carolina voters say they'll never vote for Graham again, while 60% prefer a successful businessman.

While acknowledging the challenge of running against an incumbent with President Trump's endorsement, Lynch remains confident that his business experience and America-first platform will ultimately win over South Carolina voters in the June 2026 primary. For those interested in supporting his campaign, Lynch invites listeners to visit Lynch4Senate.com to volunteer, donate, or learn more about his vision for representing South Carolina with integrity and conservative principles. As Lynch emphasizes throughout the conversation, this campaign is not merely political—it's a calling to restore godly leadership to the United States Senate.

Intro (00:04):
Welcome to More Than Medicine, where Jesus is more
than enough for the ills thatplague our culture and our
country.
Hosted by author and physicianDr Robert Jackson and his wife
Carlotta and daughter HannahMiller.
So listen up, because thedoctor is in.

Dr.Jackson (00:22):
Welcome to More Than Medicine.
I'm your host, dr RobertJackson, bringing to you
biblical insights and storiesfrom the country doctor's rusty,
dusty scrapbook.
Well, I'm delighted today tohave with me online Mark Lynch
who, as many of you know, isrunning for the state senate
against Lindsey Graham, who'sheld that seat for a coon's age,

(00:46):
I reckon you could say and,Brother Mark, I'm delighted to
have you on More Than Medicine, welcome.

Mark Lynch (00:53):
Yes, thank you, dr Jackson.
It's an honor and a privilegeand I'm so humbled and thankful
that you're having me on thisevening.

Dr.Jackson (01:02):
Well, start off by telling my listeners a little
bit about who you are and yourbackground and what you do.
Well, I was born and raised herein Greenville, South Carolina.
We've been here my whole life.
We moved to Woodruff about 13years ago, just 15 minutes away
in between Spartanburg andGreenville.

(01:23):
So we're in Spartanburg Countynow.
I run our family business thatmy father started back in 1951.
We're in our 73rd year now.
Oh goodness, We've grown andgrown.
When I got out of USC inColumbia and came home, my
father you know I'd worked forhim on and off all through the

(01:46):
years, just in the way, gettingin trouble and learning to drive
and being a delivery installerand working in the warehouse and
later moving into sales and hesaid I've been holding this
business, seeing if you wantedto buy into it because I'm going
to be retiring soon, if youwanted to buy into it because
I'm going to be retiring soon.
So in 1983, we formed abuy-sell agreement between us

(02:08):
and in 1985, he released thereins and let me start running
the company, and with God at thecenter of the company, because
he's the owner.
I mean, you know that, drJackson, I do.
I understand it, I understandit fully.
I just have a stewardshipresponsibility over that and

(02:28):
with him at the helm we've grownthe business from five
employees to 110.
Our business sales have grown35 times from the date that I
took it over to 40 years nowthat I've been running it.
My father's with the Lord.
He passed on and went to heavenin 1997.

(02:48):
But my son and daughter, thirdgeneration, are now in it.
They're running the businessand transitioning into taking
over and they're doing a greatjob and that gives me the
opportunity to get into thisUnited States Senate race that
we're in.
And we've been debt-free as afamily and corporately since

(03:11):
1999.
That's wonderful, wonderful.
And anyway, I've been married 37years to my lovely wife, Sarah.
My partner and we have twochildren and four grandchildren
God's blessed us with, so wehave an awesome family.
And God's answered the prayers.
Well, I don't guess it's afamily connection, but we have a

(03:34):
connection with your business.
My father-in-law, Carlos Watson, was a chaplain for your
business for I don't know, sixor eight years, I don't know
exactly how long it was.
He was the first pastor on staffwhen we started teaching the
gospel and he started out doingthat one day a week and then

(03:57):
later he agreed to do it twodays a week because it wasn't
fair for the people that had theday off the day he was here, so
he agreed to do it twice andbrought a different message.
And he told us that it was oneof the most delightful positions
that he ever had.
He told us it was a ministrywithout deacons and deacon
meetings and he always lovedbeing the chaplain at Jeff Lynch

(04:24):
.
Yeah, I miss him.
Yeah, we miss him dearly.
I can't wait to see him again.
I hear you and he said that, drJackson.
He said if he had to do it allover again, this is where he
would preach, because he saidit's real here out in the
workplace rather than the hallsof a church.
Yeah, that's exactly right, hewas exactly right.
Well, now tell me this, markwhat in the world possessed you

(04:48):
to run for a US Senate seat?
Well, just the short of it is.
Back in 2014, we hosted a manto speak to our law enforcement
about the local Islamic threatand I heard that presentation
and couldn't believe howinfiltrated our country is with

(05:11):
enemies of our nation.
And I started helping them andbecame the chairman of the board
of their organization andmeeting different people and
hosting events, training six, eight hundred people in churches
and training our localsheriff's, deputies and police
deputies and sled agents inseven counties here through
several training programs.

