Work vs. Rest in God [What Mary and Martha Teach Us in Luke 10:38-42]

How are we to know when to take servant action and when to embrace worshipful rest? The Bible has a lot to say about the interplay of the two and Mary and Martha, specifically, have a lot to teach us.

In this episode, I deep dive into a couple scriptures that reveal Jesus' response to the worried and anxious action of Martha vs. the restful worship of Mary. While they both seemed to have positive intention, their heart posture was very different, and this impacted the way that they reacted to the presence of God in the flesh.
