Quasean Nicholson Interview - 017 - Part 1

Welcome to the MTS Podcast where everyone has a story.   On today’s episode, I speak with Quasean Nicholson, Quasean is a 1998 graduate of Southwood High School in Shreveport, LA. While at Southwood Qua received All-District and All-City honors in Basketball during his senior year. Quasean sits down with us today to speak about his transitions from Bethune to Turner then back to Bethune while in Middle School, Qua also discusses what he learned while playing on the Varsity team during his sophomore year and how each season was different from the next. After Southwood Qua signed with McNeese State where he spent a semester then took some time off before returning to the game of Basketball at Panola Community College in Carthage, TX, after a short time at Panola Qua moved to Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK before eventually completing his college career at Cumberland College in Lebanon, TN.   After college Qua spent some time playing semiprofessional ball before eventually starting a nonprofit called Supermen for Christ where he currently severs as the President, Supermen for Christ serves the Shreveport area as a food pantry where they provide for families in need, along with that, they also provide housing for men that were recently released offenders. Soon after starting the nonprofit Qua was called to start a local church in Shreveport call Kingdom of God Ministries, here now you can find Pastor Qua preaching Jesus Christ on Sunday’s and Thursdays.   Just a quick heads up, I decided to split this episode into 2 parts, this is part 1 with part 2 to be released soon after.