(05:32):
I was asked to run for a stateSenate seat back in 2020 and I
almost won.
I lost by five percent.
But when people met me and heardme and heard my campaign
conversations and they, they, you know, I'm told that, you
know, um, that I have a backboneand I I'll hold the line and I

(05:54):
won't compromise.
And people know me from our 73year, uh years, of being in
business and how we do thingshere at our company in
Greenville.
They said you need to run again, you know, and there wasn't
anything really coming up that Ifelt God calling me to get into
.
And then my wife Sarah startedpushing last summer.

(06:15):
She said you know, I don't knowof anybody else that I trust
but you.
We don't have any othercandidate.
We've got to take LindseyGraham out.
And I had to let that sink infor a while because, um, and
sometimes I still drive home andI'm like this is crazy, you
know, but I've prayed the Jabezprayer for years that God would

(06:36):
bless me and my entire familyforever and indeed and that just
means God if can, I would loveto steward over bigger kingdom
picture work for you.
And so I was called to get inthis race.
Sarah and I prayed and we'vebeen given the green light and

(06:56):
we're in it.
We're in it to win it.
I hear you.
And so we jumped in and weplaced $5 million of our own
money into this campaign to showthe voters of South Carolina
and President Trump, becauseI've heard from Roger Stone, you
know that the president willwant to see how much skin you
have in the game and you'repolling.

(07:17):
So that's why we moved thatamount of money from our
retirement fund into thiscampaign account to seed it
initially and get it started.
I hear you Well, and when you dothat, you put in that kind of
money in the game.
It keeps you from beingbeholden to anybody else.
Yes, sir.
I mean that allows you to beyour own man.

(07:42):
Yeah Well, we filed back inFebruary and we were the first
one to announce we're runningand so, uh, we've been driving
all over the state andcampaigning hard, um, working
hard, getting home at two in themorning, doing whatever we need
to do.
I had three interviews today.
Uh, one was was when oneamerican news, another another

(08:05):
one with Steve Gruber, and nowyou and we're traveling Friday
to speak at an event, saturdayand Sunday at a church.
We're covered up.
I've had a couple of days offthis week, which have been nice,
so our team got to rest from 10days straight on the road
traveling.

(08:25):
Well, tell my listeners a littlebit about your campaign
platform.
What's your vision?
What do you hope to accomplish?
Well, we're a God first campaignIf we bring God back first in
this country.
That's what makes America greatagain.
Our country was founded on thefreedom to worship the one true

(08:46):
God.
That's why the pilgrims camehere and died, and later we
fought and got our Declarationof Independence from the British
and we created our Constitutionthat God divinely inspired our
forefathers to write.
That's the only way thiscountry runs is on godly moral

(09:07):
principles.
Every decision I'll make willcome through God's word.
It's got to pass his test first, and then the next filter is
the Constitution.
I hear you.
As your voice in DC, and sowe've really allowed our
government to get too big.

(09:28):
Our congressmen and legislatorshave gone way outside of their
enumerated powers.
They've createdunconstitutional agencies in
this country.
One of my first jobs will be toabolish most of these
organizations, and we know thatif we got rid of 80 percent of
the agencies that our governmenthas formed, that will help

(09:53):
bring back a balanced budgetjust tremendously quick.
You know, if we get rid of allthese agencies that are causing
the problems in our country.
Well, if you promise to do that.
Mark Lynch, you've got my vote.
Yes, sir, and so it's aboutreturning to the simplicity of a
document that will fit in ourfront pocket.

(10:15):
Not the annotated Constitution,it's a 20-pound book with
thousands of pages based on caselaw that most of our
politicians are using to makedecisions in the executive and
judicial legislative branch.
And, meeting with our chiefSupreme Court Justice in South
Carolina, judge John Kittredge,he said you know, mark, men have

(10:38):
always wanted to control men,and when they got away from our
Constitution that protects theunalienable rights God gave us
and they created this annotatedconstitution that they wrote,
they're now controlling othermen and society with that

(11:00):
constitution a fake one and sowe've got to get back to the
real one.
That's exactly right, it's notdifficult.
Exactly right.
But my platform is, you know,I'm 100% pro-life.
You know, in Jeremiah 1.5, theLord says Before I formed you in
the womb, I knew you, andbefore you were born I
consecrated you.

(11:21):
I appointed you a prophet tothe nations.
And in Psalm 139, 13 through 16, the Lord says For you formed
my inward parts, you knitted metogether in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I amfearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works.
My soul knows it very well.

(11:41):
My frame was not hidden from youwhen I was being made in secret
, intricately woven in thedepths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformedsubstance and your book were
written, every one of them, thedays that were formed for me
when, as yet, there was none ofthem.
A baby is formed at conception.

