Nannette (00:01):
Welcome to the Mormon
to medium podcast, where we'll
talk about spirituality, theparanormal religion, and my
journey going from Mormon tomedium.
I'm Nanette Wride.
Thanks for listening.
Now let's go have some fun.
Brad (00:20):
Hello everybody.
Welcome to the show.
This is the Mormon to mediumpodcast.
I'm here with Nan this morning.
Nannette (00:26):
morning.
Good morning.
Brad (00:29):
And we have got an
exciting announcement just in
time for Christmas.
So if you've been wondering whatyou should put on your Christmas
list, we've finally got Nan'sclasses on the website.
Nannette (00:42):
It is so exciting.
I've had so many people reachout and a lot of my clients even
reach out and ask when theseclasses are going to be taking
place.
Brad (00:51):
Yeah, she's been pimping
them out for a while now and
she's been doing all of thefootwork on the back end to get
things ready and squared away.
She's got them all ready forpeople to be able to take and up
on the website.
So we're going to talk aboutwhat these classes look like and
why they might be importantbecause you know, face it, a lot
(01:11):
of people hear this and they'relike, well, what is this hooey
wooey stuff and what.
Could it do for me,
Nannette (01:17):
It is not hooey wooey
at all.
You hear me talk about everyoneis energy, right?
We're 99 percent energy, 1percent mass.
So our cute bodies are 1 percentof us.
It's pretty important for us toknow about the 99 percent of us,
right?
Brad (01:33):
Right.
About all that
Nannette (01:34):
all that energy.
So, what the classes are, istouch for health.
It's for a layman to be able tobalance their body.
both muscles and energy.
Brad (01:45):
So a layman, like from the
book of Mormon.
Not that one, no.
What about Lemuel and Sam?
Nannette (01:53):
I didn't like them.
Brad (01:54):
not
Nannette (01:55):
Okay.
Sam was okay, but no,
Brad (01:57):
No! Hey look, history is
written by the victors.
They might have been the oneswho were really the victims
here.
Nannette (02:05):
no, just anyone can do
this work.
So Touched for Health wasactually created by a
chiropractor, um, and it's, it's50 years old this, this next
year, which is really, reallyexciting, but it is world wide.
So people all over the world do
Brad (02:23):
and doesn't it have
foundations though, not just
from 50 years, but in likeChinese medicine and
acupressure, acupuncture typestuff, right?
Nannette (02:33):
a lot of the balances
are acupressure, so we don't use
needles.
You know, to be able to balancesomeone, but we use the
pressure, on the meridians to beable to balance people.
And so you have 14 meridians, you've heard of cheap before,
right?
Or yin and yang.
Those are your meridians andthey run through your
fingertips, up your arms.
Through every organ in the bodyand out the feet, the front of
(02:54):
the body is the yin.
So you've heard a yin and yang, the back of the body is the
yang.
So we balance both centers ofenergy to create balance in the
body.
And when you do that, themuscles that are related to
those meridians, they relax.
So if you're in fight or flight, they relax and the body takes a
big, deep breath and you startto heal.
And it's so miraculous.
(03:15):
It's beautiful.
Brad (03:16):
That is awesome.
But I always thought my yang wasin front.
Nannette (03:18):
Yeah, you, you think
so.
You're so 14.
It's called your Willie infront, honey.
Brad (03:29):
So with the classes, if I
just want to know what the hell
this is all about, I saw thatyou have an intro on here.
Nannette (03:36):
I do.
I have an intro to touch forhealth.
Um, and, and it's really twohours it's on zoom, so you can
be anywhere and learn about itand kind of see what touch for
health is about.
Um, and you'll be provided alittle bit, of balancing a
little bit of understanding ofhow the muscles work and things
like that.
And we're going to do that onFebruary 9th.
(03:57):
Um, so right before we're goingto be doing the touch for health
classes.
So if you want to get into allthe classes and you'd also like
to do the touch for healthintro, you can do the intro for
free if you buy all of theclasses.
Okay.
But
Brad (04:11):
but wait, there's more
Nannette (04:13):
there's more, but if
you have zero idea what touch
for health is about, and youjust want to know what it's
about, you can get on the introto touch for health and see if
it resonates with your heart.
And if it's something that youcan use in your, with your
family, um, touch for health canbe used to balance you, your
spouse, your family, um, yourkids, your dog, like everyone,
um, animals.
(04:34):
All the things.
There's also in touch forhealth.
