Brad (00:01):
So on today's show, I wanted to talk about dicks.

Nannette (00:04):
It's not like that.
Get your head out

Brad (00:07):
not like that.
Get your head out of the gutter, everybody.
I'm talking about those rudepeople, those inconsiderate
people who you go, What thehell?
Why would they talk like that tome?
And then sometimes I'm actuallya dick, so I can relate even
more than most people, right?
But Nan said we couldn't talkabout that.
We need to stay positive.

Nannette (00:26):
We need to stay positive.

Brad (00:29):
listen up.
Here comes the show.

Nannette (00:35):
Welcome to the Mormon to medium podcast, where we'll
talk about spirituality, theparanormal religion, and my
journey going from Mormon tomedium.
I'm Nanette Wride.
Thanks for listening.
Now let's go have some fun.

Brad (01:02):
Well, hello.
This is the Mormon to mediumpodcast.
I'm Brad and I'm here with my cohost, the beautiful Nanette.

Nannette (01:09):
Hello, beautiful husband.

Brad (01:11):
Good morning.
Good morning.
Good morning.
So quite a, an eventful week.
Yeah.
The crazies are

Nannette (01:18):
Yeah, it's, the crazies are out.
For sure.
It's a crazy week.
Brad, you posted a couple ofthings on our social media that
caused quite a shit storm.

Brad (01:30):
I think it's

Nannette (01:32):
I think it's interesting because they weren't
negative.

Brad (01:35):
Well, they weren't.
I guess some of them could havebeen considered a little bit
poking fun, but I struggle withthe, the whole Relief Society
voice because they had a cup ofcoffee and because of that
little cup of coffee She wasn'table to get a temple recommend

Nannette (01:55):
Okay.
And neither

Brad (01:57):
were any of her children who drank coffee with her.

Nannette (02:02):
It's absurd.
The crazy thing is, is like, most adults are not going to
have their little kids drinkingcoffee.
So it's not going to besomething that is seeped into
them through childhood andadulthood and

Brad (02:15):
but you've got to realize that if you're a child and you
see your parents drinkingcoffee, you're probably going to
drink coffee when you get older, right?
Um, we have friends and theydon't let their kids drink
coffee, but when they get older,I'm sure they will.
And that's okay.
That's their choice.
And that's what I think is this, this woman with the good pioneer
stock.
She, uh, She let her, uh, adultchildren drink coffee with her

(02:38):
and enjoyed their time in themornings.

Nannette (02:40):
I'm going to just play it so our audience can hear what
we're referring to.
And then we can kind of talkabout some of the stuff that was
said

Brad (04:07):
Yeah, I thought I did a pretty good impression.

Nannette (04:10):
You did.

Brad (04:11):
I can recognize the, the Relief Society voice like a mile
away.
I hear that and I'm like,

Nannette (04:16):
wonder if it's like a class they take when they get,
you know, the calling if they,we need to take a Relief Society
voice class, you know, and, andfake like you cry all at the
same time.

Brad (04:28):
Well, and I think actually, if you notice, All of
the speeches have pretty muchthe same tempo, the same
enunciation.
I'm confident they have somebodywho is a communications person
who teaches them how to cadencetheir talks.

Nannette (04:45):
But regardless of how she's speaking, what she's
saying, you took a lot of heatfor because you posted it and
you're not even the one thatsaid it.
This was in a general

Brad (04:57):
that said it.
This was in a generalconference.
It is absurd.
And, you know,

Nannette (05:06):
absurd.
And, you know, medically, additionally, uh, a lot of
people, if they drank coffee, they probably wouldn't have
digestive issues.

Brad (05:15):
digestive issues.

Nannette (05:17):
It does.
It makes you really regular.
I know, I know quite a fewpeople that like have a bowel
movement once a week and do thatis not good for the body.
It's not The body's full oftoxins.
Get a cup of coffee for God'ssake.

Brad (05:30):
Yeah, I thought we weren't going to talk about dicks.
I thought we were just, Ithought we were going to be

Nannette (05:34):
am I being a dick?

Brad (05:36):
No, no, no, no, no.
We're, we're talking about thenegativity

Nannette (05:39):
No, no, it's just, it's, it's shocking.
That's all that.
Um, people are uptight aboutthat.
That's all.
Um, and you had, you had done acouple of more like about the
porn shoulders and about women,um, being the objects of
pornography because men can'tcontrol their own thoughts.

