Alex Sanfilippo is the SaaS Founder of PodPros, a company that develops software solutions for the podcasting industry. He is also the founder and former CEO of DailyPS, a multi-author blog with over 130 writers, the former host of one of the largest Christian podcasts globally, the Good Christian Podcast, as well as the host of two successful podcasts, Podcasting Made Simple and Creating a Brand. Before embarking into the podcasting industry in a full-time capacity, Alex served as the Director of Commercial Operations, Aerospace of Team JAS, an FAA-approved manufacturing provider he worked with for over 15 years.

Alex joins me today to discuss why letting go of awkward silence is the key to deeper podcast conversations. He describes his childhood and how he discovered his knack for entrepreneurship in his teenage years. He explains how he found his passion for writing and content creation. He shares his mission to help beginners become established podcasters and highlights how his first podcast, Creating a Brand, became one of the top 20 entrepreneurship podcasts on Apple. We also discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the growth of the podcast industry and what we believe is in store for podcasting in the post-COVID era.

“Knowing when not to speak is important. You have to be actively listening.” - Alex Sanfilippo
