Many parents have reached out to us to request some perspective from kids who moved out here and survived the big changes. So, we decided to start by interviewing the youngest of our family who made the move--our son, Samuel.
Samuel was just 11 years old when we left California in the summer of 2012. Today, he's all grown up with adult perspective on our move. He shares the good and the bad about moving to a new state, along with a pretty big mom-fail that happened his first year here.