Brad (05:56):
that was a Dallin H.
Oaks talk where he literally, itwas all towards the men at the
beginning and you know, how theyshould avoid pornography and all
of that, you know, well andgood, whatever.
But then at the end he goes, andyoung women,

Nannette (06:11):
and scolds the young women, like they're

Brad (06:13):
when you dress immodestly, you become pornography.

Nannette (06:19):
And

Brad (06:20):
I take offense to that.
Women don't become pornography.
If You are a pervy old man andyou look at a girl who has
exposed shoulders and you startgetting lustful thoughts.
That's your problem, not hers.
How in the world is it okay tojustify blaming women because a
man doesn't have any selfcontrol or can't look at a woman

(06:44):
and go, you're a person, you'rea woman.
I, without having lust, it'sabsurd.

Nannette (06:50):
You know, it, it is absurd and, um, it just adds to,
you know, what they do to womenand it's just degrade them all
the time and have to controlthem and, you know, they have to
be subservient to thepatriarchal order, all of those
things.
And women, they create with God.
I mean, they should be on apedestal and should be treated

(07:12):
with more respect than anything.

Brad (07:14):
You know I just want to point out, men play a fair share
in that creation too.

Nannette (07:19):
uh, yeah, but you don't carry a kid in your body
for nine months.
So there's

Brad (07:23):
Hey, you know what?
That two minutes is a lot ofwork.

Nannette (07:25):
yeah, if you're lucky, if you're lucky, but seriously,
um, I'm realizing by some ofthese posts and some of the, the
ways, um, I have even beenapproached on social media
lately.
Um,

Brad (07:42):
you got called out.

Nannette (07:44):
Several times.
Yeah.
And not by any, I haven't evendone anything,

Brad (07:48):
you know what Nan?
You reposted what I said, soessentially it lumps you in,
into that

Nannette (07:52):
but they were, they were great posts though.
They really, really were.
They, they make you think alittle bit and I don't think
that they were offensive.
I, I personally don't, if you'regoing to take offense to
something like that, then dude, you need to.
Double check things a littlebit.
A lot of people with the coffeething thought that it was a
commandment, was not acommandment.

(08:12):
And I got to throw back at themscripture where it says it's not
a commandment

Brad (08:15):
89 verse 2.

Nannette (08:17):
And, and I mean, no, your history is kind of like
what's going on in the worldtoday.
You know, people have forgottentheir history.
You've got.
Tons of anti Semitism going onaround.
I don't get it.
Like, did, did they not watchhistory?
Did they not watch any of theshows about, um, Hitler and
Stalin?
I mean, I'm in the middle of ashow my daughter got me going

(08:38):
on.
Um, and it's called, we are thelucky ones on Hulu.

Brad (08:41):
on Hulu.
I can't watch it.

Nannette (08:43):
yeah, no,

Brad (08:44):
too sad.

Nannette (08:45):
but it's, it's Stalin.
And, um, I had no idea thesethings happen and I had, didn't
have really great historyteachers.
So, um, I probably checked outor probably didn't even go to
class, but I knew Stalinexisted, but I didn't realize to
what degree.
And, and I knew that he hadkilled more people than, um,
Hitler, but not, not like this.

(09:06):
Like.
My heart is just broken.
I mean,

Brad (09:08):
you mean like upwards of 20 million people is what

Nannette (09:11):
Yes.
Yes.
And, and they were put in thesework camps, like in Siberia, for
example, and yeah.
And, and they were made to work.
I mean, you're talking bittercold and their, their fingers
and toes and stuff are justrotting off of their hands.
With frostbite and they wouldn'tsend in doctors to help them.
They were starving to death, like all these things.

(09:32):
And I, I'm

Brad (09:34):
is why I don't watch it, it's heartbreaking,

Nannette (09:36):
Yeah, I'm astounded.
I, um, the stories that arecoming from this.
So really good show.
If you guys, I highly recommendgo watch it.

Brad (09:44):
If

Nannette (09:44):
you don't know your history, but if you don't know
your history, know your history.
Cause that's what's wrong withthis.
What's going on in the UnitedStates in the world today, there
is so much antisemitism.
They don't remember theirhistory and you know, it's
disgusting.
It really, really is.
And none of us are purebreds, none of us or anything, and we
should respect each

Brad (10:05):
we should respect each other.
Let me throw out this.
This

Nannette (10:10):
Is it positive?
Is it kind?
And if it's not

Brad (10:13):
Is, well, is, is being anti Semitic and siding with
Palestine different than beinganti semitic and signing with
the Ku Klux Klan or whitesupremacist.

