God's rescue plan goes beyond simply answering our prayers—He leads us on a straight path until we reach our destination. Psalm 107:6-7 reveals this three-part divine process: crying out, being delivered, and being led all the way to where we need to dwell.

• God doesn't just hear our cries—He delivers us from distress
• He provides a "straight way" with specific instructions and direction
• He stays involved until we reach our destination
• Many of us miss following God's guidance after the initial rescue
• Ask God for divine strategy, wisdom and understanding in all situations
• Even in seasons of joy, we should ask God to keep us on the right path
• When life is "lifing" and people are "peopling," don't lose hope
• All things work together for your good—even difficult seasons

If you're going through challenges right now, please hold on a little longer. Don't lose faith despite what things look like. God will use even this season to bless you and your entire generation.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey y'all, it's Saturday, faith Fuel, and I want
to read you something that Ithink is very encouraging,
reading it for myself, speakingto myself and also to you.
I'm in Psalm 107 and I'm inverse 6, and it says Then they
cried to the Lord in theirtrouble and he delivered them
from their distress.
He led them by a straight waytill they reached a city to

(00:22):
dwell in.
Then they cried to the Lord intheir trouble and he delivered
them from their distress.
He led them by a straight waytill they reached a city to
dwell in.
Okay, so part of the reason Ifind a lot of hope in this
teaching, especially for thoseof us.
Maybe you feel like you're in aseason where you're crying out,

(00:43):
you're, you know, you're goingthrough the things.
There's so many people who areheartbroken and, just you know,
confused and just not, you knowthings aren't going the way that
they hoped or prayed or planned.
But what I find so encouragingabout this word is it's not just
that we cry out to the Lord andhe hears our trouble and like

(01:06):
that's it, you know, like hedoesn't follow through.
It's not just that he, you know, rescues you from a situation,
if you will.
That's the second part where hesays he led them by a straight
way.
Like when the Lord rescues youfrom something, he's giving you
specific instructions, strategy,direction.

(01:27):
He's leading you by a straightway so that you don't fall off
track.
And it says till they reached acity to dwell in, until you
land in the right place, he isstill involved.
So we cry out, he leads us, heredeems us and he's still with
us till we get to ourdestination y'all.

(01:49):
So here's my just really quickword of encouragement for all of
us, because we are goingthrough it, whether you're in a
season of joy or a season ofheartbreak.
Even if you're in a season ofjoy, you know I still find
myself, you know, you knowsaying Lord, let me stay here.

(02:10):
You know what I mean.
Like, don't take the joy fromme y'all.
But I want to encourage youthat God isn't just going to
answer our prayers, but he'sgoing to lead us on a straight
path, a straight way, a prayerthat I do before I do this,
before any business, meetings, conversations, like you know,
anything y'all.
I ask the Lord to give medivine strategy, ask him to give

(02:32):
me his wisdom, give meunderstanding, give me favor
with the people I'm speaking to,when I have a problem, a
heartbreak, depression, darkthoughts, all the things when
I'm really strugglingno-transcript.

(02:53):
But quite frankly, I'm alsoasking the Lord to lead me in
the right path.
I don't want to go back intowhere I just came from, okay.
So I want to encourage youagain in Psalm 107 that he's not
just going to answer yourprayer, he's not just going to
redeem you, but if we allow himy'all that he will lead us in
the straight path.
He'll show you the way out.
He'll lead you until you get toyour destination.

(03:15):
Problem that a lot of us haveis that we have the situation we
pray to god, he shows you a wayout, and then we just kind of
bounce, we forget to rely on himfor what the next steps are.
And, um, I just, I just want toencourage you.
I also just want to take a quickmoment to just encourage anyone
who's going through the thingsright now.
You know there is again, like Isaid, there's so much negative

(03:36):
stuff through the things rightnow.
You know there is again, like Isaid, there's so much negative
stuff that's happening right nowand I don't, you know, I don't
want to, I don't want tooverlook that, because life is
lifing.
You know, people is, people arepeopling and life is lifing.
So if you're going through alot and you have no one, no
friend, no companion, maybe youcame across this video and you,
you know, here's this strangeron the other side just telling

(03:58):
you to just hold on just another, another day.
Just hang in there.
Please don't give up hope.
Please don't lose hope.
Um, I, I'm really believing thisseason is going to turn around
for you.
Um, you know all of this, um,all the stuff that you're
dealing with right now healthissues, financial issues, loss
of any kind, just feelingemotionally exhausted and having

(04:21):
this sense that God isn'thearing your prayers.
It's really not true.
He is.
I want to encourage you to justhold on a little bit longer.
I want to ask you not to loseyour faith and your hope,
despite what things look like.
I want you to remember that theword says that all things are
working together for your good.
All things are working togetherfor your good, and that means

(04:41):
even this crazy, crappy seasonthat you might be in, that even
this, god will use it to blessyou.
All right, and I hope thatyou'll just hear what I'm saying
and just remember that someoneon the other side of the screen
that we may never meet in IRL,in real life, somebody on the
other side of this screen ispulling for you, wants the best

(05:03):
for you, is praying for you, andI hope that every single desire
that you have, that God's goingto give you a strategy and a
way out in this here month, onthis here day.
God bless you, and may he makehis face shine upon you.
I pray that you'll be ablessing not just for yourself,
your family, but for your entiregeneration, for your family,

(05:24):
for your community.
Please don't lose hope.
God bless you and have anamazing rest of the day and
y'all take care.
Bye.
