Our divine timing is perfectly aligned with God's purpose for our lives, even when we feel like our dreams are taking too long to manifest. We explore Hannah's story from 1 Samuel and extract powerful principles about waiting with purpose that apply to business building, career advancement, and ministry development.

• Understand the difference between your passion and your divine purpose
• Don't abandon your current provision prematurely while pursuing new dreams
• Trust that your current job may be teaching you necessary skills for your future venture
• Recognize the purpose in pivoting when something isn't flowing naturally
• Give yourself grace during the development process of any new endeavor
• Operating in true purpose brings supernatural energy and alignment
• Use waiting periods to prepare thoroughly for what's coming next
• Look beyond instant success to building generational legacy
• Social media "overnight successes" typically represent years of behind-the-scenes work
• Your seed requires proper timing to produce its greatest harvest

I want nothing but the best for all of us. I want everything that we do in this birthing season to yield an incredible, great reward. I want you to have the kind of lives that your children and children's children will echo your name through generations.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning y'all.
It's another Saturday, faithFuel, and today's topic is
timing.
It's timing and I'm reallylooking forward to just sharing
some things that are on my heartconcerning timing, and I hope
this blesses you.
So, for those of y'all who arejust kind of new to Faith Fuel,
I just pop on every Saturday.
I typically come on for aboutless than 10 minutes and I just

(00:23):
share something that's inspiring, hopefully inspiring and
encouraging you, and so I hopeyou had a great week.
Um, I hope you get somethingout of this teaching and I hope
you like and share this sosomebody else can get this as
well.
All right, y'all.
So so, first of all, lord, wethank you for today, this
amazing saturn, for any personwho's under the sound of my
voice, who is right now kind ofwondering, like where you at,

(00:47):
and so we ask that you'll revealto us through your words and
give us some guidance and someinspiration and encouragement
and motivation when it comes totiming in our life.
Amen, so we're going to comeout of first, samuel.
Y'all, it's still really warmhere in Georgia and if I start
like beating up and sweating, don't come for me.

(01:09):
All right, I'm a girl of acertain age, but I'm coming out
of 1 Samuel and 1 Samuel a lotof us, a lot of preachers, a lot
of teachers, a lot of usbelievers, people who read the
Bible, we typically come hereand we read the story of Hannah
and I think this is for me again, you know, hannah, the mother

(01:33):
of Samuel, really good story, somuch to take from in terms of
the things that Hannah wentthrough, not just in her own
right, you know, in preparingherself, really wanting, really
desiring a child, and so a lotof times when we read this we
think about this from a mother'sperspective of you know what

(01:54):
she went through, even beingbullied a little bit by that
other lady, sorry y'all, buteven being bullied, you know,
and you know, really, really, really being set up to fail in
her own mind, watching Peninagive birth to other children and

(02:19):
having no children of her own, having no children of her own.
So it starts off in firstSamuel.
I'm going to kind of try tocontextualize this just a little
bit because I want you to seesomething, because so Hannah, in
verse three, talks about thisman used to grow up, year by
year from his city to worshipand sacrifice to the Lord of

(02:40):
Hosts and Shiloh, where the twosons of Eli Hophni and Phinehas
were priests of the Lord.
And on the day that Elkan, twosons of Eli Hophni and Phinehas
were priests of the Lord, and onthe day that Elkanah sacrificed
, he would give portions toPenina, his wife, and to all her
sons and daughters.
But to Hannah he gave a doubleportion because he loved her.
Though the Lord had closed herwomb, her rival used to provoke
her grievously, to irritate herbecause the Lord had closed her

(03:02):
womb.
So it went on year by year, andas often as she went up to the
house of the Lord, she used toprovoke her.
Therefore, hannah wept andwould not eat.
And Hannah, her husband, saidto her Hannah, why do you eat
and why do you not eat and whyis your heart sad?
Am I not more to you than 10sons?
What Elkanah was saying, Ibelieve, is isn't my love enough

(03:24):
for you?
Isn't my love enough for you?
Isn't my love enough for you, more so than the sons that you
don't have?
So so in verse 11, just pullingit down a little bit, she vowed
and vowed and said oh, lord ofhosts, this is her going and
praying to the Lord.
You, if you will indeed look onthe attention of affliction of
your servant and remember me,and I'm going to skip a little

(03:46):
bit and come over to verse 20.
And it says and in due time.
Hannah conceived and bore a son,and she called his name Samuel,
for she said, I have asked forhim from the Lord.

(04:07):
This is what timing, this iswhat I'm going to talk about
with timing.
Today.
We're going to take it out ofthe context of maternal timing,
meaning those of you who arepraying and asking the Lord for
a son or daughter or child.
We're going to talk abouttiming in another practical
manner Timing especially forthose of y'all who are trying to
.
Maybe you're trying to build abusiness, maybe you're trying to

(04:30):
expand a business, maybe you'retrying to build a ministry,
whatever that looks like, buttiming in due time is really
important.
What we want to take away fromhere is Hannah had this
incredible desire on her heart.
Like you do, you might havethis incredible desire on your

(04:51):
heart to build something and yougo to the Lord and you, you
know, lord, give me this thing.
Your competitors, or even, canI just say this, maybe some of
your friends you know, people inyour friend group might even
try to convince you.
Don't do that, don't worryabout doing that.
You know no one's ever did that, you know.

(05:12):
So you might have that what wecall.
You know.
A lot of times christians saythe enemy is coming after me,
but people will be, you know.
So you might have that what wecall.
You know.
A lot of times Christians saythe enemy is coming after me,
but people will be, you know, betrying to convince you
otherwise and bully you a littlebit.
And yet what happens is, whileHannah was still waiting for the
Lord to produce the blessing ofSamuel right for her son, there

(05:35):
were things that she had to doduring that time.
Right and in due time.
The Lord didn't say in 10 daysyou're going to get pregnant.
He didn't say in one year yourbusiness is going to flourish
and then you can quit everythingelse right.
It says in due time.