Nannette (10:24):
I mean, technically, I, I guess it's, it's the same,
same.
The thing is I've seen, interviews where people have
gone on some of these campuseswhere these kids are doing
these, um, Palestinian proteststhat are going on and that are
breaking out into fights and allthose things.
And they're asking them like, why are you here?
Well, we're standing up forPalestine.

(10:45):
Well, why?

Brad (10:46):
sure.
My

Nannette (10:47):
I'm not really sure.
My friend just got me to come.
Or do you know what I mean?
They just want to be a part ofsomething.
They want, they have all thisenergy and they want to be a
part of something and they thinkthey're doing something good,
but they don't know theirhistory.

Brad (11:00):
but they don't know their history.

Nannette (11:02):
Yeah.

Brad (11:04):
Did that trigger you?
You're like, no, no,

Nannette (11:13):
no, no.
You know what?
I have zero story about peoplethat want to go to church and
that's where they need to be.
Awesome.
Totally awesome.
Just don't forget about yourspirituality because that is
where the sweetness in lifelays.

Brad (11:25):
that that's a, a good segue into some of the things we
wanted to talk about, right?
Like, obviously I threw out thedick thing and that's not where
we want to go.
We want to stay more positive.
And one of the things we want totalk about was spirituality and
how you can maintain that closetouch with spirit.
Right.

(11:45):
Well,

Nannette (11:47):
we're all divine, right?
We all came from our divinecreator and we have divinity in
each of us.
And um, when we're in touch withthat divinity, we find peace and
happiness and we learn tocreate, we learn to manifest.
And that is where life is.
Isn't hard.
You know what I mean?
You literally can go with theflow and that's where you begin

(12:08):
to heal generational traumas.
And, um, you know, thinkchildhood traumas, old emotions,
old belief systems that aren'teven yours.

Brad (12:17):
much.
So as you start working throughthat stuff, does it help you to
become more spiritual or tobecome closer to creator than if
you have those blockages in your

Nannette (12:29):
It does, because everything is energy and
everything's vibration andfrequency, right?
So if you have our creator, that's vibing really, really
high and anything on the otherside in the etheric realm is
going to vibe really, reallyhigh.
And For us to be able tocommunicate with them, get
information from them, which weshould.
We have a crown chakra, we havea third eye chakra.

(12:51):
That's your clairvoyance.
Um, your ESP.
Yes.
You're supposed to have that.
Um, your crown chakra, um, helpsyou get the download from the
other side and you have a wholeentire team, spirit, guides,
angels, ancestors that are thereto help.
And you should know who theyare.
And if you don't.
You need to find out becausethey're there to help and they
can make your life so muchsweeter and so much more rich.

(13:14):
Um, and, and that's, if we startto live from the spirit out,
we're going to be more peaceful.
We're going to be less reactive, you know, um, less, more, um,
purposeful in our life and morehappy.

Brad (13:31):
I can see that.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.

Nannette (13:34):
When you're vibing high that it just happens you're
not get your there's gonna beless sickness because sickness
is a low vibration And if you'rea high vibration, you won't get
sick

Brad (13:43):
sickness is a low vibration.
And if you're a high vibration,you won't get sick.
Well, if

Nannette (13:54):
you're living from spirit from the inside out, you
can, it's a choice.
Am I going to engage this orI'm, I going to just let it pass
by.
Um, if you're going to, if youchoose to engage it, you know
that it's going to pull yourenergy down.
Most of the time, what everyoneshould do is walk around with
their protection up around theirenergy so that they're in charge
of how much energy they spend.

(14:16):
Like if you've ever been in.
Uh, in public or in a really,um, negative area or with a
negative person.
And then you leave and then allof a sudden you're just
exhausted.
You're like, I got zapped.
Well, it's because they suckedall your energy away and there's
none left for you, but you letthem.

Brad (14:33):
let them.
Energy vampires are a realthing.
It happens.
I mean, we've all been aroundpeople like that.
Right?
Yeah.
So, so

Nannette (14:39):
So being aware of your energy and how you spend it and
what you do with it is so, so,so important.

Brad (14:45):
Well, and you teach people how to protect that in your
shamanic balances, right?

