Future MLB Big Leaguer – My Guest, Landon Harmon, Graduated from East Union High School class of 2025 in Blue Springs, MS.

Landon was only 8 when he and his parents saw that he had a special gift in baseball. Once he took the mound for the first time, pitching started to become a part of his everyday life. Taking lessons and practicing was second nature, but finding the right fit can sometimes be challenging. His parents found a great pitching coach, but unfortunately the drive was over an hour one way. Some might say this was the real moment that Landon saw what his future could be.
Landon’s father offered a trade for Landon’s pitching lessons. His father said the family could buy a ski boat or he could continue with lessons but they couldn’t afford both. Without hesitation Landon opted for the lessons. Some might say the rest is history, but I would argue that history was just starting to be made.
As Landon got into high school he continued to grow both as a player and a teammate and one more testament to Landon’s character is that he understood his priorities and what they meant. School was always first, then baseball and then friends. Having this kind of work ethic and his priorities in check it is easy to see how he has garnered so much success.
Now that he has graduated high school and brought home another state championship for his school, Landon now waits to see if he will be drafted on July 13th, 2025. Regardless if he gets that call on that night or sometime in the future, I can honestly say that his future is as bright as anyone I’ve seen. If he goes undrafted this time around he will be attending Mississippi State University and that’s not a bad consolation prize if you ask me.
