Do you struggle with constantly prioritizing your gym routine over time with God? Do you feel frustrated with God when your body has physical limitations, such as injury or pregnancy? (Ahem, speaking for myself here.)

It doesn't take a seasoned personal trainer to tell you that exercise is good for your health, nor a Biblical scholar to tell you that God calls us to take care of this Holy Spirit-filled temple, which is our body. But we certainly know that God calls us to serve Him as our #1 priority and that serving other idols (such as exercise of physical fitness) runs counter to His Word.

In today's episode we are discussing idolatry of exercise and how to break free from it, so God can reign and rule our lives, not the bondage of a strict gym routine. This one hits close to home right now, because I've been navigating a tough pregnancy that has humbled me physically. As a personal trainer of over 11 years and a pre/postnatal certified coach, this feels extra humbling to be the least physically fit I've been.

Tune into this episode for both my personal journey in this second pregnancy and 10 questions to determine if exercise is becoming an idol in your own life.