There are nine different stressbalances that you get to
experience.
So if you have a stressed outlife, there are tools that you
will learn on how to de stressyourself, which is so cool.
And nine different painbalances.
So, um, It's really powerfulstuff there.
So if you are in pain, low backpain, you know, headaches, um,
(04:58):
stomach pain, all those kinds ofthings, there's ways to not have
the pain anymore.
Brad (05:02):
anymore.
But there are also levels inthis too.
Cause I noticed we've gotseveral levels of classes that
you've put up.
Um, why would I take level one?
And, and, and you know, youtalked about, you've talked
about why I would take levelone, but why would I want to
take level four?
So
Nannette (05:25):
So levels one and two,
I teach together.
Um, there are four days.
Each section has to be 15 hourseach.
So level one and level two, eachare 15, 15 hours each.
Right?
Um, and, and the whole idea isfor you to be able to learn how
to test muscles and what thatfeels like and what the muscles
(05:45):
are.
So you're going to be learningthe muscles.
Um, so on level one, you'll belearning 14 muscles and that
one, I'm not even kidding youfor the first, Four years of my
energy balancing practice.
I did a 14 muscle balance onpeople.
That was all I did.
I never used the rest of touchfor health, honestly, which was
so dumb because I went back andI relearned them.
(06:05):
I'm like, I didn't remember howcool this was.
Brad (06:09):
You're like, wait a
minute, there is a
Nannette (06:11):
There, there's so
much.
So in level two, you continuelearning your muscles.
you end up learning, I believeit's 23 muscles in those first
two books, but you start alsolearning.
I mean, each one of the muscles, some of them are big muscles,
some are small, but you startlearning the feel of those
muscles.
You learn pretests and you learnall the things to get the body
(06:32):
ready to be able to talk to thebody.
So it's really, really cool.
Brad (06:36):
No.
Okay.
You're going to have to explain,I think what you mean when you
say talk to the body.
Nannette (06:40):
Well, for example, um,
let's say we're, we're dealing
with your anterior deltoid.
That's, that's a muscle up onthe front part of your shoulder.
And um, when we test that thearm is straight out kind of in a
mummy position and I push downon that.
If the muscle, if I push down onthat for two seconds with two
pounds of pressure, if I pushdown on that and it doesn't
(07:02):
hold.
It's not talking, right?
So we want it to hold.
And if it doesn't hold, we needto balance it.
That means there's not energygoing to that muscle and we need
it to because that's yourgallbladder meridian.
So that there's lots of musclesthat are along the gallbladder
meridian or lots of muscles thatare along the stomach meridian
or the liver meridian or thesmall intestine.
(07:24):
Like you have 14 meridians withdifferent muscles.
Brad (07:26):
this ties all into the
whole beaver dam that we hear
you talk about.
Nannette (07:30):
Oh, totally.
So a beaver dam is always goingto be a trauma, an old belief
system, or a trapped emotionthat is in that river of energy
that goes through yourfingertips, through every organ
in the body and out the feet.
So if you imagine a cute littlebeaver coming along and building
a dam, remember a dam is goingto be cute.
A trauma, an old belief systemor a trapped emotion.
(07:52):
If you have that in there, um,what we do is we talk to that
muscle and we talk to the bodyand we find out what's going on
and each one of those meridianshave emotions that go with them.
So, um, like contentment versusanxiety is in your stomach
meridian.
If you have a beaver down inyour stomach meridian, you're
experiencing contentment versusanxiety, tons of anxiety.
(08:12):
I can guarantee you if I'mlooking at somebody that has
anxiety, I can guarantee you Ican go.
Test their stomach meridianmuscles and they won't hold.
Brad (08:21):
Really?
Nannette (08:22):
Oh, a hundred percent,
a hundred percent.
Yeah.
It's really, really cool.
Once you learn how the bodytalks, it's like how
interesting.
So like the low back pain is allrelated to your fight or flight
muscles in your hips.
You have lots of muscles in yourhips and in your legs.
Um, you know how you fight, flight or freeze.
Um, Um, if those muscles aren'tworking, it can cause extreme
(08:44):
low back pain, but once youbalance them, guess what goes
away?
It's really, really cool.
Brad (08:50):
nice for a lot of
Nannette (08:51):
A lot of folks, and
you know, a lot of people
Brad (08:54):
I get it a lot
Nannette (08:55):
You do.
Brad (08:56):
you're like, all right,
let's go balance.
You get on the table.
Yeah.