Nannette (14:48):
I do.
Yeah.
Regularly.
Um, and also clearing yourenergy.
It's kind, your energy is kindof like a mosquito netting and,
um, throughout the day, youknow, you get little bugs on the
outside of it and you have to beable to clear things off.
Otherwise.
Things get a little hazy andit's hard to get the messages
that you need to get.
And, and so clearing that offand being really clean with your

(15:10):
energy, really clean with yourintention, your manifestations,
um, and present in your life inthe moment, just being, instead
of worrying about what's goingto happen in the future or
what's happened in the past, that those are the things that
stick you, those are the thingsthat drag your energy down.

Brad (15:26):
That's a really good analogy.
I like that with the mosquitonet.
And I've never used one, but Isaw him all the time on like
Daktari.

Nannette (15:33):
do.

Brad (15:34):
that

Nannette (15:35):
Oh my gosh.
You're, you're showing your age,

Brad (15:37):
Clarence, the cross eyed lion.
I watched a lot of reruns when Iwas little.

Nannette (15:42):
That is so funny.

Brad (15:45):
I always thought their little Range Rover was so cool.

Nannette (15:48):
Is that why you want a Range

Brad (15:49):
It might be, I don't know.

Nannette (15:51):
you it is.
Cause every time we see one, you're like, Oh,

Brad (15:53):
oh, I'm thinking

Nannette (15:54):
such a good looking car.
And I'm like, yeah, but you keeptelling me how they're pieces of
crap.

Brad (15:58):
I don't know, the old ones seem to last, but the new ones
are, I

Nannette (16:02):
They're not last.

Brad (16:03):
seem to last.
They don't have very goodratings.
They do for a minute, so youcould lease one for a couple of
years and be fine, but I don'tthink I would want to buy one.

Nannette (16:11):
Interesting.
I bet you it's linked to yourchildhood.
You've got good memories.

Brad (16:15):
maybe that's it.
I just want to go and hunt forClarence.
Can we paint it like a zebra?
A zebra.
I don't care what people think.

(16:38):
I literally that's it's like,and I think.
All right, let's go back to thebeginning.

Nannette (16:46):
Oh no.

Brad (16:48):
You know, so, in high school, everybody's concerned
what everybody thinks aboutthem, right?
And they're like, oh my gosh, amI popular?
Am I cool?
Am I a dork?
Am I, you know?
You go through all of thosethoughts and feelings and
emotions, right?
Everyone does in high school, because you're learning who you
are.

Nannette (17:05):
are.
Right.

Brad (17:07):
At some point, you have to take the high school and you put
it away.
It goes behind you and you go, Ilearned from that who I actually
am because life isn't highschool.

Nannette (17:17):
No, but you see that a lot in adults, like still,

Brad (17:21):
but that's, that's what I'm explaining is once I
realized, okay, this is who I amand I don't need to be drug down
by those lower vibrations.
I'm just fine where I'm at.
I can say what I want and I'mcool with that.
I'm fine.
Really?
The only person whose opinionmatters to me is yours.
My grandkids, my kids,

Nannette (17:43):
I

Brad (17:43):
mom and dad, maybe I don't know.
I, and even then I'm good enoughto go.
I can stand in my own space andthis is who I am.
what you see is what you get.
I'm not going to have any hiddenagenda or, you know, anything
that you don't know about.
The

Nannette (18:00):
the thing is, is though energy is energy and
you're getting thrown shade andso it's still energy getting
thrown at you.
So how do you deflect that fromsticking to you?
How do you, how do you do thewater off a duck's back?
How do you intentionally pushthat away?
I know you don't give a shit.

(18:20):
I get that.
And by the way, that was part ofyour.

Brad (18:23):
I know I'm supposed to give a shit, right?

Nannette (18:25):
to give a

Brad (18:26):
Well, but about people, about people, not about people's
opinions.
It's different.
So, so look, I think.
It's always come very natural tome.
All of this hooey wooey bullshithas always come very natural

Nannette (18:38):
you mean like you did this before and like lifetimes
before

Brad (18:41):
Potentially.
But, I don't really have tothink about it a lot, right?