(12:01):
We can now see it on YouTube, where there's a beam of light
that surrounds that cell whensperm fertilizes the egg and
it's a life at that moment thatsurrounds that cell, when sperm
fertilizes the egg and it's alife at that moment.
And Lindsey Graham is formurdering babies in the womb up
to 15 weeks.
That's right.
And he voted for legislation toallow a mother to murder the

(12:25):
baby the moment before deliveryin nine states, and it's being
funded by our taxes fundingObamacare and Medicaid, and
that's got to stop.
You know we've murdered over 63million of our own in this
country 10 times the amount ofpeople Hitler killed in World

(12:46):
War II with the Jews.
So God's not going to blessthis country.
He's a just God and he's goingto serve punishment and I think
he has and he's waiting for us,the church, his people, to stand
up and fight this evil thatwe're all into.
So I'm going to help eliminatethat.

(13:08):
The other thing I will fightfor is our tax situation.
Biblically, we are to donate10% of our income in a flat tax.
No matter what you make, everybody pays 10%.
That's God's method of keepinga nation unified.

(13:28):
When we're taxing the richhigher than the lower income
families and whatnot, that helpsdivide a nation and it creates
division amongst its people, andthat's biblical.
Property tax needs to be doneaway with.
If I own something in my home ormy car or whatever, I don't

(13:48):
need to keep paying for it tokeep it.
That's like a mafia, you knowprotection fee.
They come by and collect andwe've got to end all that.
And with the tariffs that arecoming in, now that Trump's done
, thank goodness we can bringour manufacturing back to the
United States and employAmerican workers again and put

(14:10):
our country back to work wherewe can produce our own goods.
And because when I was a kid Iknow you know this, dr Jackson
you know made in America meantsomething.
It meant best quality, itlasted a long time, it was well
made and we took pride in ourmanufacturing of our goods.
And we got to get back to thatagain pride in our manufacturing

(14:33):
of our goods and we got to getback to that again.
The other big issue that I'llbring in my platform is return
to the rule of law in ourcountry.
You know we have, we have laws,we have a constitution.
We we will support and back ourpolice and sheriff's
departments in our communitiesand our first responders, and
we've got to put bad people awaythat break our laws and stop

(14:55):
allowing all the infiltration ofenemies that have been walking
across our border in here andit's just horrible that Lindsey
Graham was for amnesty.
He wants to grant amnesty toall the illegal aliens in our
country and that's the stupidestthing I've ever heard of.

(15:15):
No other nation does that.
Nobody does that, and weshouldn't do it either.
Yes, so we've got to finish that.
I'm so thankful Trump's back inoffice.
I'll support all of that.
And you know recently, we'renot hearing Lindsey Graham.
He is staying silent as more ofTrump's appointments are being

(15:36):
torpedoed.
I know Tom Tillis torpedoedanother Trump appointment and
Paul Ingrassia and LindseyGraham is saying nothing about
that.
Mike Lee is standing up in theSenate and he's asking the
senators to get on board withTrump's appointments, but
Lindsey Graham's not, andremaining silent is complicity.

(15:59):
Yeah, that's right and it'sworking against Trump in and
gavel in and gavel out and gothrough the formality of meeting
and just closing the meetingback again during this recess
period and Lindsey's remainingquiet about that, especially

(16:20):
because of the new Russian hoaxcollusion that Tulsi Gabbard's
brought out and Lindsey wasinvolved in that, working with
Comey and Brennan and Strzok andhelping that go on.
Let me ask you a question.
While you're on all of that?
Why has President Trumpcontinued to endorse Lindsey

(16:44):
Graham?
You and I and everybody inSouth Carolina know about his
antics and his treachery.
Why does he keep endorsingLindsey Graham?
Well, all I can figure is thathe's trying to work with him to
get get his vote because they'reso lean in the Senate.
You know, with our majorityit's a lean Senate majority and

(17:06):
he's got to have his vote.
And Trump's a businessman andhe knows how to win and he's all
about winning, and so Americaand South Carolina give him that
.
But we're all scratching ourheads asking the same question,
dr Jackson, because he's makingit hard here in our state.
He's endorsed the wrong peopleseveral times.

(17:27):
I agree he has and it's hurtingus and he's got to know better.
And it costs my campaign a lotmore money and time and sweat
equity to get the message acrossand get people to trust us,
because a lot of people that areuneducated they're going to,
you know, the day of the primaryelection next June.
They're going to.
Oh whoa, I got to go vote realquick.

(17:47):
And if they just look that uponline and see Trump endorsed
Lindsey, they might pull a leverfor Lindsey, not even realizing
, because they're just noteducated about what's going on
with the deep state.
So I pray that this will endsoon and Trump will recognize me
.
We've had people get myinformation to him.

