This week, Emily talks with her old friend, The Rev. Ann Kansfield, whose book, "Be the Brave One: Living Your Spiritual Values Out Loud" is out December 14. Ann is a self-described "hyper extrovert" and is the first female and first openly gay FDNY chaplain. She was also the very first New York Times New Yorker of the year. Emily and Ann discuss parenting with ADHD, apologizing after a fight, and the surprising place Ann put a refrigerator during lockdown. Ann also gives Emily some words of encouragement for what is sure to be a very busy 2022 (also, how the hell is it almost 2022?!).