Nannette (18:46):
really

Brad (18:52):
like consciously go, I'm going to do this.
Now, that's not to say that Ididn't, you know, go to the
shaman.
I didn't learn lessons.
I absolutely did.
And I learned a lot during thattime when I was going through
some of that shamanic training.
What I think has happenedthough, is it just became second
nature and you know, it's verymuch like what you teach people

(19:13):
to do in, in your sessions.
So I think that that's reallythe key is you get some
knowledge, you get someconfidence and it becomes second
nature and you just go throughlife and you go, yeah, that's
all right.
You

Nannette (19:25):
You kind of just make it your own,

Brad (19:27):
Yeah, exactly.
That's

Nannette (19:36):
don't vibe at a low frequency ever.

Brad (19:39):
a lot to really piss me off.

Nannette (19:42):
Well, and even, even when you're pissed off, you vibe
high.
It's like a high vibration.
It's like in your face.
Like, it's a

Brad (19:50):
done and over.

Nannette (19:51):
but when you vibe low, it's usually when you're really,
really sick and you vibe lowwhen you don't feel good.
And usually it's some stuff thathas gotten to you, um,
emotionally things that havegotten to you that make you vibe
low and then you get sick.

Brad (20:04):
Yeah, like COVID.
Yeah.
Yeah, that picture.
That was a horrible company Iwas working for at the time.
It was so bad.
The

Nannette (20:12):
bad, but the company were, it brought you down first
and then you got COVID and yougot it so badly, you almost
died.
And I, I literally thought I wasgoing to lose two husbands in a
month in January, liketerrified.
But, um, but, yeah.
wouldn't have been vibing lowlike that if you hadn't have
been beat down by your job

Brad (20:32):
down

Nannette (20:32):
So I I just think energy is just so interesting
and I've always wondered how youhandle it because you are up
more than down Most of the timeand you just don't yeah, you
don't let people bother you,

Brad (20:44):
don't let people bother

Nannette (20:46):
dude I had somebody reamed me yesterday and it
bugged me like for a couplehours.
It bugged

Brad (20:51):
uh,

Nannette (20:52):
just for Yeah for like a couple hours only because I
mean the person that did this.
Um, You Dude, she, she,

Brad (21:01):
Well, she was, well, she wasn't kind when she said it,
but she's been kind to you for alot of years.
She was a good friend, right?

Nannette (21:06):
You know, she wasn't accepted in our ward.
Like, and so we were kind of theoutcasts, you know, so that's
how we became friends.
And she literally was myvisiting teacher for years upon
years upon years.
And I wouldn't.

Brad (21:17):
visiting teacher?
It's someone

Nannette (21:18):
It's someone out of the Relief Society that would
come to your house and visitwith

Brad (21:22):
you.
They call it a ministeringsister

Nannette (21:24):
Now.
Yeah.
Anyways.

Brad (21:26):
And they being the Mormon Church.
Yes.
Yeah.

Nannette (21:30):
But that's how we became friends.
And then after Cory was killed,um, she showed up a lot.
But she was really, really, really awesome.
And then Over the cup of coffeething.
She reamed my butt.
Like, let me know that I was nota good example, that how dare I,
you know, disgrace Corey, likeall the things, like so low,

(21:53):
like.

Brad (21:54):
and I think she really took offense at the end of that
video where I go, what the fuck?

Nannette (22:01):
But yeah, if people know you, that's

Brad (22:06):
I, okay.
So maybe it goes back to evenwhen I was in high school, I
just didn't give a shit.
I don't think I gave a shit.
I was just, I'm going to be me,but I do remember a lot of
times, like I never wentswimming.
When I was a kid, I loved toswim, but I never went

Nannette (22:21):
swimming.
You're a guppy.
I

Brad (22:22):
thought I was fat.
And so I did not want to go swimbecause I thought I was fat.

Nannette (22:28):
I, like you.
Were not fat.
You're your

Brad (22:31):
so that was, so that was my, my big issue is I was very
insecure.

Nannette (22:37):
Wow.

Brad (22:39):
So, so I had things to get over and, and a lot of things
and most things I just didn'tcare.
I was just me, whatever.
Um, and especially when.
You know, your, your girlfriendgets pregnant in high school.
You learn to just go, okay, it'sjust all water off the ducks
back now.
So you kind

Nannette (22:55):
kind of just, um, grew some,

Brad (22:58):
very fast because I had a teenage pregnancy.

Nannette (23:02):
yeah, that's, that's interesting cause it was
completely different.
I mean, I had the teenagepregnancy as well and, and it
was very different being a womanwith the big fat belly, you
know, going through that and allthe judgment and all this stuff
because it was more shame thananything.
Um, And just beat down like youwould never be worth anything.

