Mother Toughers we are getting so close to closing this year out and goodness, this year has brought so many lessens. Last week, I talked about church hurt and what I learned from it... this week we are continuing that conversation. During this time in this church, I began two friendships, well looking back now I know that I really only gained one. Being friends with someone who is dealing with things they are not willing to confront, or things they are not willing to take accountability for, or someone who just is not capable of being a friend, is NOT a friendship. I thought I was stronger than falling to manipulation tactics but in a place, like church, that I believed to be safe I fell for it. When my eyes started opening and everything hit me and when the hurt was planted, I could have let that lead me from God but OH NO God had other plans... He planted someone right in my path that was in His PERFECT TIMING!!!