(05:55):
What we need to do is we haveto align with God's timing for
the things, the projects, thebusiness, the speaking
engagements, all the things wehave to align to his.
The promotion, the acceleration, all the things that we ask God
for.
We have to align to his time.
When I pray, I ask God, I givehim my desire, and then I say I

(06:20):
ask God, I give him my desire, and then I say, let your will be
done Right.
So so I have a couple of thingsthat I want to share, just in
terms of things.
I want to say, just keytakeaways real quick.
The first one is I want you toremember, about due timing, that
we are not, you know, when yougive your desire.
There's a lot of folks and putthis, put it this way, and
please don't be mad at me.
Okay, there's a lot of folksand put it this way, and please
don't be mad at me.
Okay, there's a lot of folksthat they get a passion for a

(06:41):
project and they really believethat the Lord is telling them to
go head on full speed and dothat thing, and he probably is.
Okay, you put the desire inyour heart and he's laying some
things out, but you hit a walland you're hitting roadblocks
and things are slowing down.
It doesn't mean that God istelling you to quit your job,

(07:01):
quit your day job to go pursuethat other thing 1000%.
He might be inspiring you.
Thank you, holy Spirit, for youto put more time into
developing that thing before youleave that day job.
Why?
Because when you move intosomething that's your divine
purpose, there isn't much of astruggle with it.

(07:22):
Can I just tell you, just likefor real, like you would see,
those people and things justseem to flow because they're in
that, they're in his divinetiming and all things are
working together for my good.
I can literally see everythingaligning for me.
It's because I'm in his timing, and so I want to encourage you
that the word says in due time.

(07:43):
So don't leave a good paying jobto just take something up.
Wait until wait, because thisis where you have to use your
critical thinking, right?
Wait until that thing is readybefore you let go of the other
provision that God gave you,right?
Why?
So that it doesn't impact yourhousehold, it doesn't impact

(08:04):
your mental health.
Another thing that happens is Ican tell for sure and I know
y'all can too when someone isworking through and they're
operating in their full purpose, not passion purpose, because I
got a passion for shopping butthat's not my purpose.
Okay, when I'm operating in mypurpose, y'all, I can go to that
day job and I still have timeand energy reserved, I still can

(08:28):
do the things of worship, I canstill come on and teach and
preach four times a week, because that is my purpose.
My purpose is to teach andworship.
Okay, so you're not.
A lot of times people want tolet go.
They want to let go of theprovisions that God gave you
because you want to jump intothis thing faster, and so you're
interrupting the timing in duetiming, because in that job that

(08:53):
you might not appreciate rightnow, there are things that
you're going to learn that'sgoing to take you and help you
in that business you're tryingto build.
Okay, it takes time to birthsomething that's you are

(09:23):
building again.
Hannah went through this, youknow, and she, you know, prayed
and she was troubled in spiritand you know she was crying out
to the Lord because she had adeep passion, a deep desire to
be a mother.
But while she was worship, while she was doing that, she
was still living, y'all right.
So it does take time to birthsomething.

(09:45):
I want you to give yourselfgrace.
Just because you come up withthe idea today doesn't mean it's
going to pop off tomorrow.
Don't be fooled by what you seeon social media.
People work behind the scenesfor many years and then they
tell people oh, I'm launching, blah, blah, blah.
Right.
You ever see those influencers.
They come on and they announcethey're leaving their corporate

(10:07):
gig and they're going full terminto content creation.
They were doing contentcreation for years.
Right Timing, in due timing, all right.
The last thing I want to say isthere is purpose when you pivot.
You got to use this time toprepare you.
If you're right now, you'velaunched the thing and it feels

(10:28):
like things aren't comingtogether really quickly and
you're kind of struggling just alittle bit, you can't find
clients, but there is a purposein a pivot.
I want you to just pause.
I want you to go back and askthe Lord to show you the timing.
Like Lord, align me with yourtiming so that your will be done

(10:49):
.
I want your perfect timing.
Give me an excellent spirit,lord.
Bless my hands, but give me thestrategy and the timing.
And if I'm out of sync with you, lord, god, I want to get back
in sync with you.
Your word says in due time.
Hannah conceived and bore a son.
So I thank you, lord, that indue time I will conceive and

(11:10):
bear this great business thatI'm building, this ministry that
I'm building, in due time.
Lord, god, I will be promotedon my job In due time, lord God.
I will be expanded in myterritory in due time, but in
the time, lord God, prepare mefor this purpose.
Amen.
Why y'all?
Because I want nothing but thebest for all of us.

(11:31):
I want us to excel.
I want everything that we do inthis birthing season that you
yield an incredible, greatreward.
I want you to have the kind oflives, y'all, that your children
and children's children aregoing to echo your name through
generations and they're going tohave your picture up and say
man, thank God for my grandmaso-and-so, my great-grandma,

(11:54):
great-grandpa, so-and-so,because they planted the seed.
But again, even seeds when youplant them, it takes time.
For that it takes time y'all,it takes time.
So be patient.
Be patient and don't be bad.
I love you.
I hope this blessed y'all Again.
I came out of 1 Samuel andtalked a little bit about Hannah
, just to recap real quickly butreally leaning in on verse 20.

(12:17):
And in due time Hannahconceived and bore a son and she
called his name Samuel for saidI've asked for him from the
Lord.
I hope that the business thatyou're asking the Lord for comes
to, comes into play, thatyou're blessed by for
generations to come, and I hopethis message touched you today.
Thank you so much for watchingand have an incredible Saturday.

(12:37):
Bye y'all.