(23:23):
No one would ever want to marryyou.
I never thought in a millionyears I'd have a hot guy like
you, like never.
Cause I, you know, got knockedup when I was 16.
That was something that would beheld over my head for the rest
of my life.
How ridiculous, but I believedit at 16.
Cause I was told

Brad (23:36):
was told

Nannette (23:37):
like, Just so detrimental to a young mind.

Brad (23:45):
definitely,

Nannette (23:45):
okay.
But thank goodness those thingscan heal,

Brad (23:49):
Absolutely.
They can.
Um, and that's the cool thing, right?
So we can, we can all grow up.
We can learn from our mistakes.
We can learn from our past.
And that's just like you weresaying, history is there.
So we learn from it, which isawesome.
And, um, You know, we can'tdestroy our history because we
don't agree with it.
We have to study our history.

(24:10):
So we don't repeat

Nannette (24:11):
it.
Exactly, and we will be bound torepeat it if we forget it, and
that's what we're seeing.

Brad (24:16):
Well, and there's a lot of, a lot of people and
institutions that want to deletehistory, their own history,
other people's history.
So it matches their narrativecurrently.

Nannette (24:26):
Yeah, that's not cool.
It's not okay.
I think those of us that knowbetter need to keep standing up
and standing in their way andsaying no.
How about no?

Brad (24:34):
about back off?
Yeah.

Nannette (24:36):
back off?
Yeah.
Yeah.
We need to stand for what'sright and not be silent.
You know, there's elections thatare going on in every single
state and I think people need toremember.

Brad (24:47):
Oh no, Nan's getting political.
Just so everyone understands,

Nannette (24:50):
I'm a delegate.

Brad (24:51):
Nan became a delegate this year and she has jumped in to
the deep end with both feet.
She has been living, breathingpolitics for the last several
months

Nannette (25:01):
I, I have

Brad (25:02):
It's been really cool to watch.
She's, she's really done a greatjob with it.
She's gotten to meet all thecandidates.
She, you know, has really doneher homework and been a very,
very informed uh, delegate, which is a representative of her
friends and neighbors who, youknow, rely on her to vote those
people into the primaries.

Nannette (25:21):
So if you're not aware of the way our system works, um,
at the grassroots level, thatmeans at home here at home, um,
they have, what's called acaucus and, um,

Brad (25:32):
I

Nannette (25:33):
love that word.
You're so 14.
Um, what, what happens it says.
It's a certain number of blocksthat are in a precinct.
They call it a precinct.
And so your county will bebroken up into different
precincts.
And so your precinct will meettogether.
And what they'll do is they'll,they'll nominate people within

(25:54):
the precinct to be what's calledthe delegate.
You'll have several statedelegates.
And then you also have countydelegates so you've got people
that are doing.
Both kinds of things.
But when you go to the meet andgreets and the debates, um, you
get to meet and watch thesecandidates, you know, go back
and forth with all of theissues.

(26:14):
And, um, you get to see thepeople that are actually in
office.
And I didn't know this before, but you can actually go and see
how these people are voting ondifferent bills.
And so if they tell you, Oh, I,I vote to lower your taxes.
You can actually go and look atthe bills that hire your taxes
and see if they voted yes or no.
And then be like, no, you justlied because you voted yes to

(26:35):
hire my taxes.
Oh, and you're against this, butyou just voted for this.
So it's, it's kind of crazy.
Um, yeah.
If you, if you're not in it, youdon't realize this is happening,
but on these delegates, they getfor months, they get to interact
with these candidates and noseto nose, ask them questions and
go back and forth.

(26:55):
And there's a lot of dirtylaundry and a lot of rumors and
things like that that go aroundand you get to vet things out
and actually find the truth.
And then you get to feel thetruth with your heart and be
like, okay, that's This is theright person, but you also get
to talk to your neighbors thatare in your precinct and be, and
be like, so this is what I'mexperiencing.
And this is what I'm seeing.
And this is what I think, whatdo you think?

(27:17):
Because you are representingyour precinct, you're not
representing you, it's yourprecinct.
And so when you go and you castyour vote, It's not the final
vote.
You're nominating someone.
You're not electing someone.
You're nominating someone fromthe party to get on the primary
ballot so you're whittlingthings down.
It's basically what you'redoing.
It is an awesome system andthere's some things in Utah that

(27:39):
need to change, but yeah, Ihighly recommend it.
Go, go find out what your, yourcandidates are doing.
Go find out what they're votingon because, um, America needs us
to stand up.