(18:08):
They're talking to him about meand my campaign and I hope
he'll rescind his endorsement ofLindsey and endorse me.
That's what we're praying for.
Yeah, we need to pray for that, and I hope my listeners are
hearing this, yeah.

(18:33):
South Carolinian voters havesaid when we did our polls, 57%
of the voters in South Carolinahave said we will never vote for
Lindsey Graham again and 60% ofthe voters say we prefer and
will vote for a successfulbusinessman.
And that's what I am.
You know, god's blessed me andso I'm similar to Trump.
I know about running a businessand all the facets of keeping

(18:53):
this going all these years andstaying debt free, and it's just
a God thing.
It's because Jesus is my Lordand Savior and he knows how to
run a great business.
But that's what I'll bring tothis office and I'll stop the
corruption inside the Senatechambers.
I'll get rid of the bad judgesthat are trying to overthrow

(19:18):
executive orders from thecommander-in-chief.
You know I will support DonaldTrump unless he loses his head
or something.
But if he's still like he iswhen I get in, he won't have to
force me to work with him.
He can rest easy that thissenator from South Carolina will

(19:40):
be on his side, because I'm anAmerican first candidate and I'm
a true conservative.
I hear you All right.
Well, let me ask you this nowIf my listeners want to support
your campaign, be a volunteer, give financially.
How would they go about doingthat, mark Lynch?
Well, number one go to ourwebsite, Lynch4Senate.

(20:01):
It's spelled out Lynch,L-y-n-c-h-f-o-r.
Senatecom and go go there.
And if you want to volunteer tohelp, there's a volunteer tab
at the top.
You can click on and and wehave several categories of
helping with knocking on doors, putting signs out, praying you

(20:25):
can contribute to the campaign.
It takes a lot of money to dothis.
We're going to need more thanthe $5 million we've put in of
our own money, because itstarted now and we're only 11
months out until June, beforethe primary on June 9th.
But the biggest way we went.
That's June of this year or nextyear.

(20:45):
Next year 2026.
Okay, okay.
So, but the biggest way you canhelp is in the way we win.
This is on our knees, prayingindividually, repenting of our
own personal sins so that Godcan hear our prayers in heaven

(21:06):
and heal our land, like 2Chronicles 7.14 talks about and
I think, south Carolina, I knowwe're winning everywhere we
travel.
When people meet me and hear myheart and meet my family and
hear our platform and meet myfamily and hear our platform,

(21:27):
they're starving for a God-firstcandidate to help bring America
First principles back intoCongress again in the US Senate.
I know they are.
I know they are.
I hear it everywhere I go andpeople are disgusted with
Lindsey Graham.
I'm disgusted with LindseyGraham and I'm ready for a
change.
And, mark Lynch, you can bringthat change.

(21:47):
I'm confident in it.
I encourage my listeners tolook up your website.
I encourage them to go to oneof Mark's rallies and get to
know him personally.
I've known Mark for I don'tknow 15 years or more and he's a
man of integrity.
He's an honest businessman,hardworking businessman.

(22:08):
He is an America first patriot.
He's a strong pro-lifecandidate.
He understands the issues and Iam confident confident that he
will serve well in this positionin the Senate.
But he's going to have to beatLindsey in the primary and
that's where it's going tohappen.

(22:28):
It's going to happen in theprimary and that's where he's
got to win this battle.
Well, people are ready.
They love a successfulbusinessman and how we think and
operate and run things.
They're tired of lawyers.
They're tired of lawyers.
They're tired of careerpoliticians.
You know, I'm a deacon in ourchurch.

(22:50):
I love this country and I hangout with the people that are
fighting at the deepest level.
That helped me decide to getinto this.
And you know, when I go home tomeet Jesus, dr Jackson, I don't
want to hear why didn't you run?
You know, because he's calledme to do this and I'm answering

(23:14):
the call.
I hear you, I hear you and I'lltell you we have great people in
this state we're the majoritystill and everybody is getting
involved.
Everybody's talking to alltheir contacts on their phone
and helping our campaign growexponentially quickly so that

(23:35):
people can study and read andthey should.
They need to vet me and knowthat they believe in what I'm
saying.
An educated voter, an informedvoter, is so important.
So I just thank you for thistime again, dr Jackson, and I
make a plea out to the listenersout there to help spread the

(23:56):
message and help us.
We need everybody's help inthis.
We're going up against a giant.
But he's just a man.
Just a man, that's right.
God, the God in us, through theHoly Spirit that dwells in us,
is greater than he that is inthe world.
That's right.
We're going to take him out.
It's over.
I hear you All right, tell usthe website one more time.

(24:19):
Yes, lynch4senatecomforsenatecomlynchforsenatecom.
All right, you're listening toMore Than Medicine.