So our daughter was in a carcrash and knew that a balance
could help her heal quicker.
(09:17):
So we asked her if she wouldlike a balance and she said,
yes, please.
And so I was able to do asurrogate balance for her.
So essentially I acted in herplace
Nannette (09:29):
So you pretend to be
her basically.
We ask your energy if it's okayfor you to be her, right?
But we balanced you first,right?
Brad (09:37):
Yeah, so, so here's the
thing.
Nan's like, okay, we're gonnahave to balance you because
you've got some stuff that'sgoing on that's not holding.
And so she went through and thenshe showed me how everything was
holding and we were good.
And then I took Talia's placeand pretended to be her.
And And I flounced around like alittle girl.
(09:57):
Um, By
Nannette (09:58):
the way, by the way,
there is scientific proof that
when you surrogate, um, the waythat we surrogate, um, you
actually change down to the celllevel and the blood level.
So when you became Talia, youliterally down to the blood
level became Talia.
And so you feel all of her achesand pains.
You feel all of her stuff.
Your muscles act like her.
Brad (10:17):
Yeah.
So energetically I, I took overand surrogated for her.
And when Nan did the testsagain, none of the muscles held.
It blew me away because I hadliterally like, she's like, all
right, let's test this.
And like five minutes before myarm held strong, there was no
issues.
And as soon as I startedsurrogating for Talia
(10:41):
energetically, none of themuscles held.
It.
Was so crazy.
Nannette (10:47):
It's a really, really
cool work.
You guys, um, being able to talkto the body and understand the
language of the body and ourbodies hold all of the memories.
It holds all of them, all of themessages, all of the emotions,
all the traumas.
So we as humans, we're supposedto let those things pass through
us and we're supposed to learnfrom it.
(11:07):
But what we do is we hold itforever and ever and ever and it
causes dis ease.
Those beaver dams cause dis easeand if you've held it for a
really long time, you can startto see things like fibromyalgia.
You can start to see things likeosteoporosis.
A lot of people don't understandthat when the body is in a
trauma situation.
(11:27):
It eats up its magnesium andwhen magnesium is an imbalance,
the opposite of that magnesiumin the body is calcium.
So you will have anoverabundance of calcium in the
body when magnesium isn'tbalanced, but you bring
magnesium back into balance andthe calcium calms down and
actually will dissolve and bethe way it's supposed to be.
So the body can heal itself ifyou give it what it needs.
(11:50):
And sometimes it takes a littlebit of time, um, but it'll a
hundred percent heal itself.
That's the way it's made.
Brad (11:56):
Really cool.
Yeah.
The body's amazing.
Now, I wanted to get back to theclasses really quick though.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You are telling me that theclasses actually count for
continuing education credits fornurses and chiropractors and
Nannette (12:11):
chiropractors.
They don't need continuingeducation.
Chiropractors do do this work alot and
Brad (12:16):
do do?
Nannette (12:17):
they do do.
So a lot of chiropractors, um,do touch for health in their
practices, which is really, really cool because, um, if you
think about it, the skeletalsystem, um, they can crack all
they want, but if the muscleisn't going to hold the
adjustment in place.
Why are you doing it?
Do you know what I mean?
So you've got to get the muscleto work with it first and then
(12:37):
do the adjustment and thenthings will hold.
Brad (12:39):
this is a really good
complement to a chiropractic
Nannette (12:43):
Oh, totally.
And there's lots of people areworldwide that they do touch for
health that are chiropractors, but lots of physical therapists
do it.
Um, massage therapist.
So you've got massagetherapists, physical therapists,
um, also nurses.
They can get CE credits.
Um, Um, from the international,um, college
Brad (13:02):
Oh, that's cool.
Nannette (13:03):
which is really,
really cool.
Yeah.
So for all of those hours thatyou're in class, you get the CE
credits, um, which is a way, wayof
Brad (13:09):
done.
Nannette (13:11):
It kind of, it kind of
adds a big plus to it.
You know,
Brad (13:13):
Well, I think that's a, a
really cool way to add the
holistic medicine to what's,what's the
Nannette (13:20):
all the, uh, I can't
say it all.
I can't say it.
Allopathic medicine.
Yes,
Brad (13:28):
So yeah, that's a really
good way to add the the holistic
medicine to the allopathicmedicine.
And, you know, get them to blenda little bit by offering those
CE
Nannette (13:39):
And they really should
go hand in hand and you know,
when, like, let's say that, um,your kids aren't feeling well
and, um, you really don't wantto take him to the doctor or
whatever.