Brad (27:50):
what they're voting on.
Because, um, America needs us tostand up.
You make a huge difference.
So, make sure you register tovote.
Go, go take care of that.

Nannette (28:04):
make them earn your vote.
You guys

Brad (28:05):
it's valuable.
It is,

Nannette (28:06):
it is because other

Brad (28:07):
have it.
Well, there are some candidateswho say it's not.
In fact, uh, one of thecandidates down here in southern
Utah actually told a delegatethat you're actually worth.7
cents to me.
Yeah.
Because.
That,

Nannette (28:19):
So I don't have to answer your

Brad (28:21):
was essentially what his salary equated to for this
person.
Very despicable.
But, um, wow, there's somenegativity.
You want to talk negativity, let's get into a political
podcast.
Wowza.

Nannette (28:33):
Okay.
Next

Brad (28:34):
Yeah, do you want to have a political podcast?
I don't.

Nannette (28:36):
political podcast?
I don't know.
No, there's enough of those outthere right now.
Actually.
There's a lot out there.

Brad (28:43):
So let's, let's get back into the whole spiritual realm
and why don't we draw a card forour listeners for the week?
Oh, we're going to open themagic box.

Nannette (28:54):
To that one.
Yeah.

Brad (28:58):
I saw that look.

Nannette (29:00):
I

Brad (29:01):
I saw that look.
You

Nannette (29:02):
one.
What can they expect for, uh,

Brad (29:09):
What is out there for our listeners for this week?

Nannette (29:12):
Oh.

Brad (29:12):
like that one right there.

Nannette (29:13):
That's not a great card.
It's not.
It is not.
This is a card.
Nine of Swords is your dramacard.

Brad (29:19):
card.
Drama.
So apparently you're going towatch a lot of social media, uh,
Brad's posts, and uh, politicalposts.
So that, there's your dramaright there.
So I'm going to explain whatthis card looks like.
So looks like it's in a castleroom, so stone wall with a big
archway window looking out at acrescent moon.

(29:42):
There's a woman lying in bed,looks like she's asleep, she's
wearing a blue nightdress, andthere are nine swords laying
atop of her, just in the air.
It looks like she's dreaming ofthese nine swords.
So, while she's dreaming of thenine swords right now and the
drama's coming, you can wake upfrom it.

(30:02):
And you can change it.
By being conscious and beingmindful and being purposeful in
what you do.
So don't let the card discourageyou.
Just know that you have powerover your own destiny.

Nannette (30:15):
um, I'm telling you, and I will say it again and
again and again, um, if you comefrom a space coming from your
spirit out, There isn't anythingto worry about, right?

Brad (30:30):
Yeah.
So

Nannette (30:31):
Everything will be calm and peaceful.
And if there's anything to worryabout, spirit will tell you so
just listen, be in tune with theother side, be in tune with your
solar plexus chakra, you know, your heart chakra, listen to
your intuition, and don't letthe things That are going on
around the world, bother you.

(30:53):
Those people have to learnthings from their perspective
and they're doing the thingsthey need to do, but you can
raise the vibration and thinkabout it.
Everything's energy.
If we all raise our vibration, those of us that are awake, that
are healing, that are vibinghigh.
If we keep vibing high and wekeep.
Um, we're going to, we're goingto change them too.

(31:13):
So it's just one little thing ata time every day, just chip away
at it.
Keep working at yourself, keephealing, keep your vibration
high, um, and be full ofgratitude because love,
gratitude and abundance are allthe same vibration.
So if you want to pull thosethings to you, be in a state of
gratitude.
that.
I just pulled out the book justto see kind of the keywords for

(31:35):
this.
And the very first is dramaqueen card, but it does say,
which I find kind of funny, psychic or emotional vampire or
victim.
And we just talked about that,

Brad (31:46):
we did.

Nannette (31:47):
but these things, these negative things that are
around us can leech our energyfrom us.
So protect your energy and makesure.
In that protection, if anybodythrows any shade at you, you
throw it right back,

Brad (31:59):
Do you throw it back or you reflect it

Nannette (32:02):
reflect it

Brad (32:03):
You don't, you don't need to get

Nannette (32:04):
don't need to consciously throw it back, but
yeah, just protect your energy.
It's so, so, so important.
If you don't know, come see meand I'll teach you how

Brad (32:12):