Um, you can always do a balanceon them and it will speed
healing because that, thatenergy will help heal the body
and it will speed healing to thebody and they'll get better
(13:59):
faster.
Brad (14:00):
get better
Nannette (14:01):
There's always a
balance for that.
There's literally thousands ofbalances.
It's the coolest
Brad (14:05):
It's so funny because like
anything that's going on, I'm
like, oh my god, I'm getting aheadache.
Nana will look at me and go,there's a balance for that.
I'm
Nannette (14:14):
There is you.
Brad (14:15):
balance shames me.
You
Nannette (14:17):
literally have five
meridians that run through your
head.
So if you have it, if you have.
Beaver down in one of those ortwo of those or three of those
or whatever.
You could get a headache.
Go figure.
Brad (14:28):
Like, and
Nannette (14:29):
And it goes down your
arms.
Some of it goes down the middleof your chest and down into your
feet.
Like you literally are just madeof energy and magic.
And if you're having pain, youshouldn't, you need to balance.
If you're having depression, youshouldn't.
You need to balance likeseriously.
It's that easy.
Brad (14:48):
It is that easy.
Now beyond just the basic, here's how you do this stuff,
you've got some really coolclasses that are an add on,
right?
Little workshop classes.
Nannette (14:58):
Well, let me, let me
touch on, um, sections three and
four, which are the moreadvanced.
Yeah, they're the more advancedpart of touch for health.
So touch for health.
Let me also say is in personbecause you have to have the
hours of touch actual hands on.
Um, so they're in person.
You would have to come to St.
George and get a hug from me.
Brad (15:18):
And there's only,
Nannette (15:19):
And there's only,
there's going to be a limited
amount of people.
Okay.
Thank you.
Brad (15:23):
hug.
This doesn't cross the lines.
There are no laws that arebroken.
Nannette (15:29):
um, but sections three
and four, additionally, will be
held, so sections three and fourare in May in the middle of me
and they're four days as wellthen these balances or these
classes, you get into the funstuff.
You get into learning how to dothe corrections, um, and, and
how to fix things.
(15:51):
And it's so fun because there'sso many ways to learn it.
This is where you learn thestress balances and the, the
pain corrections and all ofthese really, really fun ones.
And you're just gonna.
Oh, they're gold.
They're absolute gold.
Um, love them, but you have to,you have to learn the muscles
before you learn how and wherethe meridians are before you
(16:13):
learn how to actually balancethose muscles and work with the
meridians and be able to haveanything make sense.
So it is baby steps, but such afun class.
And, um, I can't wait to teachit.
Brad (16:26):
That's awesome.
And then you've got, like Isaid, I was alluding to some
additional mini classes thatsound really cool.
Like you've got a, uh,kinesiology for kids.
Nannette (16:37):
Yes.
So, um, a lot of times kids, especially right before school,
you know, they're coming off ofsummer break and they're getting
ready to go to school and theyhave ants in their pants and you
can't get them to settle down.
Um, you can always do a completebalance on them or find out what
their bodies need.
Also before tests or, um, ifthey're in, um, athletics, um,
(16:59):
you can also help.
Brad (17:00):
them do better in all
their sports and things.
Um,
Nannette (17:04):
if they have an
injury, um, there's a, there's a
balance for the hats, there'sliterally a balance for
everything.
Um, I think I, I've mentionedbefore when I went to my
instructor training for touchfor help, that I had hurt my
foot and, and it turned purpleand it was big and swollen and I
couldn't walk on it and it was,is very painful.
And, um, that evening I Got abalance by one of the students
(17:29):
and literally before my eyes,I'm not kidding.
And this is no exaggerationbefore my eyes, the bruising
went away.
The swelling went away.
It felt a little tight in there, but that was about all.
And the pain went away and I wasable to walk on my foot.
And by the next day, I had zeroissue with it at all.
It was like it never happened.
(17:49):
So the body will heal itself ifyou know how to balance it.
And these are the things youlearn in touch for help.
So with, with the kids balances, you learn how to balance your
kids, um, which is magic.
I would love to have known howto balance my five kids, you
know, when they were sick orthey had quote unquote ADHD that
they didn't have, or like somany things in my, my kids
(18:11):
played sports.
They played football andbaseball and soccer and.
Brad (18:14):
you imagine the kid being
like, I'm sick today, mom.
Nannette (18:18):
Let's do a balance.
You're going to school.
Bye.
Brad (18:21):
Going to school.
Nannette (18:23):
Exactly.
And then we also have a classthat is to learn to balance your
pets.
Brad (18:28):
the one I'm really excited
about.
I think that's going to be socool.
Nannette (18:32):
Yeah, it's really,
really neat.
I've been able to balance lotsof dogs.
Um, and it's, it's really coolwith the animal's body will tell
us about what's going on andit's, I've had it backed up by
them taking their animal to thevet and being told the exact
same thing except for the animalgets better really fast.
Brad (18:50):
Because you move that
energy and take away the beaver
dams.
Yeah.
Yes,
Nannette (18:53):
Yes, exactly.
It's, it's miraculous work.
That's all I can say.
And I will do this till the dayI
Brad (18:58):
I die.
Well, and the kids and the petsare both through Zoom, so people
can take those from anywhere
Nannette (19:04):
Anywhere in the world.
Yeah.
And there isn't a limit on thoseclasses.
There is a limit on thein-person classes because, I
mean, face it.
Our building is just so big
Brad (19:14):
Right.
Well, and you're just oneinstructor,
Nannette (19:16):
I'm one
Brad (19:17):
want to make sure people
get enough individual attention
and time.
Where should we send people togo to if they want to see these
classes and sign up for them?
If
Nannette (19:26):
you would like to see
these classes and know what they
entail, um, go to zenergysage, ZE N E R G Y S A G E.
com.
zenergysage.Com.
And when you open that page, there's a little plus sign on
that first page.
Click that and it'll go down toclasses and that'll send you
right where you need to go.
And just FYI, If you sign upfor, um, touch for health one
(19:49):
and two, and you sign up forthree and four, you'll save 300.
So if you buy them as a package, but if you're not really sure
and you just want to take oneand two, that's okay too.
I don't offer them by themselvesthough yet.
So
Brad (20:03):
be really
Nannette (20:04):
it'll be really fun.
Brad (20:05):
it should be really cool.
I'm excited to see how this pansout and I'm really so proud of
you for all the work you put into get these classes up and
going and ready to teach.
I think it's amazing that youwant to share what you can do
with people.
You're welcome.
Nannette (20:24):
been a lot of work.
Brad (20:26):
I know it has, so it's
going to be awesome to be able
to do that.
Nannette (20:30):
You know, I, um, I
came to the realization that I
can only balance so many peoplea day myself and I just want to
share this work with everybodybecause everybody should be
doing this.
It should be in your medicinechest and your first aid kit.
and if you don't have it, youhave to have it.
But I realized that if I canteach other people to do this
(20:50):
work, they can hand it down totheir children and so on and so
forth.
And it kind of grows like aFaberge commercial, you know,
Brad (20:57):
Like a Fabergé commercial.
A Fabergé commercial.
Nannette (21:00):
that I'm showing my
age,
Brad (21:01):
You're, you're going to
have to fill me in on that one
because I don't understand the
Nannette (21:04):
And they told two
friends and they told two
friends and so on and so on andso on.
Brad (21:09):
and so on.
Got it.
Yeah.
I thought that was like Utahmulti level marketing.
Yeah.
This is not
Nannette (21:14):
Yeah.
This is not multi levelmarketing, but oh my gosh, it is
miraculous.
I will tell you that and, um, Ialways say this, but this is my
quote.
I stand in reverent awe of thebody and the soul.
When you get to do this work, itis just shocking every single
time when things balance andthey go back to being normal.
(21:35):
I've seen so many people thathave been in pain for so long
and they get a balance and allof a sudden they're not in pain
and they're shocked and so am I.
But I mean, I see this all thetime, but it's like, Oh my gosh,
it did it again and again andagain.
Literally thousands of times, like, so cool.
Brad (21:50):
Well, I, I think it's
really cool the way you put it.
It's something people shouldhave in their first aid kits.
It's a skill like CPR that is souseful and I'm so happy you do
it.
Thank you Nan for all the timeyou've put into learning this.
Nannette (22:03):
Thank you, babe, for
letting me do it.
Uh,
Brad (22:16):
does.
Nannette (22:17):
learn the language of
your body.
It's really important to learnwho you are.
Um, once you do that, you alsostart to step into your own
spirituality, which I love.
So
Brad (22:26):
Perfect.
Thank you so much, everyone.
We'll see you.
Nannette (22:29):
on the other side of
the veil.
